Tour guides where awesome and the views and scenery where beautiful. However we where disappointed that there wasn’t a lot of more Jurassic park props and scenery. Also didn’t like that we had to wait 3 hours after the tour to head back .

Everyone participating was Japanese, so I felt at ease. I participated with my partner horse, Shea, who was so cute. ❤️❤️ Sometimes she would trot a bit, but she listened well and was absolutely adorable. It was the best experience! The guide also spoke to us in broken Japanese, which was fun. The shuttle bus was cold on the way there but hot on the way back. I want to go again!!!!!!!

The rings of Saturn were clearly visible and looked so cute. The moon was so large that it couldn't fit in the telescope, and the craters were clearly visible, which was very surprising. My husband and I did the ATV 2 hour ride / tour and it was amazing! It was so much fun to ride in the ATV and the views are incredible! It’s definitely a must when you come to O’ahu. You do get very dirty, so make sure you were clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Our guides, Dani and Laura, were awesome. I love that they not only told us about all the filming locations and but they taught us things about the Hawaiian culture and the meaning of things. It was such a cool experience and it made me fall in love with the culture even more.

I was picked up three hours before the participation time at the Aloha Landing Bus stop at Sheraton Waikiki Hotel (this may vary by person).

At the Aloha Landing Bus stop, the bus arrived just in time for departure, which might cause anxiety for those used to Japanese standards, but let's wait without rushing.

Before boarding, there was a prior instruction to present the VELTRA voucher, but in reality, you need to show your passport to the person managing the bus passengers (who is different from the driver) for check-in. If you show the voucher to that person, you might get yelled at with "Passport!!" in frustration, so be sure to bring your passport! There was someone who didn't have their passport and had a bit of a hassle before boarding.

It takes about an hour to get to Kualoa Ranch, and you arrive in no time.

Once at the ranch, there is a Japanese-speaking guide who hands out a paper with the experience time and return bus schedule for each person. They also explain the locations of the activities at that time. With this paper, you can easily communicate without any waste when participating in activities or boarding the return bus, so make sure not to lose it! After the explanation, you have free time until your participation time, so you can browse the shop, eat, or pet the horses.

The check-in for the UTV Raptor starts 15 minutes before the scheduled time, and you will need to show your driver's license at that time. After check-in, you will watch an instructional video before driving, but if you don’t specify, you will watch the video in English. If you're not confident in English, make sure to clearly say "Japanese"! There is also a Japanese version of the instructional video available.

The four-wheeled buggy has no windows on all sides, so the dust is incredible (laughs). You will get dirtier than you can imagine, so it's best to participate in clothes you don't mind throwing away and shoes or bags that can get dirty!

Also, since your face will get completely black from the dust, I think it's a good idea to prepare a mask or bandana to cover your face. Afterward, my mouth felt gritty, which was quite a hassle^^ I also recommend bringing a change of clothes for the return trip!

The four-wheeled buggy is not too difficult to drive aside from the bumps and ups and downs (of course, there are no intersections or traffic lights), so I think those who drive regularly will have no problem. It was my first experience with a left-hand drive, but it was totally fine.

The scenery was amazing, with the wind blowing through, and it was so much fun to race through the landscapes I saw in Jurassic Park! Above all, the tour guides were friendly and playful, making for a wonderful time.

I definitely want to participate again!

この紙があれば、アクティビティに参加する際や、帰りのバスに乗る際に見せるだけでお互いに無駄の無く意思疎通が出来て、とても便利なので無くさないようにしましょう！
説明の後は各々の参加時間までフリーなので、ショップを見たり、ご飯を食べたり、馬を撫でたりして過ごします。

UTV Raptor の受け付けは開始時間の15分から、その際に運転免許証を見せます。
受付後の運転前に説明動画を観るのですが、何も伝えないと英語の説明動画を観ることになります。
英語が不安な方ははっきり「Japanese」と伝えましょう！日本語の説明動画もあります。

四輪バギーは全方向窓がないので、とにかく土埃が
すごい（笑）
想像の50倍汚れたので、棄てても良い服、汚れても良い靴や鞄などで参加された方が良いです！

また、土埃で顔が真っ黒になるので、運動用の顔を覆い隠すマスクやバンダナ等を用意された方が良いと思います。
終わった後には口の中もジャリジャリして大変でした^^
帰りの事も考えて着替えを持ってくるのもおすすめします！

四輪バギーは凸凹やアップダウンが多い以外はそんなに難しい道ではないので(当然ですが交差点も信号もない）
日頃、運転されている方は問題なく運転できると思います。
左ハンドル初体験でしたが、全然問題ありませんでした。

景色も最高で、風が吹き抜けて、ジュラシックパークで観た景色を疾走するのはとても楽しかったです！何よりツアーガイドさんが皆さん気さくでお茶目でより素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。

是非また参加したいです！

The horse I rode seemed to be a veteran that suited me well; it was very cautious, allowing me to ride comfortably. It was a very enjoyable two hours.

I wanted to experience activities other than the beach in Hawaii, so I participated in this tour. It was great to have round-trip transportation included since it was too far to go on my own from Honolulu.

I traveled alone to Hawaii for the first time in my life and made a reservation for skydiving, which was one of my main goals.

I chose a course where the instructor took photos and videos, and they sent me a well-edited video along with a considerable number of photos. The quality was worth the price, so if you have the budget, go for it!

Also, it's a good idea to prepare tips of about $10 for the driver and $20 to $30 for the instructor.

I went with a group that barely understood English, but we managed to communicate using Google Translate and gestures, and we took on our first skydiving experience. The wait time before boarding was a bit long, but the skydiving itself was amazing with beautiful scenery. The moment we jumped out of the plane was truly exhilarating.

When I arrived at the meeting place, I could see the popularity of Kualoa with a large group tour. (It seems that participants in other adventures at Kualoa Ranch were also present, not just for horseback riding.)

Upon arrival, I was directed to the Japanese-speaking group, where explanations were provided in Japanese. When I went to the horseback riding area at the meeting time, I was in a group with five Americans and myself. I was guided to watch a Japanese explanation video, and then we set off on a two-hour tour with the other five.

The staff selected horses that seemed well-suited to each person's physique and age.

During the two-hour journey, they frequently asked if I was okay. Being Japanese, I answered "I'm fine," but the other Americans openly expressed their discomfort, mentioning knee and back pain. When I mentioned that my knee was slightly hurting, they adjusted the stirrup length for me. Once my foot position was lowered and my knee was slightly extended, it became quite comfortable. So, if you feel any discomfort while riding, I think it’s good to communicate that without hesitation.

They provided explanations of the scenery along the way, but since the six horses were walking somewhat apart, it was difficult for me to hear the staff's voice from the back of the group. With my English skills, it was hard to catch the faint English being spoken, so I focused on enjoying the magnificent scenery while horseback riding. 2時間の行程の途中で、たびたび大丈夫？と聞いてくれるので、日本人的に「大丈夫」と答えていたのですが、他の米国人達は膝が痛いとか腰が痛いとか遠慮せずに色々言っているので、私も膝が少し痛む旨伝えたところ、あぶみの長さを調整してくれました。足の位置が下がって膝が少し伸びるとかなり快適になったので、乗馬中に身体の痛みなどが気になったら、遠慮せず伝えてみると良いと思います。

I had an amazing time with my experience ATV-ing on the north shore. North Shore stables is awesome. The owner truly believes in giving back to the community and the experience I had was the best activity I’ve had thus far on the island. Not commercialized, pure, and the ATV driver (I forget her name) was awesome. I can’t say enough about how you should book with North Shore stables! ・不可抗力によりバスにおいていかれることがある。2時間のツアーが終了して15分後にバスが出発するというのが元々の予定だったが、実際にはツアーが2時間15分くらいまで延びて、その後トイレに行っていたら帰りのバスにおいていかれた。後でチケット売り場の人に質問したら、バスは出発予定時刻の5分後までしか待っていなかったとのこと。手や顔を洗ってツアーの場所からバスまで歩く時間とトイレに行く時間を合わせて5分しかもらえなかったということになる。
