I was very excited to go on this activity, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. When you arrive at check-in, they will not validate your parking (which is the opposite of the information you get in your confirmation email) so expect to pay $15 for parking and not $4. Next, they will take some pictures in front of a wall mural before you go into the boat. They don't give you a choice of whether you want to be photographed or not and they do not tell you that the pictures will cost $50 if you want them. The pictures actually came out nice so I asked if I could just buy one and they said that was not possible...way to be accommodating to your guests. The time on the cruise is way too long and they could really use a host that sounds excited to be there. The singer was fine but keeps the energy too mellow, you could see that everyone was ready to get off the cruise after an hour. I specifically chose this type of boat expecting that it would be more stable and I wouldn't get seasick but I did. I'd say if you really want a sunset cruise experience, I'd try out a catamaran since the vibe on those looks a lot more lively and friendly than on this bigger vessel...The best part of the cruise was of course the views (the bartender and server were nice as well.)

We gathered in front of the hotel early in the morning (5:45 AM) and watched the sunrise until our reservation time for Hanauma Bay (6:30 AM). This activity does not require a reservation for entry to Hanauma Bay, but you need to purchase tickets on-site, and you have to wait in line until it's time. I felt that time was a bit wasted, but I guess that's what you get for a cheap tour. One participant in the same tour kindly purchased tickets for everyone at the counter. Of course, we all lined up together.

If the tour included the ticket price, I suppose there wouldn't be any need to wait in line? I saw some people entering without waiting. Since everything was explained in English, there were some things I didn't understand. I heard there are lockers available, but I think it's better to take valuables to the beach. Someone needs to keep an eye on the bags. The snorkeling gear was cheap, and it was hard to breathe underwater. Some people mentioned it broke halfway through. The driver said if we called, he would help us... in English.

If you want to participate in the tour efficiently and with peace of mind, I think it's better to join a Hanauma Bay snorkeling tour guided by Japanese staff, even if it's a bit more expensive.

朝早くから(5時45分)ホテル前集合で、ハナウマ湾の予約時間(6時30分)まで朝日が昇るのを見てました。
このアクティビティーは、ハナウマ湾入場予約は不要なのだけど、現地でチケット購入しないといけないく、時間になるまでならんで待っていないとダメでした。
その時間がもったいなかったかな？安いツアーだからしょうがないです。
同じツアー参加者の一人が全員分のチケットをまとめて窓口で購入してくれました。もちろん全員同じかたまってならんでました。

チケット代金も入ったツアーならたぶんこの並ぶ　ということはないのかな？並ばないで入ってる人もいたので。
全部英語で説明させるのでわからないこともありました。ロッカーあるとのこと、でもビーチに貴重品はもっていった方がいいと思います。誰か一人荷物番が必要です。
シュノーケルも安物か海のなかで息がしづらいです。
途中で切れたという人もいました。電話してくれれば…と、ドライバーはいってました。英語です。
効率よく、安心してツアーに参加したいのであれば、少し高くても日本人スタッフが案内してくれるハナウマ湾シュノーケルに参加した方がいいと思います。

We were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly until the meeting time of 12:30 thanks to the early morning pickup. Timely service is great!
For meals, only before going down to the beach, card payments are accepted. The BIG hot dog was $11, and we were able to share it between two people. The fish is larger and there are many more varieties compared to before the pandemic!

It was a beautiful evening on the ocean. The sunset was hidden behind clouds but you could see the rays from the sun peaking thru. The food was flavorful and an abundance of it. With a tremendous variety to choose from.

Eight years ago, my daughter, who was in elementary school, said she wanted to see it again, so we participated. Unlike last time, we had a buffet meal before the show started. I think the content of the show was almost the same as before. We enjoyed the look-alike show, hula, and fireman show, among other things.

8年前に小学生だった娘がまた見たいと言うので、参加しました、前回と違いショーが始まる前にビュッフェでお食事、ショーの内容は前回とほぼ同じような感じだったと思います。そっくりさんショーとフラやファイアーマンショーなど楽しめました。

Our overall experience was good however there were a few bad eggs that turned the whole excursion sour. Mica, the young blonde girl, and Yoshi were all great staff members and added a positive outlook to our experience. However, Chad was a looming storm cloud that would ruin any fun and exuded a negative aura that lasted the whole trip.

After Mica gave us a rundown of the safety procedures, sign language and other diving fundamentals, we were given another debrief of these things by Chad. The experience was night and day. Mica was actually teaching and explaining how and why we do those things while Chad was quizzing us and giving condescending answers that weren't very helpful. When we would ask for clarification he would act like it's a quiz and would be hesitant to give us a straightforward answer. His tone was very condescending and he made us feel stupid despite us being brand new divers. Instead of quizzing us, how about answering our clarifying questions about the loads of safety information that we took in 20 minutes prior?

During the first dive, I was lucky enough to get Mica as my instructor and he was great. However, Chad was not a helpful instructor and ALL the members of my group who had the displeasure of learning from him had a negative experience. These main issues remained constant in all their experiences with Chad: he was not helpful, he was dismissive of your concerns, and he expected you to know what to do already. I witnessed his teaching when I was on the boat and I could see the difference in my experience with Mica versus what Chad offered.

He needs more empathy and consideration for others, especially new divers. It's funny because I mentioned that I wanted to dive with Mica because he is chill but he overheard, got jealous, and said, "What did you say about Mica? I am the best diver". It is his attitude and teaching style that make him a great instructor not simply his skills. Chad needs a reality check to fix his attitude.

It was an early morning pickup, but the van was full. The entrance fee for Hanauma Bay is collected in cash inside the car, so it's a good idea to bring exact change. The driver will say various things in English, but as long as you can understand what time you need to be back at the car, you can just let the rest go. At Hanauma Bay, there is a place on the beach where you can rent fins and other equipment, and you can also rent lockers there. However, it's not a self-service system; you have to give your items to the staff, and when you want to retrieve them, you hand over the key.

早朝ピックアップでしたが、バンは満席でした。ハナウマ湾の入場料は車の中で現金で集められるため、お釣りがないように持って行くといいです。ドライバーが英語で色々言いますが、とにかく何時までに車に戻っていればいいか、聞き取れればあとは適当に流しておけば大丈夫です。ハナウマ湾には、ビーチにフィンなどレンタル品を借りる場所があり、そこでロッカーも借りれますが、自分で出し入れする式ではなく、物をスタッフに預けて取り出したい時に鍵を渡す式です。

Star of Honolulu Sunset Cruise was amazing! My group had an awesome time, food was delicious, show was amazing as well. I was hoping for an actual Luau with the fire show. The service was great, very welcoming. Highly recommended!

I initially thought it would be an ordinary show since it started with hula dancing, but I enjoyed the diverse content, including impersonators of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, fire attractions, and aerial descents reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil. The theater also had a retro feel, creating a nice atmosphere.

After the show, the dancers from the Elvis and fire attraction were waiting near the exit, and I was pleased with the hospitality as they were willing to take commemorative photos. In the U.S., where prices are high, I appreciate it when shows like this offer discounted tickets.

フラダンスから始まったので、最初は凡庸なショーかなと思っていましたが、エルビスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのそっくりさんのショーや、ファイヤーアトラクションやシルクドソレイユを思わせる空中からの人の降下など、多彩な内容で楽しめました。劇場もレトロ感があり、良い雰囲気でした。
ショーが終わった後、エルビスとファイヤーアトラクションのダンサーが出口付近に待機しており、記念写真の撮影に応じてくれるなど、おもてなし感にも満足しました。米国は物価が高く、今回のショーのように、値引き販売してくれると、うれしいです。

Boarding Day: Friday
Boarding Course: 5 Star

If you're going to board, it's best to do so on a Friday when the Hilton fireworks are held. The fireworks themselves last about 5 minutes, but the combination of the night view of Waikiki and the fireworks from the sea is breathtaking.
Unfortunately, the sunset was not very impressive due to the clouds. I guess that's just luck...
However, the dinner was extremely delicious.
Also, the live performance was great.
I had previously boarded a 3 Star cruise, but I think I will only choose 5 Star in the future.
While it is more expensive compared to 3 Star, you should definitely go for 5 Star.

乗船するなら、ヒルトンの花火が行われる金曜です。花火自体は5分程度ですが、海上からワイキキの夜景と花火のコラボは絶景です。
サンセットは雲があり、感動する感じではなかったのが残念でした。こればかりは運かと…。
でも、ディナーが非常に美味しかったです。
また、生演奏がよかった。
以前に3スターに乗船したことありましたが、今後は5スターしか選ばないと思います。
3スターに比べれば値は張りますが、5スターにすべきです。

We participated as a couple. Since the explanations were in English, I didn't understand everything, but we were able to enjoy the atmosphere. It was a fun time talking with the Japanese people who were also on board. I was a bit worried about needing the restroom after drinking too many Mai Tais, but there was a restroom on the boat, so I felt relieved. I was a little surprised to find a restroom in such a place, but several people, both men and women, used it.

The night view of Waikiki from the sea was amazing, and the Hilton fireworks were a different experience compared to viewing them from land, making it feel luxurious. At one point, we raised the sails and went sailing, which was quite fast and refreshing.

夫婦二人で参加しました。
英語での説明なのでよくわからなかったんですが、雰囲気で盛り上がることができました。
同乗していた日本人の方ともお話できて楽しい時間でした。
マイタイを飲み過ぎるとトイレが心配されてますが、船にはトイレがあるので安心です。こんなところにトイレが、ちょっとビックリでしたが、男性、女性とも何人かの方が利用してました。

洋上から眺めるワイキキの夜景は素晴らしく、ヒルトンの花火は陸から見るのとは一味違い、贅沢な気分でした。
途中、帆を上げてセーリング、結構な速さで爽快でした。

In mid-August, I participated with my 8-year-old daughter. I was worried about the heat, but thanks to the shade, it was not a concern at all. We were able to move our bodies slowly in a refreshing breeze, and it was a very pleasant time. My daughter got bored halfway through, but I was grateful that the instructor kindly encouraged her. We took The Bus from our hotel in the center of Waikiki to get there, and on the way back, we played at the beach and stopped by a café, then walked back to the center.

8月中旬に、８歳の娘と一緒に母娘で参加しました。
暑さを心配しましたが、日陰のため暑さも全く気にならず、爽やかな風が抜ける中でゆっくりと身体を動かせて、とても心地よい時間でした。
娘は途中で飽きてしまいましたが、インストラクターの方が優しくお声がけくださってありがたかったです。
ワイキキ中心部のホテルから、行きはThe Busに乗って向かい、帰りはビーチで遊んだりカフェに寄ったりしながら、そのまま中心部まで歩いて帰れました。

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time seeing fireworks, and I booked the Fireworks Cruise. It was wonderful to enjoy the fireworks while sipping drinks, and I didn't experience any seasickness, plus the cruise went all the way to Diamond Head, making for a very enjoyable time. The only downside was that the meeting point was hard to find.

Since I was staying at the Sheraton, I thought it would be easy to get to the designated spot, but I couldn't figure it out even while looking out at the coast. When the boat finally arrived, I assumed it was ours, but when I asked the crew, they told me our boat was docked on the other side of the Sheraton. I realized I had gone to the wrong meeting point just in time to barely make it for departure, and I had to run.

Regarding the meeting point, the explanation of "go past the Sheraton pool and head to the beach" is a bit misleading for those staying at the Sheraton, as it's easier to exit towards the Royal Hawaiian side. I think it would be more helpful to specify the Hale Koa side instead.

ハワイは何度か来ていますが、花火は初めてで、ファイアークルーズを予約しました。お酒を飲みながらゆっくり花火がみられて、心配していた船酔いもなく、ダイヤモンドヘッドの方までクルーズがあって、とても楽しい時間でした。唯一のマイナスポイントは集合場所がわかりにくかったこと。
シェラトンに泊まっていましたので指定の場所まですぐのはずが、海岸を見渡してもわからず。
やっと船が来たので、てっきりそれだと思っていましたが、船員さんに聞くと私たちが乗る船はシェラトンの向こう側に泊まると。集合場所を間違えている事がわかったのが出航に間に合うかギリギリの時間で、慌てて走りました。集合場所について「シェラトンのプールの横を通って海岸に出る」という説明ではシェラトンに泊まっているとロイヤルハワイアン側に出るのが楽なので、ハレクラニ側と記載された方が親切だと思います。

It was a lovely experience! Crew was amazing and entertainment was fun. Food was also very good. Only issue I had was I ordered 2 Mai tias. One alcoholic ,one non alcoholic and they charged me same price for each…$10 a piece. I do not think a drink that only contained fruit juice and no alcohol should have been the same price.
Other then that, it was a beautiful cruise

Great staff, drinks, music, and view of the fireworks.

Even with standard seating our seats were close to the stage and our view was very good. Venue doesn’t offer the tropical and natural setting and backdrop (high rise in background of all our photos), but it was close to our hotel and didn’t consume several hours of our day/night going/returning on a bus.
Entertainment was very good and the food was good. All luaus are expensive, so no real bargains.
Overall, we are glad we went and had the experience.

It was my first experience, and I was able to feel Hawaii. There were various events, and it became a lifelong memory. It was fun!

It was a wonderful show where I could enjoy various genres of music and dance. The quality of the singing and dancing was also high.

いろいろなジャンルの音楽やダンスを楽しめて素晴らしいショーでした。歌やダンスのクオリティも高かったです。

I felt strong swells at the beach, but it was completely calm offshore. I only remembered going out to see the sunset and coming back before, but this time we cruised all the way around Diamond Head while enjoying the sunset, fully savoring the refreshing experience on the catamaran. It was only in English, but there were no particular issues. The free soft drink was a very light pineapple flavor? (laughs) That wasn't the main purpose, so it was just a little charm. I went on the last day, and it was casual and a fitting way to cap off the final day; it was a great trip. I absolutely recommend it.

浜辺ではうねりが強い感じがしましたが沖は全く静か。以前は沖に出て夕陽を見て帰って来ただけの記憶でしたが、ダイヤモンドヘッドの裏側まで夕陽を見ながらずーっとクルーズ、めいっぱいカタマランでの爽快感を堪能できました。英語のみですが特に問題はなかったです。フリーのソフトドリンクはうすーいパイナップル味？笑。それが目的ではないのでそこもご愛嬌。最後の日に行きましたが気軽ですし最終日を飾るにふさわしい、良い旅でした。
絶対おすすめです。

Liked being first to beach, life vest was missing straps that go between legs front to back, this caused jacket to float up around neck, the overall experience is good and I recommend, but life vests need addressed

Last time, I participated in the evening course to watch the fireworks, but this time I joined the morning course because I wanted to see dolphins. I was truly moved that they changed the course to where the dolphins were, just as I had hoped.

前回は花火を見る夜のコースでしたが、今回は午前のコース、イルカをみたくて参加しましたが、期待通りいる方にコースを変えてくれて本当感動しました。

I participated with my wife and two daughters, a total of four people. Most of the participants were from overseas, and we were probably the only Japanese family there. I was the only one in my family drinking alcohol, so I had the famous Mai Tai while the other three enjoyed soft drinks. The waves were relatively calm, so it didn't sway as much as I had worried it would. I enjoyed my drink while being blown by the wind, and the pleasantness made me keep drinking, leading to about five or six more Mai Tais and sparkling wines. Unfortunately, the cloud conditions were a bit poor, so I couldn't see the "perfect sunset," but I was able to see a big rainbow, making it a very satisfying boat trip.

妻と2人の娘、計4人で参加しました。
参加者のほとんどが海外の方で、日本人はおそらく私たち家族だけでした。
家族の中でお酒を飲むのは私だけだったので、私は名物マイタイを、あとの3人はソフトドリンクを頂きました。
波が比較的穏やかだったので心配していたほど揺れることもなく、風に吹かれながら美味しく飲み、あまりの気持ち良さに酒も進んでマイタイのおかわりやスパークリングワインなど5、6杯も頂いてしまいました。
残念ながら雲の条件がやや悪く“100点満点の夕陽”は拝めませんでしたが、大きな虹を見ることができ、大満足の船旅になりました。

I have loved magic since I was young, and among all magicians, I particularly adored Atsuto Ogawa's performances. So when I found out I could see his magic during my trip to Hawaii, I made a reservation immediately. Before the show, Mr. Ogawa spotted us and came over to chat! During the performance, he mixed in some Japanese, and we had a really enjoyable time. I was truly moved to see Atsuto Ogawa's magic live, something I had admired for so long!

昔からマジック好きな自分は、中でも緒川集人さんのマジックが大好きだったため、ハワイ旅行にあたって緒川さんのマジックが見れるということで即予約。
開場前に緒川さんが自分たちを見つけて、話しかけてくれました！
公演中も日本語を交えながらやってくださり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
とにかく昔から見ていた緒川集人のマジックを生で見れたことに感動でした！

I was with my child, but I didn't have any worries at all. It was nice to take it slow while diving, and I was glad that we could handle the changes in pressure.

I had ordered and paid for a life jacket in advance, but I couldn't rent it on the day of my visit... I couldn't understand the English, and when I arrived and tried to communicate, the bus had already left (crying). The sea was very clear, and I could see the fish.

ライフジャケットを事前に注文、支払いしていましたが、当日レンタルできませんでした…。英語の理解が及ばず、到着して伝えようとしたらもうバスが行ってしまっていました(泣)海はとても透明で魚も見れました。

Super fun. Lovely ship. Friendly crew. Yummy food. Beautiful dance show. Just do it!

I really wanted to try it, even though it was expensive, so I paid for three people and went for the experience. On the day, there was no wind and the waves were calm, but we managed to ride the waves three times. It was my first time going out to the waters off Waikiki, and it was truly beautiful! Since we didn't have enough people, three guys joined us on the canoe. They were part of the beach service staff, and it seemed like it was their first time on a canoe as well, but we all had fun following the instructor's guidance together. When we went out to sea, the instructor suddenly signaled us to jump into the water, which was a lot of fun! I'm really glad I participated!

どうしても、やってみたくて高く付くけど3人分支払い体験して来ました。当日は、風も無く波は穏やかでしたが3回波に乗れました。初めてワイキキの沖の方まで行きましたが本当に綺麗！人数も足りないので3人のGUY達も一緒に乗ってくれました。ビーチサービスのバイト君たちで彼らもカヌーは初めてだったようで師匠の指示に一緒に従いながら楽しめました。沖に行くと師匠の合図でいきなり海へ飛び込んだりと楽しませてくれました♪参加して良かったです！

I was able to see many sea turtles. And, fortunately, I also saw dolphins, so it was the best day ever. The waves were calm, and it was a fortunate tour.

海亀がたくさん見れました。
そして、運良くイルカも見れたので、最高な1日でした。波も穏やかで運に恵まれたツアーでした。
