I participated in a beginner mountain biking course. It was a tour where we rode down the mountain on mountain bikes. First, we were driven to the starting point. After adjusting the sizes of the bikes and helmets, we had some time to practice, so it was fine even if it had been a while since I last rode a bike. The downhill ride was very refreshing as I felt the wind rushing past me. The course was from 12 to 3 PM, but since we stopped at various points to take photos and rest, the time flew by. I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the negative ions, which was a lot of fun, different from being at the beach. As a side note, due to the impact of COVID-19, the park where we were supposed to have lunch was closed, so we received water, sandwiches, and snacks and were taken back to the hotel about 30 minutes earlier than planned. I participated in a 2-hour mountain bike course. I was very worried about the weather after arriving in Hawaii, but I was able to join the tour without getting rained on☆

There were three cheerful foreign tour conductors, a foreign couple, a solo foreign participant, a Japanese couple, and our group, making a total of about 15 people biking around the island. Since I wasn't used to riding at first, it was great that they provided ample practice time.

It felt like we were touring movie locations, as there were famous spots used in movies like Jurassic Park and Jumanji, which would definitely excite those familiar with the films! ^ ^

Once we went to a slightly elevated area, we were greeted with stunning views, and the surroundings were filled with nature, allowing us to feel the negative ions!

The tour conductors were very nice, possibly because our group was showing such great enthusiasm! Even if you don't understand English, communication is totally possible! They took a lot of photos for us and were very kind.

The hotel pickup started around 10 AM, and we returned to Waikiki before 4 PM, so we had a lot of fun! The kids in our group also praised it as the most enjoyable part of this trip☆

映画のロケ地を巡る感じだったので、要所要所にジュラシックパークやジュマンジなどといった有名映画で使われた跡などもあり、映画をご存知の方であれば興奮度も増すのではないでしょうか？^ ^

少し小高い場所へ行ったらとても素晴らしい景色が溢れていたり、周りが本当に自然だらけでマイナスイオンを感じられます！

ツアーコンダクターの方も私たちのグループがとびきりいい反応を見せていたからか良くしてくれました！
英語が分からなくてもコミュニケーションは全然とれます！
写真もたくさん撮っていただいて優しかったです笑

朝10時ごろにホテルのピックアップが始まり、ワイキキに帰ってきたのも16時前とかだったので、だいぶ楽しめました！
一緒にいたグループの子たちも今回の旅で1番楽しかったと絶賛しています☆

服装は確かに汚れてもいい服、動きやすい服で行くのが1番です！
雨が降る降らないに関係なく汚れると思ったほうがいいかもですね^ ^

The weather on the day of the event was perfect. My wife, who is usually not accustomed to riding a bicycle, and I participated together, and we both had a fantastic time!

For those who regularly ride mountain bikes, the trails might feel a bit lacking, but the stunning scenery, the impressive mountain ranges, the beautiful blue sea, and visiting locations that have been used in numerous films made it all incredibly enjoyable.

I think the course overlaps with most other activities, so I highly recommend experiencing it on a bicycle while feeling the wind!

私たちは、日本人のカップルと4人でのグループでした。ガイドさんは英語のみですが、私たちが皆若いグループだったので、スピーカーで音楽をがんがんかけたり、お菓子くれたり、写真の撮影も色々指示してきたりと、とにかくノリノリで楽しかったです。
当初迷っていたバギーツアーと途中道ですれ違いましたが、写真スポットでもバギー自体が大きく大人数のグループで道に止めることができないからか、すぐ走って去っていたし、獣道みたいなところを進めるところも含め、やっぱりｅbikeにしてよかったなと。
天気も良く、服が汚れず、素晴らしい絶景の中を風をきって進むのはとにかく気持ちがよかったです。
値段が高いですが、またやりたいアクティビティです。

This was my first time participating after seeing it featured on TV. The pickup was smooth and on time. The bus's air conditioning was too strong, and even though I complained to the guide, it didn't help; everyone seemed to endure it. It had been raining all morning, which made me anxious during the journey, but once we arrived, the sun came out, and I felt relieved. The orientation was also easy to understand in Japanese.

All the participants on the E-bike were Japanese. The road was a bit muddy due to the rain, but we enjoyed cycling while taking in the scenery without speeding. The guide couldn't speak Japanese, but he was humorous and guided us carefully, taking photos for us, making it a fun hour.

I participated with my husband, but the explanations at key points were tough for me since I don't understand English. (My husband understands English, so he was fine.) Also, the mountain bikes don't have mudguards, so my back and butt got splattered with mud and turned completely brown. It won't come out even after washing. Therefore, it's definitely better not to participate in a white T-shirt or anything like that.

In the morning, I rode an electric bike, and in the afternoon, I was supposed to go kayaking, but it was canceled due to bad weather.

コースは２つあるようで初めの分かれ道で分かれました、一つは女性のいるグループ、もう一つは男性のみのグループ。
私は男性のみのグループでしたが、インストラクター曰くこっちの方が激しく楽しいそうです。

本当にスリリングで体力を使う内容で、

景色は綺麗、コースも大自然を堪能できます。ジュラシックパークの映画でみた光景も何箇所かみれます。
ただし、本当に危険な場面もありました。無理をせずにスピードを抑えて楽しんでください。

I was torn between horseback riding and mountain biking, but ultimately chose mountain biking. It was the right decision! There was a decent amount of exercise, but the breeze I felt while pedaling was amazing! I had prepared myself for a wait until the bus on the way back, but we participated in the 12:30 session, finished at 2:30, and took the 3:00 bus back to Waikiki, so it worked out perfectly.

I had a great time.
It was a one-hour electric-assist mountain bike tour, and the hour flew by.
The explanations were in English, but even if you don't understand English, you can get the gist from the video visuals.
Since it's electric, you can ride smoothly and it's really enjoyable.
However, the trails are steep, and because of the fast pace, it does require some stamina.

It was a one-hour mountain biking course. The staff accompanied us at the front and back, and at several spots, we stopped to listen to explanations and take photos. When I asked the staff to take pictures, they used props to create fun photos and videos, which was really enjoyable!

The mountain biking ended just after 10 AM, but the return bus only departed at 1 PM, leaving us with over two hours of free time... Since there were no other activities I wanted to add for an extra fee, I canceled the return bus (no refunds) and made my way back on my own with THE BUS.

I experienced the 2-hour E-bike course and the sea kayaking course at Kualoa Ranch! The E-bike was really, really fun! The scenery was breathtaking, and since it’s an electric bike, it was not tiring at all. The guide was very cheerful and took photos and videos for us! I thought the 1-hour course might not be enough, so I’m glad I chose the 2-hour course! The sea kayaking was a bit scary with the waves, and we didn’t progress very well, but the guide helped pull us along, so we managed to reach our destination! The lunch was a bit disappointing, but both experiences were truly great!

However, it can be quite tiring, and you sweat a lot. Although there is electric assistance, there are ups and downs, so you need to pedal hard yourself. We participated in a two-hour course as a couple. Since we don't usually ride mountain bikes, we were a bit anxious, but it was great that we had some time to practice in a wide area before hitting the course. Plus, the electric assist made it easy and comfortable to ride. On the wide paths, we rode in two columns, but since it wasn't a race, if you felt confident, you could move to the front of the group, and if not, you could just take it slow at the back. You generally get the hang of it once you join. We were at the front of the group, following the staff.

There were several places along the way where we could take breaks and take photos. The staff were kind, and if you asked them, they were happy to take pictures for you. I think it would be nice if they could provide towels and water as well.

Actually, we initially planned to join a four-wheeler buggy tour, but switching to the e-bike was the right choice. The reason is that if the group at the front happens to be slow, it can feel like a traffic jam, and you might find the pace a bit lacking. Even if you want to go ahead, you can't overtake due to the width of the course. With the e-bike, you can adjust the formation of the line based on the pace, and if you encounter a slow-moving buggy group, you can easily overtake them. In fact, this option offers more mobility and comfort. The day we participated was cloudy, so it was nice and cool while riding.

実は最初四輪バギーのツアーに参加する予定でしたが、eバイクにして正解⭕でした。何故かと言うと、グループの先頭がたまたま遅かったりすると、渋滞っぽくなりゆっくりだらだら進むため、人によったら物足りなさを感じるかもしれません。先にいきたくてもコース幅の関係で追い抜きできませんし。eバイクならペースにより列の編成を変えたりできるし、ゆっくり走るバギーのグループに出くわしても端からガンガン追い抜き出来ました。実はこちらの方が機動力もあり快適です。参加した日は曇りだったので走ると涼しくてよかったです。
