Picked up at the hotel at 8:30.
After about an hour on a large bus, we arrived at Kualoa Ranch!
Since we had only been sightseeing around our hotel in Waikiki, it felt like we had entered a different world with breathtaking views! It was completely different from the moment we arrived!
When we got there, a Japanese attendant explained the meeting place and checked us in in Japanese, so we could participate in the tour with peace of mind.
However, since I chose the afternoon tour, I had quite a bit of free time.
I had enough time to look at souvenirs, buy some, and even take a nap (laughs). My husband was so tired from the previous days that he took a little nap on a bench (laughs).
So, maybe an afternoon tour isn't the best option? It seems like the departure time for the bus going there doesn't change. The return bus seemed to leave around 1 PM.
We departed for our return at 3:45 PM. It felt like we spent the whole day!
The buggy tour stopped at various points, where the tour guide took photos and explained the history and movies.
However, all of this was in English... I couldn't understand the English, so I didn't know why everyone was laughing at certain moments (laughs). Even that is a good memory, but I think it would be even more fun if I understood English!

ワイキキのホテル周辺を観光していただけなので、別世界に来たみたいで絶景でした！着いた瞬間から全然違った！
着いたら日本人のアテンドさんが日本語で集合場所などを説明してくれたりチェックインをしてくれていましたので安心してツアーに参加できました。
ただ私は午後開始ツアーを選んだので、かなり時間が余りました。
お土産を見たり買ったりご飯を食べたりしてもお昼寝できるくらいの時間が(笑)夫は連日の疲れでベンチで少し寝てた(笑)
なので午後開始ではなく午前開始ツアーでもいいかも？行きのバスの出発時間は変わらないみたいなので。帰りは13時くらいのバスが出るみたいでした。
私たちは15:45に帰り出発でした。1日使ったって感じ！
バギーのツアーは所々で止まって、ツアーガイドさんが写真を撮ってもらったり、歴史や映画の説明をしてくれました。
ただこれは全部英語だった…英語がわからないのでみんなが笑っているタイミングで何で笑ってるかわかんなかった(笑)それすらもいい思い出ですが、英語がわかればもっと楽しいと思います！

The sand dust is incredible, so I wore a dust mask from my neck to below my eyes like the people in Jurassic Park, and goggles for my eyes. Just the outfit gets me excited. There were many breathtaking spots and popular attractions. The course is quite long.

My first choice was horseback riding, but it was fully booked, so I went with the buggy instead. The location was amazing! The view of the mountains and the sea while driving was truly wonderful. I also enjoyed the buggy ride, which included plenty of ups and downs on the mountain roads! It was a great experience.

It was meant to be an active experience, but the slow driving in the buggy felt more like sightseeing, which was disappointing. The fact that only a maximum of two people can drive was also a challenge.

The local guide spoke only English, so I couldn't understand what was being said.

When I entered, there was someone who spoke Japanese and explained the experience options (there were several types, including horseback riding), which helped me know where to check in. However, if it had been only in English... that would have been terrifying.

For about two hours, my husband was driving while I sat in the passenger seat, and it was incredibly fun! I wore a helmet, goggles, and a bandana covering my mouth, so my whole face was covered, but the dust was intense, and my face ended up completely black, with my clothes covered in dust as well. However, it was a unique experience that I was very satisfied with!

I had some concerns about the language barrier, but after arriving, the explanations and activity descriptions were provided in Japanese, so I was able to participate in the activities without any issues. Also, being able to drive myself and visit various locations was very enjoyable, and the scenery was amazing everywhere! While I couldn't take photos while driving, it was great that we could stop at various photo spots along the way.

Most participants were international travelers, but there were hardly any Japanese people on the tour. I worked hard to listen to the English being spoken and realized my lack of language skills. However, I was very satisfied with the tour overall. Although it was a group booking with one vehicle, I learned for the first time that if there are several participants in the group who want to drive, multiple group bookings are necessary, as only two people can drive in one vehicle.

We had great instructors both times but this time we got taken on a slightly longer path that was even more beautiful & scenic than the last. We had a couple friends with us this time that we recommended the tour too & they absolutely loved it as a highlight of their trip! At the reception, it was almost 100% in English, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that Japanese was hardly understood, but somehow we managed. With our phones, gestures, and broken English, we made it to the buggy ride. With goggles and bandanas, we were ready to go!

The buggy experience, while enjoying the filming spots and the grandeur of Hawaii, was incredibly fun. Unfortunately, the guide's stories at each photo spot seemed very interesting (the foreign guests were laughing and interacting a lot), but they spoke so quickly that our phones were of no help. If we had understood, it would have been 200% more enjoyable. Still, it was nice that the guide made an effort to communicate with us through gestures. Next time, I hope to at least understand some American jokes!

The day was a little wet from the morning rain, but it did not prevent us from having a fun day ATVing at North Shore Stables. Just prepare yourself to get dirty!!
We caravaned on the farm our guides took us along the coast but mostly through the farmstead. We stopped and met their farmers (cows) and their goats. Very delighted to find out that this company is doing what they can for the environment and turning much of their dollars to restoration! Kudos to NSS and thank you for a very fun time!!

I participated in a tour with transportation included. Upon arrival, a Japanese staff member guided us and explained the flow of the tour. I was relieved to find that it was only in English.

Since it had rained before, the buggy didn't get dirty from dust, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable ride! Although I couldn't understand the explanations during the tour since they were in English, I had a great time. The tour guide took a lot of photos, which made for wonderful memories.

I was on a tour with one Japanese person, an Asian family that seemed to be Korean (6-7 members), a group of four young white people, and a white family from America (four members).

During the tour, there were several stops, and at each stop, the driver-guide explained the location. However, the driver-guide (who was white) only provided explanations to the group of young white people and the white family, and at the end of the tour, he only said "Thank you. Have a nice day." to those two white groups. This behavior felt quite racist at times, and I experienced a strong sense of discomfort.

I can only think that if we had a good driver, it could have been a very enjoyable tour, which makes it all the more disappointing.

私（日本人1名）、韓国人と思われるアジア系家族（6〜7名）、白人の若者グループ（4名）、アメリカ出身白人家族（4名）が乗り合い。
ツアーでは何度か途中下車をする場面があり、その都度下車地点の説明をドライバー兼ガイドが行うという流れだった。

I was worried that neither of us had brought our driver's licenses and whether we could participate after arriving the day before, but we were able to adapt flexibly, and we safely joined the tour by riding in the back seat of the buggy driven by our guide.

The scenery was breathtaking, and it was fun to see actual movie filming equipment left behind. I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, as there is quite a bit of dust. Also, we made stops at various points to take photos, so I think people of all ages can enjoy this experience.

まさかの2人とも免許証持参忘れで前日から参加できるのか不安でしたが、臨機応変に対応頂き、ガイドさんの運転するバギーの後部座席に乗っけてもい無事に参加できました。

We participated as a couple. Since it was a day to drive around Maui with a rental car, we opted for the meet-up plan, but we arrived just in time for check-in. There were some traffic jams, so I think it's best for those going on their own to plan to arrive early.

We took turns driving. It was a pretty long drive, so it was good to switch off. Our faces got really dirty! My clothes were covered in dust, so I recommend wearing clothes that you wouldn't mind throwing away.

Driving a buggy at high speed through the great outdoors was thrilling and a lot of fun! The guide only spoke English, so I didn't understand much of the commentary along the way, but I still enjoyed the scenery.

I visited Kualoa Ranch, which was recommended by an acquaintance for my first trip to Hawaii. There was a Japanese-speaking guide on site, which provided a sense of security. The buggies get quite dirty from the dust, but it was a fun experience. I definitely think it's worth trying at least once.

On our way home we were talking about what our favorite part of the trip to Hawaii was and everyone said the Raptor Adventure. The two guides were awesome! Actually all the guides we encountered were super friendly. The scenery was beautiful from the mountains, the ocean views, and the movie clip views. We even saw some cows up close and pet a horse. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend it.

I signed up for a self-driving course. It was pouring rain, and I bought a poncho from a vending machine. I didn't get my body wet, but my arms, legs, and shoes were soaked. I followed the guide at the front and drove.
