This was my first time climbing Diamond Head, and I wasn't sure about the procedures for the climb or how to get there, so I decided to book a shuttle plan. I signed up for a pickup at 6:20, but the day before, I received a notification that the time had changed to 7:20. I was able to confirm this change through a phone call and email from the hotel front desk, so I wasn't worried.

On the day of the pickup at 7:20, I arrived early and waited, and the car arrived right on time. The driver was a very pleasant man, and I was able to depart without any anxiety, making the climb enjoyable. There were children and elderly people climbing as well, but it was surprisingly tough. I think it's best to wear proper hiking shoes and clothing. (The night before, there had been rain and strong winds, but it was sunny in the morning. However, there were some muddy spots, so caution is needed during the rainy season.)

After finishing the climb and returning to the car, I was given a cold bottle of water. When I asked the driver, "We would like to stop by a nearby café on the way back, is it better to part ways here?" he immediately seemed to understand and asked for the name of the café, saying, "You can go ahead and drop you off there." Since it was a café near Diamond Head, I was dropped off there instead of at the hotel. I really appreciated the kindness and felt safe participating in this experience. Thank you very much. (On the way back from the café, I enjoyed a pleasant walk back to my hotel in Waikiki.)

ダイヤモンドヘッドに登るのは初めてで、登るための手続きもよくわからないし、現地に行くのにどうするか…と考えるのも面倒だったので送迎プランを申し込みました。6:20お迎えのプランで申し込みましたが、前日になって時間変更の連絡があり、7:20に変更に。その連絡はホテルのフロントからの電話とメールで確認ができたので不安はありませんでした。
当日は7:20お迎えだったので早めに待機しておりましたが、時間ぴったりに車が到着しました。とても感じのいい男性ドライバーさんで、不安なく出発→登山も楽しくできました。子供や年配の方も登っていますが、意外ときついです。きちんと登山しやすい靴・服装でいくといいと思います。（前日の夜に雨と強風が吹いており、当日朝は晴れておりました。ですが、少し足元がぬかるんでいるところがあったので、雨季は注意が必要です。）
登山を終えて車に戻ると、冷たいお水（ペットボトル）を渡してくださいました。そして、「私たちは帰りに近くのカフェに寄りたいので、ここで解散したほうがいいですか？」とドライバーさんに聞くと、すぐにそのカフェのことがわかったようでそのカフェの名前を言って聞いてくださり、「乗って行っていいよ」と言ってくださいました。ダイヤモンドヘッド近くのカフェなので、ホテルではなくカフェ近くで降ろしていただきました。とても親切で、安心して参加させていただけたことに感謝しております。ありがとうございました。（カフェの帰りはお散歩がてらワイキキのホテルまで歩いて帰りましたが気持ちよかったです。）

We participated in a whale watching tour as a family of four. The size of the boat was large, it swayed little, and it was comfortable. The hospitality and the cake were delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that we didn't see the whales we were hoping for.

But we were able to see Diamond Head and Aloha Tower from the sea, which can only be viewed from the land, and the vast ocean that stretched on endlessly provided breathtaking views that exceeded our expectations. Although we didn't see any whales, the stunning scenery we experienced more than made up for it.

I believe the various people from different countries who joined the tour were also satisfied. Since we participated from Japan, it’s difficult to visit again soon, but I look forward to joining again next time. Thank you very much.

家族4人でホエールウォッチングツアーに参加しました。
船の規模も大きく揺れも少なく快適、おもてなしのケーキも美味しかったです。
ただ期待してた鯨が見れなかったのが少し残念です。
でも陸地からしか見れないダイアモンドヘッド、アロハタワーを海側から見れたり、ずっと続く広大な海海、期待以上の絶景の展開ばかりでした。鯨が見れなかったけれど、見られた絶景が十分カバーされていました。
一緒にツアーに参加していたいろいろな国々の方も満足されたと思います。
日本からの参加なので、すぐにまた訪れることは難しいですが、次に参加した時に楽しみにしたいと思います。

We were so disappointed with our Sunset Dinner Cruise this week.
Why oh why, when a company has it just right, do they get greedy and take away the finesse?
Having taken the steak & lobster package last year, we were so looking forward to repeating the experience - but it failed to live up to expectations.
The singer couldn't sing; we had to queue for our starter (only lettuce plated at the table; the lobster was not prepared, we were provided with lobster crackers and a pick (not what we were expecting, dressed in our best clothes); there was no finger bowl or wet wipe; our steaks were cold and the server came so infrequently we did not get to use two of our drinks vouchers.
Shame on you.

The view from the seaside, especially from above, is amazing! The guide is very cheerful and keeps us entertained. (The photo is from that time.) The photo costs $40, but it's worth buying; the content is satisfying.

I’ve been on various snorkeling tour options before, but this one was quite disappointing for the price. There was no thorough explanation, just “do as you like.” The cold weather was unavoidable, but everyone felt cold on the boat. In the end, they managed to serve us tea, but it was too late; many were already shivering. I wish they would consider the situation a bit more at those moments.

寒かったのは天候で仕方なかったけど船の中でみんな寒いって感じで最後なんとかお茶出してくれたけど遅い結構みんな震えてたもう少しその時その時考えてほしい

We were able to relax and enjoy the show from a very good seat with our family. We were also satisfied because we could see the fireworks perfectly. The food was quite tasty as well.

とても見やすい席で家族でゆっくり観ることができました。
花火もばっちり見れて満足です。
ご飯もそれなりに美味しかったです。

Two crew members entertained us a lot and took many photos for $40. They transferred the photos to my iPhone right after we disembarked and gave us an SD card. They took about 150 photos, including some scenic views from the ship. When they asked if it was okay to drop into the sea, I said yes, and they played with us a lot. It was the best activity!

2人のクルーがたくさん楽しませてくれて、40ドルで写真もたくさん撮ってくれます。下船後すぐにiPhoneに読み込みをしてくれて、SDカードをくれます。150枚ぐらい写真を撮ってくれて、船からの景色も混ぜてくれています。
じゃぼん(海に落と)して良いか聞かれてOKするとたくさん遊んでくれます。最高のアクティビティーでした。

We had a great time on the movie tour and delicious lunch and a beautiful catamaran ride seeing some turtles

I was very moved by the beautiful view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above. Additionally, during the photo shoot, there was a unique touch using a shark doll, as shown in the shared photos, which made for a very fun memory. I was also impressed by how they provided attentive service until the end, not only saving the photos directly to my phone when I purchased them but also offering an SD card!

上空からワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドの美しい景色を一望することができ、とても感動しました。
また、写真撮影の際には、共有した写真にもあるようにサメの人形を使ったユニークな演出があり、とても楽しい思い出になりました。
写真を購入すると、その場で携帯電話にデータを保存してくれるだけでなく、SDカードも提供してもらえるなど、最後まで丁寧に対応してもらえた点も印象に残っています！

I absolutely loved the Hawaiian singers on this tour. It was the highlight of my tour and my whole trip. Lived the Guava jelly song.

The driver was a cheerful person. It was fun! On the day I participated, most of the attendees were Japanese. They provided timely pick-up and drop-off services.

The morning was quite challenging. I didn't read the voucher carefully, and the meeting place was not at the hotel where I was staying, but about a 7-minute walk away.

Since I arrived 15 minutes early, I was able to make it to the correct meeting place on time. The driver didn't understand any Japanese, but he was a really nice person.

The activity was amazing. The explanations and registration before it started were a bit difficult, but the view afterward was fantastic. The explanations were in English, so I didn't understand most of it, but just watching the guide's way of speaking and expressions was enjoyable.

When it rains, the dust doesn't rise, but you get quite wet, so I think it's a good idea to buy a poncho on-site.

It was stated that there would be staff available who could speak Japanese, but after the initial greeting, everything was in English. There were no staff members who understood Japanese.

日本語対応可能スタッフがいると記載があったが、最初の挨拶以降は全て英語。日本語がわかるスタッフはいませんでした。

The banana cake served on board was delicious! There were paper captain hats and coloring pages available for the kids, which made our time on the ship enjoyable and meaningful. Additionally, thanks to the staff's encouragement, we were all excitedly focused on the directions where we might see something, and when we finally spotted it, we all celebrated together. It was a wonderful experience.

船内で提供されるバナナケーキがおいしかったです！子ども用に紙の船長キャップや、塗り絵が用意されていて、船内での時間を有意義に過ごすことができました。また、スタッフの方の声かけで、見える可能性のある方向をわいわい注目して、見えた瞬間にみんなで喜べたことがとても良い時間でした。

The crew will kindly guide you to the directions where you might see the best views! I was very satisfied to see the spouting and jumping, and at the end, two whales crossing paths.

クルーの方が、親切に見える可能性のある方向を教えてくれます！潮吹きやジャンプ、最後には2頭のクジラが交差するところをみられて大満足です。

It was my first time at Diamond Head, and the guide explained the best way to get there using a Japanese pamphlet, which was very easy to understand. Although the explanation was in English, it was no problem since they explained it multiple times. They also give you mineral water on the way back (laughs).

初めてのダイアモンドヘッドでしたが、ガイドさんが車内と着いてから日本語パンフレットで
一番良い行き方を説明してくれて、分かりやすかったです。英語の説明ですが、何度も説明してくれるので問題ありません。ミネラルウオーターは帰りにくれます（笑）

After setting sail in nice weather, we waited while enjoying pineapple banana cake and coffee as we approached the point. The crew provided explanations about whales, but it was disappointing that I couldn't understand the English. Just when I was starting to give up thinking we might not see any whales today, they finally made an appearance, so I felt lucky.

お天気が良い中の出航後、パイナップルバナナケーキとコーヒーをいただきながらポイントへ近づくのを待ちます。クルーの方から鯨についての説明もありましたが、英語がせっかくのお話が分からなかったので残念。なかなかクジラが現れずに今日はダメかな？と諦めかけた頃にやっと姿を現してくれたのでラッキーでした。

The weather was nice, and I thought I would encounter whales, but they didn't show up... However, the view of Waikiki from the sea was amazing! The staff's service was also polite and great 🎵 I hope to see them next time!

I experienced this two days after the Honolulu Marathon, but unfortunately, the weather was bad with high waves, and some people got seasick before the boat even left the shore. Since five groups were boarding in order, there was quite a bit of waiting time, and ultimately, many people ended up feeling sick 💦.

I managed to be okay because I skipped breakfast and took motion sickness medication. Watching the first group go up helped me understand what to expect, so it wasn't too scary, and while going up, there was no swaying, which felt nice!

However, before descending, you are dropped close to the water's surface, so your clothes might get wet.

ホノルルマラソンの2日後に体験しましたが、あいにくの天気で波が高く、ボートが沖に出るまでに船酔いする方もいました。5組が順に上がるので待ち時間も結構あり、最終的に船酔い者続出となりました💦
私は朝食を控え、酔い止めも服用したため何とか大丈夫でしたが。
上に上がるのは一組目の方を見れば要領がわかるのでそれほど怖くなく、上がっている間は揺れもないので気持ちがいいです！
降りる前に海面スレスレまで落とされるので服が濡れる場合ありです。

My husband forgot his driver's license, so I ended up driving the buggy! It was my first time driving, so it was quite challenging, especially since there were some steep roads along the way. Because of the danger, I had an instructor ride along with me halfway through. After that, I relaxed and enjoyed the sightseeing. Driving shouldn't be taken lightly, but if you want to drive, make sure you don't forget your driver's license.

主人が運転免許証を忘れて私がバギー運転！
初めて運転なので中々大変、途中かなり急な道もあり、危険ということで半ばからインストラクターなんに同乗。
その後はリラックスして見学に。
運転は甘くみない方がいいですが、運転したい場合は免許証をお忘れなく。

When I said I was a beginner, the crew kindly taught me. Maybe it was because I was sleep-deprived from the night before, but I started to feel unwell. The captain gave me ginger candy, and after I sucked on it, I felt better. I didn't catch any fish, but I enjoyed the beautiful scenery. There was also a small child, around elementary school age, who participated and had a great time.

初心者だと言ったらクルーが丁寧に教えてくれました。前日の寝不足が響いたのか、気分が悪くなってしまいました。キャプテンがジンジャーの飴をくれました。それをなめたら、回復。釣れなかったけどいい景色を堪能しました。小学校低学年くらいの小さな子も参加していてたのしんでいました。

I wanted to take a bus tour around the area for the first time, but I was disappointed that I didn't have enough time. Next time, I would like to set aside a full day to explore.

初めてで中を廻るバスで廻りたかったのですが時間がなくて残念でした。次はまる１日くらい時間を取って廻りたいです。

This was our second family trip to Hawaii, and while we were debating what activities to do, we found this one. After checking with the kids, they seemed excited, so we decided to sign up. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our activity, but we had a great time nonetheless. My eldest son, who is not fond of heights, said it was a bit scary, but my daughter and younger son, who is in elementary school, loved it and wanted to do it again.

I thought I would feel more scared when going up, but I ascended smoothly and didn't feel scared at all. It was a great opportunity to see Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean direction, something I had never experienced before.

We were also lucky enough to see whales from the boat. My eldest son was right above them, so he got to see the whales from the sky.

The staff were kind, and we were able to enjoy the experience thoroughly.

2回目の家族ハワイ旅行であり、今回は何のアクティビティをしようかと悩んでいたところ、こちらを見つけました。子供達に確認をとり、楽しそうということで、申し込みをしました。当日はあいにくの曇りでしたが、とても楽しむことができました。高いところが苦手な長男はちょっと怖かったと言っていましたが、長女、小学生の次男はまたやりたい。ととても気に入っていました。
私も上に上がる時にもっと怖いかと思いましたが、スムーズに上がっていき、全く怖さは感じませんでした。海の方角からのワイキキビーチや、ダイヤモンドヘッドを見る機会は今までなかったため、とても良かったです。
今回運良く、ボートから鯨を見ることもできました。長男はちょうど上にいた為、空から鯨の様子を見れたということです。
スタッフの方も優しく、楽しんで体験することができました。

The driver arrived at the pickup location on time and was very kind to us, even though we are Japanese! If you're planning to climb Diamond Head, I definitely recommend going early in the morning. We were able to see a beautiful sunrise! ♪

The shuttle service was convenient and made things easy. It was reassuring to have Japanese staff on-site.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning on the bus going there was broken, and I thought everyone might suffer from heatstroke, so that was a disappointment.

The tour wasn't as dirty as I had heard from rumors! (The weather was nice, which helped.)

I went in sweatpants, but I thought maybe it wasn't necessary to worry about that? However, it might just be luck, so I can't say for sure!

Anyway, I highly recommend it. It's not a problem even for those who are inexperienced drivers!

日本語のスタッフさんも現地にいるので安心でした。

行きのバスの空調が壊れていて、みんな熱中症になるかと思うくらいでしたので、そこだけ残念でした。

ツアーは、噂で聞いていたほどは汚れませんでした！(お天気だったこともあり。)

ジャージで行きましたがそこまで気にしなくても良かったかも？と思いましたが、これは運かもしれないのでわかりません！

とにかくオススメです。ペーパードライバーでも問題ないです！

Anyone can climb it. However, to climb Diamond Head, prior application is required, so it might be easier to join a tour like this. If you can apply in advance by yourself, it would be cheaper to get to the trailhead by bus or Uber.

誰でも登れます。但し、ダイヤモンドヘッドを登るには、事前申請が必要なので、このようなツアーで参加するのが楽かも知れません。自分自身で事前申請ができるのであれば、登山口まで、バスやウーバーで行った方が安いでしょう。

The staff was very kind, and they were friendly and funny, which made for a great experience. My 6-year-old child also participated and had a lot of fun. I would like to request their services again when I come next time.

It was amazing to see the moment the humpback whale jumped!

It was also fantastic to see a pod of long-finned pilot whales.

During snorkeling, I was able to swim with a green sea turtle, and it was just wonderful.

Our guide, Minako, explained everything clearly in Japanese, which made me feel at ease!

I am very satisfied. It started to rain halfway through, but I had prepared rain gear. I can't speak English, but I was able to understand somewhat using a translation app. There were also staff members who spoke Japanese on site, and they were very kind and helpful. 😊

途中から雨が降り出しましたが、雨具を用意しました。英語は出来ませんが翻訳アプリを使って何となく理解できました。
現地にも日本語を話せるスタッフの方もおられとても親切に対応して頂きました😊
