If you have a teenager you know how hard it is to get them to spend time with you, let alone actually participate in a family activity. Our 14 year old actually took his nose out of his phone to do this with is. He was taking videos and pictures (sometimes even with his parents!) and had a blast. The guides were amazing and had great stories about the ranch and island. 10/10

The buggy ride is longer than I expected. We travel in a group with two instructors and about seven to eight buggies. At several spots, there are explanations from the instructors and photo opportunities. The views are all amazing, and the instructors take photos for you, so you can get great pictures with your companions. The road has both paved sections and gravel paths, and while it can be bumpy and quite shaky, driving isn't too difficult. The maximum speed is about 20 km/h, with an average of around 15 km/h. It’s a fun experience, and the scheduled two hours fly by.

バギーは思ったより長距離の運転です。
インストラクター2名と７－８台でグループで行動します。
数カ所の各スポットでインストラクターの説明と写真タイムがあります。
どれも素晴らしい景色で、インストラクターが写真を撮ってくれるので、同行者との良い写真が撮れます。
道は舗装部分と砂利道とがありますが、デコボコして結構揺れますが、運転はそれほど難しくないです。スピードはｍａｘ２０ｋｍで平均１５ｋｍぐらいと思います。
楽しい体験で、予定された2時間はあっという間に過ぎていきます。

On the day of the tour, although we were unable to visit Manoa Falls due to local circumstances, the tour company took us to Waimea Canyon as an alternative, which turned out to be a fun experience in a different way! The tour guide was very cheerful and fluent in Japanese, making it a great optional tour. Thank you very much!

当日は現地の都合でマノアの滝は入場不可だったものの、ツアー会社の代案でワイメア渓谷に連れていって頂き違う意味で楽しい体験が出来ました！ツアーガイドさんも超明るくて日本語も堪能できて良いオプショナルツアーとなりました。ありがとうございましたm(__)m

I took my wife and daughters to Hawaii and we found this excursion. It looked a little challenging but the crew was professional and we had an amazing time! Highly recommend it!

My 3-year-old child couldn't dive into the sea yet, but I wanted to show him sea turtles and fish, so we participated. Fortunately, we were able to see sea turtles, and my son was very happy. The meeting place was a bit hard to find, but the timeshare sales staff provided detailed instructions, which was helpful.

3歳の子どもはまだ海に潜れず、でもウミガメや魚を見せてあげたいと思い参加しました。
運良くウミガメも見られて、息子も大喜びでした。
集合場所が少し分かりにくかったですが、タイムシェアの営業の方が詳しく教えてくださったので助かりました。

This was a restaurant I had wanted to visit for many years. The presentation of the dishes was very beautiful, and the crab cream pasta was exquisite. The foie gras and filet mignon also tasted just as I expected. There were many staff members who understood Japanese, which made ordering wine stress-free and reassuring. Thank you for a wonderful time.

何年も前からずっと行きたかったお店でした。
お料理の盛り付けが見た目にとてもきれいで、カニクリームのパスタは絶品でした。
フォアグラとフィレのお肉も期待通りの味でした。
日本語がわかるスタッフが多く、ワインの注文がストレスなくできて安心しました。素敵な時間をありがとうございました。

I also requested a shuttle service, and the pickup was smooth, allowing us to arrive early.

My child was too scared to ride, but I was really happy to experience the slider that is scheduled to open this weekend a bit early.

Since it was a weekday, the place was generally quiet, and we had plenty of beach beds available. My child wanted to ride the slider but couldn't due to height restrictions, so I think it's best to do some research in advance. There are various types of sliders to enjoy, so I recommend it for those who love thrilling rides.

The lazy river was closed, but the wave pool had waves coming regularly, so we were able to enjoy it.

The staff provided a tour of the facilities in Japanese, which made it very easy to understand.

送迎もお願いしたのですが、ピックアップもスムーズで早めに到着することができました。

子どもは怖がって乗れなかったのですが、今週末オープン予定のスライダーをひと足先に体験することができてすごくうれしかったです。

平日だったので全体的に空いていて、ビーチベッドも十分使えました。
子供が乗りたかったスライダーが身長が足りず乗れなかったので、事前リサーチしておいた方がいいかと思います。
いろんな種類のスライダーを楽しめるので、絶叫系が好きな方におすすめです。

流れるプールはクローズでしたが、波のプールは定期的に波が来ていたので、楽しむことができました。

スタッフの方が日本語で施設内を案内してくれたのですごく分かりやすかったです。

This was an incredible experience and a highlight of the trip for our family. We particularly enjoyed the submarine and the tour of the ship.

This time in Oahu, we decided to take on an active adventure by riding four-wheel buggies at Kualoa Ranch. It seemed like there were mostly younger people, as we didn't see anyone in their 60s like us, but my husband, who loves driving, was very satisfied. The weather was great, and the scenery was really beautiful. Just be careful as you might get covered in dust, so I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and definitely using a locker for your bag.

今回のオアフはアクティブに挑もうということでクアロアランチの四輪バギーに乗ることにしました。若い方たちが多いようで、私たちのような60代は見かけませんでしたが、運転好きの主人は大満足でした。天候にも恵まれ景色も大変良かったです。ただ砂ぼこりをかぶってしまうので注意書きどおり汚れてもよい服装と、カバンは必ずロッカーを利用することをおすすめします。

A lounge floating on the sea, kayaking experiences, snorkeling, and enjoying marine sports! The scenery was amazing, and there was a nearby U.S. military base with fighter jets and helicopters flying around. As an airplane enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Hawaii. Although the sandbar didn't appear due to the season, I had plenty of fun.

海に浮かぶラウンジ、カヤック体験、シュノーケリング🤿とマリンスポーツを堪能❗️
景色も最高で、近くに米軍基地があり、
戦闘機やヘリコプターも旋回しており、飛行機好きな私としてはハワイを大満喫出来ました。季節的にサンドバーは出現しませんでしたが、十分楽しめました。

It was amazing. This is my 10th time coming to Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii, and it’s always so much fun. Some people might wonder why come to Hawaii just to go to a pool, but it really is the best. This time, we even had a guide.

According to the guide, there’s a new attraction that will open in three days, and we might be able to ride it. I was curious, and when we went to check, the staff asked if we wanted to ride, and I said YES! It was incredibly scary and completely different from the other existing attractions. I thought I never wanted to ride it again, but the young girls were thrilled and rode it multiple times. I think it will become very popular starting tomorrow.

ウエッタンワイルドハワイに来るのは、今回で10回目ですが、いつきても最高に楽しいです。ハワイに来てプール？というひともいますが、やはり、最高です。特に今回は、ガイドさんもつきました。
ガイドさが、いうには、３日後にオープンになるあたらしいアトラクションももしかしたら、乗れるかも、、とのことでした、
どうかな、と思いながら、いってみたら、乗る？とスタッフにきかれ、YES！といい、乗ることが出来ました。めちゃくちゃこわくて、ほかの既存のアトラクションとは全然違いました。怖くて、わたしは、二度と乗りたくないとおもいましたが、若い娘は、喜んで何回も乗っていました。次回から、だ明日人気になるとおもいます。

First, the Japanese woman who explained the tickets right after we got off the shuttle bus was very kind, and I felt reassured from the check-in for the experience until we got on the bus back!

However, as she mentioned, there were no Japanese speakers after the check-in, so we had to rely on understanding English, which was quite challenging (laughs). By the way, my husband and I don't speak any English at all 🤣. There were videos in Japanese about the precautions for riding the buggy, so that was fine, but when we stopped at the photo spots, the explanations were all in English, so we managed to understand using Google Translate's speaker.

My husband, who is used to driving, and I, who usually don't drive, took on the challenge, but it was quite a long ride, and driving on the bumpy mountain roads in an unfamiliar buggy was exhausting even for my husband, who drives regularly (laughs). I couldn't enjoy the scenery unless it was on a straight road, and since we didn't stop at the photo spots, I couldn't switch places with my husband, which was tough for me 😭💦.

But the scenery was truly overwhelming, and I'm really glad we went!

まず送迎バスから降りてすぐチケットの説明などしてくれる日本人の女性の方はとっても親切で、体験のチェックインから帰りのバスに乗るまで安心できました！

ただその方も言ってましたが、体験のチェックインしたあとは日本語を話せる人はいないので、英語を聞き取るしかなかったのが大変でした（笑）
ちなみに我々夫婦は全く英語ができません🤣
バギーに乗る注意点などの映像は日本語のものがあり、そこは大丈夫でしたが、バギーに乗って写真スポットに止まったときその場所の説明などしてくれますが、全部英語なのでGoogle翻訳のスピーカーとかを使ってなんとか聞き取りました。笑

ただ運転に慣れた夫と普段な運転しない私で挑みましたが、結構長い間走りますし、ガタガタの山道を慣れないバギーで走るので、普段運転してる夫でもクタクタになってました（笑）
私はまっすぐな道でなければ景色どころではなかったし、写真スポットまで止まってくれないので夫に変わることもできず大変でした😭💦

だけど景色は本当に圧倒的で行って本当に良かったと思ってます！

I couldn't have a conversation since everything was in English, but I was moved by the wonderful scenery! After it was over, my face was completely black, and we all had a great laugh. Every time I see the photos, I can't help but laugh. It was so much fun. I want to go again!

This is an amazing experience. Entertainment of hosts (singers) was perfect. They have wit and the singing talent to go with it. I highlyrecommend going with them.

The sandbar is amazing! Sea turtles, fish around the corals, paddle boarding.
I can't believe wife and I did the banana boat ride at our ages. It is worth it though! I tell people I can't believe I did it but glad I did.

Will take this tour again when given the chance!

I participated with four friends. It was everyone's first time riding a buggy, and we enjoyed breathtaking views that we had never seen in Japan. The staff entertained us with photos and performances, which left us with wonderful memories. However, it wasn't as rugged as I had imagined, and since we were driving in a line as a group, most of us were asleep in the back during the second half.

そしてスタッフが写真やパフォーマンスで楽しませてくれたのが楽しい記憶として残っています
ただ想像していたほど荒地ではなく集団での縦列走行なので後半は運転者以外寝ていました

It was more thrilling and higher than I imagined! Still, the view of the horizon and Diamond Head from above was breathtaking! It was a great experience with nothing to complain about!

They came to pick me up earlier than scheduled. After signing some documents, we moved to a few other pickup locations and then headed to Diamond Head. Once everyone gathered, the guide started. I only understood about half of what was said, but it seemed like most of it was jokes. Everyone except me seemed to be native English speakers. However, it was no problem at all if you couldn't speak. The entrance fee and reservation for Diamond Head were handled by Veltra, so you can get in without doing anything. I was dropped off at the entrance of Diamond Head around 8:40, received a bottle of water, and was told to be back by 10:30.

The hike to Diamond Head takes about 30 to 40 minutes one way. There are many bumpy areas and stairs, so I recommend wearing sneakers. It can be quite windy and relatively cold at the top, so having a light jacket might be a good idea.

After coming down, I relaxed on a bench and looked at souvenirs. I was a bit anxious when the return pickup didn't arrive on time, but I thought, "This is America, so it’s probably normal." You also receive water on the way back, which you can decline if you don't want it. The drop-off location can be either the pickup spot or your hotel if it's nearby.

I gave a $10 bill as a tip, which seemed to be the average amount based on what I saw from other participants. I joined as a solo male traveler, but I wasn't singled out or anything; it was a straightforward and nice tour. If you can understand some English, this option is cheaper than a Japanese guide with tips included, so I think it's sufficient. For those who can use Lealea, it's easy to go that way. If you take The Bus, you get dropped off in front of the tunnel, so there's quite a bit of walking, but it's cheaper.

予定の時間よりも早く迎えに来てくれました。書類にサインして、他のピックアップ場所へ何箇所か移動して、ダイヤモンドヘッドへ。全員集合すると、ガイドが始まります。半分くらいしかわかりませんでしたが、ジョークが大半だったような気がします。私以外は英語ネイティブっぽかったです。でも喋れなくても全く問題なしです。ダイヤモンドヘッドの入場料や予約はベルトラがしてくれますので、何もしなくても入れます。8:40くらいにダイヤモンドヘッドの入り口で降ろされて、お水渡されて、帰りは10:30にココ！と言われました。
ダイヤモンドヘッドへのハイキングは片道だいたい30〜40分くらい。ガタガタのところや階段も多いので、スニーカーをおすすめします。上の方は風がとても強くて、割と寒いので、薄い上着あるといいかもしれないです。
降りてきてからは、ベンチに座ってのんびりしたり、お土産みたりしていました。
帰りは時間通りに迎えが来ず、少し不安でしたが、アメリカなのでそんなもんだろうと。
帰りも水を渡されます。要らなければ断れます。降ろす場所はピックアップ場所か、泊まってるホテルが近ければ送ってくれます。
チップは余っていた10ドル札を渡しました。他の参加者を見ててもそのくらいが平均かなと思います。
男1人で参加でしたが、特にいじられることもなく、さっぱりしていて、いいツアーだと思いました。
多少英語が聞き取れれば、日本語ガイドチップ入りよりも安いので、こちらで十分だと思います。
レアレア利用できる人はそれで行くのが楽です。ザ・バスで行くと、トンネルの前で降りるので割と歩きますが、安いです。

Our guide Ryan was off the hook amazing. His passion for his job showed through. Our journey into the back country of Hawaii was exciting and informative. You’re going to get dirty and it’s worth it. If you only come to Hawaii once in your life make sure you take this tour!!!!

I participated in a buggy tour! We stopped at about 3-4 highlights where the guide provided explanations, but since the guide spoke only in English, I had to pick up the nuances. (laughs) They were very proactive about taking photos and shared stories with humor, creating a really nice atmosphere for the tour.

As for the buggy ride, I wondered if it was really necessary to do it in Hawaii. There were also horseback riders enjoying the vast nature, and I thought that might have been more fun... so I felt a bit of regret.

However, it’s definitely worth going at least once to see the filming locations and enjoy the stunning scenery of Kualoa.

バギーのツアーに参加しました！
3.4箇所の見どころで降車して説明して下さいますが、ガイドさんが英語オンリーなので言ってることはニュアンスで感じとります。笑
写真撮影も積極的に行ってくださり、またユーモアも交えながらお話ししてくれるのでとっても良い雰囲気のツアーでした。

バギーについては、わざわざハワイでしなくても良かったかな？と思いました。乗馬の方々もいましたが、広大な自然の中で乗馬されていて、そっちの方が楽しそうだったかな...とちょっと後悔。

ただ映画のロケ地などを見れるのと、クアロア自体景色が素晴らしいので一度は行く価値有ると思います。

The access was good, and the time required was reasonable, so I was able to make effective use of the time before checking into the hotel. I could see the ocean of Waikiki from 360 degrees above, and I enjoyed a luxurious view of the cityscape of Waikiki from above the sea.

アクセスも良く、所要時間も手ごろなので、ホテルチェックイン前の時間を有効活用できました。上空からワイキキの海を360度見渡すことができ、ワイキキの街並みを海の上から贅沢に眺めることができました。

Paddling out towards the waves at Waikiki Beach and riding them back is a repetitive but enjoyable experience. Paddling can be quite tiring, but it was thrilling and fun. I think I'll try it again next time.

ワイキキビーチの波に向かって漕ぎ、そして波にのって戻ってくるの繰り返しですが、漕ぐのはまあまあ疲れますが、迫力満点で楽しかったです。次回もまたトライしようと思います。

I had a wave-riding experience that felt just like surfing. The view of riding the waves towards the hotels on Waikiki Beach with Diamond Head on my right side was breathtaking.

I was also lucky enough to see a sea turtle.

At Five Star Dinner, there used to be a hula dance show, but now it's gone, and it's just jazz and piano, which was different from what I expected, so I was disappointed. The price is high, so I couldn't help but think, "Is this worth this price?" Also, the shuttle bus was playing old videos, and it hasn't been updated.

ファイブスターディナーでは、基本的にフラダンスのショーマ行っていたのに、今は無くなっていてジャズ？とピアノだけで、思ったのとは違ったので残念でした。お値段も高いので、これでこの価格かぉと思ってしまいました。また、シャトルバスも、昔のもののビデオを流していて、リニューアルができておりませんでした。ex)Twitter表記など。

Hanauma Bay is still a beautiful place to visit! The reef is home to such a beautiful variety of colorful fish, sea urchins, & coral. A must see for anyone visiting Oahu!

The boat was quite rough, making it feel like an attraction, which was fun! The parasailing itself didn't have a floating sensation; it was just a bit windy. I didn't get seasick on the boat, but I did feel a bit nauseous while parasailing.

I was able to enjoy the breathtaking views. The floating time was about 8 minutes. Not only did I see the beautiful ocean, but I also got to view Waikiki and Diamond Head from a high vantage point. The boat moved out further than I expected, and I enjoyed the time on the boat as well. I chose to go paragliding at 150 meters, and it was higher than I imagined. While I felt a bit of fear when the wind picked up, I was able to enjoy the stunning scenery. Surprisingly, I felt like I could enjoy the views for a long time. It's a unique experience to gracefully enjoy the sights of Waikiki from such a high place, so I highly recommend it. The staff were also very kind and cheerful.

絶景を楽しむことが出来ました。浮遊時間は約8分ほど。綺麗な海はもちろん、ワイキキ市街やダイヤモンドヘッドを高いところから見ることが出来ました。ボートは思ったよりも置きに進み、船の時間も楽しむことが出来ました。パラセーリングは150mを選択しましたが想像以上に高く、風に煽られると若干の恐怖心もありながら、絶景を楽しむことが出来ました。意外にも長く感じるほど景色を楽しめました。あれほど高いところから優雅にワイキキの景色を楽しめることは無いのでおすすめです。スタッフの方も大変優しく陽気な方々でした。
