Since I made a last-minute reservation, the shuttle service plan was fully booked, so I chose the non-shuttle, early morning, 2-hour horseback riding plan. I was a bit scared to drive in Hawaii since I wasn't used to it, so I took an Uber taxi, spending about 10,000 yen one way to get there. It takes about 45 minutes from Waikiki.

The ranch has lockers available for a fee, but when I went, they were out of order, so I was worried about participating with my backpack on. However, the instructor kindly asked me to take off my backpack, and I awkwardly asked the ticket counter staff to hold it for me. (I gave a tip when I got my belongings back after the experience.) I wasn't sure if this was the correct way to do it since my English wasn't sufficient… I slightly regretted not knowing if I should have given a tip when asking to hold my things, but the staff was very accommodating.

Small shoulder bags are also not allowed, so I used a waist bag and kept my valuables with me. *It seems carrying bags on your shoulder is not permitted.

Since the horseback riding experience is done in groups of six, it's understandable that reservations fill up quickly!

I had read beforehand that helmets can cause headaches, so I tried on several to find one that fit well.

The horseback riding experience was absolutely amazing. I was able to enjoy the vast land, impressive mountains, and the gentle, wise horses as we moved along slowly, taking in nature. Although the sky was unfortunately cloudy, it added to the atmosphere and was wonderful. The instructor primarily spoke in English, but occasionally provided instructions in Japanese, which I appreciated despite feeling a bit guilty.

At one point, the instructor took photos with her iPhone and shared them via Airdrop at the end of the experience.

I also passed by customers on four-wheeler buggies and bus tours, happily greeting them with "Aloha!" and had a great time.

The experience ended just after 10 AM, allowing me to make the most of the rest of the day, creating wonderful memories.

直前に予約したため、送迎付きのプランは予約いっぱいで選べず…
送迎なし・朝イチの、乗馬2時間プランを選択しました。
ハワイで慣れない車の運転をするのは少し怖かったので、
ウーバータクシーを使って片道約10,000円かけて現地まで向かいました。
ワイキキ からは４５分くらいで到着できます。

牧場には、有料で使用できるロッカーが常設されているのですが、
私が行った時は故障していて使えず…
リュックを背負ったまま参加なのかな…と思っていたら
インストラクターさんからバックパックはおろしてくださいね〜と注意があり、
アワアワしながらチケットカウンターのお姉さんにバックパックを預かってもらいました。
(体験後、荷物を返してもらう際にチップを渡しました。)
↑英語が十分に話せなかったため、これが正しい方法なのか不明です…
普通預かってもらうときにチップ渡すべき…？と少し後悔しておりますが
ひとまず、スタッフさんは快く預かってくれました。

小さなショルダーバッグもNGなので、
ウエストバッグにして、貴重品は所持していました。
※荷物を肩にかけるのはNGとのこと

乗馬は６人１組で体験するので、
予約がすぐに埋まってしまうのも頷けました！

事前に、ヘルメットで頭が痛くなる…という体験談を読んでいたため、
いくつか試着してちょうど良いものを選びました。

乗馬体験はもう、それはそれは最高で、
広大な大地、迫力のある山々、
穏やかで賢いお馬ちゃんたちと一緒にポクポクとゆっくり進みながら、
楽しく自然を感じることができました。
生憎の曇り空でしたが、それもそれで雰囲気があって最高です。
インストラクターのお姉さんは、９割英語での説明ですが
時折日本語で一生懸命指示してくれて、申し訳ない気持ちと共に有り難かったです。

途中で、お姉さんのiPhoneで写真を撮ってくれて、
体験の終わりにAirdropで共有してくれました。

４輪バギーや、バスツアーのお客さんともすれ違って、
「アロハ〜」と陽気に挨拶しながらめちゃくちゃ楽しみました。

体験は１０時過ぎにには終了したので、
その後の1日も有効に過ごせてとても良い思い出です。

My first time on a Segway.
At first, I was scared, but I got used to it quickly. Turning right and left and zipping through the wind was so much fun!
The guide's stories were interesting, and I got to take a lot of photos.
The two hours flew by, and next time I want to join the course that goes to downtown.

初めてのセグウェイ。
最初は怖かったけどすぐに慣れました。右に左に曲がったり風を切って走ったり、楽しい！
ガイドさんのお話も面白いし、いっぱい写真も撮っていただきました。
あっという間の2時間、次回はダウンタウンに行くコースに参加したいです。

Wowzers! Talk about an adventurous trip used wisely! We had such an amazing time! My husband and our 10 year old son couldn’t stop raving about how much fun we had and how our 2 hosts, whose names were Dom and Isaiah- made us laugh the whole time we were there. These guys deserve a lot of LOVE for making sure all these tourists (some with uptight attitudes) were safe, and charmingly educated us with the information of beautiful Hawaii. They were so professional, warm, kind and hilarious which made our trip even more fun. We saw so many cows and horses on the ranch, and took time to take pictures and learn about the ranch. Do be mindful to take a bandana or a mask, as you will end up dirty and dusty once it’s over. We all had a dirt mustache when the trip was over. Dom and Isaiah are talented young men who made the trip more fun- thanks for being great leaders! Cheers from San Francisco

We had a wonderful time. Great family entertainment. The food was good too. It was top notch entertainment with the local feel. Hawaii should be proud of the information given for the Polynesian culture. It was very enlightening and entertaining. I'd recommend this luau to anyone who is visiting the island. Please be kind to the staff, they are stars too. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

It was a wonderful experience for beginners. Our instructor was patient and explained everything thoroughly. I liked that we snorkeled in a cove making the waters calm.

There is almost no support in Japanese. We participated as a family with children, but since we couldn't understand English, the kids got bored. I wouldn't recommend it if you can't speak English. Unless you really want to see the dance here, I wouldn't recommend it.

We were staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and there was a show available for about the same price, so I regretted not going there as it would have saved us travel time.

家族旅行で子連れで参加しましたが、英語が理解できないので、子供もあきてしまいました。英語ができない場合はおすすめしません。　　
英語で鑑賞したい、どうしてもここのダンスをみたいという希望でなければ、おすすめしません。

ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジに泊まっており、同じくらいの値段でショーがあったので、そちらでみたら移動時間も省けたのでと後悔しました。

There was a bit of a wait for the buffet, but there were plenty of Hawaiian dishes like roast beef, teriyaki chicken, and fried fish, including lomi lomi salmon, so I was able to eat to my heart's content. The drinks were delicious too; my favorite was the lava flow. The show was a surprisingly authentic performance. The quick costume changes and powerful performances were truly amazing!

ビュッフェの待ち時間は多少ありましたが、ローストビーフや照り焼きチキン、お魚のフライ
ロミロミサーモンなどハワイらしい料理もたくさんあってお腹いっぱい食べれました。
ドリンクも美味しかったです。ラバフローがお気に入りです。
ショーは予想以上に本格的なパフォーマンスでした。皆さん早着替え、迫力あるパフォーマンス本当にすごいです…！

I swam while being careful not to touch the coral and keeping my face in the water, but there were few fish, and I didn't encounter any turtles. The waves were present, and since I couldn't touch the bottom for nearly an hour, I got quite tired.

ひたすら、珊瑚に足をつかないように気を付けて、顔をつけるようにして、泳ぎましたが、魚は少なく、亀にもあえませんでした。
波もあり、1時間近く足がつけないので、かなり疲れました。

Absolutely amazing combination. Scenery and guides were excellent. Bit disappointed in the movie tour as part of sets deteriorated because of passage of time. Also thought you would see more of current sets. Farm Tour was very interesting which also included some movie sets. Lunch was excellent.

Overall great day out and fantastic place that is trying to maintain green friendly eco systems and preserve area for future generations.

Would definitely go again as there were other trips like zip lining which we did not have time to do,

It was tough to wake up early, but it was fun. I've been to Hawaii many times, but it was my first time swimming at Hanauma Bay. I was surprised to see so many different types of fish! It was very beautiful. During the one-hour snorkeling, I lost track of time. I wanted to swim more. The guide was also very kind. I would like to participate again.

何度もHawaiiに来てますが初めてハナウマ湾で泳ぎました。
思ったより沢山の種類のお魚が見れてビックリ!とても奇麗でした。1時間のスノーケリングで時間を忘れてしまうほど。もっと泳いでいたかったです。

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time parasailing. The meeting place was easy to find, and the staff at the reception were friendly. Along with the captain and crew, we set off with other foreign tourists. We were the first ones to go parasailing among the passengers. Not knowing what to expect, we quickly ascended into the sky! Despite being a bit scared, I was captivated by the beautiful scenery. It felt like we were taking a stroll in the air over Hawaii, even feeling a little bit of turbulence along the way. Although it lasted only about 10 minutes, I was satisfied with the thrill and breathtaking views that you can't experience in everyday life. At first, I was too nervous, so I would love to go again with a calmer mindset. I wonder when my next trip to Hawaii will be...

ハワイは何度か行っていますが、今回初パラセイリングでした。
集合場所はわかりやすく、受付の方も親切でした。
キャプテンとクルーに加えて私たちと外国人の観光客の方たちで出発。
乗客に中で、私たちが一番最初にパラセイリング。
勝手がわからずドンドンと上空へ！ビビりながらも景色の良さに惚れ惚れしました。途中ちょっとの揺れなども感じながらハワイの空中を散歩している感じです。
正味10分程度なのですが、日常では味わえないスリルと感動の景色に満足しました。最初の頃はビビりすぎていたので、心にゆとりを持ってもう一回行きたいですね。次回のハワイはいつになることか…

Perhaps due to the approaching typhoon, the water clarity was poor, and the waves made it difficult to stay in one place. I felt that it would have been better to choose another day. However, our tour guide Dan was kind and helped my tired wife, for which I am grateful. Despite this, Hanauma Bay still offered many fish, including large and beautiful ones, making the snorkeling worthwhile. Additionally, the life jackets were of the type that you inflate yourself, so as someone who wanted to dive, I was able to snorkel without the hindrance of buoyancy, allowing me to swim joyfully. Next time, if the weather is good, I would like to sign up for the same tour again.

台風接近後であったためか、水の透明度が悪いのと、波もあって落ち着いて定位置にいられない。
これなら、日を改めたほうが良かったと感じた。
ただ、ツアーガイドのダンさんは優しく、疲れたかみさんをフォローしてくれて、感謝です。
ハナウマ湾はそれでも多くの魚と大きくて綺麗な魚が見ることが出来、シュノーケリングの価値はあります。
さらに言うと、ライフジャケットは、自分で空気を入れて膨らますタイプなので、潜りたい自分としては、邪魔な浮力がない状態でシュノーケリングが出来るので、楽しく泳げました。
次回、天候の良いときに機会があれば同じツアーに申し込みたいと思います。

All families were very happy & having so much fun. It was really fantastic trip. I want to revisit when I come back to Hawaii. Thank you for all kindly arrangements.

We were torn between the four-wheeler and the e-bike experience, but since it was just the two of us, we chose the e-bike. As a couple in our fifties, we were concerned about our stamina, but the e-assist was quite powerful (with three levels), so that was not an issue. However, please note that those under 150 cm may have difficulty reaching the ground.

四輪バギーと迷いましたが夫婦2人での参加でしたので、eバイクの体験にしました。
アラフィフ夫婦の為、体力の心配がありましたがeアシストの力がかなり強く（3段階）その点は問題ありませんでした。
ただ、150ｃｍ以下の方は足がつかない可能性がありますのでその点はご注意ください。

So very glad I booked this excursion.
This was definitely by far one of our best excursions. We were able to see and learn so much about all the different movies filmed at this location. The trips were well timed and spaced apart enough that they did not overlap into one another. The guides were knowledgeable and very accommodating. Lunch was really good with great selections. I feel like a trip to O’ahu is not complete without this excursion. Will definitely recommend this excursion to others visiting Hawai’i.

I participated with my family of four, my brother, and my sister-in-law, making a total of six people. The weather was nice, and the instructor was kind, but since I don't ride horses often, the last 30 minutes were really tough due to the pain in my inner thighs and the hardness of the helmet during the two-hour session. I think one hour would have been enough. However, the scenery was wonderful, and the horses were cute.

　家族4人と兄、義姉の6人で参加しました。天気も良く、インストラクターのお姉さんも優しかったのですが、クラに乗る事がないので2時間だと内腿の痛みとヘルメットの硬さで最後の30分はまじ，つらかったです。
　1時間で十分だと思いました。
でも、景色も素晴らしく、馬も可愛いかったです。

We participated as a couple in our fifties.
It was our first time surfing, and I was worried because the instructions were in English.
There were two instructors for our group of six.
They were very attentive and made sure that I, the least skilled among us, wasn't left behind by frequently checking on me.
I am truly grateful for that.
During the two-hour session, I was able to ride three times.
I’m happy to have had the experience of surfing in the waters of Hawaii.

As for the drone, it cost $75 for two people.
At the same time, there was a group of eight doing SUP, and they also requested the drone.
The drone filmed both surfing and SUP with one unit.
The data we received included footage and photos of the SUP participants as well.
(I believe it was all the data captured during that time.)
This means that our footage and photos were also shared with the SUP group, which honestly bothered me.

Additionally, since surfing and SUP were conducted in slightly different locations, I think there was inevitably less footage and photos of us.
I noticed that there were more images and videos from the SUP group since their data was included as well. (Of course, the number of participants plays a role in this.)

Surfing itself was a lot of fun, and I was sore not just the next day but from that very day, but it was truly enjoyable.
When you come to Hawaii, I think engaging in activities that are characteristic of Hawaii is a great idea!

アラフィフ夫婦で参加。
初めてのサーフィン、英語の説明ということもあり、心配でした。
6名に2名のインストラクターがついてくれました。
とても気にかけて下さり、6名の中で一番へたな私が置いていかれないように、よく声をかけてくださりました。
本当に感謝です。
2時間の間に３回乗れることができました。
ハワイの海でサーフィンの体験ができたことがうれしいです。

ドローンですが、2人で75ドルでした。
同じ時間にＳＵＰの方（8人1グループ）がおり、その方たちもドローンをお願いしていました。
ドローン1台でサーフィンとＳＵＰの両方を撮影していました。
いただいたデータは、ＳＵＰの方の映像・写真も入っていました。
（同じ時間に撮ったデータ全部だと思います）
ということは、私たちの映像・写真もＳＵＰの方たちのところに渡されているということΣ(ﾟдﾟlll)ｶﾞｰﾝ、正直それは嫌でした。

また、サーフィンとＳＵＰは行っている場所が少し違うので、どうしても映像・写真が少なかったと思います。
こちらにもＳＵＰのデータがきているので、そちらの映像・写真が多いのが気になりました。（もちろん人数の比もあると思います）

サーフィン自体はとても楽しく、翌日どころかその日から筋肉痛でしたが、とても楽しかったです。
せっかくハワイに来たときは、ハワイらしいアクティビティいいと思います！！

The Magical Mystery Show at the Hilton Waikiki Beach is seriously one of the best things to do in the evening in Waikiki! My friends and I had an absolute blast from start to finish. When we arrived, we were greeted with a delicious cocktail and escorted into the Museum of Curiosities. There, a talented magician entertained us with captivating stories about how King David Kalakaua brought the concept of "salon performance" to Hawaii from England. Once we discovered the secret password, we entered the main theater. Let me tell you, the room is cozy and beautifully decorated with vintage furniture and comfy chairs.
But here's the best part - the interaction with the performers was absolutely outstanding! It honestly felt like we were getting our own personal magic show. The close-up magic was incredibly engaging, and it was a hit with both the adults and the kids. We laughed so much and were completely impressed beyond words by the mind-blowing tricks! Every single part of the magic show was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable. And let me just say, it was totally worth every penny! I can't recommend it enough!
Seriously, what a unique activity. It's perfect for a rainy day or any day, really. You're guaranteed plenty of laughs. Trust me, you won't regret it!

The SHARP mask was a great help. I was able to avoid inhaling the thick dust.

Goggles were essential. I'm glad I didn't forget to borrow them.

They didn't check the seatbelt safety at all, so when I was in trouble, I had to wave my hand to get their attention and have them check it as needed.

I didn't have time to ask how to adjust the seatbelt, so I could only barely reach the accelerator with my toes, but it was good that I could accelerate just by pressing it a little. I realized that from a certain point on, I didn't need to grip the steering wheel tightly; light handling was sufficient.

I watched a Japanese video, but it was explained by a man who is not a native Japanese speaker, and his intonation was strange and hard to understand. If you're going to make a Japanese video, it should be explained by a Japanese expert or a native speaker.

The female staff member was kind. I had a lot of fun.

濃いめの砂ぼこりを吸い込まずに済みました。

ゴーグルは必須でした。借り忘れなくてよかった。

シートベルトの安全確認等は全くしてくれないので、
困った時は手を振って来てもらって、随時確認してもらう必要があった。

シートベルトの調節方法を聞く時間がなく、かろうじて届くくらいのアクセルをつま先で踏む程度だったが、少し踏むだけで加速させられたのでよかった。途中からハンドルはそんなに握りしめなくても、軽い操作で良いことに気がついた。

日本語のビデオを見たが、日本語母語話者でない男性が説明していて、その人の日本語のイントネーションが変で聞きづらかった。日本語のビデオを作るなら、日本語超級者か日本語母語話者が日本語で説明しているビデオにすべき。

女性の係の人が親切でした。すごく楽しかった。

There are a lot of amazing reviews, but I didn't find it to be that great.

Reason 1: "The boat is too small, and there isn't enough space to change or sit." Since this is a quite profitable tour, I wish they would use a bigger and more functional boat. Even when it starts to rain, if there are many customers, there isn't enough space for everyone to get under the roof.

Reason 2: "They don't lend wetsuits." Since we swim in quite deep water, I think they should provide wetsuits for safety. However, as mentioned earlier, the boat is small and there are no showers. Improvements are needed for both the boat itself and safety management.

The hamburger was similar to Mos Burger. It was tasty, but it felt pretty average.

The bus, like others have mentioned in their reviews, was cold. It would be nice if we could take our time changing on the boat, but the boat's restroom is cramped, making it difficult to change. There are no showers on the boat either.

The time we could swim was not very long. We saw turtles, but there weren't many fish. The sandbar wasn't as heavenly as one might expect, and it wasn't that stunningly beautiful.

Reason 3: The timing is too late. If they departed earlier, I think there would be more fish, but we arrive at the sandbar close to noon, so I believe the timing is too late. By the time we start snorkeling, the sea has already begun to get murky. It would be better to leave around 7 AM.

The guide (?), a Japanese woman, was very kind, but she was in a bikini from start to finish, which made me wonder, "Why?" The foreign female staff member was also in a thong bikini. She has a great figure, but I don't think it's necessary to be in a bikini the whole time (especially on the boat). Is the bikini style part of the service? That must be tough.

ものすごくよい口コミが多いですが、それほどでもなかったです。

その理由1 「船が小さすぎて着替える場所も座る場所も十分ではない」ということ。かなり儲かっているツアーなので、もっとでかくて機能的な船にしてほしい。
雨が降ってきても、客が多いと全員が屋根の下に入れるスペースもない。

理由2「ウェットスーツは貸してくれない」
結構水深の深いところで泳ぐので、安全のためにもウェットスーツを貸してくれるべきだと思う。
だけど、前述のとおり船は小さいし、シャワーもついてない。船自体と安全管理について
の改善が必要。

ハンバーガーは、モスバーガーみたいでした。おいしかったけど、これもふつうかなという感じ。

バスは、他の人の口コミと同じように、寒い。なので、船でゆっくり着替えたりできると良いのですが、船のトイレは狭いので、着替えにくかった。船にはシャワーもついてない。

泳いでられる時間もそんなに長くない。亀はみれたけど、魚もそんなにいなかった。サンドバーも天国といえるほどではなく、そんなに感動的なほどきれいでもない。

その3　時間帯が遅すぎる。
もっと早い時間帯に出発すれば、魚もいるんじゃないかと思うけど、正午近くにサンドバーに着くので、これも時間設定が遅すぎると思う。シュノーケリングするころには、既に海はにごりはじめている。
７時とか出発にすれば良いんじゃないか。

ガイドさん（？）は、日本人の女性がとても親切でしたが、最初から最後までビキニで、「なんでかな？」と思いました。スタッフの外国人の女性もひもパンでした。スタイル良いけど、ずっとビキニでいる必要はないのでは・・・（特に船上）。ビキニスタイルもサービスの一環なのかな？　大変ですね。

These guys have the operation perfected. I recommend. taking the very first shuttle in the morning and sacrificing a little sleep to do so. The payoff will be no one in the bay and everything to yourself for the first 30 to 40 minutes. Even after that, you will still have the crowds beat.

This was my first time using this service. Thanks to the smart horses, I have wonderful memories of my trip to Hawaii! I enjoyed the beautiful sea and mountains of the North Shore from the back of a horse, which was even higher than I expected, in a relaxed and leisurely manner. It was the best! Thank you!

I was able to take photos with my phone while riding, and I felt reassured that there was no pressure to buy anything after the tour. At the photo point with the ocean in the background, the staff took pictures for us with our phones.

A friend of mine who has riding experience felt that just walking was a bit lacking, but I prioritized safety and had plenty of fun. All the instructions were in English, but I was able to understand most of it through gestures. For any unclear points, I confirmed with hand signals.

I don't know if it's just the relaxed atmosphere of Hawaii or if Japanese people are particularly punctual, but when I arrived with plenty of time to spare, I ended up waiting quite a while past the meeting time. Another group arrived before us, but we ended up riding first (maybe due to reservations?), which was quite frustrating.

ノースショアのきれいな海と山を思った以上に高いお馬さんの背中の上から、ゆっくりのんびり堪能しました。最高でした！ありがとうございました！

乗馬しながら携帯で写真を撮ることができ、ツアー後に売りつけられることもなく安心です。海をバックにしたポイントでは、スタッフさんが私たちの携帯で写真を撮ってくれます。

乗馬経験のある友人は、歩くだけでは少し物足りなかったようですが、私は安全第一、十分楽しめました。説明はすべて英語ででしたが、だいたい動作で理解できました。不明な点は、身振り手振りで再確認しました。
ハワイ全体がのんびりなのか、日本人が律儀なのか、集合時間に余裕をもって行ったところ、集合時間を過ぎてもだいぶ待たされました。違うグループは私たちより先に到着していたのに乗馬は私たちが先で（予約の関係？）結構イライラされていました。

Even I, who am not good at sports, had a great time riding. The wind felt wonderful, it was the best! It was so much fun, and we had a blast as a family. There’s a Giovanni's in the food court near the Segway shop where we enjoyed garlic shrimp. The area is filled with murals, and we had an efficient and enjoyable half day. Next time, I want to join the morning session.

セグウェイ店の近くのマート内フードコートにジョバンニがありガーリックシュリンプを堪能。周辺は壁画も多く、半日で効率良く楽しめました。次は朝の回に参加してみたいです。

Driving a four-wheeler without an international license felt like a scene from a movie with six vehicles lined up.
The guide was kind and pleasant.
At Kualoa Ranch, it was okay to add activities based on the time we had, but the popular zip line sells out quickly.

クアロア牧場での滞在時間を見てアクティビティを追加もOKでしたが、人気のジップラインはsold outが早いです。

The morning pickup location was in front of the Twin Fin Hotel, so I walked from my accommodation. A large bus labeled "Kualoa Ranch" arrived, and most of the participants were from overseas. Once we arrived, there was a tour guide for Japanese participants, which was great. The buggy experience was guided entirely in English, so I couldn't understand what was being said, but I felt reassured because I could watch instructional videos in Japanese. The accelerator is quite heavy, so you need to press it firmly to move forward. I am 148 cm tall, and unfortunately, the seatbelt was tight, and I couldn't reach the pedals to drive, which was disappointing, but overall it was a very enjoyable tour. I had prepared myself after reading other people's reviews, but I was surprised at how dirty we got. I recommend that women bring cleansing wipes and moisturizing cream! 朝のピックアップ場所はツインフィンホテルの前だったので、宿泊先から歩いて行きました。
大きなバスでクアロアランチとかかれた送迎車がきて、ほとんどが海外の参加者でした。
現地についてから、日本人参加者には、園内案内。日本語のガイドさんがいてくださったので良かったです。バギー体験は全て英語のガイドなので、何を言ってるかわかりませんでしたが、操作については日本語動画を見れるので安心できます。アクセルの踏み込みが重たいので、思い切り踏まないと進まないです。私は身長が148センチなのですが、シートベルとがかたく、足が届かず運転できなかったのが残念でしたが、総じてとっても楽しいツアーでした。他の方の口コミを見て覚悟はしてましたが、びっくりするくらい汚れます。女性は、クレンジングシートと保湿クリームを所持されることをおすすめします！あとは、行きのバスの中ぎとても寒かったです。

Great day buzzing through the forests on the ranch! Lots of dirt!

We had the most amazing experience!! We brought our daughter to Hawaii for her high school graduation and she loved this tour. We had the best tour guides ever!! And we would do it over and over again if we lived here. Just make sure you bring comfy clothes, comfy shoes you really don’t mind getting wet/dirty, and females you will get your face super dirty and wet…so make sure you at least bring a little extra face wash/sunscreen.

We had such a great time on this snorkeling trip! It was very planned, the crew was polite, accommodating and very friendly and the lunch was delicious. Our whole experience was incredibly enjoyable. Word of advice to the future participants- listen carefully to the instructions before snorkeling and you’ll see a lot under the water. We saw many fish and a turtle. It was amazing!

The hamburger I had for lunch was amazing! I wasn't expecting much, but it was overwhelmingly better than the burgers around here!

I visited Hanauma Bay for the first time this time. Before making a reservation, I considered going on my own instead of a tour, but I was glad I chose to book a tour.

First of all, Hanauma Bay is reservation-only and very popular, so securing an entry reservation is quite difficult. Additionally, the parking lot is extremely crowded upon arrival, and the guidance is complicated, so if you don't have a decent understanding of English, you might struggle. There are also announcements regarding precautions before entry, but everything is in English, and there is no Japanese guidance, so it can be challenging to understand the content if you're not familiar with English.

By booking a tour, I was able to secure an entry reservation without any issues, and the transportation from the hotel to the site, along with Japanese interpretation and explanations, made the process much smoother. Thanks to the tour allocation, I was able to enter without unnecessary waiting time compared to general visitors.

The snorkeling itself was also very easy because the guides were very experienced and explained everything clearly. (For example, they advised me to unlock my smartphone in advance if I wanted to take photos.) While swimming, there was a guide swimming at the front, and another guide watching carefully from behind. They kept an eye out for participants who seemed to be struggling and would lead us to areas with plenty of fish, so I felt safe participating.

On the day I went, there was some wind and slightly higher waves, so the water was a bit murky, and the visibility didn't seem very high, but I think that's just due to the weather and sea conditions. Even in those conditions, it was enjoyable, so I believe it’s worth going. Even if you don't swim, Hanauma Bay is beautiful just to look at.

In my personal opinion, during the transportation from the hotel to the site, we passed through local areas that are not typically visited on trips, and the local guide provided detailed explanations, allowing me to learn about a side of Hawaii that is not just the tourist spots, which made me happy.

If anyone is considering booking a tour, I would highly recommend it.

今回初めてハナウマ湾を訪れました。
予約前はツアーではなく自力で行くことも検討していましたが、ツアーを申込んで正解でした。
まず、ハナウマ湾は予約制かつとても人気なので入場予約を取ることがそもそも難しいです。
さらに到着後の駐車場は非常に混雑しており、案内も複雑なので英語をそれなりに理解してないと手こずるかと思います。
また入場前に注意事項等の案内がありますがすべて英語で日本語案内などはありませんので、ここも英語に慣れている方でないと内容理解が難しいです。
ツアーを申込むと入場予約を確実に取ることが出来、ホテルから現地までの送迎、日本語での通訳・説明、また入場する際もツアー枠？のおかげか一般の方よりもかなりスムーズに無駄な待ち時間もなく入ることが出来ました。

またシュノーケル自体もガイドの方たちが非常に慣れていて、分かりやすく説明してくださるのでとてもやりやすかったです。
（例えば、スマホを持っていって撮影したいなら事前にロック解除をしといた方がいいですよ、など細かくアドバイスを下さいました）
泳いでる最中も先頭で泳ぐガイドさんの他に後ろできちんと見守ってくださるガイドさんがいらっしゃいます。辛そうにしてる参加者などがいないかしっかり見ていてくださり、魚がたくさんいる場所に手を引いて連れて行ってくれたりしますので安心して参加できます。

私が行った日は風があり波が少し高い日だったので海の中も少し濁っていて、透明度はあまり高くないように感じましたが、それは天候や海の状態なので仕方ないことだと思います。
そんな状態でも楽しかったので行く価値はあると思います。また泳がなくてもハナウマ湾は見てるだけでも美しい海です。

個人的な意見にはなりますが、ホテルから現地までの送迎の際、旅行ではあまり行かないローカルエリアなどを通るのですが、現地ガイドさんがここも細かく説明してくださって観光地としてのハワイではないハワイを知ることが出来たので嬉しかったです。

もしツアー申込みを検討されてる方がいらっしゃればおすすめしたいと思います。
