We experienced it as a three-generation family, and everyone was very satisfied. It felt like we were on Soarin' at Tokyo DisneySea.

親子3世代で体験しましたが、全員が大満足でした。東京ディズニーシーのソアリンに乗っているみたいでした。

Two premium drinks per person. This includes iced tea. "Premium" iced tea? Is the premium that it comes with ice?
Adult beverages are stupidly expensive.

We were much farther from the fireworks than I had hoped.

They lived up the the letter of their advertisement. They don't go beyond that.

We departed with five groups, including my family. My five-year-old daughter and I were the second group. As we floated up, we quickly ascended, and a wonderful view unfolded before us. It felt like sitting on a swing, so even my five-year-old daughter could enjoy it. However, by the time we reached the fourth and fifth groups, even those of us who usually don’t get motion sickness found it quite tough. Since the speed is adjusted to ascend, those who are prone to motion sickness might end up feeling nauseous. Even for those who don’t usually get motion sickness, it would be wise to take some anti-nausea medication just in case.

私たち家族含め5組での出発となりました。
私と5歳の娘は2番目でした。
フワッと浮き上がると、みるみる上昇し素晴らしい景色が広がります。
ブランコに座ってるような感覚なので、5歳の娘でも楽しむことができました。
ただ、4組目5組目ともなると普段乗り物酔いをしない私たちでさえ、酔いが結構キツかったです。
上昇させるためにスピードを出したり緩めたりするので、乗り物酔いしやすい人は吐いてしまうかもしれません。
乗り物酔いしない人でも念のため酔い止めを飲んでおいてほうがよさそうです。

My beginner daughter successfully rode the waves! We signed up for a group lesson, but luckily, it ended up being a private lesson with just the two of us on the day.

初心者の娘も見事に波乗り成功！グループレッスンで申し込みましたが、ラッキーなことに当日は娘と二人きりで実際はプライベートレッスンでした。

At Sandbar, the experience on the boat and in the water was more comfortable than I imagined. For lunch, we had burgers with grilled meat prepared on the boat! And the best part is that drinking beer while in the ocean is something you wouldn't think is possible in Japan. We started playing beach volleyball with just 2 or 3 people, but before we knew it, more people joined in, and it became a blast! Snorkeling was also great, as we had about an hour to move freely and enjoy ourselves!

サンドバーでは、想像以上に過ごしやすい船の上と水の中。お昼は、船の上で焼いてくれたお肉を挟んだハンバーガーを！そして、何より海のに入りながらビールを飲んでもオッケーというのは、日本では考えられませんね。ビーチバレーも、最初は2、3人で初めてていましたが、いつの間にか人が増えて盛り上がり、最高でした！シュノーケリングも、約１時間も自由に動けるので、楽しめます！

This time, we were able to see dolphins perfectly again. However, I wonder if the water was murkier than last time because it was rough... The staff members were very friendly, and the activities were fun.

今回もばっちりイルカが見れました。
ただ前回より海が濁ってたのは、荒れていたからなのかな...
スタッフの皆さんはとてもフレンドリーで、アクティビティも楽しいです。

I went snorkeling with my daughter while holding hands and saw dolphins. It was a fleeting moment, but it became an unforgettable memory. However, it was unfortunate that my wife, who joined us, had to hold onto the aloha bucket due to seasickness until the end.

娘と手を繋いでシュノーケルしながらイルカを見ました。一瞬の出来事でしたが忘れられない思い出になりました。ただ、一緒に参加した妻は、船酔いで最後までアロハバケツを抱えていだ事だけが残念でした。

This was my second time parasailing, so I decided to challenge myself at the highest altitude of 150 meters! Up I went smoothly into the sky. It felt amazing! I thought, "Oh, this isn't so high," but after a while... wait, am I going up again? It's so high! I don't mind heights, but it's a bit scary... However, I was able to enjoy a lot of time in the air, and by the end, I felt like I could go even higher! I'm really glad I chose the highest option. My wife, who isn't fond of heights, seemed to enjoy it while saying it was scary, especially since we were with our child. And then, at the end, we plunged into the sea! Since I was the first to jump, I didn't realize there was an option for that and foolishly shouted out loud. The crew was cheerful and made it lively, and after it was all over, it felt like a little cruise, allowing us to enjoy even more after parasailing!

パラセーリングは二回目だったので、今回は一番高い150mにチャレンジ！
スルスル〜っと上空へ。気持ちいい〜！
なんだ、そんな高くないじゃないかと思っていたら、しばらくして…ん…また上がってる？
た・高い〜！
高いところは嫌いじゃないけど、ちと怖い…
でも、たっぷり空中散歩を楽しめるし、終わってみると、まだまだいける！
なんて思ってしまうくらいで、一番高くしてよかったと思います。
高いところが苦手な妻も、子供と3人だったので怖い〜と言いながら、笑顔で楽しめたようです。
そして、最後に、海にドボン！
一番最初に飛んだので、そんなオプションがあると思っていず、迂闊にも大声をあげてしまいました。
クルーの方たちも、明るく盛り上げてくれて、終わった後も、ちょっとしたクルーズのようで、パラセーリングの後も、たっぷりと楽しめました！

It was my second time parasailing in my life. The view of Diamond Head from above was spectacular! However, I suffered from seasickness and sunburn... what a mistake.

人生2度目のパラセーリングでした。上空から見たダイヤモンドヘッドも絶景！
ただ、船酔い&日焼けには懲りました、、、失敗。

Really nice experience guided by really nice and professional people. Highly recommended.

I was able to encounter a pod of wild dolphins! As soon as we spotted the dolphins, we hurriedly put on our fins and masks. At the captain's signal, we jumped into the sea one after another and swam to the location guided by the staff. When we looked underwater at the signal, we could see dozens of dolphins swimming below us! The water was incredibly clear, providing excellent visibility. It was a great experience.

We raced the boat to the best spot, waited, and signaled; I believe that if any of these elements were missing, the timing wouldn't have worked out. It truly felt like a long-established tour!

Even after getting back on the boat, the pod of dolphins swam alongside us. (This seems to be rare.) At this time of year, there were also baby dolphins, and we were able to see the dolphins jumping, which made for an exciting time.

While the time with the dolphins was wonderful, there were a few things I would like to see improved, which is why I’m giving it one less star.
- I would have liked it to be clearly stated that we needed to swim quickly on our own to see the dolphins. (I had a parent in their 60s who is not a strong swimmer with me.)
- The time we could see the dolphins underwater was very brief. (Once the pod passed by, we got back on the boat and moved straight to the water play point.) I would have liked to have more time to see them in the sea again.
- I purchased photos, but none were taken underwater. (It was the maximum number of passengers on board that day, so perhaps the photographer couldn't manage?) It felt like there were many photos of children. While there were photos taken on the boat, the commemorative photos with the staff were in a conveyor-belt style, so we weren't looking at the camera. It was disappointing, especially since it cost $79.

The staff were cheerful, and the boat was lively with dancing and singing, making it a good experience where I could feel the beauty of Hawaii's nature.

野生のイルカの群れに会えました！
イルカを発見すると急いでフィンとマスクを装着。船長さんの合図で次々に海に飛び込み、スタッフの誘導する場所まで泳ぎます。合図で海中を見ると何十頭のイルカの群れが下を泳いでいくのが見えました！海は透明度抜群で視界もクリア。いい体験ができました。
ベストな場所へ船を走らせ、待機し、合図、このどれが欠けてもタイミングは合わなかったと思います。さすが老舗ツアーだと思いました！
船に上がってからもイルカの群れが船と並走。(珍しいそうです。)時期的に赤ちゃんイルカもいて、イルカのジャンプも見ることができ、ワクワクな時間が続きました。

イルカとの時間は素適でしたが、いくつか改善してほしいこともあり星マイナス1。
・イルカを見るために急いで自力で泳ぐ必要があることは明記してほしかった。(泳ぎの得意でない60代の親が一緒でした。)
・イルカを水中で見れたのは一瞬だった。(群れが通り過ぎたら船に上がってそのまま水遊びポイントへ移動してしまう。)もう一度海の中で見る時間をとってほしかった。
・写真を購入したが海の中で1枚も撮ってもらえなかった。(当日は乗船可能人数maxだったのでカメラマンの手が回らなかった？)子どもの写真が多い印象。船の上では写っていましたがスタッフとの記念写真も流れ作業状態なのでカメラ目線になっていなくて…。79ドルもしたのに残念です。

スタッフも明るく船内もダンスや歌で盛り上がり、ハワイの自然を感じられる良い体験はできたと思います。

This tour is the best way to get the full Pearl Harbor experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our curious and random questions. He did an excellent job of corralling such a large group in time to move from one exhibit to the next. We would have been lost without him. My favorite part of the tour was the boat ride out to the Arizona Memorial. Even though the memorial was closed at the time, seeing the Arizona Memorial and Battleship Missouri up close out on the water was quite humbling and awe-inspiring. Visiting Pearl Harbor is a top Oahu destination, and this tour is the best way to go!

I highly recommend this dinner cruise! This cruise is unique in that it’s a formal dinner, a sunset cruise, and a luau all wrapped up into one delicious and entertaining evening. I’m vegan and always skeptical of trying vegan options, but this dinner far exceeded my expectations. The jazz band did not disappoint either. Good music goes a long way in my book, so I can easily say the saxophonist was actually my favorite part of the evening. The band happened to play one of my favorite songs and it made my day, the icing on the cake.

I had previously gone snorkeling at another location, but it wasn't as detailed and kind as this experience. This time, I felt that the explanations provided in advance were very thorough and considerate, ensuring that participants could enjoy themselves without any worries. Additionally, during the snorkeling, I was constantly watched over and guided, which allowed me to fully enjoy the wonderful underwater world without getting lost. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to swim for such a long time, which I hadn't expected. I would definitely like to use this service again.

以前別の場所でシュノーケリングをしたことはありましたが、今回のようにきめ細かく親切ではありませんでした。
今回はとても懇切丁寧に事前に説明いただき、参加者に不安のないよう安心して楽しめるよう配慮を感じました。
また、シュノーケリング中も常に見ていて誘導していただいたおかげで迷うことなくすばらしい海の世界を堪能することができました。
また、こんなに長い時間泳がせてもらえるとは思っていなかったのでうれしい驚きでした。
また、利用されていただきたいと思いました。

Great snorkeling! We saw tons of green sea turtles, fish and spinner dolphins! The sail after the snorkel was fantastic as well!

The pool is a lot of fun, and the slide is easy to ride. There were times when no one was at the slide start point, which might be due to a lack of staff. It's different from the safety standards in Japan. My 11-year-old daughter found the slide too intense and said she would never ride it again.

I wanted a place to rest, so I reserved a cabana in advance. It came with a private float and water. My daughter got sick from playing too much in the wave pool, and we were able to relax on the cabana bed. We also had lunch in the shade. You can have lunch delivered to you as well. We were able to close the curtains and change clothes too. I'm really glad I reserved the cabana.

波のプールで遊びすぎた娘が酔ってしまい、カバナのベッドでゆっくり休めました。ランチタイムも日陰でとれました。ランチを届けてもらう事もできます。
カーテンしめて着替えも出来ました♩
本当にカバナは予約しておいてよかったです

The sandbar was a bit different from the photos as it was submerged in the sea that day, but I still enjoyed it. The snorkeling afterwards was great as I could freely explore around the coral. I even got to see sea turtles from the boat. Surprisingly, the hamburgers were freshly grilled and very delicious, making for a satisfying day!

サンドバーはこの日は海につかっていてちょっと写真と違いましたが、楽しめました。その後のシュノーケリングも珊瑚の周りを自由に見れてよかったです。船でウミガメにも会えました。
意外？にハンバーガーが焼き立てでとても美味しく満足の1日でした！

We had a great time on our adventure across the galaxy and would highly recommend! Our favorite part was seeing the rings of Saturn from different angles and even seeing one star that had exploded 60,000 years ago and you can still see it exploding to this day

Nice folks running the show, met a couple people who are now on my FB friends. Hubby was able to get another burger! Playing Volleyball out in the middle of the Ocean is quite an XP. Plus, we get to see Turtles swimming around. So overall, a success!

The day I participated, it was packed with about 40 people, and there was barely enough room to sit. There were four crew members. I attended with elementary school children, but the explanation for using the snorkeling gear was very brief, and after that, everyone pretty much did their own thing. During sailing, the crew said it was optional to wear life jackets, and since they came around to collect them, none of the participants ended up wearing them.

I was able to see a sea turtle, and I spotted dolphins jumping in the distance, which was great, but I felt it might be more of an adult-oriented tour.

参加した日は40人くらいの満員状態で席もギリギリ座れるという状態でした。クルーは4人でした。小学生を連れての参加でしたがシュノーケリングの使い方はサラッと説明するくらいで、始まってからはほとんど各自で勝手にやるというかんじでした。セーリングの時は救命胴衣は着けても着けなくてもよいと言ってクルーが回収しにきて参加者全員着用してませんでした。
ウミガメは見れたし、遠くでイルカが飛び跳ねてるのが見えたので良かったですが、大人向けのツアーかな？と思いました。

In late August, my family (two adults and two middle schoolers) participated in a morning course. Along with us, there was a couple and a family with children, making a total of 10 participants plus instructors Dan and Chieko, bringing the total to 12 people.

Both of them were kind and had great personalities, and their explanations were very thorough. Before making a reservation, I debated whether to go with a guided tour, but I’m glad I chose this course. This is because they select the best course based on the day's sea conditions, such as the waves. If you’ve been there several times, you might prefer to go on your own, but since it was our first time at Hanauma Bay, we were unsure and a bit anxious. When they told us the course that swam from one end to the other, I thought that if it were just us, we definitely wouldn’t have chosen this course.

In the end, we were lucky to see a seal on the beach, which was adorable. It was a lucky experience!

However, since we just swam from one end to the other, it felt a little lacking. It would have been even better if we could have spent 10 to 15 minutes freely exploring the shallow areas.

But both the parents and kids had a great time. Thank you! It was a wonderful memory.

8月下旬、家族(大人2人と中学生2人)で朝からのコースで参加しました。私達のほかにご夫婦と子連れのご家族と一緒で10人とインストラクターのダンさんとチエコさんの合計12人で。
2人とも優しいですし人柄が良く、説明もとても丁寧です。予約する前、ガイドさん付きにするかどうか悩みましたが、私はこちらのコースにして良かったと思っています。と、いうのもその日の海の波などのコンディションを見て最適なコースを選び泳いでくれるから。何度か来た方なら個人で自由にでもいいと思いますが、うちはハナウマベイが初めてだったので勝手がわからず不安があったのもありますし、端から端まで泳いだコースを教えてもらった時、自分達だけだったらこのコースは絶対泳がなかっただろうなーって思ったので。
最後には運よくアザラシが浜辺にいて可愛かったです。ラッキーでした♪
ただ、端から端まで泳いで終わりだったので少〜し物足りず。ここら辺の浅瀬で自由に…とか10分15分でもあればもっと良かったかなと。。

でも、親も子供も楽しく過ごせました。

In late August, it was sunny. We participated as a couple with two middle school students. It was everyone's first time parasailing. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some anti-nausea medication, but it was nice that there were only a few of us, just our family and two foreign sisters. (The people who rode after us were a large group, so I felt like I might get seasick while waiting for them to finish... Either way, it's better to take the medication. The boat sways quite a bit!)

I didn't talk much with the captain, but he was a nice person, and the instructor was funny and kind, making the conversation enjoyable! (He understands a little Japanese and seems familiar with Japanese people, so I think it's fine even if you can't speak English.)

Our family and the sisters were all dropped into the sea at the beginning or the end! That was fun too. I was chatting with the instructor before we started, and it naturally led to, "Well, we have to drop you into the water, Japan!" I don't know how it usually goes, but if you really want to be dropped into the sea, it might be good to express that desire.

The view from 150 meters was amazing! When the boat swayed, I couldn't help but scream like it was an amusement park ride. Haha. I wasn't worried about falling at all. I put my smartphone in a waterproof case hanging around my neck and recorded videos, but since there was some swaying, please ensure your own safety while filming. (If you're anxious about operating it up there, it might be a good idea to keep the camera rolling from before takeoff until landing. I can't guarantee the quality, but it's one way to do it.)

Also, we had to wait until the previous group returned before we could board the moving boat, and after boarding (only those buying the photo SD had to line up), but it didn't feel like we waited too long at all.

I would love to try again with the same captain and instructor!

8月下旬、晴れ。夫婦と中学生2人で参加。
全員初めてのパラセーリング。私は酔いやすく酔い止めを飲みましたが、うちと外国のお姉さん2人だけの少数だったのも良かった。(私達の後に乗ってた人達は大人数だったから、他の人がやってる間に船酔いしそうで…どっちにしても酔い止め飲んだ方がいいです。船はかなり揺れます！)
船長さんとはそんなに話さなかったけど良い人だったし、インストラクターの人は面白いし優しくてお喋りが楽しかったです！(日本語も少し通じますし日本人にも慣れてらっしゃる感じですので英語話せなくても大丈夫だと思います。)
私達家族もお姉さん達も最初か最後に海に落とされました！それも楽しかったです。私はやる前にインストラクターさんとお喋りしてて、じゃあジャポンと落とさないとね〜という流れに自然となったので普段がどうかわかりませんが、絶対海に入れてほしい人は一言やってほしい気持ちを伝えるといいかもしれませんね。
150mからの景色は最高でした！
揺れたりするとアトラクションのようにキャーキャー言ってしまいます。笑。落ちる心配は全然無かったです。首から下げる防水ケースにスマホ入れて動画なども撮りましたが、揺れもあるのでご自身で安全を確認しながら撮って下さい。(上で操作するのが不安な方は、飛ぶ前から降りるまでずっと動画回しっぱなしでもいいかもしれませんね。ちゃんと撮れるかわかりませんが一つの方法として。)
あと、移動するボートに乗るまで( 前の人達のボートが戻ってこないと私達がいけない入れ替え制でした)と乗ったあと(写真のSDを買う人だけですが並んで順番)に待たされますが、すごく待たされた感じは無かったです。
また同じ船長さんとインストラクターさんでトライしたいです。

I felt that both the dancers and the hosts were top-notch. The food was also delicious. This time, I had a golden seat right next to the stage, but I think you can enjoy it just as much from the seats further back.

ダンサー、司会者共に一流だなと感じました。
食事も美味しかったです。
今回はゴールデンシートで、ステージ真横の席でしたが、後方の席でも充分見えるし楽しめると思います。

Me and my friend first agreed to do a caged experience with the sharks, but I'm so glad we chose to do it without the cage! It was a better experience. The guides were helpful and experienced, and we luckily saw a Tiger shark! We did this on our last day in Hawaii and it wound up being the best part of our trip!

We signed up for parasailing at 9:00 with three people, but one person was unwell, so we participated with two. The pickup was a bit late... We boarded the boat with three families, and there was a pouch with instructions for Japanese guests. They asked if we wanted to take photos. I thought $30 was too much, so I declined. You can choose to either jump into the sea or be lowered onto the boat. Everyone else jumped into the sea! I wanted to take a video with my phone, so I asked to be lowered onto the boat. I wasn't sure where the return van was... The driver from the van we took there was present, so when I mentioned the hotel name, he directed me to another van driver who said ●● Hotel and encouraged me to get on. I felt a bit forgotten? I should have recognized my name being called, but it didn't feel like that... Well, I made it back to the hotel safely, so that's good. We returned in the morning, so we could play in the afternoon as well.

2人で参加しました。
ピックアップは時間より少し遅れて・・・
ボートには3家族で乗り、
日本人用に説明書きのパウチがありました。
写真を撮るか撮らないかも聞かれました。
＄30で買わないなぁと思ったので断りました。
海ポチャか船に降ろすか選べます。
他の方はみんな海にドボン！
私は携帯で動画を撮りたかったので船に降ろしてもらいました。
戻りのバンがどこなのかわからず、、、
行きのバンの運転手がいたので、ホテル名を言うと
・・・、別のバンの運転手に●●ホテルと言い
乗るように促されました。
何となく、忘れられた？
名前を呼ばれたらわかるはずだけど呼ばれた感じもなく。。。
まぁ、無事ホテルまで戻れたので良し。
午前中に戻ってくるので午後も遊べます。

I took two elementary school students with me!
It was quite empty, probably because it was late August!
However, the attractions were scheduled at specific times, so there were times when they were operating and times when they weren't. We were all wondering if there was a shortage of part-time workers.
There was a Japanese advisor-like person, but their attitude wasn't good. The local staff were much friendlier...

小学生二人を連れて行きました！
8月下旬だったせいか、空いてました！！
でも　アトラクションが時間で割り振っているので
やっているときとやってないときがありましたので、
アルバイト不足かな？？ってみんなで話してました。
日本人のアドバイサーみたいな方がいましたが、態度はよくなかったです。
現地の方のほうがとっても親切でした・・・・

I participated in a submarine tour for the first time. At first, I waited and waited at the meeting point for the 9:30 tour, but no one came, and it was almost 10:00. I started to worry that I had gone to the wrong place and was about to give up when the pickup finally arrived. Although we started off on a negative note, the submarine tour itself was great. We got to see sea turtles, and the kids were excited throughout their first experience in a submarine and seeing the underwater scenery. Not only was the underwater experience amazing, but the views from the boat were also fantastic. We could see Diamond Head the whole time, and we took a lot of great photos. It became a wonderful memory of our time in Hawaii, and I am very satisfied.

初めて潜水艦ツアーに参加しました。
最初、9:30の集合場所に待っても待っても迎えが来ず、時間は10:00前に。場所を間違えてしまったのかと不安になり、もう無理だと諦めかけたところに遅れて迎えが到着。スタートはマイナスからでしたが、潜水艦ツアー自体は良かったです。海亀も見れたし、子供達も初めての潜水艦や海底の景色に終始興奮気味でした。海の中も去ることながら、船からの景色も最高でした。ずっとダイヤモンドヘッドが見え、たくさんいい写真がとれました。ハワイでの良い思い出になり、大満足です。

It was fishing while moving around. There was a lot of sandy ground, and the signs of life were low.

It would be quite difficult unless more bait is spread out.
