Amazing, Great fun on the sand bar. Had my 5 and 8 year old with us. Great for all ages. Added bonus was the Hawaiian Band playing amazing music.

Overall the tour was nice but there were a few things I wish I had known beforehand.

1 - I went in July & the sandbar water height was about at my bottom (I'm 5' tall). It wasn't good for any toddlers because they wouldn't be able to stand on the sand, so we had to carry our 2 1/2 year old the whole time. Current is a little strong for the toddler too. I was hoping it would be the time of year where the water was below knee deep so the toddler can enjoy.

2 - the only activity on the sandbar was volleyball, which I don't play. Other tours had other activities listed on their tour which I wish this tour had, especially for the price! It was a more expensive tour than others & had less activities than other tours I was researching. Other tours had live music. For the price, it should have more perks, The only good thing was that this was available last minute & they got us in which I appreciated.

3 - The food was good & the hot chocolate at the end of the snorkeling portion was great! However, like some reviews said, you could at least give us fresh pineapple vs canned. That was horrendous for this being Hawaii. Burger, beans & bag of chips was perfect!

The Sandbar was an awesome experience with an amazing crew. I would highly recommend. Be sure to come prepared with towel and any food/drink you would want to enjoy.

Not what we expected, drove round the hillsides in a bus looking at sign boards that said what was filmed there. Holes dug in the ground claiming they were dinosaur footprints but had to be filled in because cows were falling in them. Also film props of bones that were too fragile to be touched as they will break as they were made of polystyrene... really!

Everything provided was great. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. All the excursions provided off the boat were awesome! The crew were so nice and a ton of fun! I was able to see a sea turtle and film it with my go pro while on the banana boat ride. The drive notices the sea turtle and slowed down for us! It was PERFECT! The views were spectacular!

Absolutely enjoyed the excursion. I was able to book for a family of 7 only days in advance. Glad that worked out for us! The crew was professional, fun, and caring. I was a first time snorkeler and non swimmer. One of the crew members was kind to tote me around the reef to help ease my anxiety. I saw a majestic turtle and fish! The bbq burger lunch was superb! They stayed on schedule. No complaints whatsoever. I would absolutely recommend booking on Veltra.com for booking with Captain Bob’s snorkel tour! It was quick and convenient. You won’t be disappointed. It made for a memorable day! Thank you to the Captain Bob’s crew! You guys were amazing!!

The sandbar is absolutely beautiful. The staff is amazing, super helpful and friendly. The water was freezing and unfortunately it was also very cloudy when we went out so getting in the water was very uncomfortable for me. But if you don’t mind cold water you will love this tour!!!! You have gorgeous views and fun activities to do on the sandbar (snorkel, volleyball, kayak). Definitely recommend if you can handle cold water!!!

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Love the vibe and the live music. We asked about adding a ride on the raft and they made it happen. It was such a great experience.

What a trip! Our tour with Dani (and I’m blanking on the gentleman’s name), was PHENOMENAL. They showed us the sites and also helped by taking pictures of our group. They were super knowledgeable and made the experience great. Highly recommended for families.

This is my 2nd time doing this excursion. First was AM trip and just recently was the PM cruise. Both times were amazing! The LIVE music is the BEST!! This cruise gives you enough time to do whatever your heart desires whether that’s chillin drinking your BYOB, snorkeling, volleyball, kayak, paddle board, and my favorite tubing! The kids also loved the experience! Plus the sandbar itself is remarkable!

This was a great activity and our family had the best time. There was so much to do and the staff and crew were very fun and helpful!! Would do again. 10/10

Absolutely amazing experience. Crew was awesome. Boat ride was fun, views were stunning, lunch exceptional. Snorkelling gear was provided and they even had flippers for everyone!

This was a very organized snorkeling trip. Only 5 captains are allowed to go to the sandbar. Stunning scenery in the sandbar. Our kids played volleyball and we drank beer! We got back on the boat and ate a delicious lunch of hamburgers. Then headed out to snorkel. On the way we saw several sea turtles. The snorkeling was along a coral reef and we saw many cool fish and another turtle. One of the workers took my 12 year old out and helped her snorkel. She was sacred to go out. That was very impressive! I would definitely recommend this company! Everyone had a great time!!

What a fun way to spend half a day. The musicians on the ride out to the sandbar were very entertaining. Once we got to the sandbar we especially enjoyed snorkeling and hanging out on the floating dock. Feel free to take a cooler (with booze if you so choose)! Grabbed a breakfast sandwich from a little shop right next to the boat and it was delish.

The sea is beautiful! They recommended great meal options and spots, and I was very satisfied! I chose cycling and pizza, and it was the best! Snorkeling and bodyboarding were of course fun too!

Great excursion! Fun, energy staff! We were very happy with the sand bar excursion. We kayaked, paddleboarded, and snorkeled. The musicians on the boat was amazing!

My husband and I had a blast! The tide was high when we went but wasn’t too bad. The crew was great! Live music was awesome! Had everyone singing. Would do it again!

My family really enjoyed this activity. Everyone at the Captain Bruce charter was friendly and Professional. We chartered the private speed boat. Our captain was outstanding she made sure we had a great time. A++ for Captain Bruce

Our tour guide was super nice! Even the weather wasn’t really nice but we enjoyed so much! We learned a lot about the small island that we kayaked to. The view was stunning! Love it :)

Check the tide before booking the trip. You can only walk around in shallow water that Sandbar is known for on a low tide hour. If you want to snorkel or ride kayak then this trip will make you happy.

I have experienced horseback riding before, but this one is a long-distance ride of about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
In the great outdoors, there are points of interest such as mountains, the sea, and buildings, creating a route that keeps you engaged.
Honestly, the explanations are all in English, so those who do not understand English may not grasp the details, but I think you can enjoy the great outdoors without any issues.

大自然の中、山々や海、建造物などのポイントがあり
飽きさせないような経路作りとなっております。
正直説明は全て英語のため、英語が分からない方は説明を聞いても分からないとは思いますが、特に問題なく大自然を楽しめるかと思います。

This is the best activity you can do, specialy if you have children. All crew takes very good care of you, they really do their best so you can have a great time. Don’t miss this. I loved that they provide all we needed to have the best time at the sandbar.

Kualoa Ranch is an amazing place full of great activities and staff. Our family took the ATV tour of the ranch with guides, Taeil and Orlando. It was 2 hours long with stops for picture opportunities and to soak in the amazing views. The guides shared the history of the ranch as well as fun facts about the movies and tv shows that have been filmed there. Both guides were funny and incredibly personable- truly representing the Aloha spirit. The ATV drive/ride was exciting and fun with the majority being easy to intermediate driving. We have great memories and pictures to last a lifetime. Highly recommend visiting the Ranch and taking part in their wide array of activities.
