At first, flying without windows was really scary, but once I got on, it was stable and not as bad as I thought. There were two people in the front seats, and with the pilot, there were three of us. The pilot was friendly and provided excellent service, chatting a lot and explaining each view. Of course, it was through the intercom due to the noise and wind. Since I live in the continental United States, I was fine, but it might be a bit tough for shy people.

The pilot was very enthusiastic, so while flying over Waikiki Beach, we lay down and made steep descents and figure-eights, getting a good view of the beachgoers. That was quite thrilling. After that, we flew over most of the tourist spots and got close to waterfalls in the mountains that can only be accessed by helicopter, as well as slopes without any paths. It was definitely a sight that can only be seen from a helicopter.

At the end, we circled right above Honolulu Airport, which was great because seeing passenger planes taxiing just below us is something you don’t get to experience often. The planes were so close; it felt like we were flying a bit too close right above the airport. It was an incredibly memorable sightseeing flight, and I absolutely recommend it.

その後おおかたの観光拠点を飛び、ヘリでしか近づけない山の中にある滝とか道のない山の斜面に近づいたり、絶対ヘリでしか見れない光景でした。
最後ホノルル空港の真上を旋回して飛んでたので、滑走路に進んでる旅客機をすぐ上から見る光景もなかなかできないので良かったです。飛行機が近い近い。ちょっと寄りすぎでいいのかなと思うくらいの空港のすぐ上飛んでました。
めちゃくちゃ思い出になる遊覧飛行で絶対お勧めですね。

The ride was good. None of us have ever ridden a horse on the beach, so it was a new experience. I haven't spent more than 20 minutes on a horse before this, more than a decade ago, so it was almost all new to me. We liked how the leader stopped us on the beach and took nice photos of us to remember the ride. The reason I didn't give a perfect score was that I think the leader of the ride needed to be more aware of the riding skill of the people she was leading and give advice on how to improve instead of just telling us what not to do.

Toshi, our driver guide, was a kind and fun person. On the day of the tour, there were a total of 10 people picked up from three different hotels, and we were able to leave each hotel ahead of schedule, which made for a very pleasant start to the tour.

Although the weather was a bit bad, we were able to enjoy horseback riding and had a great day. I felt that the horseback riding was a bit more active and enjoyable than at Kualoa. My husband had his first horseback riding experience, and he seemed to really enjoy it, saying he wanted to ride again after we finished.

We couldn't see the turtles in Haleiwa, as it seems there is a specific season for that, but I recommend checking the timing if you're looking forward to seeing them. (You can gauge the chances of seeing them based on the guide's comments, haha.) For lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed garlic shrimp and huli huli chicken and were very satisfied.

It's not often that you can ride for two hours, so I signed up without hesitation! We moved forward in a single line with a small group, and I was at the front. The horse is smart and remembers the course. I was so excited, thinking "Ah, this is the best!" but after about an hour, I started to feel a bit tired from enjoying it so much. We made our way back after an hour and a half. Riding really feels great.

It was very good, but the English explanation was only for the foreign guests coming behind us. Maybe they thought we wouldn't understand? Even if I didn't understand everything, I could pick up some words. That was a bit disappointing.

We went on our honeymoon with another foreign couple. It was unfortunately rainy, but the guide contacted us early and suggested we dress in clothes that could get muddy, so I participated in shorts, a T-shirt, and comfortable sandals. I got completely muddy, and it felt great! (^ ^) The guide provided fun explanations in both English and Japanese while we walked, and also shared recommendations for shops and culture, which was really wonderful! Since it was in the mountains, I thought the sunlight would be strong, so I applied plenty of sunscreen and wore long sleeves. However, my arms, nose, and cheeks, which were exposed when I rolled up my sleeves a bit, got sunburned bright red.
The staff wore helmets over hats with brims, so if you're concerned about sunburn, I think it's a good idea to do the same.
The price is high, but everything in Hawaii tends to be on the expensive side, so it can't be helped.

I wanted to go on a buggy ride (I had been on a tour before and this time I just wanted to do the buggy), so I chose this affordable plan. However, I was worried about having to gather at the meeting point. Taking a taxi would require a lot of money, and I was scared to drive a rental car (I have no experience with left-hand drive and driving on the right side), so I was unsure what to do. I found out online that I could also take The Bus, so I decided to give it a try.

The Bus costs $2.75 one way, but a day pass is $5.50, so considering the return trip, it’s better to buy the day pass for peace of mind (you won’t have to worry if you make a mistake! You can also stop for a restroom break or shopping!). You just need to hand cash to the driver when you get on the bus and say something like, “One day, please.” I don’t think tipping is necessary.

The Bus to Kualoa Ranch departs from the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The number is 55. The starting point is on the mountain side, but it also goes by the ocean side bus stop, so either way is fine. The ocean side bus stop requires a short walk towards the airport (opposite of Waikiki) from the trolley stop.

It takes about an hour to arrive. There’s an electronic display board at the front of the bus, similar to Japanese buses, where you can check the destination. After passing through the visitor center, there’s a ticket office, and suddenly, a local staff member who speaks Japanese will start explaining things (not at the ticket office, but further back in a grassy area). If you’re unsure, it’s quickest to ask any staff member if there’s someone who speaks Japanese.

In any case, you will need to show your voucher at the ticket office to receive your buggy ticket. After getting the ticket, go to the buggy check-in (marked as ATV) about 10 minutes before it starts, where you’ll be asked to sign a document stating you won’t complain if you get injured. After signing, you’ll be guided to a small hut where you can watch a Japanese explanation video. After that, you’ll put on a helmet (available in sizes S, M, L) and large transparent glasses for allergies before getting on the buggy.

They will take photos along the way, which you can buy at the end for $15. 大体1時間くらいで着きます。バスの前方に日本のバスみたいな電光掲示板があり、行き先を確認することができます。クアロアランチのバス停の前からクアロア○○というのが続きます。Kamehameha Hwy（カメハメハハイウェイ）ーKualoa Maintenance→Kualoa Resional Park→Kualoa Ranchの順で止まります。Stop Request（停止ボタン、もしくは縄みたいなのを引く）は日本より早めに押します。Resional Parkが過ぎたあたりで電光掲示板にKualoa Ranchが出なくても押した方が無難です。ただ、他にも降りる人がいると思うので、そこまで気にしなくても良いかもしれません。寝過ごさないように注意が必要です。
あと、バスの中はとても寒いので、寒さに弱い人は注意が必要です。
集合場所については、特に指定もありませんでした。ビジターセンターを抜けるとチケットオフィスがあり、気がついたら突然日本語を話せる現地のスタッフの説明が始まります（チケットオフィスではなく、さらに奥の原っぱみたいな所です）。分からなければ、まずは誰でも良いので日本語のスタッフがいないか、そこの辺にいるスタッフに聞くのが早いです。
ただ、いずれにしても、チケットオフィスでバウチャーを見せて、バギーのチケットをもらうことには変わりはありません。チケットをもらったら、始まる10分前にバギーの受付(ATVと書いてあります）に行くと、まずは怪我しても文句を言いません的な書類にサインをしろと言われます。そこにサインをすると次に日本語の説明ビデオを見れるような小屋に案内され、ビデオが流れます。それを見てから、その小屋内にあるヘルメット（サイズはS、M、Lなど）、花粉症用みたいな透明、大きめのメガネをつけてバギーに乗ります。それ以降は他の体験談と同じなので割愛します。なるようになります。色々な人がおり、運転が下手な人もいるため、すごいゆっくりになることもあります。その辺の覚悟、広い心は必要です。速く走ることや前の人について行こうと頑張るよりは、安全かつ周りの景色を楽しみながら行くのがコツと思います。
結構凸凹してますので、コースアウトしないことや前の人にぶつからないように注意して楽しむのが良いと思います。
途中で写真を撮られ、それは最後に15ドルで売ってます。でも自分で持ってきたカメラでも写真を撮ってくれますので（もちろんタダ）、自分たちのカメラで撮れれば必要ないと思います。

It was my first horseback riding experience, and I decided to go for the 2-hour course based on everyone's reviews (＾Ｏ＾). To be honest, my butt got really sore, haha. At the beginning, they showed a Japanese explanation video, but during the experience, I managed with English and gestures. After a while of walking through the mountains, we caught sight of the ocean, entered the ranch, passed by the filming location of Jurassic Park, and occasionally crossed rivers and sped up. It was quite a fulfilling 2 hours!!

This was my second time participating! The one-hour course was sufficient. You can enjoy both mountain and ocean views while horseback riding. If you just want to ride and save time, I recommend choosing a course without transportation and renting a car. It takes just under two hours by bus from Waikiki, and a round trip by taxi costs around 8,000 yen, as told by a taxi driver in Waikiki. If you choose the course with transportation, you'll have to wait about two hours inside Kualoa after the ride ends. There are animals like horses, chickens, goats, tortoises, donkeys, cows, and cats, so watching them helped pass about 30 minutes of the one-hour wait before riding. There are also some souvenirs for sale and a convenience store. There are coin lockers available for $5, so you can safely store your valuables. It was okay to have a camera and smartphone hanging around your neck while riding. Regarding horseback riding, my husband got a pressure sore, and I also experienced pain in my tailbone, so I think those taking the two-hour course should be careful about their seating position!

2回目の参加！1時間コースでしたが十分でした。山と海どっちもの景色を乗馬しながら楽しめます。乗馬だけしたい方で時間の節約をしたい方は送迎なしのコースにしてレンタカーがおすすめです。ワイキキからバスだと2時間弱、タクシーだと往復で確か8000円近くするとワイキキのタクシーの運転手さんに言われました。乗馬だけで送迎ありにすると乗馬が終わってから2時間くらいクアロア内でまちぼうけになります。馬、鶏、やぎ、リクガメ、ロバ、牛、猫などいるので動物を見てると乗馬前の待ち時間1時間のうち30分くらいは暇つぶしになりました。ちょっとしたお土産も売っていますしコンビニもあります。コインロッカーが5ドルであるので貴重品も安心して預けれます。乗馬の時首からかけたカメラとスマホはOKでした。
乗馬に関しては、旦那は床ずれができ、私も尾てい骨が痛くなったので、2時間コースの方は座り方に気を付けた方がいいと思います！

Beautiful hike. Tour guide Jody was informative. Bring repellent, I didn’t even realize I got a few bites! It can get messy if it rains, muddy shoes. There’s so many people, a tour guide is not really needed but the transportation there and back was nice. Also, this was my first hike and also my mother in laws, we did really well. Totally worth it. Lunch was also very good, first time trying vegan food, it was surprisingly filling.

I thought it was a cruiser around 11.5 to 12 meters, but it was just under 7 meters. I expected to have a bit of a serious fishing experience, but I ended up not even touching the fishing rod. The family of three that came with us put their catch back on the floor of the boat, and there was a smell; it was pretty bad. Next time, I hope they create a more advanced and serious tour. My first trip to Hawaii and the first option tour!
It was great that the driver was Japanese, and I could hear various stories.
At Dole, the pineapple and soft serve were quite substantial, but they were very delicious.
After that, we went to the beach to see sea turtles, but unfortunately, the turtles didn't show up. My wife was very disappointed, but we caught a glimpse of one while driving.
In North Shore, we had lunch and did some light shopping (we could have used a bit more time).
Finally, it was time for horseback riding. My horse was quite well-behaved, but my wife's horse was a bit stubborn?! We struggled a bit, but the sea breeze along the coast felt really nice.
On the way back, thanks to the driver's suggestion, we stopped by a nut farm, which was also delicious.

Initially, I had signed up for another zipline, but it was fully booked on all days, so I registered for this one instead. In the end, I was glad I chose Keana Farm!!

We were picked up and traveled for about an hour and a half to Keana Farm with around 12 to 15 people. Besides the two of us, everyone else was foreign! The driver talked a lot during the ride, but since it was all in English, I didn’t understand much (^_^;) When the participants started introducing themselves, we could only give a brief introduction since we couldn’t speak English. I thought it would have been more fun if we could speak English, but experiencing the overseas atmosphere was enjoyable in its own way!

Upon arriving at Keana Farm, we stored our valuables in a free locker with a lock. Large luggage was taken care of at the reception. We checked in one by one using a tablet on the wall, got fitted with the equipment, and then it was time to depart!

There was an instructor who could speak a little Japanese, and they were in charge of our group! So, there were no issues during the zipline.

There is a mini practice zipline near the reception where we practiced once before hopping on a buggy to climb the mountain. We zoomed along a narrow, bumpy mountain road in the buggy! It was fun♪

From there, we did several ziplines while making our way back. I was a bit nervous about letting go on the first zipline, but after that, I got used to it. It was so much fun! It was fast and exhilarating!! There were suspension bridges between ziplines, and we went down and up with ropes… we enjoyed a variety of activities!

After reading everyone’s reviews, I was anxious about whether I could climb up with the rope. At first, I was using my own strength to climb, but halfway through, my arms got tired and I couldn’t go up anymore (laughs). But it was okay!! In that case, the instructor helped us, so there was no problem at all♡

The weather was bad and it was raining, but it stopped partway through, and it was sunny for the last 15 minutes! I overslept that morning and forgot sunscreen… and even though it was only sunny for 15 minutes, I got sunburned (laughs). My face and neck got burned (laughs), and my neck turned red and was stinging throughout the trip.

I had such a great time this time that I want to participate in ziplining again!♡

ケアナファームへ到着して貴重品は鍵付き(無料)ロッカーへ。大きな荷物は受付で預かってくれます。壁についてるタブレットで1人ずつ受付して、器具を装着してくれあとは出発するのみ！

日本語を少し喋れるインストラクターの方がいてその方が私たちのグループ担当になってくれました！なのでジップライン中は何も問題なかったです。

ジップラインはまず受付近くのところに練習用のミニサイズのジップラインがあります。それで1回練習してからバギーに乗って山を登っていきます。細いガタガタした山道をバギーで爆走！楽しいです♪

そこから何本ものジップラインをしながらまた戻ってくる感じでした。最初の1本目だけ足を離すのにちょっとドキドキしましたが、あとは慣れます。とっても楽しい！速いし気持ちいい！！
ジップラインとジップラインの間に吊り橋があったり真下に降りたりロープで上にあがったり…色んな事をしながらでより楽しめました♡

皆さんの口コミを読んで、ロープで上にあがれるのか不安で不安で…。最初は自分の力で上がってましたが途中から腕が疲れ上がれなくなり(笑)けど大丈夫です！！その場合はインストラクターの方が手助けしてくれるので全然問題なかったです♡

天気が悪くて雨が降っていましたが途中から止んで最後15分ぐらいは晴れました〜！
朝寝坊したため日焼け止めを忘れてしまい…たった15分晴れていただけなのに焼けました(笑)顔も首も焼けます(笑)首は赤くなり旅行中ずっとヒリヒリしてました。

今回かなり楽しかったのでまたジップライン参加したいです♡
