My wife and I participated together. Following the recommendation of a friend who had gone to Hawaii earlier, we both decided to challenge ourselves, even though we’re not particularly fond of heights. In the end, we both enjoyed it! However, there was a difference in the instructors; my wife felt a bit uneasy with hers, as they were somewhat mechanical in their approach. My instructor was a friendly, handsome guy who eased my worries. If asked whether I would do it again, I would hesitate (laughs), but I think it’s worth a try at least once in your life, even for those who are not good with heights. We had a great time without regrets.

I let my daughters go on this tour by themselves. Since I had used the service before, I wasn't worried at all. The transportation went smoothly, although they seemed a bit nervous. I had a mix of no riding experience and a little bit, so I chose the 1 hour and 30 minutes course to fully enjoy horseback riding. The weather was nice, and the beautiful grasslands and mountains were a sight to behold. Along the way, I could also see the ocean, and while enjoying the magnificent scenery of Hawaii, I felt like a cowboy holding the reins.

Emily, who led us the whole time, shared interesting stories about the ranch and occasionally mentioned the cows and calves we saw. My daughter acted as an interpreter, which helped me understand everything. The horses were impressive, and the saddles were comfortable. Each horse had its own personality (there were six of us participating), and we had a lot of fun.

As someone with a bit of riding experience, I definitely want to participate in a course here where I can gallop again!

The advance information and guidance provided by the Japanese guide were friendly and reassuring, making it easy for us. As others have mentioned, the waiting time is long, but considering the repeated ascent and descent, it's understandable.

While light clothing is preferable during diving, it was cold while waiting early in the morning, so bringing warm clothes is essential. Lockers and currency exchange are available, which is reassuring.

Regarding photography, it may depend on the instructor you pair with, but both of ours were very enthusiastic and took lots of photos for us. You can also confirm in advance whether photo and video purchases are available.

As a piece of advice, since the jiggling of your cheeks during the fall can be quite painful, I recommend dieting beforehand!

The day we had planned was canceled due to weather conditions, so we rescheduled for another day. We were able to go on the new date, and it was a success! It was amazing!! I wasn't scared at all and just enjoyed the flight! I decided to have a photographer take pictures, and she was a really cute woman who took a lot of great photos. The video and photos cost $230, but since it's something I rarely do, I went ahead and purchased them. If you're hesitating, I recommend buying it! Also, I suggest wearing long pants instead of shorts. (laughs) We were picked up at 5 and were back at the hotel before 11, so it was a smooth day.

I participated with excitement, but the enjoyment varies depending on the instructor you fly with. My instructor was playing on his phone until we landed, and unlike other instructors, he showed no consideration, which was uncomfortable. However, the sky never disappoints!! The world from the moment you jump until the parachute opens is breathtaking and an indescribable experience. The fun really changes with the instructor!!

It was my first time riding a horse, along with my 9-year-old daughter and my husband, aside from pony rides. However, the hour and a half flew by. The spacious ranch had remnants of an old rodeo arena, irrigation from sugarcane fields, and what seemed to be a weapons storage or air raid shelter used during World War II. They explained everything slowly and kindly, even to Japanese people who don't speak much English.

As we climbed the hill, we could see the ocean, and there were very old horses (34 and 36 years old, while the average lifespan is 25 to 30 years) leisurely spending time with younger horses. Wild pigs, cows, donkeys, goats, sheep, dogs, and chickens all looked happy.

The horses were smart, gentle, and safe. It was truly a valuable experience. I would love to go again.

It seems that the tip is a flat $20. I was wondering if I would have to wait on the day, but I was able to board smoothly. The time it takes to ascend to 4,000 meters in the Cessna was enjoyable as well. Once you jump out, it really is over in the blink of an eye. I think it's worth doing at least once in a lifetime.

First, let's talk about safety. Some people might feel anxious about this, so I'll share my experience. I did this once in Japan and then for the second time in Hawaii.

When I flew in Japan, the briefing (what to do and what not to do) was very thorough. They also provided a jumpsuit considering it might be cold and dirty up in the air. We received the briefing as a group and got various safety reminders from the staff, which made me realize, "Wow, this is really dangerous, I need to pay attention."

In Hawaii, however, we only watched a Japanese-language briefing video and greeted the tandem instructor. Some instructors told us to take a specific position for landing, while others didn’t say much at all. I felt like unless I asked questions, I wouldn’t get much information. My instructor was quite laid-back; when I asked if there was anything we shouldn’t do, he just said, "As long as you don’t thrash around, it’s fine!" (laughs).

The diving experience itself is absolutely amazing! The ocean is beautiful, and because of the altitude, the floating time is longer. Ten minutes might sound short, but you can actually enjoy it quite a bit. If you make a request, they might take you around more or let you operate the parachute for a very brief moment (like pulling the right cord to make a slight turn).

I noticed that some people wearing slip-on shoes lost them, so it's best to wear lace-up shoes or something that stays securely on your feet. Losing shoes is one thing, but since there were houses below, it could be a nuisance.

I tend to get motion sickness, so I took motion sickness medication before getting on the Cessna (it can be bumpy) and thought about the possibility of spinning during the dive! I recommend this unless you are someone who is very resistant to motion sickness.

Also, I think they provided free water on-site, but it's definitely a good idea to bring your own drinks. You can buy coffee and potato chips, but no one seemed to be drinking anything. You can store your belongings in lockers, so it’s advisable to bring a quarter (25-cent coin) as well.

Lastly, about tipping. It’s customary to give the coordinator who provides transportation $20 (in cash) and a minimum of $20 to the tandem partner, with no upper limit (there's a box for tips). 日本で飛んだときは、レクチャー（してほしいこと、してはいけないこと）がとても丁寧でした。また、上空が寒い＋汚れるかもということを踏まえて、つなぎを借りることができました。
予約したグループ単位で、レクチャーを受け、担当の人からも色々と諸注意を受けたりと、「あぁ本当に危ないんだなちゃんとしないと」としっかり認識できました。
ハワイの場合、日本語で流れるレクチャービデオを見るだけ＋タンデム担当の方に挨拶したら、着地するときにこの姿勢を取ってね！という人（といわない人もいました）それぞれいて、「あと10分くらい待ってて！」と言われるのみで、質問しないと教えてくれないな･･･？という状態でした。私の担当さんは、しちゃいけないことはないの？と聞くと、暴れないでくれればそれでOK！というくらいののんきな人でした（苦笑）

ダイビング自体はとっても素晴らしいです！海も綺麗ですし、やはり高度があるだけあって浮遊時間も長いです。10分、と聞くと短く思いますが、意外とじっくり楽しめます。
リクエストしておくといっぱい回ってくれたり、操作させてくれたり（それはほんとに短い間です。右紐をひっぱって少し旋回する、など）します。

スリッポンをはいてきた方が靴取れていたりしたので、足元は、必ず紐靴ないしはしっかりと固定されるもので行った方がいいです。靴がなくなるのはいいとして、下に民家があったので、迷惑だと思います。

私はすごく乗り物酔いするので、セスナ（ゆれます）に乗る＋ダイビング中にアトラクションとして回転するかも！と思って酔い止めを飲みました。酔いに強い！という人でない限り、オススメします。

それと、その場で無料でお水などをもらえた気がしますが、必ず飲み物を自分で持っていったほうがいいです。コーヒーやポテトチップスなどは買えますが、特に誰も飲んでいませんでした。。
ロッカーに荷物を入れておけるので、確かクォーター（25セントコイン）も持っていったほうがいいです。

最後に、チップについてです。送迎をしてくれるコーディネーターの方に$20（手渡し）、タンデム飛行をしてくれたパートナーにミニマムで$20～上限は特になし（これはチップを入れる箱があります）が必須です。10ドルと20ドル紙幣を適宜予算に応じて持っていったらいいです。ホテルから送迎してくれるので、このアクティビティだけ、という場合クレジットカードは不要です。
本当に人によるのですが、待ち時間が長い場合もあります。

I was able to experience one of the things I want to try at least once in my life in Hawaii. Everything was perfect, from the reservation to the pick-up on the day, the diving, and the ride back to the city. I participated alone, but I had no worries. The videos and digital photos turned out great, and the videos were made so well that it felt like watching a TV show. You can even make reservations on the same day.

Now, regarding the skydiving, I can honestly say that words or text cannot express it. The view below was like Google Earth, and I couldn't even imagine floating in that space before jumping out of the plane. I screamed loudly until I landed. Being thousands of meters in the air was an extraordinary experience.

The instructors were all professionals and very cheerful, which helped ease my tension. Thank you very much to the Japanese male guide and everyone at the tour company. Although I am quite old, I want to try diving again.

I also went flying in Guam, but the scenery is better in Hawaii! The tandem master in Hawaii was more cheerful (the one in Guam was very cool, haha). I think there are hits and misses, but I had a great time. Plus, with a pickup at 5:30 AM, we were back before 11:00, so you can make good use of your time!
