We participated as a couple. The scenery was completely different from Honolulu, and even as beginners, we were kindly taught how to snorkel, which was a lot of fun. Above all, our guide Akima's talk was entertaining (laughs). He covered a wide range of topics, from the culture and legends of West Oahu to the flora and fauna of Hawaii, as well as life and money in Hawaii, so we were never bored during the drive. Also, the schedule was great. They dropped us off at the hotel before 3:00 PM, allowing us to enjoy some more activities afterward. I would love to request this again when I visit Hawaii!

It was tough with the rain and high waves. We managed to see dolphins, but it seemed like more people didn't get to see them. The staff was very good, so it would have been perfect if the weather had cooperated.
We were supposed to have lunch on the boat, but after the activity, we waited on land for about 30 minutes and received a McDonald's cheeseburger to eat. I was disappointed because I chose this place over a middle school specifically to enjoy lunch.

My long-awaited first trip to Hawaii! I went in mid-April. The day before was unfortunately rainy, so I was worried about rain on the day of my trip, but fortunately, the weather held up until the end. I was able to see a pod of dolphins, sea turtles swimming along the ocean floor, and schools of small fish, which made for an incredibly moving experience in the crystal-clear waters.

As for advice for those who will be participating, I tend to handle the cold well, but if you are sensitive to cold, be sure to bring a larger towel and a jacket, as it can get chilly, especially with the wind while moving on the boat! Also, since mid-April is the end of the rainy season, I was able to take time off work when things were relatively calm to go to Hawaii. 念願の初ハワイ！
4月中旬に行きました。前日があいにく雨模様だったので、当日雨が降るのが心配でしたが、幸い天気も最後まで崩れる事なく、予定通り？イルカの群れにも海底を泳ぐウミガメにも小さい魚の群れにも会う事ができて透き通るようなきれいな海中もともなって感動の体験でした。
これから参加される方へのアドバイス？ですが、私は寒さには強い方なのですが、寒さに弱い方は、船で移動中は特に風が吹くと寒いので、大きめのタオルとジャケットなど寒さ対策は忘れないように！
あと4月中旬は雨季の終わりという事で、今回も仕事が比較的落ち着いた時にお休みをもらってハワイに行く事ができましたが、もし又機会があれば、今度は是非、乾季に行きたいと思っています。

After preparing to enter the sea, we heard that there was a pod of dolphins, so we quickly jumped in and swam towards where the dolphins were. Some people were able to see them, but we couldn't see anything at all. I was tired and my legs felt heavy from the fins I was wearing for the first time, but we were encouraged by the tour guide's words, "Let's keep trying a little longer!" As we started swimming again, the dolphins began to swim towards us, and in no time, they were right in front of us. They quickly swam away, but then another pod came close, and I think we encountered about 100 dolphins and were able to swim with them. It was truly a wonderful experience, even better than I had imagined.

The day I participated was surprisingly rainy. It was also cold, but since it's nature, there's nothing you can do about it. Because of that, there were almost only Japanese tourists who had signed up for the tour. The slides were available to use as much as we wanted, but many of them were closed in the afternoon, which was disappointing. The bodyboard lesson was not really a lesson; it was more about having the wave pool to ourselves to use the bodyboards. The Shaka slide was the scariest, and I hit my backside hard. Kids ended up scraping their bottoms, so please be careful. I wasn't expecting much from the BBQ, but it was tastier than I thought. The beef was tender as well. Next time, I want to go on a sunny day.

Meeting the dolphins and sea turtles was amazing! The scenery was incredible. I was moved to see a large group of dolphins and to watch the sea turtles come up for air up close. I was worried about getting seasick, but it was fine even though I can't swim. The staff were very attentive and I had a great time!

We were picked up by a large bus. We picked up many people from hotels, and 98% of the group was Japanese. Once everyone was gathered, a monitor and announcements explained the process in Japanese.

After arriving at Wet 'n' Wild, we confirmed the bus number and meeting point, handed over our vouchers at the entrance, and then went through a bag check to enter. There is a shop where you can buy water, juice, and waterproof cases if needed (the waterproof case was about $25).

As we moved further in, there was a roofed area with lockers on the left where you can store your belongings. In front of the row of lockers, there is a monitor screen where you can rent a locker. You select the size of the locker, set a passcode, and after payment, you are told, "Your locker number is X." You can use that locker freely. Credit card payments are accepted, and the operation can be done in Japanese. Nearby, there is a shop (with hamburger sets), and in front of it, there are chairs and tables available for use. We left our swimsuits, towels, and sandals there and stored our valuables in the locker. I brought a leisure sheet just in case to reserve a spot, but it wasn't necessary.

You walk to each attraction, so it's easier to wear sandals the whole time. Even though it was spring break, the ground got quite hot. At the entrance of many attractions, you had to take off your sandals and climb stairs to start, which could have been tough in the middle of summer.

Each attraction has different inner tubes. You typically receive the inner tube from someone who has just finished at the goal point and carry it back to the starting point. There were many thrilling rides, which were fantastic. For some reason, not all attractions were open at once; they were opened alternately. Since it was still a season with fewer people, we didn’t have to wait long for lunch, and we could buy and eat quickly before heading to the next attraction. However, I wonder how it will be in the peak summer season? I was a bit worried about that. Despite the lines, the staff seemed quite relaxed... (laughs)

We left at 2:30 PM to make it back by 3 PM, but it seemed like many tours followed the same pattern, resulting in a long line. I feel there are too few changing rooms. The restrooms are in the same area, so some people were changing in the restroom.

Also, I thought it would be nice if we could play until closing time even if we weren't leaving at 3:15 PM. However, renting a car in an unfamiliar area is nerve-wracking, and if you plan to go during a busy season, it might be a good idea to eat something just before arriving and skip lunch to enjoy the attractions.

各アトラクションで浮き輪が違います。やりたいアトラクションのゴール地点で降りてきた人の浮き輪をもらって、スタート地点まで持って上がるパターンが多かったと思います。
絶叫ものが多くて最高でした。なぜか、全部アトラクションを開放せず、交代で開放してました。夏休みもこんな感じだったら、ちょっと残念です・・・。後でやろうと思ったアトラクションが、しばらく経ったら閉鎖になることもあり得ますので、注意です。

まだ人が多くないシーズンだったので、ランチもそこまで並ばず、すぐに買って食べて、次のアトラクションへ～～とスムーズに行けましたが、真夏とかどうなるのかなぁ？とちょっと心配になりました。
行列の割には、どこのスタッフものんびりですし・・・（笑）

帰りは2時半に上がり、3時の集合に間に合うように・・・と更衣室に向かったのですが、同じパターンのツアーが多かったようで、行列でした。
更衣室の数が少なすぎる気がします。トイレも同じ場所にあるので、トイレで着替えている人もいました。

また、3時15分出発でなくても、閉園時間まで遊ばせてもらえても良いのでは？と思いました。
かといって、慣れないところをレンタカーして行くのもドキドキするし、もし激こみシーズンに行かれるのであれば、到着ギリギリに何か食べて、ランチなしで遊ぶのも手かもしれません。

日本には、なかなか体験することのできない絶叫アトラクション、最高に楽しかったです(^^♪

In the morning, when we were picked up, there was a group of Japanese people. I was worried because they couldn't speak English, but the staff kindly explained everything in Japanese, which was a relief. Even the older couple nearing their sixties were fine.

We participated as a family of four. There were many types of water slides, and the kids had a blast enjoying them until the very last minute.

The tornado ride that we could all enjoy together was really fun, and we went on it three times. The kids seemed to really love the flow rider and are saying they want to go again!

The park had an all-you-can-eat BBQ plan, but the food was already prepared and there weren't many options. Some of the salads were spoiled, which was a bit disappointing... If it weren't for that, it would have been a five-star experience.

It was my first time swimming with dolphins, and it was truly amazing!

野生の生き物なので見れる確率は100%ではないのは重々承知の上参加していますがとても不安…でしたが！
沢山のイルカを見る事が出来て本当に本当に感動しました！
イルカは追いかけてはいけないし、あまり近くにより過ぎる事もないだろうから遠目に見れたら良いな…と思っていたのですが、予想外に近くで見れて大興奮！
ちょっと潜水したら手が届きそうでこんなにも近くで見れるの！？と思いました。
ドルフィンスイム後のシュノーケリングでは小さい魚やウミガメを見ました。
ウミガメはイルカと違い波に揺られながら泳いでいるので触れてはいけない…とわかっていてもウミガメの方から近付いてきてヒヤヒヤしました。笑
ドルフィンスイムもシュノーケリングも恐らくそんなに長くやっていないのですが、結構体力使います。
なのでキャプテンが作ってくれるチーズバーガーがより美味しく感じました。
クルーの皆さんはとても良い方ばかりで、泳ぎや体力に不安がある方はきちんと見ていてくれているようでした。
カメラマンさんが撮ってくれた写真は別途有料で購入出来ます。
ドルフィンスイム前に説明があるのですが、ガイドのムサシさんが
「自分のカメラで写真を撮るのは自由ですが、写真を撮る事にとらわれ過ぎないで。自分の目でイルカを見て！写真はカメラマンからも購入出来ます。」
と仰っていて、この時は「写真を買わせようとしているな…」と思っていましたが(すみません)
この言葉は本当です！
野生のイルカ、絶対自分の目でしっかり見て焼き付けるべきだと思います。
最後はイルカの為に環境配慮の話しまであり、ジーンとしました。
いつまでもドルフィンスイムツアーが可能なよう、自分も小さな事からエコを始めようと考えさせられました。

一つ気になったのは参加日がホノルルハーフマラソン当日で交通規制がかかりピックアップのみで１時間超えだった事。
私達は一番最初のピックアップだったので結構長い間バスに乗りました。笑
ガイドさん達も一生懸命対処してくださりましたし、結果的にイルカも見れて文句無し、ですがマラソン自体は昨日今日決まった事ではないと思うので、何かしらの対策を講じる事が出来ていたら更に良かったのかな！？と思います！

I had previously swum with wild dolphins on another tour, and the experience was unforgettable. This time, I wanted to try a different tour, so I joined the highly-rated and well-organized tour by the prestigious Dolphin University.

On the bus ride there, the guide shared not only knowledge about dolphins but also various stories about Hawaii, and before I knew it, we arrived at the port. The guides and crew members had a great rapport, and everyone was friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere from start to finish.

Once we set sail, we quickly spotted wild dolphins! We could see them jumping from the boat, and I hurriedly got ready to jump in! A large pod of dolphins swam back and forth near us, and it felt like we were swimming together. I was truly moved. I think I swam quite hard for a significant amount of time, but I was so engrossed that I forgot all about the fatigue.

When I got back on the boat, the crew had prepared freshly made hamburgers for us. After that, we moved to a snorkeling spot, where we were able to see many fish. We even spotted swimming sea turtles, which was very satisfying!

いざ出港してからは、本当にすぐに野生のイルカを発見！

たくさんのイルカの群れが何度も行ったり来たりで近くを泳いでくれ、真下を通ったり、一緒に泳いでいるような感覚で、本当に感動しました。結構な時間、しっかりハードに泳いだと思うのですが、そんな疲れを忘れてしまうくらい、夢中になってしまいました。

船に上がると、クルーの方がハンバーガーを作ってくれていて、できたてをいただきました。
その後はシュノーケルのスポットに移動したのですが、こちらもたくさんの魚を見ることができました。泳いでいるウミガメも見られ、大満足でした！

船からジャンプして海に飛び込んだり、SUPができたり、帰りはみんなでフラを踊ったり、本当に最初から最後まで盛りだくさんで楽しませていただきました。

At first, I was worried about seasickness and whether I would see dolphins, but starting with the crew and captain's introductions, we sang songs and took photos, and finally! We arrived at the dolphin point!

I was moved when a pod of dolphins swam right in front of me, just below us. The staff worked hard to entertain the participants as well. However, it was really unfortunate that the boat was rocking and the weather was not great, making it cold. Nature is beyond our control, so there's nothing we can do about that. The tour itself was wonderful, and I highly recommend it.
