We were lost, we called 4 times and no one would pick up our calls before ship left us behind. Someone should be there to answer the phone to help out of state customers, we were a group of 6 Senoir Citizens lost in another state. We all lost all our money we called 45 minutes before ship left.

I thought this was a tour that you can only experience during this season! At first, I was really worried about whether we would actually see anything, but I was glad to be able to witness the whales' spouts and the moment they dive for the first time.

最初は本当に見えるのか不安でしたが初めて鯨の潮や潜る瞬間を見ることができよかったです。

It was very good. My high school and university-aged children really enjoyed it. The surfing experience on the board was quite difficult but fun, and the slide was incredibly enjoyable; we went down it many, many times. We were never bored and made the most of our time sliding. While waiting in line for the board, my children were happy to make friends with people from overseas and had various conversations. I also thought the food was delicious for a facility like this. I would like to visit again when I come to Hawaii.

高校、大学生の子供満喫しました。
ボードでサーフィン体験もとても難しいが楽しく、また、スライダーがとてもとても楽しくて、何度も何度も滑っていました。全く飽きず、時間いっぱいまで滑って満喫しました。ボードができるのは、列に並んだ際、海外の方と仲良くなり、いろいろ話しができたと喜んでいました。
ご飯も、こういう施設の中では美味しいと思いました。
また、ハワイに来た際は訪問したいです。

We did this dinner cruise on a Friday for the fireworks. They served lobster and steak for dinner, the lobster was a whole lobster, the meat was a little tough to chew, the steak was done to much. The show they put on after the fireworks was absolutely phenomenal, they got everyone involved. Even with the mediocre meal I still would recommend this dinner cruise.

My family had a great time at the Chief's Luau Show. We paid more for the Royal seats and received the royal treatment. I also got a free weaved bowl, went onstage, and received a bouquet of flowers since we had an anniversary >20 years. Great dancing - loved the fire show. A great show and good food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu.

I visited with my 8-year-old daughter and my wife. There are various slides to enjoy, and I think they are perfect for kids of this age. However, there were many crying children, so I recommend that those who are not fond of thrilling attractions avoid the more intense slides.

We are not particularly averse to slides, so we had fun together with our child. There was one incident during our visit; we had to take off our sandals to go down a slide, but it seems that a bee was inside my child's Crocs when we put them back on, and unfortunately, she got stung. She cried loudly, and we received treatment from the staff at the first aid station. The staff reassured us that it was a non-venomous bee, and after a simple treatment, we returned. However, for about an hour, she couldn't move due to the pain and kept crying.

During that time, I was really researching whether the bee was indeed non-venomous, and we concluded that it was probably a black hornet (which is said to be mildly venomous but causes strong pain). We debated whether to go home, but since there were no signs of hives or swelling and our child wanted to continue playing, we decided to stay. Now, four days later, I’m writing this, and since it was her first bee sting, it seems there are no particular issues.

For children who love pools, this place is a paradise. I hope everyone else enjoys their time while being careful of bees. By the way, my child says she wants to go again.

8歳の女の子の子供と妻と自分の3人で訪れました。
色々なスライダーが楽しめますし、この位の子供にはぴったりな気がしますが、泣いている子も多かったので、絶叫系のアトラクションが苦手な人は激しいスライダーに乗らない事をお勧めします。

私たちはスライダー系は特に苦手ではないので、子供と一緒に楽しみました。
途中一つハプニングがあり、スライダーはサンダルを脱がなければいかずおいて乗ったのですが、その後履く時にどうやら子供のクロックス内に蜂がいたらしい運悪く刺されてしまいました。子供はギャン泣きし、係員さんと医務室で手当てを受けました。係員さんからは毒はない蜂だから安心してと言われ、簡単な手当てを受けて戻りましたが、その後1時間くらいは痛みで動けず、子供は泣いてばかりでした。

その間本当に毒が無いか蜂について調べていましたが、多分黒スズメバチだという結論になり、(弱毒で痛みが強いらしい)様子を見て帰ろうか悩みましたが、蕁麻疹や患部の腫れ等も無かったこと、子供が遊びたがっていた事から遊びを続行しました。結論4日後にこれを書いていますが、蜂に刺されたのも初めてなので特に異常はないように思います。

プール好きな子供にとってはパラダイスです。
他の皆さんも是非蜂に気を付けて楽しんでください。ちなみに子供はまた行きたいと言っています。

I had participated in the 3-Star cruise several times before, so this was my first time on the 5-Star cruise. There was no welcome party on board, and the food was disappointing; in the end, they didn't even serve coffee. I felt that the atmosphere and food were better on the 3-Star cruise, so I will choose the 3-Star next time.

This was my first trip to Hawaii after COVID, but I noticed that the number of participants on the Star of Honolulu has decreased significantly. It felt like there was no longer the same vibrancy as before.

今まで何回か３スターに参加していたので初めての５スターの参加でした、船上でのウエルカムパーティー等もなく料理も期待外れ最後はコーヒーも出してくれませんでした。３スターの方が雰囲気も料理もよく感じました、次回から３スターにします。
コロナ後で初めてのハワイでしたがスターオブホノルルの参加人数がとても少なくなっていました、以前のような活気もなくなっていたように感じます。

When I presented the voucher at the window on the right, I was immediately given the tickets prepared under my reservation name along with a Japanese pamphlet, allowing for a smooth entry. It was disappointing that some attractions were not operational, but overall, I had a great time!

There are many attractions with height restrictions, so it might feel a bit pricey if you're visiting with small children. Of course, there are also play areas for little ones.

The all-you-can-drink soft drinks, like the flat Pepsi and somewhat diluted Tropicana, weren't very tasty.

稼働していないアトラクションがあったのは残念でしたが、全体的に楽しめました！
身長制限のあるアトラクションが多いので、小さいお子様連れであれば割高に感じるかもしれません。もちろん、小さい子向けの遊び場もあります。

飲み放題のソフトドリンクは、炭酸が抜けたペプシや少し薄いトロピカーナ等、あまり美味しくありませんでした。

Even small children can enjoy it, but be careful as there are height restrictions. You will have to wait in line for lunch and drinks. You can bring in water that hasn't been opened.

小さい子も楽しめますが、身長制限があるので気をつけて。

This was my first time participating. I took my child with me.
At the beginning of April, the weather forecast predicted cloudy skies, but there was more sunshine than expected, and the sun was strong. Sunscreen is a must.
It was a weekday, so there were fewer people. There were plenty of floaties available in the wave pool. However, there were also fewer staff members, so it felt like there were not many attractions open.
There were many Japanese people, making up over 60% of the visitors, I think. I accidentally mixed up my shoes with a similar pair, but a kind Japanese person helped me find and return them. I am truly grateful.
My child was very satisfied, and time flew by; the hours from 10:30 to 15:00 felt very short for us parents!

今回初めての参加でした。子供を連れて行きました。
４月はじめで、天気予報は曇りでしたが、晴れている時間の方が長く、日差しは強かったです。日焼け止めは必須ですね。
平日で人は少なかったです。波の出るプールでの浮き輪は充分に行き渡ってました。ただし、係員も少なく交代で行っているので、空いているアトラクションも少ない感じです。
日本人は多く、約6割を超えてたと思います。似た靴があって靴を間違えてしまいましたが、親切な日本の方が、探してくださって届けてくださいました。本当に感謝です。
子供は大満足で、時間が経つのはあっという間で、10:30から15:00は親でもとても短く感じました！

This time, we traveled as a family of five. To be honest, it was quite expensive when converted to Japanese yen, so I hesitated, but I had been interested in it for a while, so I decided to go for it.

When we actually went, the weather was nice, the sea was more beautiful than I expected, and the kids had a blast playing beach volleyball, diving, and snorkeling. The hamburgers we had for lunch were exceptionally delicious. We were able to enjoy a different kind of experience from the beach.

I'm glad we went.

今回5人家族での旅行。正直日本円に換算するとかなり高額になるので迷いましたが以前から気になっていたので思い切って申し込みました。
実際行ってみたら天気もよく、海が思った綺麗でビーチバレーや飛び込み、シュノーケルできて子供達も思い切り楽しめて、ランチのハンバーガーがとびきり美味しかったです。ビーチとは違った楽しみ方ができました。
行って良かったです。

The whole experience was wonderful and memorable. We opted for a couples picture and it turned out great! We love the firework and the amazing dancers. Had a great time and would do it again!

For our first overseas trip, I took my father and mother with me to Hawaii. We made reservations because there are fireworks on Friday, and I wanted to end our last night with delicious food.

As a result, we created the most wonderful memories and got great photos! We enjoyed delicious meat and seafood in an amazing location. With jazz music playing and the sunset right in front of us, we went outside to enjoy the photos and the sunset while waiting for our food. We were also able to see the fireworks perfectly.

Both of my parents were delighted, and when I asked them what was the best thing they ate in Hawaii, they said it was the meat and lobster we had on the last day!

初めての海外旅行である、父と母を連れて３人でハワイへ。
金曜日は花火が上がるのと、最終日の夜は美味しい食べ物で終えたかったので予約しました。

結果、最高に良い思い出と写真をGETできました(^^)
美味しいお肉と海鮮、最高のロケーション。ジャスが流れ、目の前にはサンセット。
料理が出るまで外に出て、写真や夕陽を楽しめました。花火もばっちり見ることができました。

両親共に喜んでくれて、1番ハワイで食べて美味しかったものは？と聞いたら、
【最終日に食べたお肉とロブスター】でした！

Hanauma Bay has become reservation-only after COVID, and while it's great to have guaranteed entry, I think the early morning schedule and the rental/transportation prices are high. Is there a way to make it cheaper if you only need transportation without the rental? (Entry is possible if you wait in line, so it might be possible to go by Uber, but it could be difficult to enter on the day without a guide from a service.)

ハナウマ湾がコロナ後予約制になり、個人での予約が難しい中、確実に入れるのはありがたいが、朝が早くレンタル/送迎の値段としては高いと思う。レンタル不要で送迎のみでもっと安くならないか？（入場は並べば良いので、自分でウーバーで行く事も可能かもだが、業者同行がないと当日入場は難しいかも？）

The guides were very kind, cheerful, and lively, and the tour itself was enjoyable!

However, the reason I gave it 4 stars is that I wish I could have enjoyed snorkeling a bit more. About 10 years ago, when I participated in a snorkeling tour in Hawaii, I was amazed to see many colorful fish up close under the guidance. But this time, the dolphins, turtles, and fish were all at a distance... It was disappointing because I couldn't distinguish their colors.

Points to note:
- Even with two long-sleeved rash guards, it was still cold...! It would be good to prepare long pants or consider a wetsuit.

- I read that I should bring just enough money to buy a little food, so I went empty-handed, but at the end, there was a tipping situation, which made it really awkward. Including the tip, it has definitely become much more expensive compared to 10 years ago…!

- For those who are prone to motion sickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must. There were kids sitting there looking unwell the whole time, and it was sad to see.

ガイドの皆さんとても優しくて明るくてノリノリで、ツアー自体は楽しかったです！！

ただ、⭐︎4にした理由は、もう少しシュノーケリングを楽しめたらよかったなぁと思ったからです。
10年前くらいにハワイでシュノーケリングツアーに参加した時は、案内のもとたくさんのカラフルなお魚を間近に見られて感動したものです。
だけど今回はイルカもカメもお魚も遠目で…
色は判別できない距離感だったので残念に思ってしまいました。

注意点
・上は長袖ラッシュガード2枚重ねても寒かったです…！下も長いものを用意するとか、ウェットスーツおすすめ。

・持ち物のお金は少し食べ物が買えるくらいと書いてあったので手ぶらで行ったら、最後チップを払う流れになったのですごく気まずかったです。
チップ含めると、10年前よりかなり高くなりましたよね…！

・酔いやすい人は酔い止め必須です。ずっと気分悪そうに座ってる子達がいて可哀想でした。

In a large facility, two girls were having a great time. The bodyboarding was fun, but it seems the thrilling water slide was the best part. The 123 cm tall girl was also able to enjoy it. Instead of a lunch pack, there was an all-you-can-eat option. The steak was surprisingly tender.

The only downside was the pickup. We arrived at the park 30 minutes late.

It was very organized. The staff were all helpful and happy. I’ve always wanted to see whales and this tour made it all possible. Didn’t want the tour to end!

I think it's less likely to get seasick on a large ship, but when you go up to the fourth deck for whale watching, the height increases the swaying, so it feels quite shaky. If you're concerned, I recommend taking motion sickness medication.

We were able to spot quite a few whales. While we didn't see any huge jumps with half their bodies out of the water, we did see them spouting water and their tails and dorsal fins coming out of the surface multiple times. I thought it would be difficult to search in the vast ocean, but since everyone is watching, you quickly notice when they appear, and it creates quite a buzz. There was also another small boat on a tour nearby, and if that boat is stopped, it means they are observing whales in that area, which makes it easy to understand.

大型の船なので酔いにくい方だとは思いますが、クジラウォッチのために４階甲板の上まで出ると、高くなる分揺れの幅が増幅されるため、体感的にはかなり揺れる気がします。ご心配な方は酔い止めおすすめします。

クジラは結構目撃することができました。体半分飛び出すような大ジャンプは見られませんでしたが、潮吹いたり、尾びれ・背びれ？が水面から出てきたりするのは何度も見ることができました。だだっ広い海原で探すのが大変かと思いましたが、みんなが見ているので現れるとわーっとなるのですぐ気がつきます笑。同時に別の小型の船もツアーで近くにいましたが、その船が止まっている場合はその近くにいる（観察中）ということなので、それもわかりやすいです。

I heard that the ocean is more beautiful than Waikiki Beach, so I decided to join. It was tough to wake up early and participate, but Hanauma Bay was more stunning than I imagined. I also think there are more fish to see compared to Waikiki Beach. I wasn't confident in my swimming skills, but I enjoyed the wide area where I could stand in shallow water.

ワイキキビーチよりも海が綺麗との話を聞き参加しました。早朝に起床し参加するのは大変でしたが、ハナウマ湾は想像以上に絶景でした。また、見ることのできる魚の数もワイキキビーチより多いと思います。私は泳ぎに自信がありませんでしたが、足のつく浅いところの範囲も広く楽しめました。

Great menu, great pacing, the kids were laughing the whole time and off their cell phones which is a win!!

I was worried about seasickness and took some motion sickness medication, but the waves were less intense than I expected, and I was totally fine. As for the whale watching, I was starting to think we might not see anything, but then I spotted a spout in the distance! Cheers erupted, and in response, the whale showcased its spouts and tail several times. Seeing it live was truly moving.

船酔いが心配で酔い止め飲みまいたが、思ったより揺れが少なく、全然平気でした。
肝心のホエールウォッチはなかなか見当たらずもしかして、見れないのでは？　と思っていたら、遠くにシューっと潮吹きを発見！歓声が上がり、それに答えるように何度も潮吹きや尾びれを披露してくれました。生で見るとほんと感動です。

You can see a lot of fish at waist-deep water, making it enjoyable for snorkeling beginners. Although it was a bit cold to stay in the water in March due to the clouds, once you get in, it’s not a problem.

腰の高さの水深で沢山の魚を見ることができ、スノーケリング初心者で十分楽しめます。海に入り続けるには３月の曇りは少し寒いですが、入ってしまえば問題なしでした。

The hotel provided a shuttle service, making transportation easy, and the crew on the boat was great at engaging with us, which made it a lot of fun. At the sandbar, we were able to take beautiful photos, and while snorkeling, we saw a sleeping turtle and many colorful fish. The large coral was truly impressive. The kids also had a great time and were very happy, creating wonderful memories. The hamburgers on the boat were also very delicious.

ホテルまで送迎してくれるので移動も楽だし、船のお姉さんも話が上手くて最高に楽しかったです。
サンドバーでは綺麗な写真も撮れたし、シュノーケルでは寝ているカメを見れたり、色とりどりの魚もたくさん見れました。とっても大きい珊瑚に感動でした。
子供達も良かった！と喜んでいてとてもいい思い出になりました。船上でのハンバーガーもとても美味しかったです。

I had a very meaningful morning! Unfortunately, I didn't understand about 80% of the English explanations, but when there were whales, it was very easy to understand the direction based on the time on the clock relative to the boat. On that day, we were able to see a small whale jumping, and everyone on the boat was really excited! I tend to get motion sickness and was worried about seasickness, but there was hardly any rocking, and I was able to enjoy it comfortably. If you're visiting Honolulu during this time, I think this is an activity you absolutely should participate in!

非常に有意義な朝の時間を過ごすことができました！！英語の説明は残念ながら8割わからなかったですが、クジラがいた時には船を基準にして時計の時刻で方向を知らせてくれるため、とても分かりやすかったです。
この日は小さなクジラがジャンプする姿を見ることができ、船上もかなり盛り上がっていました！
乗り物酔いしやすく、船酔いも心配していましたが、ほとんど揺れもなく快適に過ごすことができました。
この時期にホノルルに訪れるなら、絶対に参加すべきアクティビティだと思いました！

It was great to see the whale, but it's disappointing that the boat turned back so soon after. To be honest, I wanted to see it a little longer.

その後すぐ船が引き返してしまうのは残念です。もう少し見たかったと言うのは正直なところです。

I participated in Bon Voyage Kobe on the recommendation of Mr. Tamura, and it was great to see whales up close in relatively nearby waters. Unlike Kochi and Okinawa, the waves were lower, so I didn't get seasick, which was a plus.

ボン・ヴォヤージュ神戸　田村氏に勧められて参加しましたが割と近海でクジラが近くで見れて良かったです。高知や沖縄と違って波も低めで船酔いしなかったのがよかったです

This evening was very crowded, not our style but we did like the firework show from the boat.

You are tightly seated within other groups, but regardless of that the crew and entertainment are fantastic.

Even when we got close to Diamond Head, we couldn't see any whales, and I started to give up a little, but then I spotted a spout in the distance. At that moment, the boat sped towards the whale, and we got close enough to see it!

After that, the boat kept pace without disturbing the whale, allowing us to see it with Diamond Head in the background. It was such an emotional moment!

As the boat started heading back to the harbor, the other passengers returned inside, but while watching the whale, I was able to see a huge leap from quite a distance!

On the way back, we also spotted two groups of whales, so I think it's a good idea to look out for spouts. The pineapple banana bread provided after boarding was also very delicious, and we could enjoy it with tea or coffee inside the boat!

There were also announcements in Japanese explaining about the whales, so it's fine even if you don't understand English. Since they are living creatures, you can't always see them, but even if they are a bit far away, the boat gets close, so I’m glad I participated!

ダイヤモンドヘッドの辺りに来てもなかなかクジラの姿が見えないので、今日は見ることができないかもと少し諦めた時に、すっごく遠くに潮吹きが見えました。その瞬間、船がクジラの方に向かってすごいスピードで進んでいき、クジラが見える所まで近づいてくれました！
その後も、クジラの泳ぎを遮らないように、並走してくれて、ダイヤモンドヘッドをバックにクジラを見る方ができました。とても感動した瞬間でした！
船が港へ戻り出した為、他の乗客は船内に戻って行きましたが、ずっとクジラを見ていると、かなり離れていましたが、クジラの大ジャンプを見ることができました！！
帰り途中にも2グループのクジラを見る方ができたので、潮吹きを探してみると良いと思います。
乗船後に提供された軽食のパイナップルバナナブレッドもとても美味しく、紅茶やコーヒーと一緒に船内で食べることができました！
クジラの説明など日本語でのアナウンスもきちんとありますので、英語がわからなくても大丈夫です。生き物ですので毎回見られるとは限りませんが、多少遠くても船が近づいていってくれるので、参加して良かったと思います！
