First, regarding the hotel shuttle, because it visits various hotels, the time spent on the bus can be quite long. I was one of the last to be picked up at the Hyatt, so it took about an hour, but those who were picked up first should be prepared for around two hours. This might be a concern for those who need frequent bathroom breaks. It seems that many delays are often caused by participants themselves, such as those who arrive late or go to the wrong meeting point. Once you leave Waikiki, it takes about 30 minutes to arrive using the highway.

We arrived at the site before 10:30. Tour participants lined up at a designated window to receive their tickets and then queued at the gate. The gates opened at 10:30, and while the line wasn't too long, the entry process took some time for each group. Many Japanese visitors had their partially consumed plastic bottles confiscated during the security check. Additionally, there were Japanese guests who lined up at the gate without receiving their tickets, which also caused delays.

After successfully entering, we went to rent a locker. The lockers are rented using a credit card at a terminal, which was a bit confusing, but since it supports Japanese, it wasn't a problem if you stay calm while operating it. The lazy river is average; the distance for one loop isn't very long. Also, there isn't a typical "just a pool" like you find in Japanese facilities. This is likely why the entire facility is compact, but it doesn't allow for much swimming practice. If you want to swim, you might as well do it in the wave pool when there are no waves.

Overall, the facility is good and enjoyable for adults as well, but the limited time and lack of floatation devices for the slides are drawbacks. Additionally, some attractions are closed at certain times, which is disappointing. I wonder if the closing times are posted somewhere.

The return time of 15:00 does feel early. Perhaps it's to allow for an earlier return to Waikiki so that guests can enjoy shopping as well.

現地には10時半前に到着。ツアーの人はツアー限定の窓口にならんでチケットを貰い、ゲートに並ぶ。10時半開場で列自体はそんなに長くないが一組の入場に時間がかかる。持ち物検査で飲みかけのペットボトルを没収されている日本人が多い。また、チケットを受け取らずにゲートに並んでいる日本人もいて、その対応にも時間がかかっている。
無事入場したあとはロッカーを借りにいく。 端末でクレジットカードを使って借りるタイプで少し戸惑うが日本語対応されているので、冷静に操作すれば問題ない。ロッカーの数は日本の大規模プール(豊島園とか)に比べると圧倒的に少ない。いっぱいの場合はどうするのだろうか。そこまで人はこないということだろうか。
着替えがすめばようやく遊べるが、だいたいその時点で11時頃。15時にはバスに戻ってきて下さいと言うことだったので、14時半にはあがるとすると3時間半しかない。昼御飯の時間も考慮すると実質は3時間もないので圧倒的に時間が足りない。子供は全く遊び足りない様子だった。自分は送迎と１日パスのプランだったが、昼食ブッフェやボディーボード体験を入れた人は更に時間におわれるだろう。
施設内は予想よりもコンパクトな作りなので移動にはそこまで時間はかからない。混雑も日本のプールに比べたら遥かに少ないのでその点は快適。ただ昼購入場所は自分が見た限り一ヵ所しかないので昼時はかなり待つ。時間をずらすなどして少しでも時短したいところ。
肝心のアトラクションについては総じて楽しかった。日本では体験できない種類のスライダーも多く楽しめる。ただ不満としては、専用の浮き具がないと滑れないものがあるが、浮き具の数が絶対的に足りない。特に子供と一緒に滑るための浮き具がほとんどなかった。(一人用は比較的多くあった)。せっかくあった！と思って手に取ると穴が開いていて空気が抜けているものもあった。これは是非改善して貰いたい。ただでさえ時間が足りないのに浮き具を得るまでの待ちは痛い。
波のプールはウェーブが大きくウェーブの出る時間も長いのがうれしい。ただし床がザラザラな場所があり波にあおられて擦りむく恐れあり。流れるプールは普通。一周の距離はそんなに長くない。また、日本のプール施設にあるようないわゆる‘‘ただのプール’’はない。これが施設全体をコンパクトにできている理由でもあるが、泳ぎの練習などはあまりできない。あえてやるなら、波がないときの波のプールくらい。
全体的に言えば施設自体は良く大人でも楽しめるが、時間が少ないのとスライダー用浮き具がすくないのが難点。あとは時間帯により閉鎖しているアトラクションがあるのが不満。閉鎖時間はどこかに書いてあるのだろうか。
帰宅集合時間が15時というのはやはり早い。もしかしたら、ワイキキに早く帰れるからショッピングも楽しめるという配慮なのかもとも思った。
時短テクニックとしては、予め水着を着ておく、昼御飯時間をずらして売店に並ぶ時間を減らす。

It was like heaven for my 5-year-old son. Having transportation for pick-up and drop-off makes it easier for parents. Driving after swimming is tiring... Although the plan didn't include meals, it's not a problem since you can buy food inside the park!

I took my daughter and her family to this Luau and I am so glad we bought the Royal package. It was great. We were right in front and the dancing was great and the Fire dancing was fantastic. I also liked the fact the they involved you in different activities. Food was great also. I liked the fact they will stay and take pictures with you at the end with your own camera. Overall I would definitely recommend this Luau to everyone.

I'm a repeat visitor.
The pool is very enjoyable. I highly recommend it. Since I rented a cabana, I was able to relax with my family without worrying about being seen by others. They provide fruit and water bottles.
The staff comes to take food orders, so you can relax without having to line up at the concession stand.
Regarding the shuttle bus, the confirmation screen said that you don't need to bring the voucher (or show it), so I took that at face value and didn't bring it. However, the staff at the pickup insisted that I show it. I explained that I didn't bring it because I was told it wasn't necessary, and after quite a bit of back and forth, I was finally allowed to board the bus.
My name was on the list the staff had, though. Next time, even if it says you don't need to bring the voucher, I won't trust it and will bring it anyway.

I walked from the hotel where I was staying to the pickup location. Since only the hotel name was written down, I went to that place, and because it was in a back alley, while I was waiting, a large bus arrived. I had always wanted to go after seeing it on TV and in magazines, but it was incredibly small, and I was able to go around it in no time. The slides were all quite similar, and I wished there were more regular pools. Even though some were a bit scary for adults, she enjoyed it so much that she kept asking to go again, which was a relief. Carrying the float by myself was a bit tough with the stairs, but the fun outweighed that challenge. We didn't add lunch or all-you-can-drink options, and that was the right choice. We played continuously and ended up taking a break just an hour before the meeting time. The portion sizes were large, so a set of chicken and fries along with one drink was enough for both of us. My child was so excited and said she definitely wants to come back when we visit Hawaii again!

We gathered in front of the Ilikai Hotel, but even after the time had passed, the bus didn't arrive... With that vibe, we moved on to pick up other hotels before heading to the location. By the time we arrived, we were about 20 minutes late. That was to be expected.

When you get on the bus, they distribute a floor map. The explanations about the park and the return trip are broadcasted once you're on the bus, and it's in Japanese.

The pool was not crowded, and all the attractions were open. The facility itself was smaller than I expected, and you can easily make one round quickly.

You rent lockers from a machine, but you can only put in a maximum of $7 in cash at a time. So, you can't use a $10 bill. Cards are accepted. I rented a small locker, but it was already packed when I put in two backpacks.

You can ride the slides as many times as you want. Most of the time, you need to carry your own float to the starting point. There are specific floats designated for each slide.

スライダー系は何回でも乗れました。ほとんどが自分で浮き輪をスタート地点に持って行って使う感じです。一応どのスライダーにどの浮き輪と決まっています。
お昼すぎになると少し混み始めますが、並んだとしても浮き輪待ちなので10分くらいでした。
更衣室、トイレはまあまあ汚いです。出来れば使いたくない感じです。
送迎だけがほんとに残念でした。スライダーは日本にはない激しさのものもあるので楽しめました。
帰りもホテルまで送ってくれます。

Since we picked up guests from various hotels, it took over 30 minutes in Waikiki, but after that, we arrived at the location in about 35 minutes. Perhaps because it was a weekday in June, it was not crowded, and we were able to enjoy the large slide without any wait. Since we had young children with us, there were many attractions they couldn't go on due to height restrictions, but they had a great time in the toddler area and the wave pool. I went directly from the airport moving from the Big Island to Oahu.
The park is always uncrowded, and you can ride the slides as much as you want.

I had a good time, but I don't think the dining environment was very good. The main slide is quite hard to climb from the bottom. Children want to go multiple times, so I participated again this time. I apologize for being late due to jet lag, but I connected before departure saying I would be downstairs, and when I got down, they had already left, which surprised me. There was no Japanese support or emergency assistance, so it was quite challenging for the staff at Veltra during this time.

We participated with two adults and three children in late April. The shuttle bus had strong air conditioning, so long sleeves are a must! The pool was spacious and the wave pool was great! Plus, we could slide down the slides as much as we wanted! The children's pool wasn't just a shallow pool, so they had fun too.

It was very empty, probably because it was a weekday. We enjoyed the water slides without having to wait in line. I made a reservation for the cabana, but I don't think it's necessary on weekdays. I believe even small children can have plenty of fun.

From the greeters to the servers to the Chief himself, everyone treated us like we were a part of the family. It felt like a big family reunion.
The food was delicious, and even if you're vegetarian or vegan like me, there are plenty of options! I had a mountain of food on my plate and didn't leave hungry.
The entertainment was my favorite part. Talented hula and warrior dancers performed traditional dances from various regions of Polynesia. So it was both entertaining and educational. I highly recommend this luau!
