My wife and I participated together!
First of all, neither of us speaks a word of English, but it was not a problem at all! I've read in other people's experiences that there were Japanese speakers, but there weren't any during my time. However, it was no issue.

We used Google Translate, and when receiving explanations, they communicated with gestures, so it was easy. The instructor was kind and very reliable.

The check-in process was simple.

After check-in, we stored our belongings in a coin locker. There was no worry about theft. They provide you with a coin.

Once we took off and reached a safe altitude, the piloting experience began. The piloting time was quite long, with 40 minutes of the 60-minute flight dedicated to actually flying.

It's the best experience to be able to pilot without a license. It is a bit pricey, but I would love to participate again.

The flight route is determined by the weather on the day, and I flew along the west coast route from Pearl Harbor to Haleiwa, the westernmost point at Kaena Point, and Ko Olina.

The area near Kaena Point was clear and sunny, and it was such a beautiful place that I was more captivated by the scenery than by flying.

What surprised me the most was being able to see Hawaii's great nature from above. 小6と小3の子も後部座席で撮影をしながら終始楽しんでいて、あまりの心地よさでノースショアあたりからうたた寝を始めましたw
酔い止め薬を飲ませていましたが、うちの子達には不要でした。

また予想外に良かったのは、ハワイの大自然を上空から見られたことです。私はハワイに来たのは3回目で、ワイキキやアラモアナ、ダウンタウン、ノースショアあたりしか行ったことが無かったのですが、オアフの東海岸を上空から見ることで、ハワイの大自然や雄大さを肌で感じることができ、より一層ハワイが好きになりました。
また着陸の順番待ち？のためか、パールハーバー上空を3週ほど旋回したのですが、80年前の日本兵はどんな風に見ていたのだろうともの思いにふけながら、飛ぶこともでき、こちらも予想外に大変感慨深かったです。

34年ぶりの円安で高価なオプショナルツアーになりましたが、間違いなく、生涯記憶に残る体験ができたと思います。セスナの体験操縦は世界でも3箇所？しか出来ないようで、タイミングが合えば是非オススメです。
子供達とも楽しい思い出になるのではと思います。

Weather was ideal for gliding, some clouds but above where we were flying.

Aerobatic exercises are exciting and one is able to experience some G-forces plus weightlessness during the loops. A most enjoyable flight from take off to landing. Would do it again if the opportunity presented itself.

ただ酔い止め飲んでもう1回参加したいですwww

I had pre-ordered a video and photo package. The photos and videos were taken by the instructor's arm camera, and I paid an additional $139 for a separate cameraman to film from the outside. The total came to $602.

The data arrived a few days later, and when I watched it, there was a major editing mistake. The footage from the outside camera was upside down while the footage from the arm camera was normal! So, the video was switching between upside-down and normal footage. (当日もカメラがちゃんと入っているかという確認を散々してやっぱり入っていなかったようでした。飛んだ後に判明してももう遅い。英語がつたない中、しつこく確認して本当によかった。その後、この編集ミス、そして対応しない、どうなってるんですかね？最悪です。)
