Wow, we had the best time flying with Sandy and felt comfortable the entire time! The view from above is amazing and being in a helicopter is a "must" experience... And this is coming from someone afraid of flying! Great to see the Sacred Waterfall up close, the USS Arizona under water with the oil leak drifting off was unique, and just the mountains and valleys and ocean views are all beyond beautiful! I'd do it again...

This tour is "Spectacular". It was way beyond expectation. The views from above are really breathtaking, and well worth the cost. You will not be disappointed!! This was my first helicopter tour and I couldn't be happier with it:)

This is an excellent way to see the island. The pilot was friendly and informative. The crew to include the bus driver were great people and very helpful. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Choosing Paradise Helicopters was the best thing I've done while in Hawaii. The staff was courteous and very professional. You knew right away you and your family were in good hands. The ride was superb and worth the money you pay! They don't charge as much as other companies do!!

Absolutely fantastic! Our pilot, Josh, was extremely knowledgeable about Oahu and the sites we flew over. Had the one hour tour and was able to get fantastic photos. Strongly recommended to anyone wanting an informed view from the skies.

The company was very professional. The pilot was very knowledgeable and personable and provided a great narration. We saw 2/3rds of the island and had some exciting moments flying over cliffs and through valleys. Unfortunately, the hull-mounted video camera quit working just 5 minutes into the 45 minute ride. We were certain we wanted to buy the video of our flight and the accompanying narration so we were disappointed that it wasn't going to be possible. The company provided us with a sales DVD that included many of the same sights we experienced, however, the special nature of the video of our flight was lost.

Our first activity of our week on Oahu, and our favorite. Pricey...yes, but exciting. And, it gave perspective to all the things we did later in the week. Our pilot pointed out, as we flew over, where the President usually vacations, where Gilligan's Island was filmed, where Jurrasic Park was filmed, the Marine base, the closed, dangerous falls, the plantations, the North shore and Sunset Beach, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and flew us on the same approach the Japanese took in 1941 across Hickam and Wheeler Fields and down onto Pearl Harbor. Brodie, our pilot is a former Marine stationed on Oahu. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Brodie spotted two Grey Whales off the North shore, flew out a bit and did some orbits over them so we could all see them. My wife forgot her light jacket, so a ground employee lent his hoodie to her. Absolutely magnificent!

This was an excellent short intro adventure helicopter tour. The staff was professional, friendly and accomodating from the moment we arrived. My wife, daughter and her friend thorougly enjoyed this and will be looking forward to doing it again when we return.

We went to Hawaii in 2007. We had to go back because my husband didn't get to take a helicopter tour. The helicopter ride was the best part of our 8 day stay in Oahu.

Wonderful trip. Super pilot. The view great, beyond my expectation. I enjoyed the shuttle from and to the hotel. The trip in the air. It was a suprised when i found that we can have a film from it. Really worth the money!

This was my first time ever taking a helicopter trip or tour of any kind. So I was a tad nervous in doing it. But I said to hell with it I am going to do it. And I am sooooo glad that I did. The pictures from high above Honolulu was so worth the money and time I spent being a part of this like once in a life time adventure! Julie my helicopter pilot with Blue Hawaiian was a great professional and very friendly and pointed out all the highlights of our 50 minute tour. Blue Hawaiian was the best and for an extra $25 dollars at the end of your tour you can purchase a DVD of your flight with camera's in and out the helicopter. I had a blast and look at my pictures daily from my helicopter tour. I totally recommend this company and tour for memories of a lifetime! Can't go wrong with Blue Hawaiian at all!!!

The best trip I have ever had! Wonderfull views! Very nice pilot discribe all thenplaces, 45 minutest trip around the islands allow to see all of the most important places. Paradise!!!

I loved the helicopter ride, something I've always wanted to do! I paid the extra $25 for preferred seating, I wouldn't do that again since every seat is a window seat, that was deceiving:( The pilot did a great job explaining what we were seeing, ect. Overall it was great, I would do it again, minus the preferred seating.

It was the first time in a helicopter ride and let me tell you guys it was the BEST experience EVer in my life. From the quality of the staff to the helicopter pilot was Great. I'm very happy I choose Blue Hawaiian, its a must do if you are visiting Oahu.

Booked this as a wedding gift my my daughter and new son-in-law. They had a wonderful time (original date cancelled due to rain), however re-booked for a different day without difficulty. Their only complaint was a language barrier. It was very difficult to understand the pilot-very strong accent.

Did the Oahu Circle Tour and LOVED it. The pilot was awesome and informative as well as the staff. Thanks Guys!

From beginning to end, which came too soon, was a delightful ride. Our pilot Julie, made it very informative, very interesting and a delight to be with. She made us feel at ease and wanting us to come back again to do another helicopter tour on some of the other islands, especially the big island.

We both had a wonderful experience, thanks in part to Julie and the staff of Blue Hawaiian. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who really wants to see any of the islands. It's something that we will never forget.

Professional Staff! Incredible views over the north shore & country side that you simply cannot get on ground level. This was my first time in a helicopter...totally recommend for anyone.

I had never taken a helicopter ride before and I am glad that I chose Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. This was the best tour that I took on my vacation. This is definitely a MUST for all visitors to Oahu.

was skeptical at first b/c i'd never been on a chopper before. it was a smooth ride with an experienced pilot. i was able to actually be over a rainbow...somewhere over the rainbow, way up high! would do it again. highly recommend it. you only live once.

My Wife and I had a great time. We saw the whole Island of Oahu.

The northshore and waterfall was very good. You get the best views from the sky. The pilot (Josh) narrated very good and was funny. I would highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.

We took our trip on 1-15-2011 and it was incredible. What a chance to see the island like never before. I believe we took 200 pictures. You have to go for a hour or you may feel you got cheated on your time, because it goes by really fast.

Everyone has to do this. I couldn't imagine going to Hawaii and not getting a tour of the beautiful island. We also did the Ranch landing which brought us down this this beautiful valley where they filmed lost, godzilla, and jurassic park. I for sure recommend the landing it was so beautiful :) The operation is a family run business and they are all so friendly and the pilot was very informative and quite funny. He told us all about the island and made sure every side of the helicopter got a chance to see each sight. It is somethign you should do right at the beginning of the trip to get familiar with the island. It is worth the money!!! I booked it as a surprise for my finance and he couldn't stop talking about it :) I recommend surprising your travel partner with the tour, it was incredible. If you don't book this every time you see a helicopter flying around the isalnd you will regret not doing this so just do it :) Best part of the trip.

Makani Kai has one of the best reputations for safety in the islands. Knowing that, the experience of flying over the island of Oahu was quite enjoyable and relaxing. The pilot and ground crew are efficient and courteous. Easy to find if you drive yourself with available free parking!

My group 8 people took on the ride and 8 came back stating this was by far the best thing they had experienced and all 8 said they would go back again and Highly suggest anyone wanting to see from the sky down what is happening need to take the 60 minute ride as our group did. The tour was amazing! Over Hawaii locations on a prefect Hawaii day... what more can you ask for!? The tour guide was entertaining and well knowledge. But the fact that we had to share the tour with 10-12 year old boys kind of killed the romantic part of the tour. It's a GREAT experience! Although staying in Waikiki and driving to the North Shore was kind of a hassel and took one hour... the helicopter tour made up for part of it. I would recommend to first timers to the island.
