We did the 2 hour UTV tour with a family of four. This was our favorite thing we did. Get a little bit of movie history, a lot of nature, and some light thrills. Ben was our guide and was amazing. He mad the experience so fun and memorable. We had some intermittent rain on our day and it was still amazing. I could not recommend this place more.

We started boarding at 8:45 and went to get coffee, tea, water, and pineapple banana bread on our own. The banana bread was fluffy and delicious.

After receiving some safety instructions and a brief explanation about whales, we were allowed to go out to any deck from the first to the fourth floor. Since the boat passes by where you can see Diamond Head from Waikiki Beach, we were able to take photos of the beach and Diamond Head from the sea. The air conditioning inside the boat was quite strong, and the deck was windy, so I think it's better to bring a jacket. The boat is large, so we hardly felt any rocking.

Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any marine life that day, and the cruise ended without any sightings. Before disembarking, we received a ticket to participate in whale watching for free again this season.

Since we had no plans for the next day, we called the number listed on the ticket after disembarking and were able to make a reservation for the cruise the following day. They provided assistance in Japanese.

The next day, the wind was even stronger and the waves were slightly higher, but we were able to see a whale spouting just off the coast of Diamond Head. It seemed there were about three whales. The crew moved the boat to follow the direction of the whales, allowing us to see them come to the surface multiple times.

8:45に乗船開始で、コーヒー・紅茶・水、パイナップルバナナブレッドをセルフで取りに行きました。バナナブレッドはふんわりしていておいしかったです。
船での注意事項やクジラに関する簡単な説明を受けた後、1階から4階まで好きなデッキに出ることができます。
ワイキキビーチからダイヤモンドヘッドが見えるところを通るので、海からビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドの写真を撮ることができました。船内はクーラーがかなりきいているのと、デッキは風が強いので、上着を持っていった方が良いと思います。船が大きいので揺れはほとんど感じませんでした。
この日は生き物に全く会うことがなくクルーズは終わってしまいました。
下船の前に今シーズンでもう一度ホエールウォッチングに無料で参加できるチケットを受け取りました。
私たちは次の日の予定が無かったので、下船後にチケットに記載されている電話番号に電話し翌日のクルーズの予約を取ることができました。日本語で対応してくれます。
翌日はさらに風が強くやや波が高かったのですが、ちょうどダイヤモンドヘッドの沖の所でクジラが潮を吹くところを見ることができました。3頭ほどいたようです。クジラの進行方向に合わせて船を移動してくれるので、クジラが海面に来るところを何度も見ることができました。

It was a large ship 🚢, so I didn't feel any rocking. My friend is prone to seasickness, so they seemed a bit dizzy.

During the first trip, no whales appeared, and we only enjoyed the view of Waikiki Beach.

We received the reboarding tickets just before disembarking, but instead of rebooking on the spot, we had to call the company directly. I asked someone at the hotel who spoke Japanese to make the call for us. The transportation fee was settled by credit card.

During the second trip, we couldn't see any breaching, but we did see the tail and pectoral fins.

According to the guide in the return shuttle, whales come closer to the coast near Maui, so they appear larger.

大きな船🚢なので、揺れは気になりませんでした。友達は船酔いしやすいので、頭がふらふらしたようですが。

1度目は鯨は現れず、ワイキキビーチの景色を楽しんだのみ。

再乗船のチケットを下船間際に船内でもらいましたが、その場で予約し直すのでは無く、会社に直接電話をしないといけませんでした。
ホテルの日本語の話せる人に頼んで、電話してもらいました。
送迎代はクレジットカードで決算。

2度目はブリーチングはさすがに見れませんでしたが、尾ビレや胸ビレは見れました。

帰りの送迎車のガイドさんによると、マウイ島の方が海岸近くに来るので、大きく見えるそうです。

We participated as a family of three, and instructors Chie and Dan provided a lot of thoughtful care, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling safely and comfortably. Thank you very much. It was great to see a sea turtle as well. The wetsuits had good buoyancy, making it easy to enjoy.

家族３人で参加、インストラクターのちえさん、ダンさん、沢山の気配りをして頂き、安心、安全にシュノーケリングを楽しめました。ありがとうございます。ウミガメにも会えて、良かったです。ウエットスーツは浮力があり、楽でした。

We set sail in the rain. I believe the captain did his best to search for whales, but... the weather conditions were poor. There's nothing we can do about that; it was disappointing. Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach were also hazy. However, the wonderful nature of Hawaii is brought by this rain, so I'm grateful. I switched my mindset.

On the way back, I received a ticket for my next trip. The expiration date is until the end of this season, so it feels a bit impossible to use. I would have been really happy if it had been valid until the next season.

雨の中で出航です。キャプテンは一生懸命に鯨を探して下さったと思うのですが。。。
気象条件が悪かったです。これは仕方がないですね、残念でした。そしてダイヤモンドヘッドもワイキキビーチも霞んでいました。でもハワイの素晴らしい自然はこの雨がもたらします、感謝。マインド切り替えました。
帰りに次回乗船チケットいただきました。有効期限は今シーズン終了まででしたので
ちょっと無理かなって感じです。
来シーズンまでの有効期限ならめっちゃ嬉しかったのですが。

I regretted signing up when the yen was at its weakest, but I had an experience that was worth it! Riding the buggy through the greenery and jungle was fun and refreshing. We visited various spots, including filming locations for Jurassic Park and other movies, stopping at photo points along the way.

At the photo points, they shared stories about the myths and legends of Kualoa, but I didn't quite understand it well in English ^^; Afterward, I looked it up online and realized that’s what they were talking about. On the flight back, I watched two Jurassic Park movies ^^

一番円安の時に申し込んでしまい悔しかったけど、それに見合う価値の体験ができました！風を切りながら緑やジャングルの中を走るバギーは楽しく、気持ちよかったです。ジュラシックパークや他の映画の撮影場所とのことで、フォトポイントを挟みながらいろいろ回りました。
フォトポイントでは、クアロアの神話や伝説のお話をしてくださいますが、英語でよくわからなかった^^;
終わってからネットで調べて、そんなこと言ってたと合致しました。
帰りの飛行機でジュラシックパークを2本見ました^^

We had such an amazing experience on our Kaneohe Sandbar tour. The crew from start to finish was friendly and comforting. They made us feel right at home. Loved being able to purchase snacks and drinks on board. The snorkel experience was so intimate and way different than any other that I’ve done in Hawaii. We got one on one tips and knowledge on the sea life we were witnessing. The sandwich was delicious. I brought my two year old on this tour and she loved it and was able to experience a lot for her age group. 10/10!!!!!

This time, I had a friend who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, and they wanted to try parasailing, so we made a reservation here. Since we had participated in snorkeling from the same location before parasailing, we didn't need transportation, but I wonder if others came by taxi or something? I think having transportation would be helpful. The parasailing was great because the weather was nice. Thank you very much!

今回は初ハワイのお友達が一緒だったので、パラセーリングやってみたいと希望があり、こちらに予約しました。私達はパラセーリングの前に、同じ場所からのシュノーケリングに参加していたため、送迎なしで問題ありませんでしたが、他の方はタクシーとかで来たのでしょうか？送迎があると助かると思います。パラセーリングはお天気も良くて、最高でした。ありがとうございました。

Despite the declaration of a state of emergency and the bad weather, the event went ahead. I inquired via email the day before, and I was very grateful for the prompt response in Japanese.

Due to the rain and wind, and the low water temperature, we got out of the sea after an hour. After that, we enjoyed a pleasant time with live music. The staff were very polite, and we had a great time.

It was a pity that we couldn't see the color of the sea well under the blue sky, but they circled the bay on the way back, so we were able to fully appreciate the atmosphere. Although it was cold and windy, there were many fish in the water, and I was glad to have participated. Thank you very much! 😊

緊急事態宣言が出された中、悪天候でしたが催行されました。前日にメールで問い合わせさせていただきましたが、すぐに日本語でお返事をくださったので大変助かりました。

雨風の中、水温も低かったので1時間で海からあがりました。そのあとは生演奏の音楽の中、心地よく過ごしました。
スタッフの方はとても丁寧で楽しく過ごせました。
青空の下で海の色がよく見えなかったのが残念でしたが、引き上げるときに湾を周回して戻ってくれたので雰囲気は十分に感じ取れました。
雨風が強く肌寒かったですが、水の中はたくさんの魚がいて、参加できて良かったと思いました。

Weather was bad - cold and windy, not something controllable. (Although given such wind and low temperature , it might have been ethical for the tour to cancel itself.) But 1) the bus had all of the boat waiting after the trip for about 30 minutes, 2) there wasn’t a sufficient wind shelter for everyone, meaning old ppl and babies were exposed to cold wind. The lunch was also meh - bbq is an overstatement for hamburger patties and buns. Crew was friendly.

I booked a plan that includes round-trip transportation. Since many Japanese participants were also joining, I felt安心して参加できます (at ease to participate).

Once we arrived at the dock, we boarded the boat and took commemorative photos. After that, while enjoying pineapple banana cake and coffee, we were given information about whales (though it was all in English).

Afterward, we went up to the deck to enjoy the scenery. The captain would let us know when a whale was spotted, but unfortunately, we didn't see any this time. Instead, we enjoyed the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat. It felt just like a sightseeing cruise.

The day we participated was after a day when Honolulu had strong winds and a warning was issued, so the waves were slightly high, and the boat rocked a bit. However, since it wasn't a small boat, it was quite stable. Still, those who are prone to motion sickness should be cautious.

往復送迎付きのプランを申し込みました。日本人の方も多く参加されていたので安心して参加できます。
船着場に着いたら乗船、記念撮影をした後に、パイナップルバナナケーキとコーヒーをいただきながら、最初にクジラに関する情報を教えてくれます。(ただし全て英語です。)
その後デッキに登って景色を楽しむことができます。クジラが見つかると船長が教えてくれるようですが、この時は残念ながら見えず、船から見えるワイキキの景色とダイヤモンドヘッドを見て帰ってきました。まるで遊覧船ですね。
参加した日はホノルルが強風で警報が出た日の後だったので、波が若干高く、多少揺れました。ただ小型船ではないので揺れには強いですが、乗り物酔いしやすい方は注意したほうがいいです。

Our guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. Our experience was well worth the cost. I would highly recommend.

I was excited to be on the boat, but unfortunately, the weather was rainy, and we couldn't go whale watching. There was a thorough explanation of whale ecology, but it was all in English, and I managed to understand it with my iPhone's translation feature, although there was a bit of a time lag. It would have been nice to have information about the location of the restrooms as there were some places that were not usable.

テンションアップで船上しましたが、お天気も雨で・・残念ながらホエールウオッチング出来なかったです。鯨の生態等説明が丁寧にありましたが、すべて英語でiPhoneの翻訳機能でなんとか理解できましたが・・時間差がありました。
トイレの場所説明もあったら良かったと・・使えない場所がありました。

The dancing, music and show was fabulous! Very talented cast of dancers and performers. Really loved the Maori chaka dance!
The food was good and many choices on a buffet, and good drink selection.

The meeting time is set for 8:45, but you won't be able to board the ship until that time, so I don't recommend arriving too early. Once on board, you'll first receive drinks (coffee, tea, water) and banana pineapple cake. The banana pineapple cake was very delicious. It will be taken away about an hour after departure, so it's best to eat it early.

The ship moves slowly, getting closer to spots where you can see Waikiki and Diamond Head well. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, and the wind was strong. We were able to see whales about three times. Due to regulations, we couldn't get too close, and they were smaller than I had imagined.

8:45集合になっていますが、8:45にならないと船内に入れないので早めに来すぎるのはおすすめしません。
船内に入り、最初にドリンク（コーヒー、紅茶、水）とバナナパイナップルケーキを頂きます。バナナパイナップルケーキがとても美味しかったです。出発して1時間程で下げられてしまうので早めに食べるのがおすすめです。
ゆっくりと進んでいき、ワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドがよく見えるところに近づいてくれます。あいにく天気が良くなく、風も強かったです。
クジラは3回程見る事ができました。条例で近付いてはいけないのもあり、想像してたより小さかったです。

It was winter when I participated, but I enjoyed it because there was no wind. I recommend afternoon trips on cold days. The performance until we reached the shallow area was also great.

冬場の参加でしたが、風の無い分楽しめました。寒い日は午後からの便をおすすめします。浅瀬に着くまでの演奏も良かったです。

My companion boarded for the first time. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the weather, but the live music, food, and the night view of Waikiki were wonderful and felt extraordinary. There were also many newlyweds on board. There was a photo service (limited to Japanese customers?), and we received our pictures in a nice frame. I think it will be a great keepsake.

同伴者が初の乗船。生憎の天候でサンセットは見られてませんでしたが、生演奏や食事、夜景のワイキキなどの非日常が良かったです。新婚旅行の方も大勢おりました。写真もサービス(日本人限定？)があり、台紙に入れて貰えました。良い記念になると思います。

The kids participated on their own! Since we were staying in the Ilikai area, it was very convenient to walk to the meeting place. They also enjoyed the boat ride to the points, and the kids were satisfied.

子供たちだけで参加させてもらいました！
イリカイエリアに滞在していたので、歩いて集合場所まで行くことができ、とても便利でした。船でポイントまで行く道中も楽しませてもらったそうで、子供たちは満足していました。

On the morning of the event, a bus came to pick us up near the hotel, and we were able to get to the site without any inconvenience. There were Japanese staff members at the site, and we were able to enjoy ourselves from start to finish! We were able to see dolphins and sea turtles from the boat, and since the wind was strong and the waves were high, we ended up entering the sea at a different spot than usual. However, there were many fun activities available, such as a slide from the boat and stand-up paddleboarding, so we were able to have a great time throughout!

当日の朝、ホテルの近くまでバスが迎えに来てくださり、何も不自由なく
現場まで行けました。
現場には日本人のスタッフさんがおり、最初から最後まで楽しむことができました！
船からイルカやウミガメを見ることができましたし、風が強く波が高かったため
いつもと違うポイントで海に入ることになりましたが、船からの滑り台や、サップなど多くの遊べる環境が整っていたため、終始、楽しむことができました！

I was about 10 minutes late for the meeting time, but the check-in process went smoothly, and I waited in a nearby vehicle. Worst case, it seems fine to arrive 10 minutes before the activity (but it's best to go with some extra time, haha).

Once all the participants gathered, we boarded the boat in small groups. The boat went quite fast, and my body felt like it was floating, haha. However, I didn't feel nauseous or scared; it was fun!

We took turns putting on the gear, and the parasailing started for about 7 minutes. When I suggested to the group across from us to take some photos together, it created a fun atmosphere where everyone started taking pictures of each other 😙 Maybe it was because everyone was Japanese? Haha. After the experience, we all had an AirDrop session to share photos.

For an additional $40, we requested a photo service, and they took a lot of burst shots, capturing our reactions in a sequence! They took beautiful photos with Diamond Head in the background and close-up shots of our expressions, so I’m glad I requested it 👍🏻 I highly recommend it 🌟

It was the best experience enjoying the beautiful scenery of Hawaii and the thrilling ride on the boat!!!

集合時間に10分程遅れてしまったけど、スムーズに手続きをして、近くの車内で待ちました。最悪、アクティビティ10分前に着いたら大丈夫そうです。(余裕を持っていくのが1番ですが笑)

参加者が集まったら、数組で船に乗り込みます。船はかなりスピードがでて、体が浮きます笑
でも酔ったり怖い思いはせず、楽しかったです。

順番に道具を着用して7分ほどのパラセーリングがスタート。同乗した向かいのグループに写真を撮りましょうかと声をかけるとみんなで撮りあいっこする雰囲気に😙全員日本人だったからかな？笑
体験終了後にみんなでエアドロ大会をして写真をシェアしました。

I was recommended by a friend and participated for the first time this time. Driving the buggy was thrilling and exciting, but it was a lot of fun! The scenery while driving was amazing!

バギーの運転はハラハラドキドキしましたが、とても楽しかったです！
運転しながら見る景色は最高でした！

There was a captain who could speak Japanese, and he made the conversation very entertaining with jokes. I was very satisfied because we could see not only dolphins but also whales and turtles! The lunch was a buffet style and very delicious. The snorkeling was the same as in Japan!

日本語話せるキャプテン（船長さん）がいて、ジョークを交えて話してくれるのでとても面白かった。イルカだけでなく、クジラやカメも見ることができて大満足でした！
ランチもバイキング形式でとてもおいしかった。シュノーケルは日本と同じです！

I only did snorkeling and banana boating, but I was very satisfied! Most of the participants were Japanese, but there was a staff member who spoke Japanese well, so there were no communication issues! The live music was lovely, and the luxurious shuttle bus was a comfortable and pleasantly surprising point.

The Star of Honolulu set its course off Waikiki Beach, initially searching for whales but struggling to find any, which caused some concern. Suddenly, a whale jumped out of the water, creating a thrilling moment. After that, it felt like the boat was surrounded by whales, with them jumping on both the starboard and port sides.

Additionally, the view of Waikiki Beach, the hotels, and Diamond Head from the sea was fantastic. The pineapple banana bread served before departure was also delicious.

　スターオブホノルル号は、ワイキキビーチ沖に針路をとり、最初はホエールを探していましたが、なかなか見つからず、心配になっていたところ、突然のホエールのジャンプで、大感激。その後は、船がホエールに囲まれているのかのように、右舷左舷でジャンプ。
　また、洋上から見るワイキキビーチ・ホテル群、ダイヤモンドヘッドの景色も最高。
出航前のパイナップルバナナブレッドも美味しい。

Since it was my first time in Hawaii, I wasn't very familiar with the area, but even though it was sunny, the weather at sea seemed to be quite bad. I signed up for the cruise after reading experiences that said the large ship wouldn't cause seasickness, but the wind was strong, the waves were high, and the ship rocked a lot, resulting in many people feeling seasick. We didn't see any whales at all...

I personally didn't get seasick, so my memory of the cruise ended up being just watching people getting seasick both inside the ship and on the deck. (I also thought it was a bit late for the crew to start handing out sick bags just before returning to port.) We were given re-boarding tickets, but they were only valid within the same season (until March of that year), which is quite a hurdle for Japanese tourists. It might be nice to have some kind of souvenir distribution if we didn't see any whales...

I do have a desire to see whales someday, but since I paid a decent amount and this was the experience I had, I think it's disappointing and I probably won't use this plan again.

初ハワイだったのでよく知りませんが、晴れてはいたものの、洋上はどちらかというと悪天候だったのでしょうか。
船が大きく船酔いしないという体験談を見て申し込みましたが、風が強く、波も高く、船が大きく揺れた為に、船酔いする人が大勢いました。
クジラも、全然見られず…。
私自身は船酔いしなかったので、ただ単に船内でもデッキでも船酔いしてる人たちを見ながらのクルーズという思い出になってしまいました。
(船側がエチケット袋を配り出したのも、帰港直前でやや遅いように思いました。)
再乗船チケットが配られましたが、同シーズン内(同年3月まで)しか有効でなく、日本人観光客にとってはハードルが高いです。クジラが見られなかった場合は記念品の配布などがあっても良いのでは…？

またいつかクジラを見てみたい気持ちはありますが、まぁまぁの金額を支払って、こんな感じだったので、残念ですがもうこのプランは利用しないだろうと思います。

The 150 meters above ground was higher than I expected! I think the moments of ascending and descending were the scariest! The view up there felt elegant and the scenery was beautiful!

At Zavas, it takes a lot of time, but with the tour, we arrived in no time. There are no restrooms at the trailhead, so it's reassuring that we could stop at the beach's restroom along the way.

The Makapu'u Trail itself is an easy walk on a paved path, and since it was cloudy partway through, we were able to climb comfortably in the cool weather. We also saw whale spouts several times.

It was refreshing to see Diamond Head from a different angle than the Waikiki side.

ザバスではとても時間がかかるので、ツアーだとあっという間に到着。
登山口にはトイレがないので、途中でビーチのトイレに寄ってもらえるのも安心。

マカプウトレイル自体は舗装された道で歩きやすく、途中から曇りだったので涼しく登れました。
クジラの潮吹きも何度か見れました。

ダイヤモンドヘッドがワイキキ側とは違う方から見れて、新鮮でした。

Since it was a special trip to Hawaii, I wanted to have the best experience, so I booked for my family of five. The receptionist was already friendly and easy to talk to. The male staff on the boat spoke in broken Japanese with a lot of humor while preparing us for the flight. He took pictures with my elderly mother and even played around with a shark doll to make the photos more fun, showing a great spirit of service. This might be the last time I can come with my mother, but it truly became a wonderful lifelong memory. Thank you very much.

せっかくのハワイなので、最高の体験がしたくて家族5人で申し込みました。
受付のお姉さんから既にフレンドリーで接しやすかったです。
船上の男性スタッフさんは、片言の日本語を交えながらユーモアたっぷりに話しかけながら、飛ぶ準備をしてくれました。
高齢の母と一緒に写真を撮ってくれたり、写真映えするようサメの人形を使ってふざけてくれたりして、サービス精神に溢れていました。母と来れるのはもしかしたら最後かもしれませんが、本当に楽しい一生の思い出になりました。

It became a memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff for the great photos. Even though we went 150 meters out, we didn't feel it was over the sea. The seawater was a bit salty, though!

This was my first whale watching experience. There were also small boat tours available, but I was glad to be on a larger boat since the waves were quite high. There were a few small boats around us, and they seemed to be having a tough time with the waves. I was able to see the whales blowing water from a distance. I wished I could have seen them a bit closer, but since they are wild whales, it can't be helped.

初めてのホエールウォッチング、小さな船のツアーも有りましたが、波もそこそこ高く、大きな船で良かったです。
周りに、何隻か小さな船も来てましたが、波に揺られで、大変そうでした。
クジラは、遠くで、潮を吹いてるのが確認出来ました。
もう少し近くで見たかったですが、野生のクジラですから、仕方ないですね
