The Dole Plantation, Turtle Beach, Haleiwa Town, and horseback riding along the coast made for a very packed itinerary. I also enjoyed the experience of cracking open and eating fresh macadamia nuts at the macadamia nut farm, which you mentioned could only be visited when there was time. I wish we could have spent a bit more time in Haleiwa Town, as we only had time for lunch. I would have liked to have extended the time, even if it meant starting our meeting a bit earlier! Horseback riding by the sea was very pleasant, and I’m glad I participated.

It was my first skydiving experience. There were explanations and consent forms in Japanese, so I had no anxiety at all. The tandem crew member was a cheerful and handsome guy. He eased my pre-jump jitters, but still provided thorough explanations and preparations, so I wasn't scared.

We ascended in a Cessna above the clouds, and the view of the beaches in Hawaii from there was amazing. Since the tandem instructor jumps with you, there’s no chance of being too scared to jump, and before I knew it, I was falling through the sky. As we descended over the ocean, it was just beautiful, and all my stress disappeared.

Once we were in parachute mode, we glided around, and the instructor kept it fun.

There’s a shuttle service from the hotel in Waikiki, which makes it very convenient. We gathered at the hotel at 10:05, and it took about an hour by car to get to the airfield near the beaches on the north side of Hawaii. I stored all my belongings in a $1 locker (four quarters; there’s a change machine), and the waiting time was about 30 minutes. After getting on the Cessna, we jumped down in about 30 minutes, and then waited about 30 minutes to an hour for the bus to depart. I returned to the hotel around 14:30 to 15:00.

For tips, I gave the shuttle driver $10 each way per person. For the tandem crew member, I wrote my name and put the tip in a bag to drop in the box, which was over $20.

Including tips, it was a total of $200, and this experience was a great value! I definitely want to do it again the next time I go to Hawaii. I highly recommend it.

By the way, the free Wi-Fi router provided had poor connectivity. Since it was free, I can't complain too much. I rented a paid Wi-Fi in Japan and shared the cost with a friend.

ワイキキのホテルから送迎があるのでとてもラクチンです。
10:05ホテルに集合して、ハワイ北側のビーチ近くの飛行場まで、車で1時間くらいです。
1ドルロッカー(クオーターコイン×4。両替機あり)に荷物を全て預けて、待ち時間30分くらいでした。
セスナ機乗ってから30分で降りて来てバス発車まで30分〜1時間くらい待ち、ホテルに戻ったのは大体14:30〜15:00くらいでした。

チップは送迎の運転手に往復1人10ドルずつ。
タンデムクルーのお兄さんには名前を書いて袋にチップを入れてポストに入れます。20ドル以上。

全部でチップいれて200ドルで、この体験はコスパ最高です！また次にハワイ行くときも必ずやりたいと思ってます。オススメです。

ちなみに無料特典のwifiルーターは接続はあまり良くなかったです。無料なので仕方ないです。
日本で有料のwifi借りて、友人と割り勘して使いました。

On the second day of our stay in Hawaii, my spouse and I participated in this optional tour. At first, we were looking at various tours that would take us to many places, but since we didn't want to feel rushed (though we were a bit anxious since it was our first time), we decided on this free time plan to leisurely stroll through the streets.

That was the right choice! After visiting Dole's and Turtle Beach, we had about three hours of free time. We were able to explore the town from one end to the other, taking breaks along the way. Our driver, Tsugawa (I apologize if I got the name wrong!), was very kind and drove us to Macky's, which was a bit away from the meeting point. He helped us with ordering the garlic shrimp and provided wet wipes, making us feel comfortable during the tour.

Initially, I was worried about the weather, but it turned out to be sunny without any issues. I would have given it five stars, but since we couldn't see the sea turtles basking (they were peeking out of the water), I’m giving it four stars this time, hoping to see them basking next time!

これが正解♪ドールズ、海亀ビーチに行った後は３時間程のフリータイム。町の端から端までゆっくりと休憩を挟みながら散策することができました(^-^)ドライバーのツガワさん(名前間違っていたらすみません‼)はとても優しい方で、待ち合わせ場所から少し離れた場所にあるマッキーズまで車で連れていってくれて、ガーリックシュリンプの注文や案内、ウェットティッシュを持ってきてくださったりと安心してツアーに参加する事が出来ました(^-^)初め心配だった天気も問題なく晴天で、本当は☆５つなのですが、海亀さんの甲羅干しが見れなかったので(海から顔は出していましたｗ)次回甲羅干しを見れる様期待を込めて☆４つで!

I went to Hawaii for the first time, combining it with our honeymoon.

We stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. For transportation to Kualoa Ranch, we used TheBus. We took the bus around 6:30 AM and transferred near Ala Moana (make sure to get a transfer ticket from the driver when you board), and the journey took about an hour and a half. The bus was quite cold, so it's necessary to prepare a jacket. The bus stop near Kualoa Ranch faced the ocean and was very beautiful.

Once inside the park, there is a shop and cafeteria, and after passing through there, we checked in. The explanation was in English, but we received materials in Japanese, so it was manageable. Lockers are available for free only for zipline participants.

We gathered at the designated spot and departed around 9:15 AM. We took a bus for about 15 minutes to the zipline location. During the ride, the guide introduced tourist spots in English.

When we arrived at the zipline station, we stored our bags in lockers, received a harness explanation, put on the harness, and got instructions in English until we were ready to go.

Since the guides and participants were all English speakers, it might be a bit tough if you don't have language skills... However, you'll manage as you go along.

The course includes a total of seven types of ziplines, two suspension bridges, and a short hike (about two minutes at most). A white couple over 60 was doing it effortlessly, so it might be okay even if you're not very fit. During the zipline, there are cameras set up to take photos, which you can purchase later (one photo for $15, three for $35, or all for $50). The experience was incredibly thrilling, with a sense of unity with nature and a feeling of liberation. If you have language skills, I think you can enhance your connection with the guides and participants even more. It might just be a coincidence, but everyone seemed to enjoy joking around.

After the zipline, we returned to the station to take off the harness, purchase photos, and retrieve our belongings. We then took a different route back by bus, so we could enjoy the scenery from the windows without getting bored.

We returned around noon and had lunch at the cafeteria in the main building. The portion sizes were smaller than expected compared to other places.

The return bus was significantly delayed, and we waited for nearly an hour. Since it was during the day, it was full, and we couldn't find seats. I wouldn't recommend using TheBus for families with small children or those with mobility issues.

If you're not good at English at all, it might be a bit tough, but I think it's manageable if you have a proactive attitude toward solving problems.

ガイド、参加者は英語圏の方ばかりですので、語力が無いとちょっときついかも…しかし、やっている内に何とかなります。

コースは、全7種のジップラインに加え、2箇所の吊り橋、道中の登山（長くて2分程度）となります。
60歳を超えた白人夫婦が悠々と出来てたので、体力が無くても大丈夫かも。
ジップライン中、設置されたカメラで撮影があり、後ほど購入することができます。（１枚$15、３枚$35、全て$50）
内容は、凄い刺激的で自然との一体感、開放感があり楽しめました。
語力があれば、ガイド、参加者と一体感を更に高めることが出来ると思います。たまたまかもしれませんが、皆さん、冗談が好きなようで。

ジップラインが終われば、詰所に戻りハーネス脱着、写真購入、荷物受け取りとなり、その後バスで戻りますが、行きと経路を変えてくれるので、車窓からの景色も飽きず楽しめます。

変えて12時頃戻り、最初建物の食堂でランチをしました。思ったより他店より量は少なめでした。

帰りのバスは、遅れが凄く1時間近く待ちました。日中ということもあり、満席で座ることができませんでした。小さなお子さんや脚が悪い方は、TheBusの使用は勧めません。

全く英語がダメな方はちょっときついかもしれませんが、積極的に解決する姿勢であれば問題ないと思います。

Skydiving was something I had always wanted to try, and being able to do it in Hawaii felt like a dream! However, the wait time was a bit long, so I dozed off while waiting. When my name was called, there was a briefing about the position in the air, and I boarded a small plane with an enthusiastic instructor. I had to straddle something like a long bench and take off backward, which made me a little nervous thinking about falling! I didn't feel scared at all while on the ground, but when it was finally my turn, I felt a fear I had never experienced before in the few seconds before taking off. (laughs) From the moment we took off until the parachute opened, it was a strange sensation, and once the parachute opened, I enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the air while taking in the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. I am filled with gratitude for my parents who made this wonderful experience possible.

It's early in the morning, and we drive for an hour on the highway. Along the way, we are given a form to fill out, but it has seven pages, and I get really car sick (laughs). Horseback riding can be enjoyed all over the world, and I make sure to experience it wherever I travel. While most clubs typically offer just a basic riding experience, this one responded to our requests and allowed us to canter.

We chose the standard 60-minute course with our guide and the two of us, making a total of three people. At one point, my husband, who has only ridden three times, expressed his desire to try running a bit! The guide happily agreed and took us cantering through the hilly forest right away. After that, we cantered in a wide highland, enjoying an incredible riding experience that you can't find at other tourist riding clubs.

Since we cantered, we ended up with some extra time, so they took a longer route back, and the scenery along the way was absolutely stunning.

Not only was I thrilled that we could canter, but I was also impressed by how incredibly well-trained the horses were. I think many horses at riding clubs often disregard their riders, but the horses here were very responsive! With just a light touch of my legs, they would transition from a walk to a canter!

If you go to Hawaii, you definitely should stop by this place! The donkey was also super cute! The girl who took photos for us captured wonderful pictures, so I think it's a great idea to buy some as souvenirs!

ガイドさんと私達２名、計３名で通常の６０分コースを選択。
途中、３度しか乗馬経験のない主人が少し走ってみたい！とリクエストしたところ、ガイドの女の子は清くＯＫしてくれ起伏のある森の中をすぐに駈足してくれました。
その後も広い高原に出て駈足をしたり、他の観光乗馬クラブでは体験出来ないような素晴らしい乗馬をさせて頂きました。

駈足をしたせいで時間が余ってしまったということで、遠回りをして帰ってくれたのですがその途中の景色がとても素晴らしかったです。

今回駈足ができたこともさることながら、馬が驚くほど素晴らしく調教されていることに感動しました。どこの乗馬クラブの馬も大抵乗り役を馬鹿にして反応しないことが多いと思いますが、こちらのお馬さんはとっっっても反応が良いです！！足が触れるくらいの扶助で並足→駈足が出ます！

ハワイに行ったら絶対立ち寄って欲しいです♪
ロバもとっても可愛かった～♪
カメラマンの女の子が素晴らしい写真を撮ってくれるので思い出に買うのも良いと思います！

I went skydiving for the first time in Guam and had an amazing time, so I decided to jump again on this trip. After reading various experiences, I was prepared for a long wait, so I brought a paperback book with me.

First, I was picked up at the hotel and rode the bus for about an hour to the skydiving company (it's located in the North Shore area). On the bus, I had to fill out a lot of contracts, writing my initials repeatedly, which was quite tedious (typical of the lawsuit-happy United States!). Then, we watched a video about the safety instructions for the dive.

Upon arriving at the company, everything was explained in English, including the process, and I submitted the contracts and my ID for registration. After that, the instructor briefly went over the safety instructions we had seen in the video, all in English (it was really a simple explanation).

There was only one group ahead of ours, but the weather was great on the day I participated, with almost no wind, so we were able to get ready and jump right away.

The weather was beautiful, and the sky and sea in Hawaii were incredibly clear!!! It might have been clearer than in Guam. Since we jumped around 7 AM, it was much more beautiful than during the day. The view was breathtaking!!!

However, there were two things that I found puzzling.

First, despite paying a high price, they also asked for a tip. By the way, tipping wasn't required in Guam.

Second, when diving, a photographer jumps with you. However, some instructors wear wrist cameras. If you get one of those instructors, they will take photos up close and capture everything from start to finish. If the instructor doesn't have a wrist camera, the photographer will take pictures from the outside, which means they only capture the moments when you start jumping, during free fall, and when you land. I had the outside shooting.

After the dive, you can decide whether to buy the footage. You can choose just photos, just videos, or a combo, which is flexible. What surprised me was that the wrist camera option, which definitely takes better pictures, was cheaper than the outside shots! Why??? The outside images were rough, yet they were more expensive! The price for the combo was $230!!! I was shocked. The wrist camera combo was around $170. Either way, I thought it was expensive! I bought a CDR in Guam for about 5000 yen with beautiful images.

I hesitated about whether to buy the footage, but I decided to get it as a memory... How much are they trying to charge? It's just a USB with the images on it...

The dive itself was fantastic, but everything else felt a bit off.

催行会社に到着すると、簡単に流れ的な事を全て英語で説明されて、バスで書いた契約書と身分証明書を提出して受付します。
その後はバスの中で見たビデオの注意事項を再度インストラクターの人が簡単に教えてくれます。これも全部英語です。(ホントに簡単な説明です)

私達のバスのグループの前に一組だけグループがいましたが、私が参加した日は、天候も良く、風もほぼなかったので、即スタンバイして飛ぶ事が出来ました。

天気も良かったので、ハワイの空と海がめちゃくちゃキレイでした！！！グアムよりキレかったかも。
そして朝7時頃に飛んだので、昼間より何倍もキレイでした。最高の景色でした！！！

しかし、私的に？？？と思った事が2つ。
1つは高いお金払ってるのに、その上にチップを請求されます。ちなみにグアムではチップは要りませんでした。
２つ目はダイブする時にカメラマンも一緒に飛びます。でもインストラクターによって、リストカメラを付けている人もいます。
その人に当たれば間近で写真を撮ってくれるし、最初から最後まで撮ってくれます。リストカメラを付けていないインストラクターだと、一緒に飛ぶカメラマンが撮ってくれますが、アウトサイドからの撮影になるので飛び始め、フリーフォールの間、着地した時だけの撮影になります。
ちなみに私はアウトサイドからの撮影でした。
ダイブが終わった後、撮影した映像を見て買うか買わないか決めれます。
写真だけでもいいし、動画だけでもいいし、コンボで買ってもいいし、これも自由に選べます。ここでびっくりしたのが、リストカメラの方が確実にキレイに撮れているのにアウトサイドからの撮影の方が高いんです！！！！何で？？？
アウトサイドからの画像は雑です。なのに高い！！
雑な画像なくせにかなりのお値段です。コンボで230ドル！！！！びっくりですよ。
リストカメラの方はコンボで170ドルだったかなぁ。どっちにしても高っ！！！！って思いました。
グアムでもCDRを買いましたがキレイな画像で5000円くらいだったと思います。
買うかどうか迷いましたが、一応思い出と言うことで買いましたが。。。。
どんだけぼったくるんでしょう？たかがUSBに画像を入れてくれるだけなのに。。。

ダイブは最高でしたが、その他諸々は？？？って感じでした。

It was much more than we expected...the views, the weather, the scenery and the horses were all above par! I would recommend this for anyone. Don't let the casual appearance at check in worry you...it's all part of the charm.

I checked out using the tablet at the reception.
Including ourselves, there were three groups of nine people and three instructors.
Everything was explained in English, but they also used gestures, so it was enjoyable.

Also, it might be a bit pricey at $15 for one photo and $30 for three (laughs).
Purchasing is optional, so if you find something you like, definitely go for it.

My first skydiving experience was a bit worrisome because it was raining in the morning, but by around 9 AM, the skies cleared up and I started to see blue skies. By the time I jumped, it was the best condition with a rainbow appearing. It's really wonderful to see a rainbow from above the clouds.

Meeting at 5 AM was a bit tough, but it was worth it to get up early.

When we arrived, we received an explanation, but there were no Japanese-speaking staff, so the explanation ended without much understanding. Later, I managed to find a Japanese-speaking grandfather who was with another group and asked him for a full explanation from the beginning.

Upon arrival, we were prompted to store our belongings in lockers, but since there’s no guarantee that you can jump right away, I recommend keeping your belongings with you until your name is called.

The photos were quite pricey, as everyone mentioned, but I’m glad I got them. You can choose between having a photographer jump with you or using a self-camera.

付いたらロッカーに荷物を預けるように促されるのですが、すぐに飛べる保証がないので名前を呼ばれるまで荷物は各自で持っておくことをお勧めします。

写真も皆さん行っていた通りとてもいい値段でしたがつけてよかったです。写真はカメラマンをつけて一緒に飛ぶのとセルフカメラと2種類選べます

Last time, I went diving in Guam and then in Hawaii. Due to the pickup arrangements, it took a bit too long; the pickup was at 5 AM, and we returned to the hotel around 1 PM. The diving was fun, but there was a difference in the instructors. (Well, I guess that's just human nature, haha.) I felt that the older instructor had a better sense of service. There was a Japanese-speaking driver present from start to finish, so there were no language issues.

Our Transportation to Diamond Head was waiting for us as we exited the hotel about 5 minutes early. He was very nice and professional. He gave us good information about Diamond Head's history and the hiking trail. He returned, as promised, to pick us up and take us to Manoa Falls. Again he was very interesting and gave us info about the rain forest and the hike. Providing water and a hiking pole was very appreciated, and helpful. The company was very reliable, friendly and informative. We are in our 60's and were able to do both hikes in the same day.

It was the best experience! Just before taking off, there was no time to be scared, we just went for it. The view was breathtaking!!

In the first half, my mouth got extremely dry from the wind, and it was tough to keep it closed. (laughs)

I don't speak much Japanese, but I managed somehow. I hired a professional photographer for the photos. Each person gets one. It was definitely worth it. I bought both the video and photos, so it was a bit pricey, but it became a lifelong memory!

It was an incredible experience, truly the best time ever! The sense of achievement and the beautiful scenery provided emotions that you can't experience in everyday life! I absolutely want to do it again!

I thought I might be nervous, but before I knew it, I was in the air... For those who have thought about trying skydiving at least once in their lifetime, I want you to experience this excitement right away!

I also signed up after reading reviews, and the reviews here are spot on! If you're hesitating, you should definitely go for it! You will be moved, without a doubt!

I believe my first skydiving experience in Hawaii was the right choice! You can see beautiful views from angles that you can't see from the ground!

Well, if I had to say one thing, when the parachute opens and you descend while enjoying the view, it can be a bit wobbly. If you tend to get motion sickness, taking motion sickness medication will ensure you enjoy it 100%! I sometimes get motion sickness, so I took the medication before jumping. Thanks to that, I enjoyed it 120%!

I will definitely do it again when I go to Hawaii next time! That's how much I recommend it!

Dole Plantation, lunch in the town of North Shore, and horseback riding were all very enjoyable. Fortunately, we were also able to see sea turtles, so I think it was a good tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable and recommended a garlic shrimp place (Camarón) for lunch, but the dining area behind the restaurant was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The portion sizes seemed a bit small for Hawaii. I slightly regret that Macky's might have been a better choice than Camarón to feel the essence of Hawaii. Other than that, I was completely satisfied.

We all had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the island, plants and the culture of Oahu with Terry. We highly recommend the trip. It is a rustic hike to the beautiful waterfall, but very worth the hike, even in the rain and mud And our bike ride down the mountain had gorgeous scenery and was wind through your hair fun. We saw several sea turtles and different varieties of fish on the sail and snorkel on Captain Krash's catamaran. He was fun to sail with and Rudolph was very knowledgeable about the snorkeling as well as giving helpful knowledge about the island and city.

This was a very nice birthday surprise from my wife. I've never gone horseback riding and my wife booked us a family tour and it was GREAT! I was scared at first because I've never rode a horse before, but our Ranglers Tate and Jayden were superb on showing us how to do everything! Tate and Jayden were outstanding. I would definitely ride again with them. They ensured our safety at all times which was a huge plus for me. The ride was amazing, relaxing, beautiful and calming. I could not have asked for a better birthday gift. Not only was the ride great but we all learned some things about horses. Our horses were great also! Def one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii! We really had an Awesome time!

After the parachute opened, normally you descend while making sharp turns (otherwise, you won't come down), but I told the instructor that I get motion sickness and dislike spinning around, so they took their time and descended slowly. I was glad to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. I returned to the hotel in Waikiki after 10 o'clock.
