There was something for everyone in our group of 11 people (ranging in ages from 3 to 68). Lunch was tasty, the crew was great, and everyone found things to enjoy. Booking was easy and the area is beautiful. We even saw a sea turtle swimming with us!! We definitely recommend this for other families.

Due to the price, I was debating whether to purchase this excursion for a family of four. I bit the bullet and purchased it; let me tell you, my experiences from the beginning to the end of the trip, it was magical. Just the drive to the location was a joy in itself, engulfed with the "aw" moment, witnessing the green mountains to the curvy roads. As we arrived at the boating dock, the instruction instructed us to check in near the deli Shop under the red umbrella. We were greeted by smiles and they quickly got us onto the boat after signing the waivers. The boat ride to Kaneohe Bay was worth it-the purchase included a simple breakfast (donuts, orange Juice, and water), live music (please tip the band), and the scenery was heavenly. The best part of this excursion was seeing my family enjoying every moment in the clear water, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The staffs were friendly educating us about the sea animals when we were snorkeling.

Overall, one of the best experiences ever. I would definitely do this again if I were to be in Oahu.

It exceeded my expectations. I participated in two activities, snorkeling and kayaking, in the morning and afternoon. During the bus ride, the driver provided fun explanations and conversations, making the journey enjoyable without getting bored (the driver was incredibly funny and friendly). They were busy giving us sightseeing information, pointing out things to the right and left.

However, there was one issue: at the snorkeling site, the tour description stated that "life jackets are available for free," but I was told that this was not included in the tour price. Even when I mentioned it was written on the voucher, they insisted it was different. Originally, it would have been $10, but since we came on the tour bus, they said it would be $7. There were only my husband and me as Japanese participants; the others were foreigners, and since no one else seemed to say anything, I wondered if they had booked through a different company.

A Japanese staff member was in charge and kindly said, "I'm Japanese, so please let me know if you need anything," which felt a bit strange. I was left wondering if what was written on Veltra was incorrect or if there was a communication issue... It left me feeling uncomfortable.

As for the snorkeling itself, I was able to see turtles and various fish, which was enjoyable. For lunch, I had garlic shrimp from the snorkeling side, and they were huge and delicious! However, there were many chickens running around nearby, and as someone who isn't fond of them, I couldn't fully enjoy my meal. The chickens seemed accustomed to humans and appeared from all over.

The afternoon activity was kayaking, which I had never done before, but I had a lot of fun. At a break during the morning, we stopped by a macadamia nut shop that had Kona coffee, which I couldn't find even in Waikiki. I tasted it and bought some immediately. We also briefly stopped at a place selling fresh fruit in Ziploc bags, where everyone was buying and eating papayas.

Aside from the issue with the life jackets, it was a very enjoyable tour.

午前と午後のアクティビティ、計２つ、スノーケリングとカヤックに参加しました。
バスで移動する間もドライバーさんの楽しい説明と会話で、飽きることなく楽しめました（すごい面白くてフレンドリーなドライバーさんでした）。
右に左に忙しいくらい、観光案内してくれました。
ただひとつ、スノーケリングのところで、ツアー説明には「ライフジャケットは無料で貸し出しします」と書いてあったのに、ツアー代金にそれは含まれていない、と言われ、バウチャーに書いてあると言っても違うと言われ、本来なら10ドルのところ、ツアーバスで来てるから7ドルでOKと言われました。
日本人の参加者は私たち夫婦だけで、他は外国人で、他の人は特に何も言ってなかったので、申し込んだ会社が違うのかなと思いましたが…。
日本人の人が担当で、「私は日本人なので、何かあれば言ってください」とフレンドリーに声かけてきたのですご、なんだかね、って感じでした。
ベルトラに書かれていることが間違っていたのか、あるいは、連絡がうまく伝わっていないのか…不快な気持ちになりました。
スノーケリング自体は、タートルも見られたし魚も色々見られて楽しめました。
スノーケリングの側のガーリックシュリンプをお昼に食べましたが、すごく大きいシュリンプで美味しかったです！
ただ、そばには鶏がたくさん走り回っていて、苦手な私は食事を楽しむことはできませんでしたが。
鶏は人間に慣れているのか、あちこちから神出鬼没でした。
午後のアクティビティはカヤック、初めてでしたがとても楽しめました。
午前中途中の休憩で寄ったマカデミアナッツのお店にはワイキキで探してもなかったコナコーヒーをまぶしたのがあり、味見して、即購入しました。
途中で、ジップロックに入ったフレッシュフルーツを売ってるところにもちょっとだけ立ち寄ってくれ、みなさん、パパイヤを買って食べてました。
ライフジャケットの件を除いては、とても楽しめたツアーでした。

It's an activity in shallow water, so you can enjoy it without any worries. On the banana boat, I had to use all my leg and arm strength to avoid being thrown off, and I ended up with a bit of muscle soreness. I guess I'm not used to exercising. The fish were incredibly cute!

Went with a few friends & we had a good time! The music was great, crew was friendly & helpful, & we enjoyed the floating lounge. I wish inner tubes would have been provided to float in the water, but not a huge deal. Overall, would recommend!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

This was my first time to Hawaii and I took my son and out of all of our excursions this was by far the best one hands-down! Each and everyone of the crew members were so friendly and helpful and made you feel as if you were at home on their tour boat and the music was a great touch. We have never snorkeled or used a paddle board before and this adventure allowed the most beautiful perfect safe spot for our first time. I have never been in water that beautiful and if you were nervous at all some of the crew even stays in the water with you in all the areas at all times. Just book this tour you will not regret it! Thank you for providing my son and I priceless memories that we will cherish forever.

An Island of Fun

The afternoon on the Kaneohe Sandbar was amazing!! There were so many choices of things to do : kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, sunning on the floating deck, or playing volleyball. The reef was filled with beautiful fish and the sand underfoot was smooth and soft. The crew was organized and efficient with each member per for their job effectively. But the icing on the cake was the live entertainment from two very talented musicians who played and sang as we rode out and back to the sandbar. It’s an adventure that I will book again when I return to the island!

North Shore Clear Bottom Kayak Tour & Turtle Watch from Haleiwa Beach

The weather on the north shore can be a little unpredictable, so keep that in mind. Steve gave us a quick lesson and we were on our way.
My wife and I had a great time, and would recommend this to anyone looking to get in the water and see some sea turtles!

Since I didn't check the tide, the water was about waist-deep. I recommend that those who go check the tide schedule, including high and low tides. I have no regrets as my goal was to enter the sea.

I was supposed to be snorkeling at the sandbar by now, but I couldn't get picked up at the designated location. After struggling with the poor response from the tour company, I ended up wasting time and didn't want to inconvenience the other participants who were already there, so I reluctantly decided to forgo the tour.

Until now, I thought I didn't need the phone function on my smartphone as long as I had internet access, but without a public phone and not being a guest at the hotel where the meeting point was, it became an essential function for me.

It was already challenging to make a call without leaving the meeting point the tour company specified, and after waiting for 30 minutes, I had to ask the hotel reception if there was a public phone. Thanks to the kind receptionist, I was able to contact them using the hotel phone.

At that time, I was told to call a taxi using an app, and although I tried to download the app and request a ride, the poor internet connection caused repeated errors. As the meeting time approached, I had to sadly give up.

Even calling to inform them of my cancellation was a struggle, and in the end, I had to rely on the JAL Pack reception to make the call for me to complete the cancellation. For someone like me, who couldn't use the phone and has limited English skills, it was an exhausting two hours.

If the tour company had arranged a taxi when I contacted them, I might have been able to participate. If I could have communicated via LINE, they might have realized my situation sooner and come to pick me up. I have many requests now, but it was a painful lesson for me.

Today was the only day during my stay when the tide allowed me to see the sandbar, and it's unfortunate that I couldn't reschedule for another day. Both the tour company and participants need to consider how to properly handle emergencies.

ツアー会社の言う集合場所から離れずに電話することがまず難関で、30分待って仕方なくホテルのレセプションで公衆電話があるかどうかを尋ね、親切なレセプショニストのおかげでホテルの電話で連絡させてもらえました。
その時にアプリかなんかでタクシーを呼んで現地まで行ってと言われて、アプリをダウンロードして配車を試みるも、ネット状況が悪くて何度もエラーに。そのうち現地集合時間が迫り、泣く泣く断念することに。
断念するとの電話連絡もひと苦労し、結果JALパックのレセプションに泣きつき、電話をしてもらってキャンセル連絡完了。
電話を使えず、英語も拙い私にとっては、クタクタに疲れた2時間でした。
ツアー会社に連絡した時にタクシーの手配をしてくれれば参加できたかも、LINEで連絡できたらもっと早く気づいてもらえてピックアップに来てもらえたかも。今はいろいろ要望もありますが、私も手痛い勉強になりました。
滞在期間中、唯一サンドバーにお目にかかれる潮位だった今日、他の日にリスケが出来ず残念です。
緊急時の対処がきちんとできるかどうか、ツアー会社も参加者も考えなくてはいけませんね。

I participated with three senior members... I experienced kayaking and SUP for the first time, and I had a great time. The local staff were professionals at creating a relaxed atmosphere, and I never felt uncomfortable; I truly enjoyed being among the young people. While I'm still energetic, I want to challenge myself with many more activities. The return shuttle bus was really cold, so it's essential to have something to wear in addition to a towel.

カヤックにSUP、年甲斐もなく初めて体験しましたが、楽しく過ごせました現地スタッフの人達も場を和ませるプロで一つも嫌な気分にはならず、ホントに若者に混じって楽しませていただきました

Loved this Adventure. Large spacious catamaran. Love the live music. Greeted with smiles, donuts, and tang. Can’t swim? Never snorkeled? This is the place to experience these activities. Water level at the sandbar was knee high. Lots of fish to see hiding in the coral. Don’t know what you’re looking at? Ask the knowledgeable crew. Need a bit of excitement - ride the banana boat - that will wake you up! Highly recommend this adventure.

Great experience with kiddies

We took our 2.5 year old toddler on this tour and it was a wonderful experience. What’s great about this tour is that once you’re out at the sandbar you can paddle board, kayak, snorkel, and/or swim, hangout at the floating deck, etc. I’m glad we had these activities because there’s not that much to do at the sandbar otherwise! I had fun paddle boarding and kayaking with my toddler (wearing a life jacket, which they provide). We were done with the activities after a while and my toddler wanted to be back on the “big boat,” which was also fine because the boat is comfortable, provides shade, and has bathrooms and changing rooms. Just remember to bring some drinks and snacks to enjoy after all the exercise!

I participated in the simplest plan (without optional activities or transportation).

On the day of the tour, I took thebus from Ala Moana Shopping Center, leaving a little after 7:00 AM. There wasn't much delay, and we arrived around 8:10 AM. The harbor seems to mainly serve local fishermen. There was a small shop selling alcohol, soft drinks, snacks, and fishing gear.

There is a changing room on the boat, but it can only accommodate one person at a time, so I think it's better to wear your swimsuit underneath.

Fortunately, there was a Japanese staff member on our tour! Additionally, among the foreign staff, there was someone who spoke Japanese fluently. There were also safety instructions written in Japanese, so those who are anxious about English can feel at ease.

Since I was 29 weeks pregnant, I enjoyed a little snorkeling with my husband and then just relaxed on the boat, but others were really enjoying activities like stand-up paddleboarding and beach volleyball.

When participating, I recommend checking the low and high tide times to choose the best tour time! It was a lot of fun!

当日はアラモアナショッピングセンターを7時過ぎに出発するthebusで向かい、バスの遅れもそこまでなく、8：10ごろには到着しました。
ハーバーは地元の釣り人などがメインで利用されているようです。アルコール、ソフドリ、軽食、釣具などを販売している小さな売店もありました。
船上に着替える部屋がありますが、1名ずつしか利用できないので、水着を下に着てくるのがベターだと思います。

私たちのツアーでは運良く日本人スタッフがおりました！また、外国人スタッフの中に日本語が達者な方もいました。日本語で書かれた注意文も用意されており、英語に不安がある方も安心です^ ^

妊娠29週で参加したため、旦那とシュノーケリングを少し楽しみ、あとは船上でゆっくりするだけにしましたが、他の方々はSUPやビーチバレーなど、すごくエンジョイしていました^ ^

参加の際は是非干潮・満潮時刻と睨めっこしてツアー時間帯を選ぶと良いと思います！
とても楽しかったです！

Great for all ages! My kids said it was the best day ever. They’re 4 & 6. Was able to kayak, SUP and snorkel. Also chilled inside the boat with live music. Everyone was so friendly and helpful showing their Aloha. Would recommend to anyone going to Oahu. Totally worth the price!

I loved the sandbar! The service was outstanding!!! from the guy with the flower in his hat going over the rules and dancing. To the lifeguard that helped us attract fish while snorkeling. Most importantly, I am very happy with the service that was provided by the guy with the sun screen across with nose that gave us kayak and prattle boarding lessons. They all made me and my family comfortable and super welcomed!

The experience was great. The crew and the live music were great. We love all of the availability of the water sports- paddle boats, kayaks, snorkeling, lounging on the barge. The lunch was served right away so we were on a full stomach and it gave a chance for any late strivers to come on board.

Overall just a beautiful experience. The crew was super friendly, and super helpful with first time paddle boarders, snorkeling, and Kayak-ing people . The floating deck was awesome! I have been on a few other afternoon water excursions, by far this was the best one! Croissant sandwich was tasty and brought my own drinks! My kids are teenagers and they Also had a blast with all the activities ! This Trip was perfect for the entire family.. you won’t regret it.
