As we boarded the boat from the port and transferred to the real submarine offshore, I felt a mix of half worry and excitement about seeing the underwater world of Hawaii. It was a time when there were hardly any Japanese people around, but the Japanese explanations through the headphones helped me understand well, and I could clearly see the corals and fish on the ocean floor. My parents booked a Japanese tour for their first trip to Hawaii at 10 AM. When the time came and the shuttle didn't arrive, I called and was put on hold for 4 minutes for confirmation, only to be told that it was unavailable and they wanted to change it to 11 AM. Reluctantly, we changed it to 11 AM, but with the explanation in English, my parents dozed off inside the submarine, not understanding the language. This special trip to Hawaii to honor my parents was ruined. I don't think I will use this service again.

I didn't have high expectations after reading the reviews, but it was as I anticipated. The tour itself was interesting, but considering the price, even half the cost would still feel a bit high for what it offered. You can see some fish, but there seemed to be fewer than at an aquarium. There weren't many varieties either. I was fortunate to see a sea turtle in the distance. Be careful as I almost got seasick. If you're someone who can't do snorkeling or diving and doesn't mind the price, it might be enjoyable.

This is a must do adventure, and well worth the price. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised at the 1-to-1 ratio of divers to BOBs in the water. They really make sure everyone is comfortable in the BOBs and are doing okay throughout the dive. The 1 hour of free time is basically during the time others are in the BOBs. They provide snorkeling equipment if you want to hop in the water during that time. We had a gray and windy day, so it was quite cool on the boat during the off time. So if your weather is not the best, consider bringing a windbreaker.

It was a course without Japanese guidance (although it seems there is Japanese guidance available through headphones, which I didn't use), but I understand enough English, so it wasn't a problem. Everyone else was foreign, and I was a bit fed up with the number of Japanese people in downtown Honolulu, so it was nice. There was a sense of universality when the Canadian child next to me asked, "Where's Nemo?" Seeing the submarine surface near the boat was exciting. I enjoyed seeing beautiful fish, rays, and turtles (it would have been even better if sharks had appeared), and it was my first experience diving into the ocean from a submarine, which was interesting. It was a smaller submarine with small windows, but I think it was sufficient.

日本語案内ではない時間のコースでしたが（ヘッドフォンで日本語案内はあるようだが使用せず）そこそこ英語がわかるのでまあ問題なし。
自分達以外は外国人で、ホノルルの街中が日本人だらけで少しウンザリしていたのでちょと良かったです。

きれいな魚やエイやカメがみられて楽しかったですし（サメでも出て来たらもっと良かったけど）、潜水艦で海に潜るという体験が初めてのことで面白かったです。

My husband and I did this excursion together. He loves scuba diving, so he enjoyed it, but not as much as he does diving. I, on the other hand, get claustrophobic diving, so I LOVED this because I didn’t have to have anything touching my face/a mouthpiece. While under water, we saw tons of fish and sea turtles. In addition to scuba scootering, we got to snorkeling while we waited our turn for the scooters, so it was like two excursions in one. The staff were all great too!

This experience was one I have no regrets booking. The divers and guides were wonderful. You always felt safe and were never left alone because you have your own personal diver with you at all times. You will travel to the submarine by a larger ferry from the pier and board the submarine that has surfaced. The journey to the submarine feels like a cruise with a view of Diamond Head. The boat may sway a bit, so those prone to seasickness should be cautious.

I was really looking forward to the underwater walk on this trip, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience just as I had hoped.
