I really wanted to go horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch. It's a shame there’s no shuttle service. It takes an hour and a half by bus from Ala Moana, and I was worried about not having enough buses to get back. I was disappointed that I spent time on things other than horseback riding. I would really like to request that you consider offering a plan with shuttle service.

I'm not sure if it was because I mentioned it was my second time diving, but this time the instructor (Bandi) taught us how to operate the parachute during the fall and let us play freely (laughs). Also, before opening the parachute, perhaps because I was particularly excited, he allowed us to experience some intense movements that the previous instructor didn't do. It was amazing! I definitely want to participate again.

However, there was one issue... We were picked up at our hotel in Waikiki at 7:10 AM, and the four Japanese groups who came with us finished their dives around 10 AM, but the return vehicle didn't leave until 1 PM... During that time, there was nothing to do, and everyone was sleeping. The reason for the wait was that we were waiting for a foreign family who arrived much later to finish... I remember waiting for about three hours after finishing last time as well. If it weren't for this, I think it would have been even more enjoyable.

待っていた理由は、だいぶ後から来た外人家族の終わり待ちち・・・・。確か、前回も終わってから３時間程度何もやることがなく待っていた記憶があります。
これがなかったら、もっともっと楽しいと思います。

It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I participated with that thought in mind, and it was absolutely addictive!!!

Actually, I have a severe fear of heights, but from 14,000 feet, I felt no fear at all and was able to enjoy it without any stress. For those who are struggling with skydiving due to a fear of heights, I highly recommend giving it a try!

By the way, in my opinion, the bungee jump from the Macau Tower at 233 meters was scarier!!!

Lastly, the DVD was edited very nicely, making for a great keepsake!

Before it started, I was quite nervous. The instructor was friendly and cheerful, chatting to help ease my anxiety.
We took off in a Cessna, but it was quite cold up in the air.

While flying, it was hard to breathe, but once the parachute opened, I felt so good that I could sense the vastness of the Earth. The ocean and islands of Hawaii were incredibly beautiful. I was deeply moved.

This was the first time he rode alone, and he seemed to really enjoy it, even wanting to go again on the same day. Riding in the canyon must have been the best feeling for him. Next year, I plan to have him ride in the canyon plus by the seaside.

One of the highlights of this tour is that you can enjoy sightseeing along the highway on the way to North Shore, which was a lot of fun. At the end of the ride, the staff from Happy Trails take family photos, so it's definitely a good idea to bring a camera.

In any case, I can't miss this riding plan next year. It's a shame I can't convey how I feel about this experience.

The place was about an hour away from Honolulu but that wasn't problem. The website said to be there 30 min early and we were but the horse handlers said that wasn't neccessary. They were short handed and we ended up waiting more than an hour to ride but the place was majestic so we weren't bothered by the wait. The guides prepared us and were concerned about everyones safety. The ride was perfect. They guides were professional and took time to take our pictures while we were on the beach. I would do it again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii.. It was a great family experience.

My family and I enjoy horseback riding but this one was not up to par. I booked a private lesson and was told we would be able to do more with the horses beside just walking them and also would not be a nose to tail ride but that's exactly what it was. We were told many things but none were true. A couple of the horses did not like having another horse so close to it's tail so they would constantly kick backwards. You're only on the beach for a short time to cross to the dusty path were you spend most of the time until you cross back over the beach to go back to the club. Our guide was also an unpleasant women who never spoke unless it was to tell us what we were doing wrong. It was definetely not worth the money we spent and would not go back.

It was an hour of horseback riding, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. There was a Japanese video with instructions, so there were no issues at all. The staff were very considerate towards us, even though our English wasn't great, and we had a great time. My backside got a bit sore, and since we couldn't gallop the horse, an hour was just enough.

I've been to Hawaii many times, and last year I participated in a horseback riding course in the North. This time, my daughter, who became hooked on horseback riding, insisted that we join a two-hour horseback riding course at Kualoa Ranch.

Unlike the North, here we were truly able to enjoy horseback riding while being gently rocked on the horse's back amidst breathtaking scenery and magnificent nature. It was an emotional experience to see the filming locations of Jurassic Park and the familiar landscapes from Lost on the vast grounds.

We were a team of six, and our guide, who is a fifth-generation Japanese American, was fluent in both Japanese and English. They frequently came back and forth from the front to the back where we were, taking care of us and chatting, so we had no worries or complaints and really enjoyed ourselves.

ハワイは何度も来ていて、去年はノースの乗馬コースに参加しました。そのときに乗馬にはまった娘にせがまれて、今回はクアロア牧場での乗馬2時間コースに参加しました。
ノースと違って、こちらは息を呑むほどの美しい風景と壮大な自然の中を、まさにゆったりのんびり馬の背に揺られて、本当に乗馬を堪能することができました。広大な敷地にある、ジュラシックパークの撮影現場、ロストでの見覚えのある地形など、感動ものでした。
また、6人で1チームでしたが、案内役の方が日系5世で日本語も英語も流暢な上、先頭から一番後ろの私たちまで何度も何度も行き来をしてお世話やお話をしてくれたので何一つ不安も不満もなく、本当に楽しめました。
あっという間の2時間でした。息子は今回の旅行の中で一番楽しかったと喜んでいました。このツアーはお勧めです☆

My family (wife and 2 teenagers & I) did the bike and hike tour last week. Our excursion lead was Mateais and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and somewhat entertaining with his canned one liners that he's been working on for quite a while. The tour started with a bike ride (mostly downhill) in a very scenic neighborhood with great view of downtown and into the valley. The hilight of the tour was the hike into the rain forest. It was quite a kick being able to get lost so close to civilization on a path that not many people have been on. The hike was not strenuous and the rain forest definitly lived up to its name. Recommend you wear the rain boots they offer as its is very wet at times and muddy in parts. The path was scenic taking you through deep brish, through small streams, up to an isolated waterfall and then through a mile long stretch of a bamboo forest. Horseback riding has always been a really fun pastime for me, and I especially thought after seeing the ad on your site that this particular ride seemed different and unique. And it was!

The horses themselves are polo horses....and wow...are they beautiful. Very different from most ranch horses i have seen...and the ride itself...all I have ever been on have been on ranches along dusty trails or in the woods...THIS WAS ON THE BEACH...RIGHT BY THE WATER...IN HAWAII!! I honestly think I don't need to say anymore! On the beach...in Hawaii!

I choose this horsebackriding venue because of the website which stated they are not your typical trail ride. According to the ad we would not be riding nose to tail - that's exactly what we had to do--- also the ad stated we would be free to ride the horses to our ability-absolutely not, we were not allowed out of the line or to go faster than a walk or to go ahead of the guide-who was a most unpleasant woman. Also the beach part of the ride was very limited. The only high marks I give are to the horses!! They were not your typical trail horses. Overall I was disappointed, especially considering the high cost.

It was my first experience and I was very nervous, but as the instructor said, I was able to fly like a bird without feeling weightless. Falling from 4,200 meters at a speed of 200 km/h was thrilling. If you pay an additional fee (USD 188), a personal photographer will capture the entire experience from takeoff to landing on DVD and in about 100 photos. If you request something like "Please take a photo that captures the curvature of the Earth," they will likely accommodate that. Before flying, there is a few minutes of an image video and a brief lesson, but you will sign a contract stating that they are not responsible for any accidents, so the decision to participate is at your own risk. If you have any health concerns, it is recommended to see a doctor beforehand.

June 25, 2011: My first and probably last skydiving! I want to praise myself for doing well... Anyway, 1. Fear of heights doesn't really matter 2. There’s no G-force like on a roller coaster, and you don’t feel that floating sensation 3. The instructor is reliable, and you can experience it without any anxiety 4. The rapid descent changes the air pressure quickly, so your ears might hurt a bit 5. I think those who participated should definitely order the DVD 6. For those who haven't experienced it yet, those who are hesitating, and those who are unsure, I highly recommend participating (please consider the risks carefully). In December, I'm going to Hawaii with my husband, and he has also expressed his intention to participate, lol. It was so much fun!! Thank you to all the instructors!!

We took the two hour tour around the amazingly beautiful valley. The tour was in a pleasant pace, yet spicet up with some mud and water. We saw scenes from different movies and shows, ex Godzilla and Lost. Worth doing to fully take in the beauty of the valley and experience the old scenes.

We participated as a couple.
Both of us had a great time.

The view from above was very beautiful.
The sensation of being hit by the wind during free fall, which is hard to experience elsewhere, was incredibly refreshing.

We purchased the photos and DVD.
It will be a wonderful memory.
