Did this activity 18 March 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it. All seats have amazing views, informative and fun guide and plenty of one-off photo opportunities. We saw turtles and sting rays along with huge fish and an array of pretty smaller ones. Would be happy to do this activity again! Thank you!

I participated with my child, and thanks to the careful instruction, both of us were able to ride the waves in our dream destination, Hawaii. By the end, we were exhausted and a bit wobbly, but we had a blast until we were both completely sun-kissed. It was so much fun!!

子どもと一緒に参加したのですが、丁寧な指導のお陰で２人ともあこがれのハワイの波にのることができました。
最後の方は体力が続かず、フラフラでしたが、２人とも真っ黒になるまではしゃぎました。
とても楽しかったです！！

After work, I headed straight to Hawaii with three friends. After arriving, we slept for about three hours and then participated in a cruise. Unfortunately, all three of us got severely seasick, and we couldn't enjoy the scenery at all.

Since you will be on the boat for quite a long time, I think it would be better to take your time to adjust your condition before participating, rather than going on the day you arrive. I also got the impression that there were hardly any Japanese people there.

仕事帰りその足で友人3人とハワイ旅行へ向かいました。
到着後３時間ほど寝て、こちらのクルーズに参加しました。
結果は３人とも激しく船酔いしてしまい、景色どころではなく終わってしまいました。

結構長い時間乗り続けることになるので、到着した日よりもゆっくりコンディションを整えてから参加されたほうが楽しめると思います。
日本人の方はほとんどいなかった印象です。

The ocean was beautiful, and swimming with the sea turtles was incredibly fun! Kyōhei was surprisingly easy to talk to and explained things clearly, which made it really enjoyable! I thought it would be great to go to the same place next time I visit Hawaii! Thank you!

I have had many rides on helicopters and this was the best. Never rode one with no door. My daughter and myself felt it was one of the best things we have done in our lifetime. The pilot was fantastic and having riden with the Sheriffs department as on observer several times in years past he ranks number one. What a smooth and exciting ride. I am telling all my family and friends to check out your service before anyone else when they come over to Hawaii. I will take another ride on my next trip back in the months ahead.

I had an amazing time! Cruise was fun! I've been to many dinner cruises on the island and the Navatek boat is indeed by far the smoothest ride I've ever been. We went during the Nagaoka Festival in Waikiki and the fireworks display was so outstanding, which made it more enjoyable and memorable for us!

The staff at the Ticket Desk were also very friendly. We got there 45-minutes early and Josh was very kind enough to answer the many questions I had while we were waiting. It wasn't their normal schedule that night and Josh was able to share their regular schedule with me, the transportation and check-in procedures, and wait times from boarding to departure.

As for the servers on the boat, they were okay but they could have been better! I would have preferred them to be more energetic and quicker. Our server that night seemed a little too tired and it also took us a while to get the drinks we ordered. Very good food though! The teriyaki garlic chicken was my favorite..yummmm!!!!

The Polynesian entertainment was good but I wish it was longer. They only performed three (3) different dances and that was it. The host and singer was also good, I like that she interact with the audience while singing but I wish she could have sang songs that are more familiar to the audience. I thought the songs were too old to be sung these days.

Something that I never expected though is the dancing at the end of the cruise! We danced the night away and that was so much fun! I loved it! I'm glad I took this trip as I didn't know this is also available at Navatek. I've always thought this to be more intimate, for couples celebrating their anniversaries or honeymooners who want a quiet and romantic moment but this can be for families or group of friends as well.

Good time, reasonably priced, not much on the varity of drinks

We had an awesome moment having time with friends with a cocktail in front of the sunset. I will do it again in my next trip in waikiki, for sure!

This tour was awesome. Great instruction and great fun. Highly recomend.

My husband and I participated, but we were the only Japanese guests among foreign customers. Before boarding the boat, we had our picture taken in front of it. There was no explanation in Japanese, but we could enjoy the view of Waikiki from the boat. It was my first time snorkeling, but the children among the guests were enjoying it without fear (laughs), so I was able to enjoy the atmosphere. The snorkeling spot was deep enough that you couldn't touch the bottom. They provided floatation devices, so I could snorkel safely and enjoyably. It was quite windy and cold on the boat, so I recommend bringing a jacket.

船に乗る前に、船の前で写真をとってもらいまいした。
日本語で説明はありませんが、船からワイキキの景色を楽しむことができます。
シュノーケリングは初めてだったのですが、子供のゲストの方がシュノーケリングを
恐れることなく楽しんでいたので（笑）　その場の雰囲気で楽しむことができました。
シュノーケリングをする場所は、足がつかない深さでした。浮き輪のようなグッズを貸してもらえるので、安心して楽しくシュノーケリングを楽しめました。
船上は風がきつく寒かったので、上着を持って行くことをおすすめします。

We used this for a company trip with a total of 23 people. I think it was a great value cruise with a beautiful sunset and unlimited drinks. We were the only Japanese guests, and we enjoyed communicating with the international guests. However, a few people got seasick, which made for a tough time, and I regret that. I recommend that those who are prone to seasickness take some medication in advance.

総勢23名の社員旅行で利用しました。綺麗なサンセットとドリンクも飲み放題でとってもお得なクルージングだと思います。日本人客は私たちしかおらず、海外の方とコミュニケーションをとりながら楽しめました。ただ、数人船酔いしてしまい、辛い時間になってしまったことが悔やまれます。船酔いする方は前もって酔い止めなど飲むことをお勧めします。

If your looking to see turtles, this is the excursion for you! The staff was professional and entertaining. Lunch was provided, which had not been mentioned when booked but appreciated. The sail following snorkeling was very nice. If your looking to see lots of tropical, colorful fish this is not the excursion for you.

I took my family on this excursion and was delighted as everyone was. Tour guide was witty and very informative. Boat ride to sub was added bonus. We were busy keeping up with all of the different fish species passing by our observation ports in the sub!
Sub was quite comfortable. Premium ride was excellent. I highly recommend taking this tour. You won't be disappointed !

Fabulous weather and sightings more than we could count, including turtle! Food geared more for oriental tastes. Even though guides tried to control crowds for eating, it was caos! Bring your own food if you have specific needs or tastes. Crew friendly and helpful. Conservationist on board VERY knowledgeable.

It was a lot of fun to experience the boat trip with my friends. The boat was small and swayed a bit, but after having a cocktail, I felt energized. When I went out on deck, suddenly a whale appeared, surfacing multiple times and spouting water—it was a surprising and happy moment. We had a great view of Diamond Head, and the sunset was absolutely perfect for the mood. Just when I thought it was time to head back, the whale showed its tail several times, as if inviting us to come back to the waters of Hawaii. I plan to come again next year. The sunset cruise was amazing!

友人夫婦と一緒に初体験船は小さいがとても楽しかったです。船は少し揺れカクテルを少し頂いたら元気になれ甲板に出ると突然鯨が～背中を何度も出し潮吹きを目のあたりし驚き幸せのひと時でしたダイヤモンドヘッドが良く見られ日が落ちるサンセットはムード最高でした。そろそろ帰るのかな～と思っていると又クジラが尾びれを何度も見せていただき又ハワイの海に来て～
て行っているようでした。来年も来る予定です。サンセットクルーズは最高～です。

One of the purposes of this trip is to go surfing!! That said, my husband, daughter, and I have zero experience... What will happen??? On top of that, we started with a mix of English lessons and a lot of anxiety~!

On the beach, important points were explained in a simple and easy-to-understand mix of English and Japanese, and we practiced on boards placed on the sand. Then we headed to the sea. I wondered if I could really ride the waves, but as we went out, when the waves came and I was about to catch one, the staff shouted, "Mom, stand up! Stand up!" When I tried standing, I glided~~~! Riding the waves felt amazing and was the best experience. During the two-hour lesson, I managed to ride almost without any failures. Of course, it was thanks to the staff who helped me catch the waves...

I recommend it to anyone who wants to try surfing. You'll get hooked!!

とは言うものの、主人も娘も私も経験はゼロ・・・
いったいどうなるのか？？？
おまけに、英語レッスンと不安いっぱいで開始~！

波が来て波に乗ったタイミングでスタッフの人が、「ママ立って！立って！」と言ってくれて立ってみたらスィ~~~！　
波に乗って進むってすごく気持ちが良くて、最高でした。
２時間のレッスン中ほとんど失敗なしで乗れましたよ。
もちろんスタッフの人がうまく波に乗せてくたお陰ですが・・・

サーフィンをしてみたい人お勧めです
ハマりますよ！！

This was exactly what we were hoping for. It would have only been better if we saw dolphins as well. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, the food was great, and the whales were perfect!

This was a great experience. Very knowledgable naturalist. The first cruise out we didn't see any whales, but they guarantee sightings, so they gave everyone a voucher for a free second trip. I went right back out on the lunch cruise and we saw a bunch of whales! We even followed (at a respectful distance) a mom and baby for about an hour. She breached right in front of our boat! The food was very good (especially because I originally signed up for the breakfast cruise so I wasn't counting on eating). Staff was great, I'd recommend this to anybody!

It was an amazing way to spend the day out on the bay! I have heard so much about how beautiful whale watching is, and they are not wrong. The captain and the naturalists on board knew everything and anything there is about humpback whales. They even have library books on their tables for everyone to read and learn. Lunch was great with an endless buffet of local food. The whales were awesome! They were flapping their tales every 5 minutes. We found a pod of about 6 whales. None of them however jumped or stood out of the water, but that is not a problem. We were fortunate to have found them in 20 minutes of departure. We had a good 2 hours of observing and trying to take as much pictures as we could.

While visiting the beautiful Island of Oahu, I started to reminisce of the last time I came here and it was for the last Michael Jackson performance back in the 90's. I was searching for a dinner and show activity and I was fortunate that I came across hawaiiactivities.com - Veltra because they have a 2 For 1 Review Rebate Special. I was traveling with my family, and so we booked for the Green Room & Dinner Show package. As we checked in at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, we were greeted with warm alohas from everyone working. We started on an amazing tour of the theater and got to see some of the marvelous collections of Elvis and Michael Jackson. The dinner was amazing, and the we had the cocktails coming all night long. The show was amazing! It brought back many fond memories of my teenage life growing up listening to Elvis. I was having many flashbacks as I was singing to all the songs and rocking the night away. But unlike many shows in Waikiki, Rock A Hula has something special and particular to their show which is... Hawaiian Performances. Hula dancers, chants, and acts that resembled Elvis's presence here in Hawaii while sharing the Aloha spirit. This show is highly recommended if you love old school pop and classical songs. Thank you Veltra & Stars of Paradise for this wonderful time I had.

I requested private lessons for my 10-year-old son. I was a bit worried since he doesn't understand much English, but the coach provided clear instruction in simple English, so he had no trouble at all. Being a child, he improved quickly, and although it might be a parent's bias, I felt he was able to ride the waves longer than the adults who were taking group lessons at the same time. It became a wonderful memory, and it seems he also found joy in experiencing a sport that other kids hadn't mastered yet. I plan to have him try again next time.

10歳の息子のプライベートレッスンをお願いしました。英語があまりわからないので大丈夫かな？と思ったのですが、コーチは平易な英語でわかりやすく指導してくださってまったく困ることはなかったようです。子供なので上達も早く、親の欲目かもしれませんが同じ時刻にグループレッスンを受けていた大人の方より長く波に乗れていたように思います。良い思い出になりましたし、他の子供のマスターしていないスポーツをいち早く体験できたという喜びにも繋がったようです。次回もチャレンジさせたいと思っています。

I would strongly recommend organization for doing a sail and snorkel activity.
The crew was informative, very helpful, and made the afternoon totally enjoyable.
Aftersnorkeling there was a report of a whale and that had just calved. The crew took us to the area where the whale was sighted and we, too, were able to see multiple sightings of the whale.

It was a wonderful cruising experience, and I felt very good. You can feel the wind and waves much closer than on a large cruiser. If you come to Hawaii, you definitely should go on this.

I intentionally chose the Navatek and participated. It was a great decision! The number of people was just right, and I think we were in a spot where everyone could see well. When someone spotted a whale, we quickly moved to that position. We even encountered a large group of dolphins that felt almost like a performance! Although we couldn't see the whale in its entirety (is that how it usually is?), I was able to confirm it with my own eyes!

あえてナバテック号を選んで、参加しました。
大正解！
人数的にもちょうどよく、みんなが見えやすい場所にいたと思います。
誰かが、クジラの気配を見つけると、割と小回り良くそのポジションに移動しました。
演出？！と思うくらいのイルカの大群にも出会え、、、肝心のクジラも姿丸ごとは観れませんでしたが（そうそうそういうもの？）
この目でしっかりと確認できました！！

We took a catamaran ride as a couple in our 50s. The two handsome crew members didn't speak Japanese, but they were friendly and we managed with their broken English. My wife can't swim, but they provided life jackets and simple floaties, so there were no issues. Above all, the experience of swimming with sea turtles was invaluable. The free hamburgers they provided were also delicious. However, be careful as the meeting point is at the left end of Outrigger Beach facing the sea, and it was hard to find. There were no signs or anything.

50歳台の夫婦2人でカタマラン号に乗りました。
イケメンのクルー2人は日本語を話せませんが、フレンドリーで、片言の英語で何とかなります。妻は泳げませんが、救命胴衣をや簡単な浮き輪を貸してくれるので、問題ありませんでした。
なんといっても、ウミガメと一緒に泳げる体験は貴重です。無料でくれるハンバーガーも美味しかった。
ただ、集合場所がアウトリガーの浜の、海に向かって左端で、わかりにくかったので気を付けて。看板などはありません。
