It´s quite a unique and different experience. I don´t know if all of these scooters are like this but mine didn´t move much. You could turn but not move forward so that was disappointing.

I saw mostly sardines, a couple of pretty fish and two small sea turtles at the bottom (but you had to be looking hard for them). The fun thing is that they have a food thing attached to each scooter so you squeeze it and the fish (mostly sardines) come right in front of your face.

The crew was really helpful and nice. They gave me some sea sickness oil but I think they should offer it to everyone since four of us threw up.

Overall it was an OK experience but I wouldn´t do it again like I´ve done snorkeling multiple times.

We participated as a couple. We were moved to see beautiful fish. A sea turtle swam from afar, and the staff operated the sea bob to take us close to it. We were thrilled to see the gracefully swimming sea turtle at a distance where we could almost reach it. It's an activity that anyone can enjoy without any swimming skills, so you can relax and have fun. There were staff members who understood Japanese, and everyone kindly supported us with attention to detail. I highly recommend it!

夫婦で参加しました。綺麗な魚たちを見れて感動しました。遠くからウミガメが泳いで来て、サポートの方がシーボブを操作し近くまで連れて行って下さりました。優雅に泳ぐウミガメを手が届いてしまう距離で見ることができて、大興奮でした。全く泳げなくても問題は一切なく、安心して楽しめるアクティビティです。スタッフの方も、日本語が分かる方がいらっしゃり、皆さま細かいところまで親切にサポートしてくださいました。とってもおすすめです！

Jumping into the sea when transferring from the boat to the scooter took a bit of courage, but once I was in the helmet, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. I was a little disappointed that the fish that came to the bait were mostly plain-looking horse mackerel, but I was able to take many wonderful photos, which made for great memories.

Each diver is assigned to you individually. At first, I was anxious, but once I tried it, it was very easy! When I shook the bait attached to the bike, a lot of fish came close. It was my first time touching fish up close like that.

I was also able to see two turtles! I was very satisfied with the ample snorkeling time during the free periods!

I went in February, and it was freezing cold when I got out of the water due to the wind! But once you're in the sea, it's fine! I recommend bringing a few larger towels.

ダイバーが1人ずつ付いてくれます。最初は不安でしたが、やってみるととても簡単！バイクについている餌をふると魚が沢山寄ってきます。魚をあんなに間近で触れたのは初めてでした。

亀も2匹見れることができました！空き時間にはたっぷりシュノーケリングができて大満足です！

2月に行ったのですが、海から上がったときは風で激寒でした！でも海に入ってしまえば大丈夫！大きめのタオルを何枚か持っていくことをお勧めします。

We have a 5-year-old, so we couldn't go diving, which is why we had to take a submarine to see the underwater world. The boat that takes you to the submarine was cool, and my son, who loves vehicles, was very satisfied to see the moment the submarine surfaced and when the boat docked next to it! After that, we boarded the submarine and began our dive. The visibility wasn't as clear as advertised, but we saw four sea turtles around a sunken ship, which was amazing! The captain was kind enough to go back and forth a few times to help us see the turtles. For the Japanese commentary, you need to set the headphone channel to 1. I was a bit flustered at first because it was in Chinese. Also, as mentioned in reviews, it was cold, so a light windbreaker is necessary. The crew was very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

うちは５歳がいてダイビングなどできないので潜水艦に乗らないと海の中は見れませんでした。潜水艦まで行く船もかっこいいし、潜水艦が浮上する瞬間やボートが横付けする瞬間など見れて乗り物大好き息子は大満足！その後潜水艦に乗りいざ潜水開始。なかなか透明度は広告くらいありませんでしたが沈没船にホヌが4匹もいて最高でした！ホヌを見るためにキャプテンが何回か行き来してくれて優しかったです。日本語解説は、ヘッドホンのチャンネルを1に設定が必要です。最初中国語であせりました。また、寒いという口コミ通り寒かったので薄いシャカシャカなど必要です。クルーの対応も親切でした。素敵な体験ありがとうございました。

The ocean floor was much darker than I had imagined, giving me a strong impression of blue! However, I could still distinguish objects, and the transparent blue sea was indeed very mysterious. I had a great experience seeing sharks resting under a sunken airplane and sea turtles taking a break!

想像していたよりも海の底は光が届かないので、とにかく青！青！という印象でした。
ですが物の判別はできますし、透き通った青色をした海はやはりとても神秘的でした。
沈んだ飛行機の下でサメが寝ていたり、ウミガメが休憩していたり…とても楽しい体験をさせてもらいました！

I saw many fish among the wreckage of ships and airplanes. It was impressive to even see a sea turtle. It was a shame that the visibility was slightly poor due to the rain the day before, but I was able to relax and enjoy my time.

船や飛行機の残骸からたくさんの魚が見えました。ウミガメまで見えたのは圧巻でした。
前日の雨で若干透明度が悪かったのは残念だったけど、ゆったり時間を過ごせました。

There were four couples, including us Japanese.
We made the reservation on-site, and everything went smoothly.
There was one staff member who spoke Japanese, but they left to join a sandbar tour partway through, so we received the explanation about the Sea Bob as soon as we arrived at the boat dock.
All explanations on the boat were in English, including how to equalize pressure. It was manageable, but it did make me quite anxious at times.
During our tour, there were five Sea Bobs available. We dove in pairs, but since many participants were in pairs, only one person could prepare at a time, which meant those waiting had to stay on the boat for a bit.
My husband went first, but the other Sea Bob didn't arrive, so I ended up waiting on the boat for over 10 minutes. To make matters worse, they tried to guide the next person, so I hurriedly said, "I haven't gone yet!" and they quickly assisted me, but in the end, I experienced the Sea Bob for less than 10 minutes, including preparation time.
Still, we saw plenty of turtles, the ocean was beautiful, and we encountered a pod of dolphins, so overall, I was satisfied.
While waiting for our turn on the Sea Bob, we could go snorkeling. All explanations for that were also in English. I hope to convey in this review that snorkeling is also available.

As mentioned before, motion sickness medication is absolutely essential!
The stationary boat sways more than you can imagine.

Photos are expensive, but I think they are worth it.
We received a set of our photos and pictures of the turtles, about 20 in total.
It was a unique experience, and if I hadn't had to wait on the boat, it would have been perfect.

日本人は私達夫婦を含め4組でした。
予約は現地で行いましたが何も問題なく催行されました。
日本語を話せるスタッフが1名いましたが、途中からサンドバー付きのツアーについて行ってしまうのでシーボブの説明は船の乗り場に到着後すぐに説明してもらいます。
船上では全て英語の説明でした。耳抜きの仕方なども全て英語。それでも何とかなりますが結構不安になったりします。
私たちのツアーの時はシーボブは5台でした。2人1組で潜りますが(ペアで参加してる方が多いため)準備は1人ずつしか出来ず一緒に潜れないため後から乗る方は船上で少し待ちます。
私は主人が先に行きましたがもう1台のシーボブが来ず結局船上で10分以上待たされました。おまけに次の方を案内しようとされたので慌てて「まだ乗ってない！」と伝えたらすぐに案内してもらえましたが結局シーボブを体験出来たのは準備も含め10分もないくらいでした。
それでもホヌはたくさん見れたし海は綺麗だしイルカの群れにも遭遇出来たのでトータルでは満足です。
シーボブに乗ってない待機中はシュノーケリング出来ます。それの説明も全て英語です。この口コミでシュノーケリングも出来る事を伝えられたらと思います。

既出ですが酔い止めは本当に本当に必須です！
止まってる船上は想像以上に揺れます。

写真は高いですが買う価値はあるかなぁ…と思います。
自分達の写真とホヌの写真がセットでした。20枚くらいです。
中々出来ない体験でしたので船上で待たされた事がなければ最高です。

Our group of 9 all agree this was the best excursion we had in Oahu. The staff took great care of us, and the scooters were a lot of fun. We saw so many turtles!

I made a reservation the night before the experience, and everything went smoothly, including the hotel pick-up. On the day of the activity, we were blessed with good weather and calm waves, allowing us to have a great time. We enjoyed stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling, and we were able to see sea turtles up close, which was very satisfying. The half-day schedule was also convenient, especially since there are so many things I want to do in Hawaii. It was nice that it wasn't too physically demanding compared to diving, so I could enjoy it without getting too tired. The staff were friendly and approachable, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and I had a fulfilling time. I would definitely like to participate again if I have the chance.

現地で体験前日の夜に予約を取りましたが、ホテルの送迎含め問題なく参加して帰ってくることができました。
当日は、天候にも恵まれ波も穏やかで思いきり遊べました。サップやシュノーケリング、そしてウミガメも近くで観られ、大満足でした。半日というスケジュールも、ハワイでやりたい事が沢山あるなかで気軽に参加しやすいとも思います。体力的にも、ダイビングと違いそこまで疲れずに楽しめた事がよかったです。スタッフの方も気軽に話しかけてくれて、雰囲気もよく充実した時間が過ごせました。また、機会があったらぜひ参加したいです。

The sea was beautiful and the breeze felt wonderful! During the underwater scooter experience, the instructor was right there with us, so there was no confusion, and we got to see fish up close as well as a sea turtle!
The instructor for the experience didn't speak Japanese, but it wasn't a problem at all. They seemed to understand simple Japanese, so I felt no anxiety.
However, the boat rocked quite a bit, so I think motion sickness medication is a must. I tend to get seasick easily, and I forgot to take my medication, which turned out to be quite a situation, haha. My husband, who usually doesn't get seasick, was also affected quite a bit, so that's the only downside!

海がきれいでとても風が気持ちいかったです！水中スクーターの最中はインストラクターさんが付きっきりなので迷うこともないですし、まじかでお魚も見れてウミガメも見れました！！
体験のインストラクターさんは日本語が通じないけれど、特に問題ありませんでした。簡単な日本語なら解るらしく、不安はなかったです。
ただ、船が結構揺れるので酔い止めは必須だと思います。私は元々酔いやすいのに、酔い止め忘れてえらいことになりました笑
旦那さんも船酔いあんまりしない人なのに結構やられてたので、難点はそこだけですね！！

I got seasick on the boat before boarding the submarine. In the morning, the waves were high and it was very rocky. I think it's essential for those who get seasick to take motion sickness medication. However, I was glad that I was able to see turtles.

潜水艦に乗るまでの船で船酔いしました。
朝は波が高くとても揺れてました。
船酔いする人は酔い止め必須かなとおもいます。
ですが、カメも見ることができ良かったとはおもいます。

I did this tour with my friend who is not from the island. It was her first time on a submarine and she was amazed by how beautiful it was underwater. The boat ride to the submarine was very smooth and because the weather was so nice we decided to sit on the top deck. The view from the deck was amazing. Just as we departed we were able to see a sea turtle swimming next to our boat. The submarine ride itself wasn't so bad we were able to see turtles, sharks, and a lot of fish. It was a bit cold so I do recommend bringing a jacket since you will be underwater for quite some time. My friend and I really enjoyed the tour and we would love to go back and try it again!

It was great. Saw lots of fish and a sea turtle. Was hoping to see a Whale, but they were gone on the day we went.

We participated as a couple. The experience lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, but time flowed very slowly, and we were able to see sea turtles and fish up close. We were very satisfied!! During the waiting time, we could have gone snorkeling, but unfortunately, I got seasick and couldn't do it. However, since there are two types of activities available, I highly recommend it!! The timing was from morning to early afternoon, so we were able to enjoy shopping back in Waikiki as well! My husband and I were looking for activities that could be done in half a day, so this tour was perfect for our wishes. I would love to participate again.

15〜20分程度ですがとてもゆっくりとした時間が流れておりウミガメも魚もとても近くで見ることが出来ました。大満足です！！
待ち時間にはシュノーケリングも出来ましたが、
残念なことに私が船酔いしてしまいできなかったのですが2種類のアクティビティが出来るのでとてもオススメです！！
時間は朝から昼過ぎだったので、ワイキキに戻って買い物も楽しめました！私達夫婦も半日で出来るアクティビティを探していたのでこのツアーは私たちの希望にピッタリでした♩

Since I was with a small child, they were already happy just to see lots of little fish, but they were even more delighted to see several sea turtles! ✨

I experienced underwater scooters, snorkeling, and paddle boating, and the sea was beautiful with stunning views. It was a valuable experience to see many fish and sea turtles up close. The staff were also friendly and approachable, and there were staff members who spoke Japanese, which made it easy to enjoy the activities. However, since I participated in January, the wind was a bit chilly, so I think it's a good idea to bring a light jacket or a thick towel depending on the season.

水中スクーター＆シュノーケリング＆パドルボートを体験しましたが、海が綺麗で景色もとても良かったです。たくさんの魚やウミガメを間近で見ることができて貴重な体験となりました。またスタッフの方も親切できさくな方が多く日本語の通じるスタッフもいるので安心して楽しむことができました。
ただ私が参加したのが1月ということもあり、風が少し冷たく肌寒く感じたので時期によっては軽く上に羽織るものや厚手のタオルを持って行くといいと思います。

When the submarine dives, it becomes stable and comfortable. There were many fish around the coral reefs and sunken ships, which was enjoyable. Above all, I was thrilled when a sea turtle swam right in front of me—there were several of them! I think this is an experience you can't have often, so I recommend trying it at least once.

魚しょうや沈没船の周りには、多くの魚がいて楽しかったです。なんと言っても突然目の前でホヌが泳いできたのは、感激しました。それも、何匹も。なかなか経験できないと思うので一度体験しましょう。

I had a wonderful experience! The waters in Hawaii aren't very deep, so I was able to enjoy activities without fear. Compared to Japan, the sea was quite blue and beautiful.

What I liked the most was stand-up paddleboarding. I rode on a board floating in the sea, but it was unstable, making it very difficult just to stand. However, the sense of achievement when I managed to stand was incredible, and it felt refreshing. When I participated, the wind was blowing strongly, making it hard to go in the direction I wanted, but it was fun to paddle while riding the waves. The trainers were kind and taught us well, so even beginners can enjoy it!

During this tour, you can chat and laugh with other participants while having fun. Riding a small boat to cut through the wind until we reached the open sea felt great. It's an activity that can be challenging without being overwhelming, tailored to individuals, so I highly recommend it!

素晴らしい経験ができました！ハワイの海はそんなに深くないので、怖くなくアクティビティできました。また、日本と比較してみるとかなり青い海で綺麗でした。
私が気にいったのは、スタンドアップパドルボードです。海に浮かばせたボードに乗るのですが、不安定なので立つだけでも非常に難しかったです。その分立てたときの達成感が凄く、爽快な気分になりました。私が参加したときは風が強く吹いていたので思う方向に進むのは難しかったですが、波に乗ってパドルを漕げたら楽しいです。トレーナーの方々が優しく教えてくれるので、下手な人でも楽しめます！
このツアーでは、他の参加者ともお話ししながら笑いながら遊べます。広い海に出るまで小型のボートに乗って風を切るのも気持ちいいです。個人に合わせて無理なくチャレンジできるアクティビティなのでおすすめです！

"We got no troubles, life is the bubbles, under the sea!" It was inevitable that "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid would be playing through my head on this tour. I've always been fascinated by ocean life and would love to someday learn how to scuba dive...but until then, this submarine tour is the perfect--and only--way to explore the world under the sea.
The shuttle out to the dive site not only provided great views of Diamond Head and Waikiki, but also gave us the chance to see exactly where we'd be descending and what part of the bay we'd be exploring.
I've actually done this tour twice and enjoyed it just as much the second time. On both tours we saw sea turtles, star fish, and tons of fish in various shapes, sizes, and colors. During the second tour we also got the chance to see two scuba divers exploring one of the sunken ships.
The crew were all very friendly and knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting facts and details about what we were seeing.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing a completely different world, so unlike what we see every day on land. Take Sabastian's advice and go "under the sea!"

We will travel by boat until we board the submarine. The weather was clear, and I truly felt the essence of Hawaii with the stunning scenery. The boat had restrooms and air conditioning.
We will transfer from the boat to the submarine on the water.
Inside the submarine, there were two rows of benches in the center, facing the windows from the bow to the stern. It didn't feel cramped.
However, the view from the crucial windows was disappointing. I could hardly see anything. The visibility was about 15 meters, and there were only a few moments when fish were visible. I did see a sunken fighter jet and a shipwreck on the seabed.
Including waiting and travel time, you should plan for about three hours. Additionally, it costs over 10,000 yen per person.
It might be better to consider other activities.

潜水艦に乗るまで、船で移動します。晴天で、大変素晴らしい光景に　ハワイらしさを実感しました。船には、トイレも有り、冷房も有りました。
海上で　船から潜水艦に乗りかえます。
潜水艦の内部は、中央にベンチが二列　船首から船尾まで　背中合わせに　窓に向かって設置してありました。窮屈感は無かったです。
肝心な窓からの景色は、期待外れでした。　ほとんど　何も見えません。視界は15m程度でその中に魚がいる時間は、ほんのわずかでした。海底に沈む戦闘機や沈没船は見れました。
待ち時間や移動時間を含めると3時間は見ておく必要が有ります。　また、一人1万円を超えます。　
他のアクティビティを検討した方が良いかもしれません。

I participated in a submarine tour for the first time this time. Exploring the seabed in the submarine was beautiful and fun. It was a great tour where I even got to see sea turtles.

今回初めての潜水艦ツアーに参加させてもらいました。
潜水艦での海底探索は、景色が綺麗で楽しかったです。

Disappointed to not see any whales, dolphins, pretty marine fish. Captain should skip the corny puns. Beautiful boat ride but not as advertised.

I went with a second grader and a preschooler. It was a wonderful tour. A woman who spoke Japanese kindly explained various things to us. On the boat to the submarine, we saw one turtle and three whales very close by. The way the submarine appeared was very dramatic. After diving, we encountered sharks, turtles swimming side by side, and pufferfish, and on the way back, we clearly saw the tail of a whale right next to our boat.

小学2年生と年中さんと行きました。とても素晴らしいツアーでした。日本語を話せる女の人がとても親切に色々説明もしてくれました。
潜水艇に乗るまでの船で、すぐ近くに亀1匹、鯨3頭いました。潜水艇の登場の仕方もとてもドラマチックでした。沈んでからサメや並んで泳ぐ亀、河豚などにも出会え、また帰りの船のすぐ横で、鯨の尻尾がはっきり見えました。

We participated in an event with my husband during the New Year. We were picked up near the hotel and set sail from a marina about 30 minutes away by car. An interpreter was also on board the boat. We anchored in just the right spot and took turns diving in. Wearing yellow helmet-like capsules, we rode sea scooters into the underwater world, which was like a dream. By chance, we encountered a sea turtle, and it was truly moving! There was also a photographer who captured our moments. By the time we returned to the boat, a double rainbow appeared, which was even more touching! I want to go again!

丁度良い場所に停泊し、順番に潜り込ました
黄色いヘルメットのようなカプセルを被り、seaスクーターに乗り海中へ
夢のような世界が広がっていました。
偶然にも海亀にも遭遇できて、感動しました！
カメラマンさんもおり、その姿を撮影して頂けます。
船に戻る頃には、ダブルレインボーが出ていて、更に感動しました！

We had a wonderful time with this scuba scooter adventure. The crew was awesome and really looked after us. I loved every minute of it!

We went out to sea to board a submarine, but on the day of the trip, the waves were high, and my wife ended up with severe seasickness. According to her, "I didn't have any opportunity to see the fish at all..." Personally, I found it to be a simple yet enjoyable experience of boarding a submarine, and the fish were beautiful. I was very happy to see a turtle swimming.

潜水艦に乗るために、沖合へ出るのですが、当日は波が高かったせいか、妻がひどい船酔いになってしまいました。本人曰く、「全く魚などを見る余裕はなかった・・・」との事でした。
個人的には潜水艦の乗艦を簡易的に体験できるし、魚もきれいでした。泳いでいる亀を見ることが出来たのはとても嬉しかったです。

I got seasick on the boat to the submarine. I'm prone to motion sickness, so I prepared by bringing a bag for vomiting, but I ended up not needing it. There were plenty of bags for vomiting inside the submarine, but it hardly swayed, so I didn't feel nauseous. I saw three turtles and two sharks. It's all about luck, really.

潜水艦まで行く船で酔いました。元々酔いやすいので覚悟はして嘔吐用の袋をもって行きましたが使用せずにすみました。
潜水艦の中に嘔吐用の袋が沢山ありましたが、ほとんど揺れないので気持ち悪くなりませんでした。

I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience being on a submarine. It was great to see sea turtles. There weren't any surprising events, but you can enjoy a relaxed time.

潜水艦に乗る機会はあまりないので経験できてよかったです。ウミガメが見れたので良かったです。ほかはびっくりするようなイベントは有りませんがゆったりとした時間を味あえます。

On the day of the trip, the weather was nice and the waves were calm, so neither the ferry nor the submarine rocked. The underwater visibility in Hawaii was excellent, allowing us to see far into the distance. By chance, we were able to see three sea turtles, which was great. It might have been coincidental, but during the early hours, there were many Japanese tourists, so the main guide conducted the tour primarily in Japanese. I appreciated that the staff discreetly explained to the few non-Japanese passengers before boarding that the main guide would be in Japanese.

　当日は天気が良く波が静かで、渡し船も潜水艇も揺れませんでした。ハワイの海底は、透明度が非常によく遠くまで見ることが出来ました。偶然にも、海亀を３匹見ることが出来よかったです。たまたまかもしれませんが、早い時間帯は日本人が多いのでガイドもメインは日本語でした。スタッフが日本人以外の少数派に、乗船前にメインのガイドは日本語でやることをこっそり説明しており好感できます。
