It was fun. It's an activity that you can't easily experience in Japan. The wonderful scenery is truly enjoyable. However, I was expecting a bit more challenging off-road terrain, but the course was surprisingly mild. It's quite relaxed. At one point, the buggy I was riding in broke down, and I had to share with someone from the same group, but they quickly provided another buggy, so it was fine. The guidance along the way was in fast-paced English, as mentioned in the reviews, and I could hardly understand it, but at the photo spots, the guide actively took pictures and videos for us.

On this day, I participated in the ATV tour at Kualoa Ranch. The meeting time was 10:15, and the tour started at 12:00. The meeting place was very easy to find, and when the time came, a staff member holding a sign that said "Kualoa" guided us, so there was no confusion. We came to the Hawaiian Islands to celebrate our Honeymoon, and this was 1 of the excursions we had planned. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! We had such a fun time, having the movie sites pointed out along the way to base camp. The 3 instructors that took us through the course were amazing, very attentive, asking questions about each of us, congratulating us and thanking us for coming. It did start raining 2 zip lines in, but wasn’t that bad. They kept the entire experience fun and full of entertainment. 100% recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this entire experience. The ship and crew was outstanding and the ability to do 'off shore' sandbar stopover with BBQ lunch and snorkeling was terrific. Although we had a rental car, we opted to take advantage of their transportation (a bus) and that was a real plus with door-to-door service. And although the bus was filled to capacity, on arrival they broke into two groups with two sailing vessels but stayed in tandem. The ships were in top shape and the onboard restrooms clean and stocked.

The sandbar experience was wonderful permitting amazing photos with Oahu mountains in the background. The crew was outgoing, mixing with the guests and ensuring all was safe and fun. The BBQ was ample and tasty, and the included and optional drinks wide ranging. The tour allowed plenty of time for all phases including the snorkeling...never feeling rushed with lots of time for exploration along the reef. The fish were plentiful and the coral in good condition. The crew was environmentally conscientious and took extra care in entering and existing the ship while snorkeling (with an onboard fresh water rinse afterwards). Their snorkel gear appeared new with ample numbers of swim jackets.

I highly recommend booking Captain Bob's...you won't regret it.

It's a refreshing activity! You drive yourself and glide through vast areas. We had eight vehicles lined up, with one guide watching over every three. I felt safe driving. The guide was great at keeping everyone excited and was always smiling! Although the guidance was in English, I managed to keep up. Additionally, before the ride, they play a video in Japanese to explain everything, so those who are not confident in English will be fine. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I drove through a canyon that felt like it could have dinosaurs, something you don't see in Japan. It was fun to drive an open buggy on a bumpy road, which I usually don't do. The speed was intentionally limited, and it felt like we were always in low gear. We didn't stop at every photo spot, but we did have some time to take pictures in beautiful locations.

Kualoa Ranch’s Movie Tour gave a fabulous insight into a WWII bunker, film locations and movie stars. My only constructive criticism is that the time given in the bunker isn’t long enough to absorb the history. Would still recommend the tour
