The day before was chilly and cloudy, but on the day itself, it was clear from the morning! The sea below, viewed from the parking lot, was a deeper blue and emerald green than in the guidebook! Everyone except for me, who participated alone, was experiencing snorkeling for the first time. While I watched the crowd walking down to the beach, I quickly took the trolley to the coast. The highly anticipated Hanauma Bay had excellent visibility, and I encountered a variety of fish as soon as I entered from the beach. There were large parrotfish, blue wrasse, schools of surgeonfish, swarms of yellow butterflyfish, and finally, the turtle I had been hoping to see... I swam the longest distance ever. The first-timers were swimming faster than I was, and I ended up exhausted at the end... but I had a wonderful snorkeling experience. According to the guide, the conditions were exceptional and only occur a few times a year. Indeed, having a guide show you the best spots for the day leads to a highly satisfying experience. I'm grateful!☆

前日まで肌寒く曇天でしたが、当日は朝から快晴！駐車場から眺める眼下の海はガイドブックより深いブルーとエメラルドグリーン！！一人参加の私以外はシュノーケル初体験の方ばかりでした。ゾロゾロと歩いて海岸へ降りていく人の波をしり目にトロリーで素早く海岸へ。楽しみにしていたハナウマ湾は、透明度が高く、ビーチから入ってすぐに多種多様な魚に出会えました。大きめなブダイ、アオヤガラ、ハギの大群、黄色いチョウチョウウオの群れ、最後にはお目当てのカメ…今迄で一番長距離を泳ぎ続けました。初体験の方達の方が、泳ぐのが早く、私は最後ヘロヘロ…でも、とっても気持ちの良いシュノーケルが出来ました。ガイドの方のお話では、一年に何度かしかない程の好条件だったそうです。やはり、ガイドの方にその日に合った場所を案内してもらうと満足度の高い体験が出来ますね。感謝です☆

We participated in this tour with three generations, including a two-year-old. The morning was relaxed, and the schedule was laid-back, but we still had a full hour for snorkeling and practice. It was an exciting time for parents who find diving challenging with small children and for older participants who may not have much stamina.

They provided bread for the kids, and once we entered the water, we were able to see fish that felt like they were straight out of an aquarium, making for a valuable experience. Of course, the adults had a fantastic time as well. The staff were very friendly and took various Instagram-worthy photos that felt like wedding photos, allowing us to take home plenty of memories.

We were able to see a rainbow and many sea turtles, and if we swam fast enough, we could have taken pictures right next to them. Last year, we couldn't see any turtles on the turtle tour, so being able to swim with them was incredibly exciting.

The boat was well-maintained with plenty of shaded areas, and the restroom facilities were worry-free, with separate changing rooms for men and women, which was very considerate. Although the information mentioned potential seasickness, I tend to get seasick easily, but the rocking wasn't bad at all.

The snorkeling included thorough practice and ample time, making it enjoyable even for beginners. It was such a great experience that I would love to participate in the same tour again.

２歳児込の３世代で参加しました。
朝もゆっくりで、タイムスケジュールもゆったりで、でもシュノーケリングや練習などはたっぷり１時間ずつあり、
子どもが小さくてダイビングは難しいパパママや、体力に自信のない年配者にもとってもテンションの上がる時間でした。
子どもが喜ぶようにパンをもたせていただいて、海に入ると水族館で見るような魚が集まってきて貴重な経験ができました。
もちろん大人もとっても楽しい時間です。

ウェディングフォトのような色々なインスタばえのする写真を撮ってくださって、思い出もいっぱい持ち帰りました。

泳ぎが早ければ隣で写真もとれそうでした。
昨年、ウミガメツアーで見られなかったので、一緒に泳げるなんてテンションが上がりすぎました。
船は日陰も想像以上に整備され、トイレ環境も心配なく、男女更衣室もあり、いたれりつくせりでした。
案内に船酔いのことが書いてありますが、私は酔いやすいですがそれほど気分の悪い揺れはありませんでした。
シュノーケリングも丁寧な練習とたっぷりな時間があり、初めてでも満喫できました。
また同じツアーに参加したいと思えるほど良かったです。

The tour started at 3 PM. There is a restaurant next to the meeting place for the tour on the beach at Hilton Hawaiian Village, so we took our time having lunch there before joining the tour.

I had some concerns because I heard there was bad weather until the day before, and it was an afternoon tour, but those worries were unnecessary as we were able to see a lot of fish.

午後3時からのツアーでした。
ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジのビーチ内、ツアー集合場所横にレストランがあるので、そこでゆっくり昼食をとってから参加しました。

前日まで荒天だったと聞くし、午後のツアーだし、と少し心配していましたが、そんな心配は無用で、たくさんの魚たちに会うことができました。

Shortly after setting sail, we were able to see two shadows, and the journey continued alongside a mother and her calf. It was a tour where we shared the excitement with the crew while watching their backs, dorsal fins, and occasionally seeing them spout water.

The crew and captain's announcements were in English, but perhaps because there were many Japanese participants, they used simple words. We were also able to view specimens of vertebrae and some simple research materials, and they provided explanations while we looked at them.

Although the weather in the Waikiki area was unfortunate, we were not caught in the rain while at sea and were able to enjoy a relaxing time while watching a beautiful rainbow.

出航してまもなく、２つの影を見ることができ、そのまま親子二頭に付き添う航海でした。
背中、尾びれ、たまに潮吹きを見守りながらクルーさんと感動を分かち合う、そんなツアーでした。

クルー、船長さんのアナウンスは英語ですが、日本人の多いツアーだからか、簡単な単語を使ってくれます。
背骨の標本や、簡単な研究資料なども閲覧可能で、見ていると説明もしてくださいました。

ワイキキエリアはあいにくのお天気でしたが、海上で雨に降られることもなく、綺麗な虹を見ながらのんびりした時間を過ごすことができました。

I participated based on the information that whales are still migrating in March. But in the end, it was just a brief glimpse of something far away, and I couldn't tell if it was really a whale or not. We weren't given any re-boarding tickets either. Hmm, is this how it usually is...? I've heard rumors that they haven't been seen at all for the past two weeks. I wish they had canceled it then... The wind was also too strong, and it wasn't pleasant at all. I won't be doing this again!

3月は鯨がまだ回遊しているという情報をもとに参加。　でも結局ほんとに遠くにチラッと見えたか見えないかで終了。　再乗船券も配られず。う〜ん　こんなもんなんですかねぇ〜。。。　風の噂にここ２週間ぐらい全然見えないと言う事。　なら中止して欲しかった。。。　風もあまりに強く気持ちよかったわけでもなく。　再度はないですね！

The children participated. My youngest daughter, who is 8 years old, later said it was an event to take pictures with dolphins. It certainly seemed like a photo session; they did swim with the dolphins, but after swimming about 5 meters just for the sake of taking pictures, it was over. It felt more like an event just to press the shutter...

However, the photos turned out very well and became a great keepsake.

I participated in the sandbar turtle watching and snorkeling tour. The turtle watching was fun as we saw many turtles popping their heads up from the boat. We swam in a line for snorkeling, and it seems that the group that swam ahead saw a lot of fish, but we followed behind and it seemed that the fish escaped because of our snorkeling fins, so we couldn't find any...

The snacks were delicious.

My husband and I parasailed once before but for my 21-yr-old daughter, this was her first time. We all had a blast. Our crew made everyone feel at ease and made the experience even more fun with their enthusiasm. Would recommend to everyone looking for a great adventure.

A trip to Hawaii to celebrate my son's coming of age. It was my first time snorkeling, but thanks to the kind guidance of Dan and Chieko, I had a great time and even got to see a turtle, which made for wonderful memories! I was able to keep up thanks to both of you! Thank you very much. I look forward to seeing you again when I visit Hawaii! (^ ^)

息子の成人祝いのHAWAII旅。初シュノーケリングでしたが ダンさん チエコさんの親切なご指導のおかげで

It was my first experience with a 150m parasailing, and although I was anxious, it felt amazing and the view was fantastic. Diamond Head was even more impressive from above than from the ground.

150mパラセイルにはじめての体験でしたが、不安だったですが、とても気持ち良く景色も最高で、地上からよりもダイアモンドヘッドが感動的でした。

We participated as a family of four: a couple in their early 30s and their parents in their late 50s and 60s. The shop is located on the Diamond Head side, within walking distance from the main hotels in Waikiki, but since we weren't sure about the distance until we actually went to Waikiki, we opted for the shuttle service. We rented rash guards and aqua shoes at the shop. It was a group lesson, but during our time slot, there were only five of us: our family and one other Korean woman in her 30s, with two staff members assisting us. We learned how to ride the waves while watching a video in the shop. After that, we moved to the beach and practiced the motions of riding the waves on the sand multiple times together. Then it was time to hit the ocean! Paddling was really tough, but both my mother and I managed to get out. The waves in Waikiki in March were quite gentle, suitable for beginners. In the summer, the waves get bigger, so it's advised not to go too far out. Because the waves were calm, it seemed impossible to ride them without paddling strongly, and when the waves came, the staff would give us a push. That helped us catch the waves! My husband and I were able to stand on the board for about five times, quite long. My mother, in her late 50s, also tried to stand several times and fell off the board, but she managed to stand for two longer periods and seemed to have a lot of fun! I wore contact lenses, and there were no issues at all. About ten years ago, I tried surfing a little at Kujukuri in Chiba, and I felt it was very painful to fall into the sea there because it was so beautiful, but here, it was not painful at all. The two staff members who accompanied us were very friendly. Once you can stand, it really feels refreshing!

30代前半の夫婦、とその両親(50代後半、60代)の家族4人で参加しました。ショップはワイキキの主要ホテルよりもダイヤモンドヘッド側で、徒歩圏内なのですが、実際にワイキキに行ってみるまで距離感覚がわからなかったため、送迎ありで利用しました。ショップでラッシュガードとアクアシューズを借ります。グループレッスンだったのですが、私たちの時間帯は、私たち家族ともう一人30代の韓国人女性のみの計5人にスタッフの方が2人ついてくれました。ショップ内でビデオを見ながら、波の乗り方を学びます。その後、ビーチへ移動し、砂浜でボードの上で実際に波に乗る動作を何回もみんなで反復します。そしていざ海へ！パドリングが本当にきつかった、、、ですが、私も母もなんとか沖へ。3月のワイキキの波はかなり穏やかで、「初心者向けの波」のようです。夏になるともっと波が大きくなるため、あまり沖には出ないようです。波が穏やかなため、自力で波に乗るには、かなり強くパドリングしないと無理なようで、波がくるとスタッフの方が押してくれます。それで波に乗れます！私たち夫婦は5回くらい、かなり長くボードの上に立つことができました。50代後半の母も何回か立てそうになりながらもボードから落ちていましたが、2回長く立つことができ、とても楽しかったようです！コンタクト装着していますが、全然問題ありませんでした。10年ほど前、千葉の九十九里で少しだけサーフィンをしてみたことがあるのですが、海がとても綺麗なので(?)、九十九里の時はボードから海に落ちるととても苦しいと感じたのですが笑、全く苦しくなかったです。同行してくれたスタッフ2人の方々はとてもフレンドリーでした。立つことができると、本当に気分爽快です！

I participated with my husband on our honeymoon. After getting on the pickup car at the hotel, we took a small boat at the dock. It was quite fast, and it was thrilling and fun. Once we went a bit offshore, we finally started parasailing! The weather was very nice that day, and although I was scared at first, I was moved by the beautiful scenery we could see! I was very satisfied and truly glad we participated.

ハネムーンで夫と二人で参加しました。
ホテルにてピックアップの車に乗ったあと、船着き場にて小型ボートに乗ります。
結構なスピードでこれもスリル満点で楽しかったです。
少し沖に行った辺りでいよいよパラセーリング開始です！
この日は天候がとても良く、最初は怖かったものの、とても美しい景色を見ることができて感動しました！
とても大満足で、本当に参加してよかったです。

Absolutely recommended!
In the end, I was able to let go and even do a handstand!
Even a 47-year-old woman like me could do it!
There was also a 74-year-old grandmother from England on the same team.
The staff were kind and fun, and they even assisted the grandmother.

スタッフがおばあちゃんも補助してくれたり、優しい楽しいスタッフでした。

I had a great time. I was a bit anxious due to the lack of detailed explanations regarding safety, but once I experienced it, the scenery was beautiful, and I enjoyed it. If I had to mention something, during the latter part of the parasailing, some groups touched the seawater upon landing, so it's best to prepare for the cold. Also, it's advisable to use the restroom beforehand.

十二分に楽しめました。安全に関する部分の細かい説明が少なかったので少し不安でしたがいざ体験してみると景色も良くて良かったです。強いて言うならパラセーリング中の後半、着陸時にグループによっては海の中の海水に触れているグループがあったので寒さ対策はしっかりしておいた方が良いのとトイレは事前に済ましておいた方がいいです。

The ride was very calm and nice weather. The whales consisted of a baby and its mother which we only saw once. We were in only 45 foot deep water. That is not deep enough for the whales. It was a bust.

This parasailing experience was my second time as a repeat visitor. Last time, I had so much fun and felt a thrill and refreshment that I wanted to try it again when I visited Hawaii. This time, perhaps because there were two fewer groups than last time, it felt like we were able to fly for a longer time. Also, since there wasn't much wind last time, I was desperately clinging to the railing to avoid falling while the yacht was flying quite a bit, but this time, the wind was just right, and I was able to ride calmly on the yacht, which was comfortable. The crew was also very fun and lively, making for a truly enjoyable time. The shuttle driver was very nice this time as well, engaging in fun conversation and even treating us to drinks on the way back. For my third time, I will try the 150 meters.

このパラセーリングは、リピーターで二度目です。
前回、とても楽しくスリルと爽快感を味わえたので、ハワイに行くならまたトライしたいと思っていました。
今回は、前回より二組分少なかったせいか、長い時間飛ぶことができたように思います。
また、前回は風があまりなかったため、ヨットをかなり飛ばしていたので、落ちないように手すりにしがみつき必死でしたが、今回は風もほどよくあったのか、ヨットでも落ち着いて乗っていることができ、快適でした。
クルーの方も、とても楽しく盛り上げてくださったので、本当に楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
送迎の方も今回はとても良い方で、楽しくお話をして盛り上げてくれ、帰りにはドリンクまでごちそうしてくれました。
三回目は、150ｍをトライさせていただきます。

I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the hotels and beaches of Waikiki, as well as Diamond Head.

Since it had rained earlier, there was a rainbow, and I was lucky enough to see a whale spouting water, making for a fulfilling time.

ワイキキのホテルやビーチ、ダイアモンドヘッドを一望でき綺麗な夕日を楽しむことができました。

雨が降った後だったので虹が出ていたり
運良くクジラの潮吹きも見れたりと充実した時間を過ごすことができました。

I think there are various activities that keep things interesting. The staff was friendly, and it was a fun day. I definitely recommend it!

I couldn't understand Japanese, and all the explanations were in English. I was helped by a Japanese woman named Chiyo, who explained everything politely, but it might be boring for those who don't understand English.

It seems that gel nails are not allowed for the swimming course, and there are no gloves available for rent. I was told to tear them off with pliers. I was surprised!

You can get one photo, but you can't choose your favorite one. There's a possibility that you'll end up with a photo where you look unattractive. Well, it's free, so I guess it can't be helped.

The activity itself only involves swimming about 20 meters twice, so I felt a bit unsatisfied because I thought I would be able to swim a lot based on the photos. I thought $200 was expensive for this, but the dolphins were cute and amazing!

日本語通じなくて、説明も全て英語。
チヨさんという日本の女性が丁寧に説明していただいて助かりましたが、英語わからない人にはつまらないかも？
一緒に泳ぐコースはジェルネイル不可でグローブも貸出無しだそうです。ペンチでちぎりとれと言われました。びっくり！
写真1枚もらえるけど好きな写真は選べません。
不細工に映った写真をもらうことになる可能性もあります。まぁ無料だから仕方ないですが。
アクティビティ自体も20mくらいを2度泳ぐのみなので写真を見てたくさん泳げると思っていたので、物足りなく感じました！これで$200は高いと思いましたがイルカは可愛くて最高でした。

I had a fear of heights, but I decided to challenge myself!

My husband and I participated in a 150-meter parasailing experience. It was my second time parasailing, but the last time I did it at another place, it was only about 60 meters, so I thought I’d challenge myself and go for the highest one!

There was only one other couple, a Japanese couple, besides us, so the announcements regarding safety precautions were made in Japanese.

The weather was a bit bad that day, with light rain and wind, which made it quite shaky when we were up in the air, and it was a little scary, but the view was amazing and felt great!

Last time, there were many participants, and we came down quickly once we reached the top, but this time, since there were only two couples, we were able to stay up for a much longer time!

When we came down, our feet just touched the water, but it was a bit cold.

主人と二人で150メートルのパラセイルに参加しました。パラセイルは2回目でしたが、前回は他のとこで確か60メートルくらいのやつだったので、せっかくなら、と一番高いやつに挑戦しました！
参加者は、私たちの他にもう一組日本人のカップルだけだったので、注意事項などのアナウンスは日本語が流れていました。
この日は少し天気が悪く、小雨と風で上空にいるときは、なかなかの揺れで少し怖かったけど、とてもいい眺めで気持ちよかったです！
前回は参加者が多くトップまでいったらすぐ降りてきてたのですが、今回は二組だけだったせいか、とても長い時間飛ばしてもらえました！
降りてきてくるときに足だけ海にポチャンと着水してもらいましたが、少し寒かったです。

We were able to enter before the usual opening time and touch the dolphins. It was a bit cold for the season, and the kids were shivering a little in the pool first thing in the morning, but it seems they really enjoyed touching the dolphins. Additionally, there were plenty of interactions, such as touching turtles, feeding fish, and feeding birds, which made for a fun experience.

通常の開園前に入場して、イルカタッチできました。
時期的に少し寒く、朝一番のプールで子供たちは少し震えてしまっていましたが、イルカタッチ自体はとても楽しかったようです。
そのほかにも亀にタッチできたり、魚に餌をあげたり、鳥に餌をあげたりとふれあいが盛りだくさんで、楽しんでいました。

I participated with my girlfriend as a graduation trip. The food was delicious, and the pineapple, in particular, was exquisite. We took photos before boarding, and I was very satisfied with the service that offered data for around 1000 yen during the cruise! When I visit Hawaii again, I definitely want to participate again.

I made a mistake with the meeting place, but they came to pick me up from the wrong location. It was really helpful. Thank you very much. The tour afterwards was also a lot of fun. The hamburger for lunch was delicious, and I was completely full!

集合場所を間違えてしまったのですが、間違えてしまったところまで迎えに来てくれました。本当に助かりました。ありがとうございました。その後のツアーもとても楽しかったです。お昼のハンバーガーも美味しくてお腹一杯になりました！

I was skeptical about whether I would be able to see whales, but I was able to see a mother and baby whale beautifully. It was truly amazing. There was also an announcement in Japanese on the boat. The boat was clean and nice as well. It became a wonderful memory.

クジラを観れるかどうか半信半疑でしたが、見事に親子のクジラを観ることができました。ほんとに最高でした。船上では日本語のアナウンスもありました。船も綺麗で良かったです。
良い思い出になりました。

This is my second time participating.
There is no Japanese at all, but that makes it fun.
I can somewhat understand the explanations, but that level of understanding is enough to enjoy it.
The staff are all fun people, and I want to participate again.
Also, the staff's speed in remembering participants' names is impressive.

2度目の参加です。
日本語は一切ないですが、それが楽しいです。
説明も何となく分かりますが、何となくで十分楽しいです。
スタッフも楽しい方ばかりでまた、参加したいです。
あと、スタッフの方の参加者の名前を覚える速度は速いです。

I participated in the morning session and chose the 90m option. There were three groups, including us, totaling seven people. The "m" likely refers to the length of the rope, and at 90m, it felt like there was no slack in the rope, making it rise quite high. The 150m option seemed to have a bit of slack, so it didn't look like it was going as high. If it's your first time, I think the 90m option is sufficient since the price is also lower.

It would be nice to have a waterproof phone case that you can hang around your neck to take photos from above. I'm worried about dropping a selfie stick. I wasn't sure about the tipping standard, so I gave $20 each to the two instructors, but it seems that wasn't necessary. They took about 112 photos for us. You can decide whether to purchase them after looking at the photos.

朝イチの参加で90mにしました。
私達を含め３組7人でした。
mは恐らく紐の長さなので、90mだと紐のたるむ部分がなくてかなり上まで上がっている気がしました。150mの方は紐が少したるんでそんなに高く上がっているようには見えませんでした。
初めてなら料金も安いし90mで十分だと思います。
首から下げれる防水のスマホケースがあれば上からも写真が撮れていいと思います。自撮り棒は落としそうで怖いです。
チップは相場がわからず、インストラクターの方2人に1人20ドルずつ渡しましたが、そんなに渡さなくて良かったみたいです
写真は112枚ほどとってくれていました。
一応写真を見てから購入するかを決めれます。

I participated with my one-and-a-half-year-old child.
We clapped our hands in joy, so it was a really great experience!
My child was hesitant to touch the dolphins, but we had fun.
It seems there were two people who could speak Japanese; one of them explained things right after we entered, and their Japanese was fluent.
When we interacted with the dolphins, the person explaining was a bit hesitant in their speech, but I understood most of what they wanted to say!
It's small, so you can look around quickly.
The dolphin show was also great.
