The zip line experience was amazing. The check-in is done on a tablet. After that, you put your belongings in a locker, which is quite small, so only valuables can fit. Other items can be stored at the reception. After putting on the gear, we set off. The instructions are in English, but you can understand them through the instructor's demonstration. There are no Japanese instructors, but everyone was kind and taught us patiently using gestures, so I wasn't worried. I read in reviews that the full zip has the same route, but aside from the last part where two people slide together, it was a different route, so I enjoyed it! Since you can't request transportation for the half zip, I recommend the full zip.

First of all, Japanese is hardly understood here. Even if you're not good at English, it's better to have at least a basic understanding to keep up. Those who think they can get by without knowing any English in Hawaii might find some things difficult to understand. Many guidebooks mention that Japanese is often not spoken in the North Shore, and that's quite accurate.

There are seven zip lines, but the first one is a practice zip line that is about 300 meters long (including this practice, there are eight zip lines in total). After a brief explanation of the harness and equipment installation precautions, you jump right into the practice. There's no time to be scared; you just have to dive in (laughs). The first tower is about 7 to 8 meters high, I think. As someone with a fear of heights, I couldn't afford to be scared and went for the first practice. Family members and other participants also had to take their turns without hesitation. Once this practice was over, we took a nine-person buggy to the top of the mountain for the main event. The eight main zip lines started from there. There was a brief downpour during the ride, but the two hours flew by.

As the name "Keana Farm" suggests, we slid down over the farm, which felt really nice, and I think the longest zip line of 800 meters is possible because it's on a farm. The kids were also having a great time without any fear.

　７本のジップラインですが、最初のにいきなり300メートルくらいの練習ジップライン（この練習を含めると８本のジップライン）。ハーネスや金具の取り付け注意事項の説明の後すぐこの練習用で実践です。怖いとか言っている暇は無く有無を言わさず飛び込むしか有りません（笑）。最初の塔は７～８メートルくらいは有るのでしょうか。高所恐怖症の私ですが怖いなんか言ってられず１本目の練習を実践。家族や他の参加者の方々も次々と有無を言わさず順番が回ってきます。この練習が終われば本番の為９人乗りのバギーで山頂へ。ここから８本、本番がスタートです。途中スコールも数分降りましたが２時間強があっという間でした。
　ケアナファームと言うだけあって、農園の上を次々と滑り降りていくのでとても気持ちよく最長800メートルという長さを経験できるのも農場だからなのだと思います。
　子供たちも怖がらずとっても楽しんでました。

I had a very enjoyable time. On the day of the event, I got caught in traffic and was a bit late, but I was able to participate without any major issues.

I attended with a group of nine people, including elementary school students. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the attractions. Personally, I was most excited about the first buggy ride. Among the many tours available, I highly recommend this attraction. I believe you won't regret signing up.

As for tips, someone mentioned it, but there was no particular request for them.

I wanted to participate in a tour where I could experience things that can't be done in Japan, so I joined a zipline tour. Since it included pick-up service, I waited before the meeting time, but even when the time came, no one showed up. It said, "If the pick-up doesn't arrive after waiting for 5 minutes, do not leave the location and contact the tour company..." so I made a call (there was no Japanese-speaking staff). The meeting place was the hotel tour lobby, and it seemed to be delayed because there were many other tour participants and the pick-up was from several hotels.

There was no Japanese guide at Keana Farm, so all the explanations were in English, but the tour guide explained things clearly in simple English multiple times. Since the meeting was early in the morning and we returned to Waikiki after 2 PM, it's better to have breakfast beforehand. At Keana Farm, you can buy juice and snacks, but there wasn't a place to have lunch.

You can also enjoy the scenery of the North Shore, and since you can experience the largest zipline in Oahu, I recommend it.

ノースショアの景色も堪能できて、ジップラインもオアフ島最大のジップラインも楽しめるのでオススメします。

First off, i thoroughly enjoy the zip line. It was fun, was farther in the land on the ranch than i have before, so i got to see more stuff.
However, is the aftermath. I duped into thinking the picture i paid for, will be mine. In fact that is false. The ranch puts their logo on all the pictures, on the front. As you can see from the picture i have attach, the one picture i wanted, and actually did something of pose for; i couldn't enjoy. Now when i purchased the pictures, THERE WAS NO LOGO!!! Otherwise i would have mentioned it to them. Unbenounce to me, they took my money and i had to wait to find out about this. Once i expressed my concerns to the place on the telephone, i am talking to a person that company has given empowerment to make decisions for the company. In this case, its my fault i didn't pay attention to what was not shown or told to me. Yes that is right, i am the in the wrong. I bluntly stated, that this is one picture out of all of them that i wanted, because i did a pose and went by myself; because the other times i had to be paired up. I was in the wrong for going by myself. Now the staff that was there doing the zip line were awesome, and i had great time. I am talking about the aftermath, AFTER THEY TOOK MY MONEY!
Needless to say, i lose, they win. I don't get the picture i want, and i have to pay for it! What a great business!!
Unfortunately this will be the last time i will be going to Kualoa Ranch for anything, after this instance, how can i trust a company of their own wrong doings and still having to pay for it? Like i said, it is NOT there when you preview the pictures. It would have been obvious, and i would have known at that time on how it looks and guess what KUALOA? I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THEM!! Instead, you deceived me into thinking i am getting pictures of my good, with the lack of additional information attach onto the picture itself.
First time i was there, i misled about their ATV tour, no different than a shuttle!

I booked a plan that includes transportation! The bus arrived on time, and all the staff spoke English. We participated as a family. At first, it was scary, but since we got used to the gentle course before moving to higher altitudes, we were able to enjoy it without anxiety. There was an instructor who spoke a little Japanese, which was helpful. It would have been even more fun if we could speak English.

Since there are times when you need to hold onto the equipment with both hands, it would be convenient to have a case to hang your smartphone around your neck. I think it would be concerning if you only had it in your back pocket and it fell out.

When we were there, there was water available, but unfortunately, there were no bananas or other fruits (not sure if they ran out?).

I'm not afraid of heights, but at first, I was tense on the swaying launch platform. It was quite difficult to trust the safety belt. (laughs) By the third time, I got used to it and really enjoyed myself. In the second half, I started backward and even went upside down. Even as a couple in our sixties, we had plenty of fun. I went with my sixth-grade child. It was a bit pricey, but I'm glad we signed up! (^o^)/ You don't need to understand English! The staff communicate with gestures and really try to help, and even if you don't understand half of it, you can still have fun.

You'll get used to the zip line after a few tries, and you'll have the chance to take photos and videos. Some people might find the first ride a bit scary, but surprisingly, it goes smoothly.

For the second activity, we played at the Adventure Tower. A staff member guided us, and of course, she was a foreigner and not great at English! But it was fine; you can understand through gestures. It was as fun as Ariyoshi said during the summer vacation!

There were some parts that felt a bit scary (up high), so I thought, "This is definitely free!" and I kept shouting "NO!" while only letting the kids go. They were overjoyed. We played until around 2:00 to 2:30.

I highly recommend you go at least once! There were also quite a few older ladies in their 60s to 70s there.

Thrilling and amazing! I was able to see landscapes I've never seen before in the great outdoors. It's okay if you don't understand English, but it might have been even more enjoyable if I could understand the staff's English... The apple bananas we had along the way were also delicious.

Everything, including the tour, was in English. That was a bit of a downside, but the staff were very considerate, so it wasn't too much of a problem.

Anyway, I had a great time! The weather was nice, and the views were breathtaking; I was truly moved.

During the tour, there was an 85-year-old grandmother and a boy around 10 years old, and both were able to do the zip line, so I realized it's a sport that anyone can enjoy!

Basically, you go down two lines in pairs in order. With three guides, you walk and ski in a group of about ten people, repeating this several times. You can't bring drinks, but there are about two places along the way where you can drink water.

I participated with two friends! When we arrived at Keana Farm, the receptionist first asked for our names and confirmed if we had a reservation. After that, we checked in on an iPad. We stored our valuables in lockers, and any larger bags or hoodies that wouldn’t fit in the lockers were left with the receptionist.

On the second or third zip line, I was told to grab the reddish rope at the landing point, but I couldn't grip it well and ended up reversing, so the instructor had to rescue me. I felt really sorry and apologized, but the instructor was very kind and said it was okay in English. More than anything, it was cool to see them helping me (laughs). Although I couldn't communicate in Japanese, they taught me with gestures. I love thrill rides, so I really enjoyed the zip line!! I want to do it again. We participated as a group of five adults, and it was incredibly fun. Initially, we booked a package that included transportation, but on the way back, we wanted to eat Kahuku shrimp, so we changed to meet on-site and went by rental car. The facility felt new.

The weather was a mix of sunny, cloudy, and occasionally drizzling rain. Since we were dressed lightly, I thought it felt cold even with a little rain, but they provided disposable ponchos. Wonderful service! However, it got hot once I put it on. When the rain stopped, I thought, "Well, I don't mind getting wet," and returned it.

Our group consisted of 11 people (four adults and two children from the mainland U.S. joined us), and we had three guides. They were very attentive to safety and constantly checked on us, which made us feel secure. As mentioned in the reviews, Japanese wasn’t understood, but they made an effort to engage us with encouragement, funny faces at times, pointing during important moments, and repeated explanations (in English), so we generally understood. After explanations, they would demonstrate with "like this?" and if it was okay, they would say "ok!" or if it was slightly off, they would use their bodies to explain, which reassured me. I have a fear of heights, but I felt completely fine. Perhaps it was because I felt safe.

Along the way, we could freely take water, mini tomatoes, and macadamia nuts at certain points. However, there wasn’t much time to relax, so we quickly drank and ate before moving on. Even at 71 years old, I managed just fine. I brought my smartphone in a waist pouch. I also had a strap to hang around my neck, but they advised me that the waist pouch was better (in English). We could take photos at key points, and they took pictures for us, which made for great memories.

I have sensitive hands, so I bought floral gardening gloves at a 100 yen shop. They didn’t look great in photos, but I thought it would help with the strain on my hands when holding the rope while climbing. No one else was wearing gloves, but I was glad I used them to prevent hand irritation.

途中、ポイントで、水や、ミニトマト、マカダミアナッツが自由に摂れます。でもゆっくりくつろいでる時間はないので、さっさと飲んだり食べたりして次に進む感じです。前後のグループもいるので程よくドンドン進みます。
日本人は私たち以外には、後ろのグループに2人いたようです。
けっこうお高めですが、それだけの価値はあります。71才でも全然平気。スマホはウエストポーチに入れて持っていきました。首からかけるストラップも持ってましたが、ウエストポーチのほうが良いと言われました（英語で＾＾；）要所要所で撮影できるし、撮ってくれるので記念になりました。

手荒れの私、100均で花柄の園芸手袋買っていきました。写真写りはかっこわるいけど、ロープを持って上に上の時に、手に負担があると思ったからです。手袋してる方はいませんでしたが、手荒れ予防に使ってよかったです。
