We chose the trip with the tour because we had nothing else scheduled for the day, and I'm glad we did! After visiting the memorial, we were able to go aboard the USS Missouri and spent a good amount of time there. Afterwards, our super nice guide took us around town showing us all of the main attractions and was able to answer all of our questions! We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel which made this really convenient. I would recommend this to everyone! We were back by early afternoon so still had plenty of time left to do our own thing for the rest of the day. Great experience!

We had such a great time! Our tour guide was so personable and made the most of our trip. The tour of Downtown Honolulu is a must if you have the time!

I participated in a tour during the season when whale watching is enjoyable. First, we set sail from the harbor and enjoyed wonderful views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the Navatek. Onboard, there was a free coffee service, and we could purchase snacks at the shop, as well as receive explanations about whale ecology.

After that, we arrived at the whale watching point, where the boat slowly circled to help us spot whales. While I was eagerly scanning the ocean, two whales spouted water. Cheers erupted from various spots on the boat, and I couldn't help but shout out in excitement. After about an hour of sailing without seeing any whales, we were taken to the next point. There, as we continued to scan the area, a whale splashed water and jumped right in front of us. All the tour participants cheered with joy.

Through this tour, I had the rare experience of actually seeing whales. Thank you very much.

　今回、ホエールウオッチングが楽しめるシーズンということでツアーに参加しました。まずは港から出航しナバテック号からワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドなどのすばらしい景色を楽しむことができます。また、船内ではコーヒの無料サービスや売店などで軽食を購入することができ、ホエールの生態などの説明も受けることができます。
　その後、ホエールウォッチングのポイントに到着し、ホエールを発見できるようにゆっくり旋回してくれます。わくわくしながら目を凝らして海を眺めていたその時です。２匹のホエールが潮吹きをしました。所々で歓声があがっていました。私自身も思わず声をあげて興奮しました。その後、1時間ほど航海するもホエールがいなかったので、次のポイントに連れて行ってくれました。そこでもしばらく旋回しホエールを発見できるように目を凝らしていると、目の前でホエールが水しぶきをあげて、ジャンプをしてくれました。ツアー参加者全員が声をあげて喜んでいました。
　今回のツアーを通じて実際にホエールを見ることができて大変貴重な経験ができました。ありがとうございました。

We participated as a family of three with our 6-year-old child. It was fun. The child was able to enjoy snorkeling, and there were many sea turtles, which was great. The view of Waikiki from the ocean was also nice. Above all, I liked the relaxed style of enjoying time on the water without any rush. You can drink alcohol, and the boat was very nice and spacious.

However, even though it was the peak season at the end of the year, I thought over $400 for three people was a bit high. The shuttle service at $30 per person seemed expensive. Moreover, it was supposed to depart from Waianae, but it actually left from a port just past Ala Moana. If that was the case, I could have just driven there myself.

Most participants were American, and the style was American as well. It felt friendly, cheerful, and laid-back. The shuttle time changed by 30 minutes without notice, and I only found out after calling. All the explanations on the boat were in English, and there was no special consideration just because we were Japanese. Therefore, I think those who cannot speak English at all might feel a bit confused. On the other hand, I believe this type of tour, with its American style, is suitable for those who do not particularly like the intense atmosphere of Japanese-style optional tours. I heard that there are Japanese staff on some days.

Since we are going abroad, I think it would be more interesting to participate in a tour like this, with American participants and style, rather than one that is mostly Japanese.

Also, I think it's better to take motion sickness medication. My wife felt seasick towards the end and had a tough time, even though she rarely gets motion sickness in cars.

6歳の子供を連れて家族3人で参加。
楽しかったです。
子供も楽しくシュノーケル出来ましたし、海亀達も沢山いて楽しかったです。海から見るワイキキの景色も良かったです。
何より、あくせくせず、ゆったりと海の上の時間を自由に楽しむスタイルが良かったです。お酒も飲めるし、船はとても素敵で、ゆったりしてました。
たた、年末のピーク時期とは言え、3人で400ドル超は高いかなと
送迎が一人30ドルってのが高い。
しかも、ワイアナエ出航のはずが、アラモアナの先のすぐそばの港発になってましたからね。それなら自分で運転して行ったっつーの。

参加者の殆どはアメリカ人でしたし、スタイルもアメリカ式でした。
フレンドリー、陽気、自己責任、いいかげん。といった感じです。
送迎時間が勝手に30分変わってて、電話で聞いて始めて知る。とかね。
船内でも説明はすべて英語、日本人だからといって、特別に気を使われるわけではないです。
ですので、英語が全くできない方の場合、ちょっと戸惑うと思います。
逆に、日本式のオプショナルツアーの暑苦しい感じがあまり好きでない方には向いてると思います。
日によっては、日本人のスタッフもいるそうです。

せっかく海外に行くのですから、日本人ばかりいるオプショナルツアーに行くよりは、参加者もスタイルもアメリカ式のこういったツアーに参加した方が面白いかなと思います。

おと、酔い止めは飲んだ方が良いと思います。嫁さんは後半船酔いしてしまい辛くなっちゃいましたので。
車では滅多に酔わない程度の強さはあるのですが。

Excellent Tour definantly would go again. Nice friendly staff.

I previously went on a whale watching cruise in Australia, where I was able to see various jumps up close, so I thought, "Let's experience that excitement again," and decided to participate. The boat was stable, and I didn't feel much rocking.

They communicated the direction of the whales using a clock reference, which I thought was a clear way to express it, but we weren't able to encounter any whales for a while. After quite a bit of traveling, we finally spotted a spout in the distance, and everyone cheered, focusing their attention on that point, but it seemed to dive and we heard nothing afterward.

After running for a while longer, we saw another spout at a similar distance. It felt like the whales were escaping whenever we tried to get closer. Another whale was spotted in a different direction, raising everyone's hopes, but it was just a spout again. I think we saw a little bit of its back, but it was far from being an emotional experience.

Since we were running off Diamond Head, it felt more like a tour of viewing Diamond Head from the sea. When I spoke with others who participated, they mentioned that they had seen whales during a dolphin swimming tour the day before, and they even jumped. It seems that even this level of encounter counts as an encounter, but it didn't qualify for the statement, "If you do not encounter a whale, we will issue a pass for a free re-boarding of the whale watching cruise."

以前、オーストラリアでホエールウォッチングクルーズをしたことがあり、いろいろなジャンプを間近で見ることができたので、「感動を再び」と思い、参加しました。
船は安定感があり、揺れはあまり感じられませんでした。
クジラがいた方向を時計で伝えるとのことで、わかりやすい表現でよいなとは思ったものの、クジラとなかなか遭遇できない。
かなり走った後、遠くで潮吹きが見られ、みんなも歓声を上げ、視点が一点に絞られたのですが、潜ってしまったようで音沙汰なし。
またしばらく走ると、同じくらいの距離で潮吹き。
近づこうとすればクジラは逃げていく感じでした。
別の方向に鯨が発見され、みんなの期待も高まったのですが、やはり潮吹き程度。少しだけ背中が見られたかな。
でも、感動とはかけ離れたものでした。
ダイヤモンドヘッド沖を走るので、まるで海からダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めるツアーのような感じでした。
参加された方とお話をしたところ、昨日のイルカと泳ぐツアーでクジラを見ることができて、ジャンプもしてたとのこと。
この程度の遭遇でも遭遇には変わりないようで、「クジラに遭遇できなかった場合、ホエールウオッチング・クルーズに無料で再乗船できるパスを発行致します。」には該当しませんでした。

This is a pool located about a 40-minute drive from Waikiki. In December, the wind can feel a bit chilly, but it's not too bothersome if the sun is out. The attractions change every 30 minutes, but you can easily tell which rides are operating by the lines of people. It was unfortunate that the Tornado was closed all day. It's quite rare in Hawaii to enjoy both alcohol and tobacco together (you receive a wristband when you order alcohol).

ワイキキから車で40分程度のところにあるプールです。12月は風が若干肌寒く感じますが、日差しがあればそこまで気になりません。稼働中のアトラクションは30分ごとに入れ代わりますが、動いている乗り物は人が並んでいるのですぐにわかります。トルネードが終日クローズだったのが残念でした。ハワイでは非常に珍しく、アルコールとタバコを一緒に楽しめます。（酒を頼むとリストバンドを付けられます。）

It was my first whale watching cruise in Hawaii, and the weather was great. Shortly after heading out to sea, we encountered a mother and calf whale, and we were able to see whales multiple times until the cruise ended. Due to Hawaiian law, we had to maintain a distance from the whales while watching, but there was one moment when a whale appeared right next to the cruise ship, and I was amazed by its impressive size. It was such a sudden appearance that I regretted not being able to take a photo. The cruise ship, the Navatik, was a catamaran, which meant there was little rocking, making for a comfortable cruise. I heard that during the season, whales can also be seen from Waikiki, but being able to see them up close from the cruise ship really allows you to feel the power of the whales. I highly recommend this cruise for anyone planning to go whale watching.

ハワイでの初ホエールウォッチングクルージングでしたが、天気も良く沖に出て間もなく親子くじらと遭遇しクルーズが終了するまで何度もくじらを見ることができました。ハワイの法律でくじらに近づいてはだめとのことで距離を保ってのホエールウォチングでしたが、１回だけクルーズ船のすぐそばにくじらが現れたときは迫力の大きさに感動しました。いきなりの出現でしたので写真がとれなかったのは残念でした。またクルーズ船もナバティック号で双胴船のため揺れも少なく、快適なクルージングでした。シーズン中はワイキキからもくじらが見えるとのことでしたが、やはりクルーズ船で近くで見れるのはくじらの迫力を身近に感じることができて感動します。ホエールウオッチングを予定されている方には、おすすめのクルーズです。

とてもシステム化されていて、関心しました。
流れも比較的ズムーズです。

シュノーケリングの資材も貸してくれるので、バスタオルでもあれば楽しめます。
その代わり人数は多かったです。日によるのかもしれませんが。
昼はハンバーガーです。

ウミガメが泳いでいるのを5-6匹見られました。
シュノーけリング最中にも1匹見ました。
かめハラスメント規約があるそうで、追いかけたり、触ったりすると15000ドル？の罰金が取られることがあるそうですので、ご用心を！

I was able to go whale watching at a closer distance than I imagined! I was able to see not just one whale, but two or three, and the photos turned out great. The explanations and guidance in Japanese were easy to understand, and even the staff who didn't speak Japanese were very friendly and accommodating. The boat was clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed the views of Hawaii from the sea! It was a very enjoyable cruise, and I was lucky enough to see not only whales but also dolphins. I highly recommend it! ♪

想像以上に近い距離でホエールウォッチングすることができました！
クジラも１頭だけではなく、２頭、３頭見ることができ、写真もばっちりでした。
日本語での説明や案内も分かりやすく、日本語が通じないスタッフの方たちもとってもフレンドリーで対応が良かったです。
船もきれいで、海から見るハワイの風景も満喫することができました！
クジラだけじゃなく、イルカなども運よく見ることができ非常に楽しいクルーズになりました。

I ordered a paid cocktail on board, and since I was returning home the next day and didn't have enough US dollars on hand, I requested to pay with my card. The other guests at the same table were immediately asked to sign for their credit cards, but my card was not returned. When I inquired, they asked if all my orders were complete, and after I confirmed they were, they said they would bring it right away, but it never came. Even after prompting again, nothing happened. When I asked a Japanese staff member in Japanese if they were skimming my card, it was returned, but they said, "You should pay with cash or a traveler's check instead of a card," and as they left, they patted my shoulder and said, "This is normal in America. It's different from Japan."

I said I didn't want to pay a tip, but they insisted, "Please give what you feel," and I paid $2 on a $16 order, but I didn't want to return it and pay for the cocktail. I have traveled to mainland America and have been to more than five states. This does not seem normal for America. I was without my card for such a long time, and even after three prompts, all I got was "wait."

I am more disappointed with the poor staff response than not seeing the whales. I would never recommend this to my friends.

船内で有料のカクテルを注文し、翌日が帰国のため手持ちの米ドルが心もとなかったため、カードでの支払いをお願いしました。
すると同じテーブルの他の客はすぐにクレジットカードにサインを求められてましたが、私のカードは戻ってきません。
催促すると全ての注文が終わっているか確認され、終わっていると告げるとすぐに持ってくると言うものの一向に来ません。もう一度催促してもダメ。日本人スタッフに日本語でスキミングでもしているのかと問いただすと、カードは戻って来たものの、「カードではなく現金かトラベラーズチェックで払えばいい」と言い、去り際には「アメリカではこれが普通。日本とは違うのよ」と私の肩を叩いていなくなりました。
チップは払いたくないと言いましたが「お気持ちでください」と請求され、16ドルの注文に2ドル払いましたが、返品してカクテル代も払いたくありませんでした。
アメリカ本土にも旅行したことがあります。五つ以上の州にも行ってます。アメリカの普通とは思えません。それほど長い時間カードを返して貰えず、3度の催促にも「待って」だけでした。
クジラが見えなかったことより、スタッフの対応の悪さにがっかりです。
友達には絶対勧めません。

Crew was great and very friendly did a good job making the minority English speaking tourists feel welcome. Would have appreciated a little more tour of the waters around that side of Oahu rather than pointing at various things and saying there's Gilligan's island as we headed back at end of day.

What a GREAT experience for a first-time flatlander a little afraid of the ocean! Ashlyn & Jenner attended to my every fear and made the experience SO much more enjoyable. Thanks for a great experience. I would do this tour again & I'd go with this company again. I would recommend it to my friends.

I went on a sandbar tour during the cold period at the end of November, which was not during low tide. It was indeed cold, and I couldn't see the sandbar like you do on TV, but the sea was beautiful, I enjoyed snorkeling, and I even saw sea turtles. It was a very satisfying tour. The tour guides were also very attentive and made sure we had a great time, which made the experience even more fulfilling.

11月末という寒い時期に、干潮時間ではないサンドバーツアーに行きました。
確かに寒くてテレビで見るようなサンドバーは見れませんでしたが、海は綺麗で、シュノーケリングも楽しめたし、海亀も見れて、大変満足なツアーでした。
ツアーガイドの方々も私たちを存分に楽しませようとしてくれるのがわかって充実しました。

It was raining dogs and cats, so the Pearl Harbor tour was shut down on that day...We only saw a video of Pearl Harbor...luckly we still have USS tour, we had wonderful time in the battleship!

At Sandbar, we enjoyed the ballet with the participants, and my daughter swam with sea turtles and took underwater photos. Mantas were playing, appearing and disappearing next to the boat. I would love to join this tour again.

It was a solo trip, and I was able to easily experience the sandbar. The staff was fun, and it ended in the morning, allowing me to make good use of my afternoon.

一人旅だったし手軽にサンドバーを体験且つスタッフも楽しく午前中で終わるので午後の時間が有効に使えた。

It was an excellent tour. All of 7 of us came back ALIVE :-).

Kudos to the captain and his crew. Despite the choppy sea, he was able to find us a peaceful spot to do all activities. Standing at the sand bar was a very unique experience. I would do this tour all over again.

Unfortunately, the sky wasn't perfectly clear, but I was glad I didn't get sunburned. The Japanese staff were very cheerful and energetic, and of course, all the other foreign guests were also very pleasant. Due to the tides, there was more water than expected (I thought it would be completely dry land, but there was water up to my ankles), and I could see the underwater scenery beautifully while snorkeling, and I was able to see many turtles during the turtle watching. It was a pity that the early morning plan ended in October, but there is still plenty of time after returning to Waikiki, and I would like to take my elderly mother next time.

あいにく快晴の空ではありませんでしたが、日焼けしなくて良かったかな。
日本人スタッフの方もとても明るくて元気で、もちろん他の外国人の方々もみなさん感じが良かったです。
潮の満ち引きの関係か予想より水がありましたが（まったくの陸地になっているのかと思いましたが、足首くらいは水がありました）、シュノーケルではとても綺麗に海の中が見えましたし、タートルウォッチングもたくさんの亀を見ることができました。
もっと早い早朝プランが１０月で終了してしまったのは残念でしたが、ワイキキに戻ってからもたっぷり時間はありますし、次は高齢の母を連れて行ってあげたいと思います。

I wasn't feeling very well on the day of the event. I participated with some worry, but I was very happy that the crew was considerate.

The snorkeling was quite cold! I'm glad I could have a warm drink. Unfortunately, the sandbar wasn't very visible, and the water came up to about my knees, but I would like to come back at a better time. Thank you!

シュノーケリングはかなり寒かったですね！温かい飲み物頂けてよかったです。
残念ながら、サンドバーはあまり見えていなくて膝上くらいまで海水きてましたが、また時期の良いときにリピしたいです。

The sandbar, where the depth is visible through the colors, the sea turtles waving occasionally on the waves, and the hamburgers made with patties grilled on the boat… everything became a wonderful memory. I participated with my 2-year-old daughter, and we had a great time.

色合いで深さがわかるサンドバー、ときどき波の上で手を振るウミガメさん、船上で焼いたパテをはさみ、頬張ったハンバーガー…すべてが良き思い出となりました。2歳の娘を連れての参加でしたが、十分楽しめました。

This is our third time at Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii, and we always look forward to it as a family. This time, we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest within the time we had. We want to come back again next year!

It had an intensity that you don't find in Japan, and it was fun. There were slides named Tornado and Twist, and they were indeed just as described.

日本にはない激しさがあり、楽しかったです。トルネードやツイストというネーミングのあるスライダーがあり確かにその通りでした

A tour just as the title suggests! The dream I always saw on TV became a reality! I was worried about seasickness, but we were fine (a few others experienced seasickness).

題名の通りのツアー！いつもＴＶで見ていた夢が現実になりました！
船酔いも心配でしたが、私たちは大丈夫でした（ほかの方は数名船酔い）

I apply for this tour every year, and every year, Japanese student part-timers have handled the reception (name verification and wristband distribution). However, this year, the driver (who did not speak Japanese) managed everything alone, which caused a significant delay at the reception, resulting in a departure that was 50 minutes late from the scheduled time. This is the only negative point.

It seems to be due to cost-cutting on labor, but since this is a service industry aimed at Japanese customers, I believe that if the service in this area deteriorates, the number of participants will decrease. The facility itself was the same as always, and I was able to enjoy it.

毎年このツアーを申し込んでいますが、毎年、日本人の学生のアルバイトの方が、受付（氏名確認やリストバンド配布）などを行っていたのですが、今年はドライバーの方（日本語NG）が一人でやっていたため、受付に大変時間がかかり、集合時間の50分遅れで出発となりました。この点だけマイナスポイントです。
人件費削減等によるものと思われますが、日本人相手のサービス業なので、
この辺のサービスが悪くなると参加者が減ると思います。
施設自体はいつもと変わりなく、楽しむことが出来ました。

The weather was nice, but due to the season, it was a bit cold with the wind blowing. I was wearing a rash guard, so I managed to cope, but I might have caught a cold without it. After the sea turtle watching cruise, there was time for diving, but it was cloudy, so it was a shame that I couldn't see the clear ocean. The crew was friendly.

天気はよかったものの、季節的な事もあり、風が吹いてちょっと寒かったです。ラッシュガード着用していたので、凌げたですが無かったら風邪ひいてたかも。ウミガメウォッチクルーズの後ダイビングの時間があったけど、雲って来たので澄んだ海の中は見られなかったのが、残念でした。クルーはフレンドリーでした。

Anyway, the beautiful sandbar was surpassed by the amazing guide, Sachi!

Her light-hearted talk, accurate advice, and wealth of little information were all top-notch. Unfortunately, I was too scared to go snorkeling, but it seemed like everyone, including small children, was enjoying it. I ended up with water in the underwater camera I brought, so I can't upload any photos.

兎に角、あの美しいサンドバー、を上回る程、ガイドのサチさんが最高でした！！！

トークの軽妙さ、アドバイスの的確さ、プチ情報の豊富さ、どれをとってもピカイチ。
残念ながら、私は怖くてシュノーケリングが出来ませんでしたが、小さなお子さんをお含め、みなさんシュノーケリングを楽しんでいらした様です。
私は折角持って行った水中カメラになんと水が入り、写真がアップ出来ません。

I stayed at Aulani in October. Although I was alone, there were staff members who spoke Japanese and provided thorough explanations, so I had no issues. I didn't get to see any dolphins, but I was able to see many sea turtles while snorkeling, and I enjoyed spending an hour in the ocean, which was great. For breakfast, I had pastries, and for lunch, I made sandwiches with bread, vegetables, cheese, and ham as I liked. Eating after snorkeling on the yacht was very delicious and satisfying. However, there was one issue. I happened to share the same last name with another group of Japanese guests, and it was mistakenly noted that I wasn't participating. After returning home, I contacted them, and they responded politely, which was good. When I go to Hawaii again in July next year, I would like to participate with my family.

１０月アウラニ宿泊時に利用しました。１人でしたが、日本語を話せるスタッフがいて、しっかり説明をしてくれたので問題はありませんでした。イルカには会えませんでしたが、シュノーケルでウミガメをたくさん見られ、１時間じっくり海で楽しめたので良かったです。朝食には菓子パン、昼食はパンに野菜やチーズ、ハムを好きに挟んで食べました。ヨットの上でシュノーケル後に食べるととても美味しく満足でした。ただ一点問題がありました。もう一組の日本人とたまたま同姓で、私が参加していないことになっていました。帰国後連絡したところ、丁寧に対応していただけましたので良かったです。来年７月にハワイに行く時は、家族と一緒に参加したいと思います。

My mother really wanted to see the sandbar, so we planned our visit considering the tour schedule and the tide times. I went with a slight hope that there might be some sand visible, but unfortunately, the sandbar was completely submerged. It was shallow enough that my mother was happy, though. How many days a month can visitors actually stand on the sandbar? I have been to Long Beach in Palau, so I wasn't particularly impressed. I think people who haven't been to Palau would find it quite moving, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who have. However, we did get to see a lot of sea turtles, which was really fun. I didn't expect to see so many!

母が、ぜひサンドバーを見たいとのことで、ツアーの時間と、干満の時間を考えて参加しました。砂が少しでも出ているところがあるかなーとわずかな期待をもって行きましたが、やっぱり砂州は一部分も出ていませんでした。それなりに浅かったので母は喜んでいましたが。月に何日くらいお客さんが砂州状態に立てるのでしょうか。私はパラオのロングビーチに行ったことがあるので、感動がありませんでした。パラオに行ったことがない人は、それなりの感動が得られると思いますが、パラオに行ったことがある人にはお勧めしません。ウミガメにはたくさん会えて楽しかったです。あんなにいるとは思いませんでした。
