コロナ前ですが、クジラを遠くに見ながらジェットフォイル船でお酒を飲んで楽しかったです。60over二人を連れてても全然問題なかったです。また行けるといいなー。

My kids have been anticipating getting out after a couple of lockdowns in Hawaii due to COVID-19. Saturday morning, while their Dad was off for work, we decided to visit Kualoa Ranch. After reading more of their implementation of COVID-19 safety protocol, we felt safe and confident to take one of their tours, so we decided to book their Movie Sites Tour. I also love the fact that HawaiiActivities.com never fails to provide most up-to-date information which is how we found this to be available on that same day.
Upon entering the premises at Kualoa Ranch, numerous signs were displayed to remind guests and staff about wearing their masks, washing hands/ hand sanitizing, and practice social distancing. At the entrance, they checked our temperature and collected our information (first & last name for each of my party members, an email address, and a phone number for contact tracing. Staff & employees, including our tour guide, were wearing face masks. They also installed Plexiglas in every counter (information desks, check-in, ticket desks).
When we got through the gift shop, and the restaurant, hand sanitizers & disinfecting spray/ wipes were also readily available in many areas. We felt safe.
With everything that has been happening around us, it was a wonderful feeling to be out and explore again. We enjoyed our visit, and the Movie Sites Tour was fun! My son (8-year-old) really loved it and have been asking to go back and do horseback riding. My teenagers said they learned a lot! The tour guide was funny and informative, made us laugh throughout the tour! He has great sense of humor; he even brought a dinosaur toy with him for our photo taking at Jurassic Park and I loved how the photo came out!
It was a great day! We were there as a family 10 years ago and we will visit again in the future.

They accommodated my sudden reservation regarding Hawaii. The sandbar had amazing transparency. The BBQ hamburger I had for lunch was freshly made and very delicious. The boat was also clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience.

船もきれいで快適でした。

I have visited many times. It's a favorite spot for kids, but adults can enjoy it too. I saw on Instagram that a singer known as the "Diva of America" visited with her family (though it was probably a private event), so I think it's definitely a place for families with children. I recommend bringing a jacket because the air conditioning on the bus is quite strong.

何度も訪れています。子供たちのお気に入りスポットですが、大人も楽しめます。アメリカのディーバと呼ばれる歌手も家族で訪れて楽しんでいる（貸し切りでしょうが）のをインスタで見たので子供がいるファミリーには間違いない場所なんだと思いました。
行き帰りのバスの空調がきいているので上着は持っていった方がいいと思います。

It was far away, but I somehow saw a whale (^_^;) While I can't expect much from the meal, it's nice that the ship itself is large and spacious. Since it's nature, you can't always expect things to go as planned, but if you're lucky, you might see some jumps. Please join with an open heart.

遠くですが、なんとなく(^_^;)クジラさんが見えました。お食事は期待できませんが船自体が大きくてゆったりできるのは良いですね。自然の事なので常に期待通りとはいきませんが、運が良ければジャンプとか見られるそうです。広い心で参加して下さいね。

The weather was nice and it felt very pleasant. I was able to see it a few times, but I had imagined there would be many more up close, so it was quite far away and a bit disappointing. I thought it might be dangerous to get too close, but it was too far to feel the impact. I think it's good to go with the mindset of just wanting to see a little bit! I wasn't able to see the appearance like in the image photos.

天気もよくてとても気持ちよかったです。
何度か見ることができましたが、もっと近くにたくさんいるのを想像していたので、かなり遠くて少し残念でした。おそらく近づきすぎたら危険だからかなと思いましたが、遠すぎて迫力はなかったです。少しでも見れたらいいな、という気持ちで行くといいと思います！イメージ写真のような姿は見れませんでした。

We participated as a family, but the sea was rough, and seasickness peaked, plus we were disappointed that the whales didn't show up. The kids enjoyed the scenery from the boat.

家族で参加をしましたが、海も荒れていて船酔いがピークな上、クジラも姿を現さずに残念でした。子供は船から景色を楽しんでいました

I participated with my elementary school child. We entered right at opening and lined up for the available slides, riding them multiple times. Some slides are closed at certain times, so be careful about that. We didn't rent a locker and left our belongings, except for valuables, on a sheet. Lunch requires a lot of waiting, so we lined up early and had a light meal. The wave pool was also fun. The child got bored faster than I expected (laughs), so we waited a little until the bus back.

朝一から入場して、空いているスライダーに並んで何度も乗りました。
時間帯で休止しているスライダーもあるので注意が必要です。
ロッカーは借りずに、貴重品以外の荷物はシートをひいて置いておきました。
昼食はとにかく並ぶので、早めに並んで軽食を食べました。
波の出るプールも楽しかったです。予想よりも早く子供が飽きてしまって（笑）帰りのバスまで少し待ちました。

It was raining from the morning, but miraculously, it cleared up at the sandbar. ☀️ I played volleyball with the staff, and the cold was blown away. The hamburgers for lunch were also hearty and delicious. My child spilled hot cocoa and got burned, but they quickly helped cool it down with ice and even lent us some ointment, which was really helpful. Thanks to the friendly and cheerful staff, we had a wonderful day.

スタッフの方とバレーボールをし　寒さも吹っ飛びました。
お昼ご飯のハンバーガーも　ボリューミーで
美味しかったです
子供が　ホットココアをこぼし、やけどしたのですが
すぐに氷で冷やして下さり　軟膏まで貸してくださって　本当に助かりました。フレンドリーで陽気なスタッフのお陰で楽しい１日が過ごせまた。

On the last night of our trip, we decided to have dinner at a restaurant. This was our first time trying an Italian place, which is a famous restaurant always featured in guidebooks, so it was very helpful to be able to make a reservation in advance.

The food was indeed as wonderful as the reviews suggested. The portion sizes were just right—not too much and not too little. The staff's service was attentive, and we were almost completely satisfied.

However, one disappointing aspect was that we were seated on the terrace, but the weather was unpredictable that day, and we experienced a sudden downpour. We were seated a bit in the middle and got a little wet. The couple sitting on the outer edge was exposed to the wind and rain, which was quite unfortunate. Additionally, the heavy traffic on the road to the north was a bit of a letdown.

Is it only possible to reserve a table on the terrace in advance? If we visit again, I would prefer to book a table indoors.

旅行最後の夜は、レストランでディナーをすることにしています。
今回初めてイタリアンのお店を利用しました。ガイドブックに必ず紹介されている有名店なので事前予約できるのは、大変助かりました。
お料理はやはり評判通り素晴らしかったです。量も多過ぎず少な過ぎずちょうどいい感じ。スタッフのサービスも行き届き、ほぼ満足できました。
ただ、ひとつ残念だったのは、テラス席に案内されたのですが、その日は天候不順で途中もの凄いスコールに………。私たちは少し中ほどの席で少し濡れてしまいました。一番外側に座っていたカップルは、風雨にさらされ、とても気の毒でした。また、北側道路は交通量が多く、少し興ざめしました。
事前予約は、テラス席でしか取れないのでしょうか。
次回利用することがあれば、店内の席で予約したいと思います。

I was able to see whales quite well. However, it may depend a lot on luck. When I went, it seemed that there was only one whale nearby, and I saw it come up to the surface a few times. There are times when you can see multiple whales. You can't get too close to the whales (it seems that getting too close is prohibited). Also, when they come up for air, they dive back down, so you have to wait for a while for them to surface again. The whales are great, but the rainbow was very beautiful, and you can also see Waikiki Beach from the ocean side. That view was nice as well.

鯨はしっかり見られました。
ただしかなり運にも左右されるかもです。自分が行ったときには一頭しか近くにはいなかったようで，それが海面まで上がってくるのを何回か見た感じです。
何頭も見られるときもあるようです。
鯨はそこまで間近で見られるわけではありません（あまり近づくのは禁止されているようです）
また息継ぎをすると潜ってしまうので，次上がってくるのをしばらく待つことになります。
鯨も良いですが，虹がとてもきれいに見え，またワイキキビーチを海側から見えます。そちらの眺めも良かったですね。

My my what can I say about Captain Bobs?! I have now gone on Captain Bobs Adventure 3 times now!! Everytime I have visited Hawaii, I have taken new friends and family to experience this amazing tour that is fun filled for all ages. The crew is exceptionally welcoming and entertaining and it is just one of the best experiences I've had in Hawaii.

You can either get picked up by their shuttle or drive yourself to the pickup spot and your day goes from about 10:30-3:00pm give or take. They continue the tour rain or shine so if the weather seems kind of gloomy, be sure to take a light rain coat! The first two times I went the weather was nice and sunny, however the last time I went there were scattered showers that were on and off throughout the whole tour. It did get a little chilly but once you're swimming in the water it's not so bad.

My favorite part of Captain Bobs is the Sandbar part where you get to play volleyball, stand in the middle of the ocean, and eat some delicious burgers, beans, and nachos after! You get to see a bunch of sea turtles swimming while on the way to the Snorkeling area and then you get to snorkel among the reef, Since it got kind of chilly after they even gave us hot chocolate/tea!

My recommendations are: bring sunglasses, towel, light rain jacket, water shoes, underwater phone case to take photos, snacks, and most of all, bring your A game to play volleyball!

I participated in whale watching. I was able to see 4 or 5 whales spouting in the distance. I was thrilled to see the whales, but it was also great to be on a boat with many native speakers, which added to the atmosphere.

ホエールウォッチングに参加しました。遠くのかなたで潮を吹いているクジラを4、5頭見られました。くじらを見たことも感激しましたが、ネイティブの方が多く乗っている船で、その雰囲気がよかったです。

There were mostly Japanese groups. We were the only group of individual applicants, and I was worried about whether we would see whales. There were many announcements in Japanese, and we were able to see whales several times right next to the boat. Even dolphins came close to the boat. I am very satisfied.

日本人は、団体ばかり。個人申込の日本人グループは自分たちだけ、クジラも会えるか心配でした。
日本語の案内も多く、クジラも何度も船のそばで見る事ができました。イルカまで船の近くまでやって来ました。大満足です。

First of all, if you are thinking about swimming with dolphins, it's better to refrain from participating. You will only be able to see the dolphins swimming on the ocean floor from above, and that lasts just a moment.

To catch that brief glimpse, you will be waiting on the boat for a long time. However, the excitement and sense of achievement when you finally see them is incredible. I was thrilled.

You will be swimming tirelessly to reach the dolphins' location, so it can be tiring. But it's fun. You must have the determination to see the dolphins. Once everyone has seen them, there will be free time with activities like a slide, which is very enjoyable.

By the way, I heard that on the previous day's tour, they weren't able to see any dolphins, so it can depend on luck. Also, it gets cold on the way back, so don't forget to bring a jacket. I think it's a good idea to change out of your swimsuit in the restroom as well.

まずはじめにらイルカと一緒に泳げるとかと思ってる方は、参加をご遠慮したほうが良いです。　
イルカが海底で泳いでいる姿を上から眺める程度です。それも一瞬です。
この一瞬を見るためひたすら船の上で待機です。その分、見れたときの感動や達成感はすごかったです。興奮してました。
ただイルカがいる位置までひたすら泳ぐので、疲れます。でも楽しいです。絶対イルカ見てやるという気持ちでひたすら泳がなければなりません。全員が見れたら、スベり台など自由時間となります。とても楽しいです。
ちなみに、前日のツアーではイルカを見ることができなかったと言ってましたので、運にも左右されます。
こちらのツアーも帰りは寒いので上着などは忘れずに。トイレで水着から着替えるのも良いかと思います。

We were overly impressed with the dinner cruise and had so much fun!!
It was nice to experience the dancing and music of several Polynesian islands. The sunset was amazing and the night view of Waikiki and Honolulu was pristine. So glad we decided to do this to celebrate our 37th anniversary!

The guide was fantastic, She was very informative and engaging. The bus tour and lay out of all the sites were very good. Well worth your time and money. The lunch buffet was very good. Souvenir shop was not over priced and a lot of memories to take home. Friendly and helpful staff. We will go again next year as we are already booked to return to your beautiful island home.

My first whale watching experience was wonderful as I got to see a mother and calf whale. I thought we might be able to see them a bit closer, but I understand that it’s a matter of the whales' safety. The boat was large. Since it was a plan without meals, those who had breakfast included were enjoying a buffet before departure. It would be better for those without meals to eat beforehand. I didn't expect to see whales so close to Honolulu; the view of Honolulu from the sea was also very beautiful. Not only the whales, but I could also see Diamond Head beautifully from the ocean. It was a very elegant cruise.

初のホエールウォッチングで、親子の鯨が見れてとても良かった。もう少し近くで見れるかと思った。鯨の安全性の問題なので仕方ないと思った。船は大きい船だった。食事なしのプランだったので、朝食付きの人は出港前にブッフェを食べていた。食事なしの人はご飯を食べていった方が良い。ホノルルからこんなに近いところで見れるとは思わなかった、海から見るホノルルもとても景色が良かった。鯨だけでなく、ダイヤモンドヘッドも綺麗に海から見れた。とても優雅なクルーズだった。

It was my travel companion's husband's long-awaited whale watching experience, and we participated with a light-hearted attitude, thinking it would be lucky if we got to see any whales.

Although it was a large boat and we couldn't get too close, we were able to see whales jumping about three times at a distance that was clear enough to observe with the naked eye. I thought it would have been nice to have binoculars.

同行者の夫念願のホェールウォッチングでしたが、見ることが出来たらラッキーだね。くらいの軽い気持ちでの参加でしたが、

大型船なのですぐ近くとは行きませんが充分肉眼で確認できるほどの距離でのジャンプを3度ほど見ることが出来ました。
双眼鏡を持っていたら良かったかなと思いました。

I saw whales in the distance about three times. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see them as much as I had hoped, but on the way back, a large group of dolphins came close to us. They jumped a lot, and just the dolphins alone were very enjoyable to watch! It was a great deal that one child was free with the campaign.

クジラは遠くに3回ほど見えました。
思ったより見られなくて残念でしたが帰りにイルカの大群が近くに来てくれました。
たくさんジャンプしてくれてイルカだけでも充分見応えありました！
キャンペーンで子供1人無料だったのがとてもお得でした。

This was my fourth dolphin tour. This time, I participated with my son and his wife. After hearing my stories, they were both eager to go and looking forward to it. The waves were calm, the temperature was pleasantly warm, and we were blessed with great weather, which was completely different from last time. The number of dolphins we encountered was by far the highest this time! The clarity of the water was also the best it has ever been! We saw a lot of fish too! My son and his wife were very satisfied and said they would definitely go again next time. I've participated multiple times, and the staff has always been very nice. The tour bus seems to get more luxurious every time I join (laughs). I definitely want to participate again, no, I will participate!!

今回で4回目のイルカツアーでした。
今回は息子夫婦と3人で参加しました。
私の話を聞いて、二人とも絶対行きたいと、楽しみにしていました。
波も穏やかで、気温も程よく暖かく、前回とは全く違って天気に恵まれました。
イルカと会えた数、今回がダントツで一番でした！
海の透明度も今回が最高でした！魚もたくさん見れました！
息子たちも大満足で、次回も絶対に行くと言っていました。
何回も参加していますが、スタッフの方もとてもいい感じです。
ツアーのバスは参加する度にリッチになっていますね（笑）
またぜひ参加したいと思います、いえ、参加します！！

I was worried about seasickness, so I thought a larger boat would be safer and decided to join this tour.

● Transportation
★ The pickup was by a larger bus, gathering at a nearby hotel.
★ On the way back, I was able to get dropped off at Ala Moana.

⚫︎ Meals
★ I hesitated about including breakfast, thinking that the food on the boat might make me feel sick, so I decided against it.
★ Many people opted for breakfast, and everyone was eating before the boat started moving.
★ Since there was time before departure, it was possible to eat if you brought your own food.

⚫︎ Whales
★ As for the whales, we saw them!! However, we couldn't see them very closely.
We could see them spouting water and their tails from a distance.
★ On the way back, a pod of dolphins appeared, and we were able to see them up close, which was very satisfying!

船酔いが心配だったので、こちらの大きめの船なら安心かなっと思いこちらのツアーに参加しました。

●送迎
★送迎は大きめのバスで近くのホテルに集合でした。
★帰りはアラモアナで降ろしてもらう事も出来ました。

⚫︎食事
★朝食付きか迷いましたが、船の中の食事は気持ち悪くなるかも、、と思いやめておきました。
★朝食付きにしてる方は多く、船が動き出す前に皆さん食事をとられていました。
★持参しても出発まで時間もあるし食べる事は可能です

⚫︎くじら
★肝心のクジラは、、見れました！！ただやはりそんなに近くではなかなか見れなかったです。
潮をふいているのと、しっぽが遠くですが、みえました。
★帰りにイルカの群れが現れてくれてそちらは至近距離で見られたので大満足です！

There were various slides, and it was a lot of fun. Climbing the slopes to get to the slides was quite challenging! Since it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded. It seemed like there were few staff members, and they were operating the slides at intervals. If you miss the timing, you can't slide. But a pool without crowds is incredibly enjoyable! Even if you get a little hurt, there was a staff member in the first aid room who applied medicine for me. It's reassuring for families with children, and of course, there was no charge for it.

色々なスライダーがあって楽しかったです。スライダーの為に、坂道をたくさん上らないといけないのが、結構大変でした！ｗ　平日だったので混雑は無かったけど。スタッフも少ないようで、スライダーの運行を時間おきに対応していました。タイミングを逃すと、滑れないスライダーが。でも混雑してないプールって最高に楽しいです♬　　ちょいと怪我をしても、救護室に先生もいて薬塗ってくれました。お子様連れも安心かと。もちろん費用はとられません。

I was able to see dolphins! It was moving to see them jumping. The hamburger I had as a light snack was also really delicious!

イルカみることができました！飛び跳ねるところもみれて感動でした。また軽食のハンバーガーも本当に美味しかったです！

I didn't have high expectations, but it was very pleasant and the scenery was beautiful. When a whale is spotted, they announce it and let you know where it is, so if you keep an eye out, you might see a mother and her calf quite close by. It was quite moving. It felt like time stood still, and it was very healing. I want to participate again, but my husband seemed to struggle with seasickness, so for those worried about seasickness, it's better to take medication in advance to enjoy it more. Definitely give it a try!

余り期待はしてなかったのですが、とても気持ちが良く、景色も良かったです。
クジラが見えたら放送がかかり、どの辺りにいるって教えてもらえるので、ずっと見張ってると親子かな？結構近くにいてみれました。
何か感動～
時間が止まってるかのようで癒されました。
又参加したいけど、旦那が船酔いしてしんどそうで、船酔いの心配の人は薬を飲んでおいた方が楽しめます。

Thank you for a wonderful day, filled with great family memories! The staff was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. The food was tasty! We enjoyed all the picturesque views from the sand bar. The snorkeling was safe. I was one of the last passengers in the water and I was still able to spot a great amount of marine life! Overall this activity was a family favorite!

It had been raining since I arrived in Hawaii, but finally, it was sunny on this day! Although the water clarity wasn't great due to the continuous rain until the day before, I really enjoyed the beautiful ocean! I was also happy to encounter a lot of sea turtles.

ハワイきてからはずっと雨でしたが、この日はようやくの晴れ！
前日まで雨が降り続いたことで透明度は高くなかったみたいですが、キレイな海満喫しました！
ウミガメもいっぱい遭遇できて良かったです。

After a young guide named AYA gave us a tour of the museum, the lesson began. I could barely keep up; my husband was in charge of the music, and a Japanese female teacher taught us dance in Japanese. Since I was alone this time, I paid for two people to receive the instruction.

最初にミュージアムの案内を若いAYAさんがしてくれた後、レッスン開始。ついていくのがやっとでした、旦那さんが音楽担当で日本人の女性の先生が日本語でダンスを教えてくれました。今回一人でしたので、二人分の費用を払って教えてもらいました。

It took about 20 minutes by taxi from Hokulani Waikiki to get there, costing $35 with HANA Taxi. On the way back, it was also $35 to Ala Moana Shopping Center. Since we arrived too early, we sat on a bench and found free Wi-Fi. We flew with JAL this time, so the Rainbow Trolley didn't stop at the Bishop Museum, and I reserved a taxi for the return trip, but it would have been better not to. This is because there was a café called Café Leria, and there were many other things to see. The three-story building had an elevator, so my elderly mother was able to tour it. The guide was an older lady named Noriko, who briefly introduced various plant names and showed us around the museum. I was clumsy with the lauhala weaving, so Noriko helped me, but my 85-year-old mother was able to make it on her own.

行きはホクラニワイキキからタクシーで20分ほどHANAタクシーで35＄、帰りはアラモアナショッピングセンターまで35＄。早く着きすぎたので、ベンチに座っていたら無料のWi-Fiがありました。今回JALでしたのでレインボートロリー、ビショップミュージアムにはとまらないので帰りもタクシー予約しましたが、HANAタクシーはLINEで日本語で来てくれるので帰りの予約はしないほうが良かった。なぜなら、カフェレリアガあったそうでしたし、他にもたくさん見るべきものありました。3階建ての建物にはエレベーターがついていて高齢の母でも見学出来ました。案内してくれたのは年配のNORIKOさん、いろいろ植物の名前、館内を簡単に案内した後、ラウハラ編み私は不器用でしたのでNORIKOさんに手伝ってもらいましたが、85歳の母は自分で作れました。
