The horses were quite large, and I was nervous at first, but I gradually got used to it and was able to enjoy both the horseback riding and the surrounding scenery. The guide was very supportive and incredibly cute, which made the experience enjoyable throughout. Each horse had its own personality; mine was very smart, as it was in the lead, my son's horse was a glutton and a bit impatient, my husband's horse was the calmest and most experienced, and my daughter's horse was quite laid-back. After the horseback riding, we had a lively discussion about the horses. My son, who rode the gluttonous horse, was desperately trying to control the reins to stop its appetite, and he ended up with blisters on his hands!

By the way, I had no time to take photos, which is my only regret. The tour itself was wonderful, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of both the sea and the mountains.

Additionally, the Kualoa Burger ($15) we had at the attached cafeteria was exquisite. I regretted not bringing a light jacket because the shuttle bus was quite air-conditioned. The lockers ($5) were convenient as they allowed for all-day access, and credit card payments were accepted. You can bring a water bottle or smartphone in a bag attached to the horse, but there’s no time to drink slowly. Photos can only be taken with one hand, so balance is essential—no dropping allowed.

Our schedule was efficient with a 10 AM pickup, horseback riding at 12:30 PM, and a bus departing at 3:45 PM. However, since there’s a beach within walking distance, I’d like to allow more time to visit it next time. The buggies also looked interesting, so I’d like to try those as well. The burger is a must for next time!

お馬さんがかなり大きくて初めは緊張しましたが徐々に慣れて乗馬も周りの景色も楽しむ余裕が出てきました。ガイドのお姉さんが一生懸命サポートしてくれましたし、とってもキュートな方だったので終始楽しかったです。お馬さんはそれぞれ個性があって、私のお馬さんは先頭を任されるだけあってとても賢い子、息子はその後ろで食いしん坊でせっかちなお馬さん、パパの馬は一番落ち着いててベテランな感じ、娘のお馬さんはかなりののんびり屋さん。乗馬が終わってからもお馬さん談義に花が咲きました。特に食いしん坊なお馬さんに乗っていた息子は彼の食欲を止めるのに手綱を必死で操り手にマメができました笑　
ちなみに写真を撮る余裕は私には全くなく、唯一の心残りです。ツアー自体は景色は海も山も自然を大満喫できて素晴らしかったです。

その他
併設のカフェテリアで食べたクアロアバーガー（$15）は絶品でした。
送迎バスはかなりエアコンがきいてたので羽織ものを持っていけばよかったと後悔しました。
ロッカー（$5）は1日開閉自由なので便利だと思います。クレジットカード払い可。
お馬さんに付けるバッグにペットボトルやスマホを入れて持っていけるけれどゆっくり飲む時間はないです。写真も片手で撮れる方のみ。バランス必須。落とすの厳禁。
我が家は10時pickup、乗馬12時半予約、15時45分発バスで無駄がないスケジュールでしたが、歩いていけるところにビーチがあるので、今度行くときはもう少し時間に余裕を持たせてビーチまで足を伸ばしたいなと思いました。バギーも面白そうだったのでそちらもやってみたいです。バーガーは次回も欠かせません。

We participated in a two-hour horseback riding experience with three family members. The pickup was a bit early at 7:30 AM, but it was quite popular, with two large buses completely full (a group of people going to Kualoa Ranch, not just for horseback riding).

Upon arrival, the Japanese group gathered with a Japanese staff member who explained the starting procedures, shops, and restrooms. We were informed that only a waist bag could be worn while riding (backpacks are not allowed; smartphones and drinks can be placed in a bag attached to the saddle), so we needed to use a locker. However, when I tried to pay with a card, the touch sensor was overly sensitive, and I couldn't complete the transaction, but the Japanese staff member helped me out. In the end, I paid with cash... $5 felt a bit steep.

After that (from here, it was in English), we reviewed the safety instructions, signed a consent form, watched a Japanese explanation video, and then began riding. I had never done proper horseback riding before, but the horses were smart and moved in a single file. My elementary school daughter had no trouble at all.

We walked slowly through the forest and entered the world of Jurassic World. Besides horseback riding, there were buggies, buses, and bicycles, but the horses leisurely moved through the backyard where those vehicles couldn't go. So, the buggy group looked like a gang of speeders!

Honestly, I didn't remember much about Jurassic World, but the weather was nice, and the scenery was magnificent and beautiful, which was moving. The horseback riding didn't cover all the filming locations of the movie, so for those who want to visit the filming sites, I think it's better to join a dedicated tour (by bus?).

The two hours flew by! The horse I rode, Dino, was a bit crazy and often stopped or tried to turn around, but it was still very comfortable. Each horse has its own personality.

As expected, when getting off the horse, my legs didn't move well, and I felt a bit wobbly. My backside was a little sore too! We had lunch before the return bus, but surprisingly, there wasn't much time.

While I thought a buggy ride would be nice next time, the scenery and atmosphere while horseback riding was truly an exceptional experience, so I would love to go again.

ちゃんとした乗馬したことはなかったんですが、お馬さんはかしこいのでちゃんと1列で進んでくれます。小学生の娘でも全然平気。
ゆっくり歩いて森の中を進み、ジュラシックワールドの世界へ。
乗馬以外にバギーやバス、自転車が走っていますが、馬はそれらが入れないバックヤードをのんびり進んでいきます。なのでバギー隊が暴走族に見えますw
正直ジュラシックワールドはあんまり覚えてなかったですがw、天気もよく、景色が壮大で綺麗だったので感動しました。
乗馬は映画のロケ地を全部回る訳ではなかったので、ロケ地巡りがしたい方はそれ専用のツアー（バス？）に行かれた方がいいと思います。
2時間はあっという間！
私の乗った馬、ディノ君はクレージーだったらしく、よく立ち止まったり、Uターンしようとしたりしましたが、全然快適でした。個性ありますよね。
お約束は馬から降りるときに足がうまく動かず、がくっとなります。おしりも少し痛いw
帰りのバスまではお昼ご飯食べてましたが、意外と時間は少なかったです。
次はバギーもいいなと思いつつ、乗馬しながらのあの景色、雰囲気は本当に格別な体験だったのでまた行きたいと思いました。

It was a light rainy day, but we had a great time! We enjoyed driving while taking in the surrounding scenery and animals, and we were able to stop at various points to take memorable photos. You can drive with a valid driver's license, and up to two people can drive, but the roads are quite steep and you go at a considerable speed, so I think it's not suitable for inexperienced drivers. Your face and clothes will get muddy, so wearing a mask and clothes you don't mind getting dirty is a good idea!

Our kids, a 12-year-old boy, a 10-year-old girl, and an 8-year-old girl, were thrilled to see the filming locations from the Jurassic Park series, which they love. We were given helmets and goggles, so our eyes stayed clean, but afterward, our mouths were covered in dirt (laughs). The kids who had McDonald's on their faces managed to avoid getting dirty.

Since there were many Japanese people upon arrival, it was helpful that the Japanese staff handled the check-in for all the Japanese guests in advance. They also provided explanations for all the activities in Japanese. After arriving, we took about 30 minutes to relax before heading to the activity venue. Our activity ended at the same time as the bus departure, so we were in a bit of a rush without changing clothes, but it wasn't a problem since we didn't get too dirty (my husband drove carefully to avoid splashing in puddles). You can take a two-hour tour around Kualoa Ranch in a five-seater vehicle called the Raptor. At each stop, you can switch drivers. Driving for two hours is quite hard, so it was a good decision to switch. The magnificent scenery is wonderful, and I want the driver to enjoy it too. There’s plenty of time to fully enjoy the experience. Your upper body will get quite dirty, so it's best to wear a dark-colored T-shirt or something that you don’t mind getting dirty. It’s also good to have a change of clothes and a towel to wash your face. You can have lunch at the ranch, and the burgers are delicious. I had a fulfilling day and am really satisfied!

I enjoyed this tour a lot! My partner and I switched several times when it came to driving and it was very fun. An amazing experience, the views were fantastic, our tour guide was informative AND the tour guide took great pictures for us! It rained a bit when we went but that didn’t ruin the experience. It can definitely get muddy and cold, so be prepared and check the weather beforehand!!

The weather was windy and the sea was cold, which was disappointing, but overall it was a good day.

It's a free plan where you can set your own schedule. I think it's a good idea to think about the places you want to visit in advance.

We first rented bicycles and snorkeling gear, and then headed to Lanikai Beach. It took about 10 minutes by bike.

They also told us the best spots for snorkeling, and we quickly jumped into the water. We borrowed life jackets, so even though it was windy, we were able to float and see underwater. I was surprised to see so many different kinds of fish swimming in the shallow water—I didn't expect to see that much! It was cold, so we got out quickly, but I want to try again on a hot day.

For lunch, we had the pizza included in the plan. It was very large and satisfying.

In the afternoon, we went to Kailua Town, but since I hadn't done much research on the shops and didn't have many places I wanted to visit, we just wandered around and ended up not doing much.

If the weather had been better, I would have loved to enjoy the sea more...

I want to try again.

午後はカイルアタウンに出向きましたが、あまりお店の下調べをしておらず、行きたいところもそこまでなかったのでぷらぷらして終わりました。

天気が良ければもっと海を満喫したかったです…

I participated with my 15-year-old and 12-year-old children. I was really looking forward to it and even changed our schedule after checking the business hours, but we were told that Kimo's was closed. We were directed to a nearby pancake place, but we had to go there on our own. Some lunch spots were also closed, and for lunch, we had to go and pick it up ourselves. Unfortunately, the pizza was just average. Other than the round-trip shuttle, we had to handle everything ourselves. Since the option for Kimo's was no longer available, we rented bikes, but riding right next to cars with rude drivers was particularly dangerous, especially with the kids.

This tour was absolutely amazing and so fun. Corey was one of my guides and he was absolutely fantastic. Whoever the girl was that was leading us with him in the back of the group on 3/24/23 at 2:45pm was very stale and honestly seemed like she’d rather be doing something else. She wasn’t very exciting but Corey was!

We were all very excited while exploring the movie filming locations amidst the beautiful scenery, especially during the ups and downs and when crossing the river. After it ended, we looked at each other in surprise. Since there is a lot of dust, it might be better to take precautions before participating.

MUST DO!

I loved every second of this experience! Breathtaking views, the horses are so sweet, and you get to see a lot of movie landmarks, including but not limited to Godzilla’s footprints, 50 first dates movie spot and a jurassic park gates! The only thing I wish is that you could get closer to some of the jurassic park monuments.

if that’s your main goal, for this, try the four wheelers or the bus. Regardless, my top recommendation would still be the horseback riding!

This is a tour where you can race through mountain roads on a four-wheeler. You will drive in a group of five vehicles for two hours. Along the way, the guide (in English) explains scenes from movie shoots, and you will be overwhelmed by the magnificent scenery. Since you'll be driving on unpaved roads, be careful as you will get covered in dust, and you will cross a small stream about 3 meters wide around 3 to 4 times, so you might get really wet (laughs). It was the best event for a family trip, and I highly recommend it!

If you are in Honolulu this is a must do activity. Pickup was smooth in the morning and the bus ride was comfortable. Once you get to the ranch you will be amazed at how beautiful it is. You are away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and in the nature. The highlight of the tour will have to be the UTV ride. You and family get to drive your own and follow the guide through the majestic scenery where Jurassic Park was based of off. The ride will get bumpy and twisty and you will definitely get dirty but this is where all the fun is. Our family enjoyed it very much.

I visited the sandbar for the first time. Unfortunately, due to the tide conditions, the sandbar wasn't visible, but the guide did a great job of keeping the atmosphere lively, so I had a fun time. When asked if I would want to go again, I can't give an immediate answer (laughs), but I think it's worth experiencing at least once as a travel memory. 😊

I had a great time enjoying two full hours under clear skies. It was a bit disappointing that there were some activities at Kualoa Ranch that were not offered through Veltra. I would like to visit Kualoa Ranch again the next time I go to Hawaii.

On the day of the event, I arrived at the meeting place just in time, but the staff quickly approached me, and I was able to check in without any issues. It seemed like there was plenty of time built into the schedule, so it didn't feel like I was late at all. The bus was spacious and comfortable, and I dozed off for a bit, only to find that we arrived in no time. Once we got to the location, the staff provided guidance to everyone, so there was no chance of getting lost. I had a horseback riding experience, and everyone was kind, explaining things slowly and thoroughly. Surprisingly, the horses seemed very experienced, and it felt like I was mostly being led by them. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the magnificent scenery of forests, mountains, and the ocean. I didn't include lunch in the plan, but there was a restaurant on-site, so I had no trouble finding food. The Kualoa Burger was very delicious.

当日は時間ギリギリに集合場所に着いてしまいましたが、スタッフがすぐ声をかけてくれて無事に受付ができました。
工程には余裕を持たせているようで、全然遅刻という感じでもありませんでした。
バスは広く乗り心地が快適で、うとうとしていたらあっという間に到着しました。
現地に着いてからは基本的にスタッフが全体に案内をするので特に迷うことはありませんでした。
乗馬体験をしましたが、皆さんゆっくり丁寧に説明してくれて親切でした。驚くことにお馬さんがみな大ベテランといった感じで、殆どリードしてもらっているような心地でした。おかげさまで森、山、海と壮大な景色を楽しめました。
プランに昼食は含めませんでしたが、現地にはレストランがあるので飲食には困りませんでした。

This is my second time coming to Kualoa Ranch, and last time I participated in the movie location tour. It was also my first time riding a horse, so I was quite nervous. First, when riding, you need to wear long pants and shoes, and your bag should be something that can be secured around your waist like a fanny pack. Also, be aware that the horse may stop to eat grass or take breaks, so it's good to know how to handle that. The horseback riding lasts a full two hours, and you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Kualoa and the stunning ocean along the way, which is just amazing.

After that, we stored our luggage in lockers and moved to each attraction booth individually. We chose the horseback riding course, so we headed there. This time, there were six people on the tour. After learning how to operate the horse through a simple Japanese video, we quickly got on the horses and started. We completely control the horse ourselves, but a guide is next to us, which is very reassuring. I don't think there are many opportunities to ride horses for two hours in Japan, so this is an amazing experience! My wife also said it was the most enjoyable part of our trip to Hawaii.
