It was very good. I think there were many Western audience members. Perhaps because of that, the audience was lively, and the overall atmosphere was very American. They reacted to each performance, cheering and expressing their joy, which made it enjoyable for us as well. It was a vibe that you don't often find in Japan, but experiencing that atmosphere made the trip to Hawaii worthwhile.

I enjoyed that this class got me outside to do yoga, but I would have liked more standing poses and a better ability to see the ocean during the class. There was a lot of seated poses that did not take advantage of appreciating the beautiful setting, which is the point of doing yoga on the beach. I’m glad we were in the shade, but also would have loved to be closer to the ocean and an earlier class to allow for more things to do later in the day and not as much sun and heat to allow for being closer to the water.

We thought his luau was be dry boring and the show was not entertaining. We also are a younger couple it seemed maybe more geared toward older folks we called it the “retirement home luau” it was pretty disappointing for the last day of the trip. Also the food was a pre-fixed menu where u were waited on but for a picky eater it was not a good choice. I also went pregnant and the main appetizer was raw fish. I also don’t eat beef so all I was able to have was two tiny pieces of chicken and a small scoop of rice which was very mid. With two shrimps only. We both left hungry from a luau! Which is crazy it is supposed to be plentiful in food.

I went to see the show on the night before my return home. I had a coupon from Veltra, so I was able to book tickets at a lower price through Veltra than on the official Auwana website, which is why I purchased them here. I was worried that since it was the cheapest seat, it might be far away or hard to see, but because the venue was small, I was able to enjoy the Cirque du Soleil show up close.
