From the pickup location, we took a bus to board at Honolulu Harbor, where the captain welcomed us. If you look up a little, you can see other cruise ships and planes in the sky (these are passenger planes from Honolulu Airport). As we departed the resort, we headed towards Waikiki while passing container ships, resort ships, and Coast Guard vessels. Just this alone gives you a feeling of being on a sightseeing cruise.

From here, we went to a point where whales are known to be, waiting for them to surface for air. I didn't know this myself, but whales don't stay at the surface all the time, and they don't go to various places just to be found. We went out to the side of the boat and searched for whales. But don't worry! When a whale appears, they announce it over the loudspeaker in a clockwise direction. It's okay if you're not good at English. People will quickly move to the right or left. Once a whale dives, it won't surface for more than 20 minutes, so even if you see one, you might not see it multiple times. I was lucky enough to see them twice this time. However, there is a law called the 100-yard rule (keeping a distance of over 100 yards from the whales), so you can't see them up close. When I saw them the second time, one happened to surface right next to the boat, making it look huge. (In this case, the rule is to turn off the engine to avoid harming the whale.) You won't necessarily see them every time. It's best to book on a sunny day according to Hawaii's weather forecast.

ザ リゾート 出港すると コンテナ船 リゾート船 コートガードの船見ながら ワイキキ沖を目指します。これだけでも遊覧船気分です。ここからクジラのいるポイントに行き クジラが息継ぎで 海面に現れるをまちます。私自身知らなかったのですが クジラはずっと海面居るわけではなく クジラを追い求めて色々な場所に 行くわけでは ありません。船の側舷に出て ひたすら クジラを探します。でも 心配しないでください。クジラが現れると時計回りの方向を館内放送してくれます。英語が苦手でも大丈夫です。人が一気に右や左に移動します。１度潜ると20分以上 浮上しないため クジラに会えても 何回も見られ訳ではありません。私は今回 2回会えました。ただ 法律で １００ヤードルールがあるらしく(クジラとの距離を100ヤード以上離す)間近で見られ訳ではありません。２回目合えた時 たまたま 船の直ぐ側に浮上したため 大きく見えました。(この場合 クジラを傷つけないようにエンジンを切るのがルールらしい) 毎回 必ず見られる訳ではありません。ハワイの天気予報晴れの日に予約必要です。

As we boarded the boat and set off, we spotted dolphins swimming in the distance. I was excitedly wondering if we would see a whale next! I gazed out at the sea, but it took a while for one to appear. While enjoying a different view of the streets of Waikiki and Diamond Head, we floated on the water... and then, could it be a whale?! I noticed a splash of water rising up. And finally, a whale jumped high out of the water!!

I want to see it again!

次はクジラか⁉︎とワクワクしながら海を眺めましたが、なかなか現れてくれませんでした。
ワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドを別の角度から見たりしながら、海の上をプカプカ…
とその時、クジラ⁉︎水しぶきが上がっているのを発見しました。
そしてついにクジラの大ジャンプ‼︎

Boarding and seating were accomplished efficiently, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our wheelchair bound family member was accommodated.

The buffet appetizer table was disappointing over all. The fruit, pineapple, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon, was almost tasteless. The cheeses were non-spectacular.

Our server was efficient, and he worked very hard to serve multiple tables. The entire wait staff is to be commended for their courtesy, hard work, and good service.

The entertainers were very enthusiastic and tried hard to please the guests. The jazz performances were the best part of the entertainment. The "wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Aloha" was very cheesy.

The drinks were good, and the salad, lobster, and steak were all better than I had expected. The food was quite tasty, and servings were plentiful.

It was really great! The view of Waikiki from the ocean was exceptional. Along the way, a rainbow appeared towards Ala Moana, which really boosted my spirits! The sunset was also perfect! My husband was very satisfied, and when we come to Hawaii again, we will definitely ride again! ^ ^

The fireworks viewed from the sea had a different and amazing location. I participated in January, and the nights in Hawaii were a bit cold, so I think having a jacket would be better. However, the staff kindly lent me a blanket, which was very nice!

海から観る花火はロケーションがまた違って凄く良かったです。1月に参加しましたが夜のハワイは少し寒くて、上着があった方が良いと思います。でもスタッフの方が膝掛けを貸してくれて、とても親切でした！

Many Japanese people were a bit anxious because the meeting place was hard to find, so I helped them out since it was my second time. I think Japanese guidance or catamaran signage is necessary. This time, I came to Hawaii to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. We participated in the cruising with the intention of celebrating. The fireworks up close and, of course, the night view of Waikiki from the sea were amazing, and it felt like we were truly blessed by Hawaii on this special day! Thank you!

集合場所が分かりづらく少々不安になった日本人が多くいらしたので2度目の私が教えてあげましたが、日本語案内かカタマラン表記は必要かと思います。今回は、妻の還暦祝でハワイに来ました。祝福のつもりでクルージングに参加しました。近距離での花火は勿論海からのワイキキの夜景は最高で、スタート日としてはハワイに祝福されてる感が最高でした❗️ありがとう

It was the best part of our trip to Honolulu. It was like having a fun party on the middle of the sea!
My mom asked me to cancel this before the cruise cuz she felt really tired after other activities but she said it was THE best thing she did in Honolulu!
The crew were super fun, great music, great drinks, everything was all so great. Of course, sunset was beautiful, took my breath away.
And also we saw two humpback whales! It was my first time! It really was an amazing experience.
I will definitely do this again next time I visit Honolulu with my husband.

The overall experience was excellent, the people were friendly and the food was great, better than expected and they really fill you up with crab legs. Dislikes were bathroom locations being unclear and during fireworks people are everywhere to see the fireworks on one side of the boat and they smoke cigs in your face at the very top deck, gross.

I had never been to Hawaii during whale watching season before, and this was my first attempt at whale watching. I boarded the boat with high expectations, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any whales... tears. The morning boat ride was pleasant with the sea breeze, but it's still disappointing not to see anything. We were returning home the next day, so we didn't use it, but I heard that if you don't see any whales, you can receive a free boarding ticket. (Transportation to the boat is separate.) I thought it was nice that they have such care in place.

これまでクジラが見られる時期にハワイにきたことがなく、ホエールウォッチング初挑戦でした。期待を膨らませて船に乗りましたが、残念ながらクジラを見ることはできませんでした…涙
早朝の船で海風も心地よかったのですがやっぱり見れないと残念ですよね。
私達は翌日帰国だったので使いませんでしたが、見れなかった場合は無料乗船券を貰えるそうです。（船までの送迎は別途必要）そういったケアがあるところはいいなと思いました。

Beautiful sunset and fun crew. We had an amazing backdrop between the whales breaching in the sunset and the Honolulu skyline in the back. Only request would have been a longer cruise, as we were only out for roughly 1.5 hours although they advertise for 2 hours.

Very convenient and pleasant cruise. Transportation was easy, staff was friendly, food was tasty, entertainment was entertaining. Very good date for a couple. Would reccomend to anyone looking for something to do for an evening.

I previously participated in another tour, but just before the trip, I found a free monitor tour for a second person and decided to go with this one. The shuttle service to the hotel was free, and along the way, the driver shared many recommended spots and shops.

We arrived at the yacht harbor early, and it was suggested that it would be cooler to wait in the car until the time, so we were allowed to wait inside the vehicle. All the other participants were foreigners, and all explanations and consent forms were in English, but it was perfectly fine even if you don't understand English at all.

You have to go barefoot on the boat, so I recommend wearing sandals. Inside the boat, bottled water and crackers with peanut butter were provided for free. You can bring your own alcohol, so everyone was freely putting it in their coolers.

There was time to swim until sunset, but the floaties were different from what I imagined; they were long, stick-like objects, so if you're not a good swimmer, I recommend bringing your own floatie.

The scenery was amazing! It was a breathtaking view like I had never seen before. I could see the moment the sun set clearly. On the way back, we could also see the night view, which was great!

以前は別のツアーに参加したのですが、旅行直前で2人目無料モニターツアーを見つけてこちらにしました。
ホテルまでの送迎は無料で、道中は運転手さんがオススメスポットやお店をたくさん教えてくれました。
ヨットハーバーへ早めに着くと、時間まで車で待ってたほうが涼しいとのことで、車内で待たせてくれました。
他の参加者は全員外国人で、説明や同意書も全て英語でしたが、英語が全然分からなくても大丈夫でした。
船は裸足で乗らなければならないので、サンダルで行くことをオススメします。
船内ではペットボトルの水とピーナッツクリームがサンドされたクラッカーが無料でした。お酒は持ち込み出来るので、みんなクーラーボックスに自由に入れていました。
サンセットの時間まで泳ぐ時間がありましたが、浮き輪は想像していたものとは違って長い棒状の物だったので、全然泳げない人は自分の浮き輪を持っていくことをオススメします。
景色は最高です！今まで見たことがないほどの絶景でした。太陽が沈む瞬間までハッキリ見えました。
帰りは夜景も見られるので良かったです！

This was my third time participating in whale watching, but unfortunately, there were no signs of them coming to the surface this time.

It was disappointing, but the weather was nice, and I had a great time leisurely watching Waikiki Beach. I felt a bit anxious when I saw black smoke rising from the sea.

I hope to try again next time!

3度目のホエールウォッチングへの参加でしたが、今回はご縁がなく一度も水面に上がってくる気配がありませんでした～

残念でしたが、お天気がよくワイキキビーチをのんびり眺める良い時間でした。
海上より立ち上がる黒い煙を眺めるタイミングにザワザワしてしまいました。

また次回リベンジしたいと思います！

At first, I was worried about whether I would see whales, but once we got out to sea, I was able to see spouts and the tails as they entered the water. I couldn't see the whole whale, but it was great to witness such a dynamic scene.

Additionally, the weather was calm that day, and the sea breeze felt refreshing, washing away my worries.

I opted for breakfast this time, but it felt a bit rushed to grab it before departure, so I didn't really enjoy it leisurely. This was a disappointing aspect, but I plan to skip breakfast next time.

While whales are the main attraction, enjoying the view of Waikiki from the sea while feeling the ocean breeze is also a delight.

はじめはクジラが見れるか不安でしたが、いざ海に出てみると潮吹きや海に入る際の尾びれなどを見ることができました。くじらの全体像は見れませんでしたが、ダイナミックな光景を見れたのはよかったです。
また、この日は風も穏やかで海風が気持ちよく、気持ちを洗い流された感じです。
今回は朝食を付けたのですが、出港前にあわただしく取りにいく感じてゆっくり食べた気はしませんでした。このあたりは残念な点でしたが、次回は朝食無しでお願いするつもりです。
クジラがメインではありますが、海風にあたりながら海からワイキキを見るのも一興です。

The crew was awesome. The drinks they offered were beer and mixed drinks they’re not really keeping count on the 3 drinks so just be nice. Would definitely book again.

I was disappointed that I couldn't see any whales. I tried hard to find them, but I couldn't. I heard that I could get a re-boarding ticket, but there is no transportation provided, and if I don't see any whales next time, I would feel even more disappointed, so I decided not to take the re-boarding ticket.

クジラにあえず残念でした。がんばって探したのですが、見つからず。再乗船券ももらえるようですが、送迎などは無く、次回もクジラに会えなかったらもっと残念に思うので、再乗船券はもらいませんでした。

They jumped beautifully with Diamond Head in the background. I wish they could jump again since we could see it so close to the land.

ダイヤモンドヘッドをバックにして綺麗にジャンプしてくれました。あんなに陸の近くで見れるなんて、もう一回ジャンプしてほしかった。

My fiancé and I booked this tour. Would have been fun if we were 20. Everyone on board was hammered beyond belief. Would not recommend for a couple or family. If you’re young and fun, this is for you!

I often go to Hawaii during summer vacation, but this time I decided to go in January for the first time, so I participated in a whale watching cruise to see the winter whales. It was a cloudy day with strong winds and high waves, which might be why the whales were not showing up. The captain announced that we would be turning back today, and the boat started to head back.

Then, from the other side, there was a cheer! Surprisingly, a whale was spouting water! And even its large tail fin! The boat made another U-turn to get closer to the whale. I'm grateful to the kind captain.

ハワイは夏休みに行くことが多く、今回はじめて１月に行くことになったので、冬のくじらに会いたいとホエールウォッチングクルーズに参加しました。この日は曇り空で風も強く、波が高かったせいかなかなか鯨が出てきてくれず、キャプテンから今日はUターンするとのアナウンスがあり船は引き返すことに。
そこへ反対側からなにやら歓声が！なんと、鯨が潮を吹いているではありませんか！そして大きな尾びれまで！
船はもう一度Uターンして鯨のそばまで行ってくれました。やさしいキャプテンに感謝です。

This is a must great price great people. Only thing is be careful walking from the blue umprella to the cat. It was a little sketchy when there was no railing with a rocky ocean drop off. But besides that the trip was incredible captain and bartender were incredible. A ton of fun, welcoming people and fantastic company. Great music great drinks. Highly recommend.

It was a bit disappointing that the weather wasn't great. There were not many Japanese people, but we all had a fun time together! The champagne and Mai Tais were all-you-can-drink and delicious. Most importantly, my mother was happy, so I was very satisfied. Just be careful not to drink too much...

天候に恵まれなかったのが少し残念。
日本人は少ないですが、みんなでわいわい楽しかったです！！シャンパンもマイタイ？も飲み放題で美味しかったです。何より母が喜んでくれたので大満足でした。飲み過ぎには注意です。。。

We meat Japanese couple next to us that did not speak English
we talked all night with help of their phone translation app.
At the end of the night they were so happy someone talked to them, they invited
us to Japan to stay with them during the next Olympics

I thought I want to go again! It was a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful sunset and Waikiki from the sea at a great value with my spouse. We had plenty of drinks and felt the nice breeze, making it the best memory!
