What a flight!!! Doors-off made the views feel like they were in 4k, was definitely worth it 100%

I felt amazing. It became my best memory. The price is a bit high, but I have nothing to say about the sound, scenery, etc. Definitely, please try the doorless first class! I just wish there had been guidance in Japanese.

In Hawaii, there are no bus stops due to the landscape, so if you're not used to traveling by bus, I think taking a taxi is the safest option. Regular taxis are very expensive, so I recommend using Uber. Just enter the address, and you're good to go!

I made a few wrong turns, but since Uber has fixed pricing, the fare doesn't increase even if the time or distance exceeds the estimate! Maybe it's Hawaiian time, but they handled everything smoothly even with a slight delay. Thank you to the staff.

Since I wanted to propose in a helicopter, I secretly consulted with the staff while my partner went to the restroom. You can manage even with limited English! There are a good number of proposals happening, and the staff are professionals, so I think they can understand even with just a few words. Before boarding, we quickly discussed with the pilot and staff, saying, "I'll say this here, and this will be the signal!"

I definitely recommend going without a door instead of with one! I had requested a doorless option in advance, but they also confirm it on the day. There are seatbelts, so you can feel secure!

ハワイは景観面からバス停が存在していないとか、バス移動が不慣れな方はこちらへのアクセスはタクシーが無難かと思います。
正規のタクシーはとても高いため、Uberタクシーをおすすめします。
住所を打ち込むだけでOkay!
道を何回か間違われましたが、(Uberタクシーは金額が決まっているため時間や距離の超過でも増額されません！)ハワイアンタイムなのか、多少遅れても問題なく手続きしてくださいました。

折角ならとプロポーズはヘリコプターで上空でと、、サプライズ！と決めていたためパートナーがお手洗いに行った隙にスタッフの方にこっそり相談。
英語力がなくとも多少話せればイケます！一定数プロポーズされる方やあちらもプロフェッショナルですので手慣れており、単語でも伝わると思います。
乗る前にパイロット、スタッフの方と"ここでこう言うからこれが合図だから！"
そんな打ち合わせをさくっと交わし、いざ。

ドア有りよりもドア無しが断然おすすめです！事前にドアなしを申し込みしておりましたが、当日現地でも確認されます。シートベルトがあるためしっかり安心！

I have experienced helicopter tours in Japan, but this was my first time on a doorless helicopter in Hawaii. On the day of the flight, there were clouds and wind, and once we took off, it was quite bumpy 😨 I wondered if I would tell the pilot that I was a bit worried, but I guess that's just how it is in Hawaii. Despite the slight turbulence, the pilot remained completely unfazed, calmly explaining the spots we were flying over (I couldn't understand anything since I don't speak English, though! (laughs)).

That said, the view of Hawaii from above was amazing. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it! Seeing Diamond Head from the sky was incredible! However, I read in previous reviews that they used to lend out phone cases for free, but now it's $5. Also, during the flight, they took dozens of photos from almost the same angle... I bought them as a keepsake. So, I give it four stars (laughs). But the experience is definitely worth it!

日本でもヘリ遊覧はしたことがありますが、ハワイでのドア無しヘリは初体験。
当日は雲と風もあり、飛んでみたらかなりの揺れ😨大丈夫かなぁ〜…と途中でパイロットに言おうかと思いましたが、ハワイではいつもの事なんですね。多少の揺れでもパイロットは微動だにせず、淡々と操縦しながらスポットの説明をしていました（英語が分からないので何言ってるかさっぱり分かりませんでしたが（笑））
とは言え、上空からのハワイの景色は最高でした。少し高めですが、それなりの価値はあると思いますよ！ダイヤモンドヘッドを上空からなんて♪
でも、前の口コミでは携帯ケースを無料で貸してくれたとなっていましたが、今は有料で5$でした。あと、フライト時に写真をバチバチ撮られてほぼ同じアングルが数十枚…記念なので買いましたが。なので星4つ（笑）
でも、体験の価値はありますよ！

Everything was smooth and professional. One of the highlights of our Oahu trip.

This tour was absolutely unforgettable. Flying doors-off around Oahu gave us unbeatable views!! The pilot was also so professional, friendly, and shared great information throughout the flight.

What an amazing experience. You will not regret doing this activity. Jeff was our pilot and he came with a lot of experience under his belt. He had so much knowledge about Oahu and his narrating was great. I would definitely do this again 100%.

This was so awesome and our pilot was so knowledgeable about the whole area, she even circled around the water a couple of times when we spotted a whale in the water, she was also in the navy at one time and had a lot of knowledge about Pearl Harbor. I highly recommend this flight, it is for 1 hour and you see a lot.

I made the reservation based on the recommendation of Mr. Tamura from Bon Voyage Kobe, and thanks to the prior briefing, the sightseeing went smoothly. The local staff's response was a bit lacking as the acceptance situation changed multiple times before we started, but Mr. Tamura from Bon Voyage Kobe coordinated everything, so I was able to start with peace of mind. The helicopter tour without doors was amazing!

We had a wonderful flight. Exceeded our expectations. One down side was the poor quality video. We notified the company and they very considerately refunded our money! Highly recommend Rainbow Helicopters.

After arriving at the airport, I took a helicopter. It's just a short taxi ride from the airport. I had a more enjoyable time than I expected. I want everyone to experience this tour to see the stunning views of Hawaii, rather than just riding a helicopter in Japan.

空港到着後にヘリコプター乗りました。空港からタクシーですぐです。期待以上に楽しい時間を過ごせました。日本でヘリコプターに乗るより、ハワイの絶景を見るこのツアーを一度皆さんに体験して欲しいです。

Jay was an excellent host and guide. He shared so many interesting things about the aircraft, Hawaii, and the area we were flying over. Jay also has a keen eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, I got to see turtles, and monk seals! I’m really glad I signed up for this experience.

Super save and enjoyable flight! Saw two whales breaching! Highly recommend.

Top pilot (Julien), doors off, beautiful day perfect for flying and many highlights included two whales with young, a huge pod of dolphins. stingrays and turtles. Julien kept us well (but not 'over' informed. To fly over some of Oahu's hot spots gave us another dimension altogether. We were captivated from start to finish.

Doors off makes it feel like your flying! Was a great tour and worth the higher pricing.

We were huge fans of the show, so this was a dream to ride the exact model chopper!

It was a wonderful experience to view Oahu from the sky. I had signed up for a Japanese-speaking pilot, but I was informed that they had retired, so I requested an English-speaking pilot. However, it was a bit disappointing that I couldn't fully understand the detailed explanations. I was on board with a family that had small children, and a little girl was startled by the sound of the helicopter and cried, so it's important to be cautious with small children.

空からオアフ島を眺められた事は素晴らしい体験でした。　日本語パイロットを申し込んだのですが退職されたそうで英語パイロットにお願いしたのですがやはり細かいとろまで説明が理解出来なかった事は少し残念でした。小さな子供連れの家族と同乗でしたが小さな女の子がヘリコプターの音にびっくりして泣きじゃくっていたので小さなお子様連れは注意が必要ですね。

We liked the time frame we chose and getting to see the gorgeous waterfalls!

I was anxious until I got on, but once I flew, it was refreshing!
Even though the aircraft is small, it flies steadily.
The speed is slow enough to enjoy the scenery, and 30 minutes goes by in no time.
However, it's scary when I'm the one piloting; the aircraft responds to even the slightest movement of the control stick.

速度もゆっくりで景色を楽しむことができ、３０分はあっという間です。
でも自分が操縦する時だけはコワいですね、操縦桿の少しの動きに機体が反応します。

I had always wanted to experience a helicopter tour, and I finally had the opportunity to board one this time.

The meeting point was at Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in the Honolulu Airport area. I took an Uber from Waikiki, and since the address is registered, I arrived smoothly. The Uber fare fluctuates, but it was about $30-35.

After arriving, I checked in at the counter. Large luggage is not allowed inside, so I stored my bags in lockers or the office and waited with just my smartphone and sunglasses until departure.

Once all the guests in the same time slot gathered, we watched a safety video for about 10 minutes before departure. The safety video not only covered important safety points but also included exciting visuals that captivated my attention. It was entirely in English, but there were Japanese subtitles, so I could grasp the important points clearly.

Fortunately, my flight was piloted by a Japanese pilot named KOJI. Before departure, he asked in Japanese, "Do you have any questions?" which made me feel more at ease.

After watching the video, once we fastened our seatbelts, it was finally time to board the helicopter. Stepping out of the office, we were on the runway of Honolulu Airport! It was thrilling to walk on a runway that is usually off-limits. I could view international flights from a different perspective.

Once on the helicopter, we did a microphone test, and off we went. KOJI mixed English and Japanese in his explanations, so I felt zero anxiety and was able to enjoy the flight. The sensation of floating was incredible, unlike anything I experienced on a plane. We took off from Honolulu Airport with movie music playing in the background.

The first thing visible from the sky was the Ala Moana and Waikiki area. It was a strange experience to look down at the area where I had just stayed and my favorite Ala Moana Beach Park. The ocean around Waikiki was breathtaking! I was constantly amazed by the varying shades of blue in the water.

The helicopter flew over Waikiki and passed above Diamond Head. After that, we reached the popular sandbar, which truly looked stunning, appearing as a bright blue patch in the ocean, just like in the photos.

Before I knew it, the background music had changed to Hawaiian music, and we continued to enjoy the view over Kualoa Ranch and the lush Ko'olau Mountains. I was thrilled when we approached "Saycrad Fall," which can only be seen from a helicopter.

The helicopter kept moving, and we arrived near the North Shore. As I enjoyed the peaceful scenery of sprawling farms and windmills, I spotted the Dole Plantation below. The popular maze is hard to see from above, but viewing it from the sky gave me a better understanding of its layout.

The final part of the course was Pearl Harbor. I could see ships docked, the serious atmosphere, and the battleship Missouri from above. It was striking to realize how Pearl Harbor served as a military base. I was reminded that Hawaii was the starting point of the Pacific War, and I imagined the views seen by Japanese and American pilots. I experienced an unexpected "learning" during the helicopter tour over Pearl Harbor.

KOJI's explanations were clear and lively, and the 50-minute course flew by. While it’s not a budget-friendly tour, I can confidently say it offers an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend the helicopter tour as a once-in-a-lifetime emotional experience!

一度は体験してみたかったヘリ遊覧飛行。機会をいただき、この度、搭乗させていただきました。

集合場所はホノルル空港エリアのBlue Hawaiian Helicopter社です。私はワイキキからUberで向かいましたが、住所登録もされているのでスムーズに到着できました。
Uberの料金はときにより変動していますが、およそ30-35ドル程度でした。

到着後はチェックインカウンターで手続きです。大きな手荷物は持って入れないので、ロッカーや事務所に預かってもらい、スマホやサングラスだけを手元に出発まで待機します。

同時間帯のお客さんが全員揃ったら出発前に10分ほどの安全ビデオを見ます。安全ビデオは、安全に関する点だけでなくワクワクするような映像も散りばめられていて、つい見入ってしまうものでした。
全編英語ですが、日本語の字幕もついているので、大事なポイントはしっかり把握することが可能です。

ラッキーなことに、私のフライトは日本人パイロットのKOJIさんが担当くださいました。
出発前にも日本語で「わからないことはありますか？」など聞いていただけ、より安心感が強まります。

ビデオ視聴後、安全ベルトを装着したら、いよいよヘリコプターへ搭乗です。
事務所を出るとそこはホノルル空港の滑走路！普段は歩けない滑走路の上を歩く機会、テンションが上がります。
国際線の飛行機もいつもと違う視点で眺めることができました。

ヘリコプターに乗ったら機内用のマイクテストをし、いざ出発です。
KOJIさんが英語、日本語を混ぜて説明してくれるので、フライト開始前も不安ゼロで楽しめました。飛行機とは違う浮遊感がたまらないですね。映画音楽をBGMに聞きながら、ホノルル空港を颯爽と飛び立ちます。

上空から1番に見えてくるのはアラモアナ・ワイキキエリア。
さっきまで私が滞在していた地域や、大好きなアラモアナ・ビーチパークを上から眺めるのは不思議な体験でした。
ワイキキの海は絶景ですね！
海の青色がところどころ違っていることもわかり、感動しっぱなしでした。

ヘリコプターはワイキキを超え、ダイヤモンドヘッド上空を通過します。
その先はツアーでも大人気のサンドバー。本当に海のその部分だけ青白く浮かび上がっている情景は、写真の通りで見事でした。

気づけばBGMはハワイアンミュージックに変わっており、続いてクアロア・ランチの上空、コオラウ山脈の緑を眺めていきます。
ヘリコプターでしか見ることができない「Saycrad Fall」に近づいたときは嬉しかったです。

ヘリコプターはどんどん進み、ノースショア付近にたどり着きます。
のどかな農場が広がる光景、風車が並ぶ景色を気持ちよく眺めていると、眼下にドール・プランテーションが。
人気の迷路は、上空から見ないと全貌が見えづらいですね。上から見ることでよく様子がわかりました。

コースの最後は真珠湾です。実際に船が停泊している様子や、ものものしい雰囲気、戦艦ミズーリ等も上から見ることができました。
いかに真珠湾が軍用拠点だったか。自然にできた入り組んだ港湾の特異さにも納得させられました。
ハワイが太平洋戦争の発端だったことを改めて思い出し、日本軍、米軍のパイロットが見た景色を想像します。
思いがけないヘリツアーでの「学び」を、真珠湾上空で感じることができました。

KOJIさんの解説はわかりやすく軽快で、50分コースはあっという間でした。
決してお手頃なツアーではないですが、絶対に外さない感動体験ができる！と確信できるツアーです。
一生に一度の感動体験として、ヘリコプターツアーお勧めです！

awesome experience. wish would have made this top of list after arrival in honolulu. would have found so many more places visit and see at ground level!

My first helicopter experience.
When I made the reservation, I chose the doorless option without hesitation. It was amazing to enjoy the unobstructed views of Hawaii's stunning scenery.
One thing to note is that, depending on the weather, it can be very cold. Make sure to dress warmly.

予約時、迷わずドアなしを選択。やっぱり遮るものがない、ハワイの絶景を楽しめました。
一つ言うと、天気もありますが非常寒いです。防寒はしっかりして行ってください。

This was my tenth helicopter tour in Honolulu, including the experience of piloting. I brought along a friend who was trying it for the first time.

The wind was strong that day, and the eastern side of Oahu in winter was particularly rough. A bit disappointing!

I think winter is a good time for a helicopter tour around Honolulu.

Another disappointment was the prohibition on taking photos in front of the helicopter before departure, and even after returning. It seems they want to sell photos taken by the helicopter company.

In the past (with a different helicopter company), I was able to take pictures in front of the helicopter with my own camera, and the pilot was happy to pose for the camera. I understand it's a business, but I wish they would allow us to take at least this kind of photo.

ホノルルのヘリ遊覧は体験操縦も含めて10数回目。今回、ヘリ初体験の友を案内で同乗。
この日は風強く、冬のオアフの東側はなお荒れる。ちょい残念！
冬場はホノルル遊覧程度が良いように思う。
もう一つ、更に残念だったのは出発前のヘリの前での撮影禁止。帰着した後も。ヘリ会社撮影の写真を売りたいためか。
今までは(ヘリ会社は他社)ヘリの前で自前のカメラで、パイロットもすすんでカメラに収まってくれた。
商売だから仕方ないがこの程度の写真は撮らせて欲しい。

Neither my spouse nor I speak English, but the staff used a translation app to explain everything to us. Please prepare your passport as identification! A copy is also acceptable. They provide a drop-proof strap that can be fixed to your smartphone or camera.

Other helicopter tours had weight restrictions that prevented us from participating, but this tour has a limit based on the total weight of all participants, so even those who are a bit chubby can join. The 60-minute tour over Oahu offers great views and is thrilling without windows! On the way there, the left side seats have a good view of Honolulu's cityscape, while the right side overlooks the ocean.

We also flew over areas in the mountains where cars can't go, so I'm really glad we participated! The lack of hotel pick-up was a downside, but now with Uber, it's easy to use it for round trips.

I've participated in various activities, and if you're hesitating, I really recommend joining this one; it was fantastic!

夫婦共々英語出来ませんが、スタッフさんは翻訳アプリなど使って説明してくれました。
身分証明書はパスポート用意してね！コピーでもOK。
スマホやカメラに落下防止の本体固定式のストラップ付けてくれます。
他のヘリコプターツアーは体重制限があって参加できませんでしたが、このツアーは参加者全員の体重での制限なので、少々ポッチャリさんでも参加できます。
オアフ島60分のツアーで景色もよく窓なしでスリル満点です！
行きは左側の席がホノルルの街並みが良く見えます。右側は海になります。
車が行けない山の上所も飛ぶので、本当に参加してよかった！

ホテルまでの送迎がないのがネックでしたが、今はUVERもあるので、往復UVER利用すると楽です。

色々アクティビティ参加しましたが、悩んでる方いたら本当に良かったので参加してみて下さい。
