About seven years ago, I participated in a sandbar tour. It was in September. I joined with my kindergarten son, and it became a wonderful memory...

This time, during my year-end and New Year trip, I went to Hawaii for the first time in seven years and participated in the sandbar tour again, but at this time of year, it was rainy, windy, and too cold in the water! For snorkeling, it was so cold that my kindergarten daughter couldn't even get in the water.

The adults were doing their best to get in, but if the weather could be predicted better, it might have been a more enjoyable tour! The staff were very kind, talking to everyone and sharing various stories, which made the tour time enjoyable, but it was still too cold for me.

7年ほど前にサンドバーツアーに参加した事があります。しかし時期は9月でした。幼稚園の息子と参加して、良い思い出になりました…
で、今回年末年始の旅行で7年ぶりにHawaiiに行き、良い思い出のサンドバーツアーに参加しましたが、この時期、雨、風、海の中、寒すぎ！シュノーケリングなんて、寒くて海に入る事自体、幼稚園の娘なんて無理でした。
大人の方達は、頑張って入ってましたけど、天候をよく予測出来れば、楽しいツアーになるのかもしれませんね！
スタッフの方達は、すごく優しく、みんなに声をかけて色々お話もしていただき、ツアーの時間を楽しませていただきましたが、ヤッパリ私には寒かったです。

Epic is the word that comes to mind. We had the best time. It was more than we had anticipated. We have lived here for 11 years and this was our first time sailing with the Star Of Honolulu. The 5 Star dinner cruise with Live Jazz made our 14th anniversary that much more special. From the warm reception, meeting and greeting the Captain, the Ono pupu’s to the amazing 7 course meal and top notched entertainment we felt like royalty. You can’t beat the amazing sunset and whale sightings either. If you are looking to celebrate or just relax and take in the sights the Star Of Honolulu is definitely the thing to do.
We had a great and memorable time from start to finish. Mahalo Star Of Honolulu .

It was my first experience snorkeling, but thanks to the guide, I was able to swim happily, and it became the best memory!

My husband and I had a spectacular time on this 5 star dinner cruise. We've lived here for 11 years and this was our first time experiencing the elegance and absolute superb 5 star dinning experience the Star of Honolulu offers. From start to finish everything was spectacular. We were treated like VIP's. We were greeted and warmly escorted to the boat where we partook of some extremely delectable pupu's while being serenaded by a Polynesian dancer and ukulele player. We were also introduced to the Captain of the ship and was afforded a photo op with him. As the evening progressed the boat set sail and the 7 course meal did not disappoint. We ate until our belly's were super tight. Did I mention the majestic sunset we watched from our window seats? Simply amazing! We also enjoyed the top shelf drinks that were apart of the menu. But not to worry if you are not an alcohol drinker there are many non-alcohol drinks to choose from.
This dinner cruise truly exceeded our expectations and we would wholeheartedly recommend the 5 star experience especially for that very special occasion. Its the perfect way to celebrate. It's kid friendly too. Mahalo Star of Honolulu for a very memorable anniversary! #14yrs

When paying for the locker rental, please note that JCB cards cannot be used. There weren't many people, so I was able to experience all the attractions and enjoyed going on my favorites two or three times. Staff do not provide any instructions on how to ride the attractions, so I recommend checking the bulletin board properly before getting on. There are many thrilling drop attractions, so it's full of excitement! However, you need to have the stamina to carry a float up the stairs. It's a bit pricey, but it includes transportation, and I thought I would like to go again next time. Sunscreen is a must! I brought a beach towel from the hotel, so I didn't have any particular issues.

ロッカー代の支払時、JCBカードは使えないので注意が必要です。人が多いことはなく全てのアトラクションを体験でき、気に入ったものは2、3回行けたので楽しめました。アトラクションの乗り方の説明などはスタッフから一切指示されないので、アトラクション前に掲示板でちゃんと確認してからを乗ることをオススメします。 急降下のアトラクションがたくさんあるので、スリル満点！！でも、浮き輪を持って階段を登っていかないといけないので体力も必要。少し高いですが送迎付きですし、次回も行きたと思いました。 日焼け止めは必須！！タオルもホテルのビーチタオルを持って行ったので特に困ることはなかったです。

I thought it would be all thrill rides, but my second daughter, who isn't good with scary things, enjoyed riding the three and four-person slides multiple times. My eldest daughter loves thrills, so she enjoyed everything. I thought it would be nice to have a pool with slides that aren't available in Japan while in Hawaii. Since it was January, which is winter in Hawaii, it seemed like the locals weren't coming to play, and the wait time for the round four-person slide was about 3 to 6 minutes. The slides that can accommodate two or three people had no wait, so we kept riding them. If you want to ride a lot, I recommend going during this time. A rash guard is good to have when it's a bit chilly.

Also, the driver for the shuttle was polite, which made me feel at ease. The Japanese woman who explained things after we arrived at W&W was kind and nice!

The bodyboarding lesson was taught in English, but it didn't feel like a proper lesson; it was more like, "When the wave comes, ride from around this line!" and I ended up not being able to ride. I think I can skip the BBQ lunch next time. It was different from what I expected. It might be better to buy a lunch box inside the facility and eat while playing. Overall, I'm glad I went!!

-絶叫系ばかりかと思いましたが、怖いのが苦手な次女も３人乗り・4人乗りのスライダーを何回も乗りとっても楽しんでました。長女はスリルがあるのが好きなのでどれも楽しんでました。
日本にはないスライダーでハワイでプールもいいなと思いました。
1月だったので、ハワイは冬という事もあり現地の方も遊びに来ていない様でスライダーの待ち時間は丸い4人乗りが3分～6分位だったかなと。
3人～2乗りも出来るスライダーは待ちなしでどんどん乗りました。
とにかく乗りたい方はこの時期おすすめです。
ラッシュガードがあると肌寒い時にはいいです。
-あと、送迎のドライバーの方が丁寧で安心しました。
W&Wについてから説明して下さる日本人の女性が優しくて良かったです！
-ボディボード・レッスンは英語で教えてくれますが、教えてくれている感じではなく「波が来たらこのラインのあたりから乗って！」くらいの説明で乗れずに終わりました。
次回はBBQランチはしなくていいかなと。思っていたBBQとは違いました。
施設内でランチBOXを買って食べ遊んだ方がいいかな。
総合的に、行ってよかったです！！

There were five of us in total, including ourselves. The guide was really kind and entertaining! It was my first time snorkeling, and without the guide, I would have had no idea how to swim while putting on the gear. During the experience, we were able to see sea turtles twice, and we even got some photos taken. They asked if we needed wetsuits (for $10) when we participated. The guide strongly recommended it, so we decided to get one, and I truly believe I would have been cold and caught a cold without it. While it would be fine for just playing in the water at the beach, they mentioned it was necessary since we would be swimming for over an hour, and I am really grateful for that.

If I have friends going to Hawaii, I would definitely recommend this tour!

ガイドの方が本当に親切で面白く案内をして下さいました！
初めてシュノーケルをしましたが、ガイドさんがいなければ器具をつけながらの泳ぎ方など、全く分からずだったと思います。
また、参加中にはウミガメを2回も見ることができ、写真も撮って頂けました。
参加の際にウエットスーツがいるかどうか聞いて下さいました(10$)。ガイドの方が強く推して下さったのでお願いしましたが、もしなければ寒くて風邪をひいていたと思います。。
ビーチでの水遊び程度であれば無くても大丈夫だが、1時間以上泳ぐので必要と言ってくださり、本当に感謝しています。

またハワイに行く友人などいれば是非オススメしたいツアーでした！

When I got home and tried to look at the data sent to my computer, I found that I couldn't save it to view. I contacted them to ask them to send the data to my mobile by attaching my mobile address since I couldn't view it via email forwarding, but they never sent it at all. It feels like I just threw away the money I spent on the data... I'm shocked.

I think it would be better to burn the data on-site and hand it over in situations like this.

帰ってパソコンに送られてきたデーターを見ようと思ったら保存して見ることが出来ません。メール転送で、見れないので携帯のアドレスを添付して携帯にデーターを送って下さいと連絡したのですが、全く送ってくることなくデーター購入したお金が捨てたのと同じで…ショックです。
こういう事もあるので、その場でデーターを焼いて渡すとかした方が良いと思います。

Since my child is small and unable to enjoy activities like snorkeling, we participated in a whale watching tour. There are many comments about not seeing whales on this tour, and unfortunately, we were no exception. However, the weather was nice, and when we went out on deck, the breeze felt pleasant. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach from the sea was quite lovely, and I thought it was worth participating at this price.

子供が小さくて、シュノーケリングなどのアクティビティが楽しめないので、ホエールウォッチングに参加しました。クジラが見えないというコメントも多々見られるこのツアーですが、ご他聞にもれず見ることができませんでした。しかしながら、天気が良く甲板にでると風が気持ちよく、海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキビーチもなかなか良いものであり、この値段なら参加価値はあるかナと思いました。

My daughter, despite her worries, started crying because she wanted to touch more and feed the fish. It seems she had a great time! If there's another opportunity, I would love to choose again!

娘は心配をよそに、もっと触りたい、お魚あげたいと泣き出すほど。とっても楽しかったようです！また機会があれば選びたいです！

We took our grandchildren on the Star of Honolulu whale watching cruise. Unfortunately the whales were elsewhere and not a single one was spotted. That certainly did not stop us from having a wonderful time. The day was beautiful, the boat comfortable, the staff very informative and friendly. The wonderful bonus, because there were no whales spotted, we have been given a return voucher good for anytime this whale watching season. A great value and will go again!

We departed from the harbor located further inside the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The staff spoke Japanese, so I felt at ease listening to their explanations.
The 150m parasailing offered breathtaking views!!
As a kind gesture, they let us splash into the sea while being pulled back to the boat from the air. The time spent heading out was also fun, like riding a jet ski.

アラモアナショッピングセンターの更に奥にある港から出発でした。スタッフの方は日本語喋れますし、安心して説明を聞けます。
150mのパラセーリングは絶景でした！！
ご厚意で、空から船へ紐を引っ張って戻るとき海にバシャバシャッと付けてもらいました。沖に出るまでの時間もジェットスキーみたいで楽しいです。

I have always wanted to interact with dolphins. During my trip to Hawaii, among the many dolphin tours available, I chose the Sea Life tour, which guarantees encounters with dolphins over the wild dolphin tours that are dependent on weather and luck! During the tour, we had an amazing time playing with the dolphins. We took pictures kissing them and high-fiving, which was very fulfilling! My whole family was delighted. Not only do we have memorable photos, but after playing with the dolphins, we were able to eat at the park and interact with other animals. It was a lot of fun. Thank you!

昔からイルカと触れ合ってみたいと思っていました。
ハワイ旅行で、イルカのツアーが沢山ある中
天候や運で左右される野生のイルカツアーより確実に会えるシーライフさんのツアーに参加しました！
ツアー中はイルカとめちゃくちゃ遊べます。キスする写真やハイタッチ等とても充実していました！
家族皆喜んでくれました。思い出となる写真が確実にあるのもそうですし、イルカと遊んだ後はパーク内で御飯を食べたり他の動物と遊べます。
とても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました！

At Kualoa Ranch, there were various activities, but I had a great time experiencing the four-wheeler buggy for a full two hours, which seems like something you can only do in Hawaii! It went faster than I expected, and at first, I was scared, but once I got used to it, it was really fun!! I could have probably ridden for another hour (＾_＾) I want to go again!

クアロアランチでは色々なアクティビティがありましたが、ハワイでしかできなさそうな四輪バギーを2時間たっぷり体験しました！思った以上にスピードが出て、初めは怖かったのですが、慣れれてくると本当に楽しい！！あと1時間くらい乗れたかも（＾_＾）また行きたいです！

We travel by boat from the shore to the open sea and board a submarine. The boat rocks a lot, but the submarine is quiet. The sight of the large schools of fish gathering around the reef is spectacular. While there aren't as many coral reefs as in Okinawa, it's a great experience to have at least once.

浜から沖まで船で移動し、潜水艦に乗艦します。船はよく揺れますが潜水艦は静かです。漁礁に群がる魚の大群は見ものです。沖縄のようにサンゴ礁はいっぱいありませんが一度経験するには最高です

I participated on New Year's Eve 2017. Unfortunately, it seems the whales were also taking a break and did not appear. I was disappointed that I couldn't see them.

Once on the boat, the first thing was the meal. The photo shows the front of the boat, but there are also seats and tables where you can eat comfortably. The meal was a hamburger, and it was delicious! The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat was beautiful.

The third floor has no windows, so the view is great, but once we set sail, the wind became quite strong, so it's best to finish your meal quickly. I thought that even if we saw whales, they would be far away, so I was mainly focused on the scenery, which met my expectations for satisfaction.

Above all, it was helpful that there was commentary in Japanese. I think I will try again someday for a revenge trip.

2017年大晦日に参加しました。
残念ながらクジラもお休みのようで現れず。残念ながら見ることが出来ませんでした。
船に乗るとまず食事です。写真は船先端ですが、それ以外はイスもテーブルもありゆっくり食べられます。食事はハンバーガーですが美味しくいただきました！また船から眺めるワイキキの街やダイヤモンドヘッドは綺麗でした。
3階は窓がないので眺めが良いですが、出航するとかなり風が強くなりますので、食事は早めに済ませましょう。
クジラは見えても遠いであろうと思っていたので、景色メインと考えて乗っていましたので期待通りの満足度としました。
何より日本語で解説があり、助かります。
いつかまたリベンジしよと思います。

This time, we participated with two adults and two children, a total of four people. The ranch is incredibly vast, and it's even more enjoyable when you compare it to the movie! The bus is very cold, so I recommend bringing warm clothing like a jacket. All the tour guides are entertaining, so definitely participate!

During the cruise, the captain's steering occasionally splashed water on the guests standing at the front, which got everyone excited. There were children on board as well, but it can be quite bumpy, so please be careful.

By the way, for lunch, there was a buffet with delicious dishes like meat, rice, and cake served during the tour, which was great.

今回、大人2人、子供2人の4人で参加です。
牧場は凄く広大で映画と照らし合わせて見るとより楽しいです！
バス内は凄く寒いので上着など温かいものを持っていくことをオススメします。どのツアーのガイドさんも面白いので是非是非参加してください！
クルーズはキャプテンの操縦によって、一番前に立っているお客さんには時折波がかかって、みんな興奮気味でした。子供さんもいましたが、結構揺れるので気をつけてください。
ちなみに、ランチですが、ツアーの合間でバイキングでお肉、お米、ケーキなど美味しい料理がでて、良かったです。

The staff aboard the vessel were accommodating and informative. There was a nice buffet with a full service bar. The captain went out of his way to make sure we had a whale sighting. There were professional photographers on board to capture photos of the whales if you miss getting your own in all the excitement of seeing a whale for the first time. I will definitely do this again on my next visit to the Island!

We participated in a 2-hour horseback riding course as a family of four. It was everyone's first time riding a horse, but thanks to the thorough video explanation and the kind guide, we quickly got used to it. I think the horses were all calm and obedient.

The tour allowed us to climb narrow mountain paths that can't be accessed by buggies, jeeps, or buses, so we were able to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery. I highly recommend the horseback riding course!

2時間の乗馬コースに家族4名で参加しました。
馬に乗るのは全員初めてでしたが、丁寧なビデオの説明と、親切なガイドの方のおかげですぐに慣れました。馬もおとなしい従順な馬ばっかりだったと思います。
ツアーでは、バギーやジープ、バスなどで入れない細い山道を登れるので、静かな雰囲気で良い景色を充分楽しむことが出来ました。乗馬コース、おすすめします！

Since it was my first winter trip to Hawaii in a while, I signed up for whale watching. Although I didn't see any whales, I did see rainbows twice. I was also moved to encounter a large pod of dolphins. I believe it was likely due to the tour company's consideration that they changed the course for us.

久しぶりの冬のハワイ旅行だったのでホエールウォッチングに申し込みました。
ホエールは見れなかったのですが、レインボーが2回。
あとイルカの大群に会え感動しました。
恐らくツアー会社の方の計らいでコースを変更してくださったのではないかと思っています。

I was really looking forward to my first whale watching experience, but I was a bit disappointed that we didn't see much. I understand it's nature, so it's unavoidable... However, the staff were very focused on taking photos for sale and occupied the best viewing spots. With so many people on the boat, if you miss out on a good spot, it feels like you're just sitting on the boat for hours without seeing anything. It was just cold, so I recommend being well-prepared for the cold weather.

ホエールウォッチングに初参加で楽しみにしていたのですが、
こんなにも見れないのかと少しガッカリでした。自然の生き物なので仕方がないですが…。
ただ、スタッフの方々は、販売用の写真を撮るのに必死で一番見やすい場所を陣取っているし、
船に乗っている人数も多いので、場所取りに失敗すると、何もせずにただ何時間も船に乗っているだけという感じでした。
ただただ寒く、防寒対策は万全にしていくのがおススメです。

I couldn't see any whales, but that's just how nature is, so there's nothing to be done about it. However, they said they would distribute tickets for the next time, yet there was no further information provided. It feels bad to get the impression that they think, "They're just tourists, so they won't come back." If that's the case, they shouldn't have said anything from the beginning.

Alternatively, they need to come up with some creative pricing strategies for cruises, like the icebreaker boats in Hokkaido, otherwise, it gives off a feeling of being left hanging because it's a foreign country. I wanted to see whales, but I should have gone to Okinawa instead. What a shame. The tour company really needs to think this through.

鯨に会えなかったの自然任せだからしょうがないけど、次回のチケット配ると言いながら、何も案内なし。
「旅行客だから、もう来ないだろう」みたいな感じが気分悪い。
それなら、初めから言わなきゃいいのに。
または北海道の流氷船みたいに、クルーズの場合の料金設定をする等の工夫しないと、異国だから的なやりっぱなし感広がるよ。
鯨見たかったけど、沖縄にすればよかった。
残念。
ツアー会社も考えなきゃダメよ。

Unfortunately, it was cold weather for snorkeling though tour itself was well coordinated.
And my image of sandbar was less water like land.
I want to try it again in warmer season.

We boarded with six family members. The weather was great, and we were impressed by the view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea! Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales, but the cruise was enjoyable. If whales don't appear, those who want to try again can receive a free reboarding ticket. If you have the time, it might be nice to go again!

家族６人で乗船しました。
お天気も良くて、海から見るワイキキビーチとダイヤモンドベッドに感激しました！
残念ながらクジラは見られませんでしたがクルーズは楽しかったです。
クジラが現れず、もう一度トライしたい方は、無料で再乗船のチケットがもらえます。
時間がある方はまた乗ってみても良いかもです！

I tried parasailing for the first time, and I'm glad I did! It was less scary than I expected, and I was able to enjoy the view from above!

はじめてパラセーリングにチャレンジしましたが、やって良かったです！
思ったより恐くなくむしろ空の上からの景色を楽しむことが出来ました！！

The weather was great on the day, and I was able to see whales about 10 times! There weren't too many people, so I was able to relax and enjoy it to the fullest!

当日は天気も良く10回程度クジラを見ることが出来ました！また人もそこまで多くなく、ゆったり過ごせたので最高でした！！

This time, we were unable to encounter any whales. Our schedule was packed during this trip, so we couldn't take advantage of the reboarding guarantee. Our next trip is planned for October, which is the off-season, but if we have another opportunity, we'll try again!

今回は、クジラに遭遇することが出来ませんでした。
今回の旅行では、日程も詰まっていたので、再乗船の保証も利用できず、次回の予定は１０月なので、シーズンオフ、また機会があれば再挑戦！

I participated in an early morning tour. On the bus ride there, the instructions were explained very clearly and cheerfully, and they taught us pressure points for motion sickness, which made the journey enjoyable. I tend to get motion sickness easily, so even with the pressure points and medication, I still felt sick. However, I was lucky that day to see both dolphins and sea turtles! Although we were told not to chase the dolphins, they actually approached us, and we had to move aside (laughs). Even when the dolphins were out of sight, I could hear their calls when I put my ears to the water, which felt quite mysterious. The sea turtles were far away, but I was still moved to see them. I couldn't eat the hamburger at the time because I was feeling sick, but it was delicious when I had it after returning home. I didn't bring much money, so I was disappointed that I couldn't order the photo data. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and if I have the chance, I would like to participate again while enduring the motion sickness.

朝早いツアーに参加しました。
行きのバスの中では注意事項などとても明るくわかりやすく説明していただき、酔い止めのツボなど教えていただき楽しく移動できました。
私はとても酔いやすいのでツボを押しても、酔い止めを飲んでも酔ってしまいましたが、その日は幸運でイルカもウミガメも会うことができました！
イルカは追っかけてはいけないとのことでしたが、イルカの方から近づいてきてくれてこちらがよけるほどでした(笑)イルカの姿が見えなくても耳を海面に入れると近い時には鳴き声が聞こえていることがわかり不思議な感じでした。
ウミガメは遠かったですがちゃんとみれて感動しました。
ハンバーガーは酔っていたのでその時は食べられませんでしたが、帰宅してから食べたらおいしかったです。
お金をほとんど持って行かなかったので、写真のデータを申し込むことが出来ず残念でした。
トータルで満足できる内容で機会があれば船酔いに耐えながらまた参加したいです。

The weather wasn't very good, and we couldn't see any whales at all. The constant chatter in English became increasingly annoying, and when it was clear there were no whales, they even started making up false claims like "Look, something at 5 o'clock!" It turned into the worst way to pass the time. While it's understandable since we are dealing with nature, it was truly disappointing! I was really let down.

お天気もあまり良くなく全くクジラは観ることができませんでした。
しゃべりっぱなしの英語の声がだんだん煩わしく耳障りになり、クジラがいないとわかるとわざと5時の方向に何かが！みたいな嘘の煽りまでする始末で最悪の時間つぶしになりました。自然が相手なので仕方ないとはいえ本当に残念！がっかりでした。

It was a stylish large cruise ship with little rocking, and even with a one-year-old, we were comfortable without any seasickness. Most importantly, I was thrilled to see the spouting, body, and tail perfectly.

オシャレな船内の大きな客船で、揺れも少なく、1歳児連れでしたが船酔いもなく快適でした。
そして何より、潮吹きも体も尻尾もバッチリ見れて感激しました
