It wasn't a sunny day, so the water was quite cold when we got in, but we were able to enjoy a different kind of sea than Waikiki and even encountered sea turtles. The lunch on the boat was also quite delicious. After that, my father and high school students seemed to have a great time snorkeling, taking pictures of corals and sea turtles with their cameras. My mother and elementary school students enjoyed themselves with the rental floaties and paddle boats during that time. The boat didn't feel too rocky, but there were about 5 or 6 people who got seasick, so motion sickness medication might be necessary. The staff were all cheerful and fun, and they took great pictures with our cameras.

However... about two months ago, I made a reservation for the best day after checking the tides, but suddenly, less than a month before, I was told it was canceled due to a movie shoot. When I tried to book on another low tide day, I was told it was already full. I thought about canceling, but since it was the event I was looking forward to the most, I participated with faint hopes, even though it was on a king tide day. But as expected... the tide level was 160 cm, which meant the water was up to about half my face. Those who weren't good swimmers seemed to struggle. I knew we wouldn't be able to see the beautiful sandbar, but the result was too disappointing. 晴天ではなかったので、海に入るとかなり冷たかったですが、ワイキキとは違う海を楽しむことができ、海亀とも出会えました。船上のランチも、なかなか美味しかったです。その後、父と高校生はシュノーケリングで、サンゴや海亀を持参したカメラで撮ったりと満喫したようです。母と小学生はその間貸し出しの浮き輪、パドルボートで楽しめました。船はそんなに揺れる感じではなかったですが、酔ってダウンしている方が5〜6人はいらっしゃったので、酔い止めは必要かも…。スタッフの方はみなさん明るく楽しく、という感じで、持参のカメラでもしっかり撮って頂きました。

ただ…二ヶ月ほど前に、潮を調べて一番良い日を予約したにもかかわらず、一ヶ月をきってから突然、映画撮影のためと言われキャンセルになり、他の潮の低い日に申し込んでも、もういっぱいですと言われ…。キャンセルしようかとも思ったのですが、一番楽しみにしていたイベントだったため、キングタイドの日でしたが、淡い期待を持って参加しました。しかしやはり…案の定…潮位は160cmの私で顔半分くらいまで…。泳ぎが得意でない人は、みなさん困っていらっしゃいました。サンドバーのあの綺麗な砂が見られないことは分かってはいたけれど、残念すぎる結果でした。5万を超える出費なのに、簡単にキャンセルされて納得いかず、次回リベンジしたいような、したくないような…

Since it was our first time snorkeling, I had about half expectations, but we were well taken care of, and my son was able to see many fish that he loves, which made us very satisfied! I considered going to Hanauma Bay on our own, but given that my younger child is still small and the concerns about being at the beach for a long time and the parking lot filling up quickly, we decided to join this tour. I wondered if I could keep up with this vibe, thinking that "Dolphin Middle School" was not just a concept but something they were serious about. However, later I realized that this morning's instruction was all meticulously planned.

The staff were very kind, and it was clear that they truly loved dolphins and marine life, showing respect for them. Although I was sleepy in the morning, I received various guidance on the bus. I learned that dolphins, like humans, can have good days and bad days, sometimes wanting to be left alone, and sometimes approaching us. It might seem obvious when you think about it, but I was able to understand things I hadn't properly considered before.

If I had fallen asleep, I think I would have struggled once on the boat. I also learned for the first time not to splash my fins or make noise. I realized that the reason I hadn't encountered turtles despite swimming many times was due to my own actions. I thought I should become someone who doesn't disturb marine life and can coexist with them.

It seems that the dolphin was in an incredibly good mood that day! I am truly grateful! At first, I thought, "What does it mean to call a dolphin a teacher?" But from the moment I met the dolphin, I quietly shouted in my heart, "Dolphin-sensei!" The dolphin was amazing. The staff were amazing too. I believe that coming to Hawaii and creating this memory is truly the best. This tour is possible because the staff love dolphins. Thank you very much!

The guide really pumped up the excitement, so I definitely want to go again!

Last year, I had to just observe because I wasn't feeling well, so this year was my long-awaited participation! It was just amazing... Not only did I get to have a class with Dolphin Sensei, but I also swam for a long time with Professor Turtle, and I really think it changed my life. During Dolphin Sensei's class, the snorkeling was a bit fragmented, and I thought it might be physically challenging, but I was able to swim as much as I wanted during the subsequent snorkeling, and it was so much fun! I thought I might go two or three times during my stay, haha.

Oh, and the boat was upgraded, which was great! My mother was happy that it was easier for her to jump in. Our belongings didn't get wet, and it was clean, so we could enjoy ourselves without any worries.

We reserved shuttle service. We were waiting at the pick up point from 10min before the pickup time. We couldn't find the shuttle. We were waiting and I called to the office 10min later of pick up time. They said that they yelled out my name, but I didn't hear. They just left. Why not calling to me?
So, I took a taxi to get there with my money. BOB tour was canceld, because of lack of people. So, we joined to another group.
Totally lack of responsibility. I don't trust that they yelled out my name at the pickup point.

I signed up for this tour because I love dolphins.

We stopped the boat in an area where dolphins are often seen, and when I entered the water and followed the instructor, there were dolphins right below my feet!!

It felt more like seeing dolphins in the same ocean (the same space) from a distance rather than swimming with them. For someone like me who wanted to swim together, it was a bit unsatisfying.

However, with short fins and simple life jackets provided, I think this tour can be enjoyed even by those who are anxious about swimming or lack physical strength.

On the boat, the co-captain was very engaging, which made the experience enjoyable. It was also clear that the other staff members were trying to entertain the guests, which was great.

一緒に泳ぎたかった私にとってはちょっと物足りなかったです。

ただ、フィンも短く簡易なライフジャケットがあるので泳ぎに不安がある人や体力に自信がない方でも十分に楽しめるツアーかと思います。

船上では副船長にたくさんかまって頂いて楽しむことが出来ました。他のスタッフさんもお客さんを楽しませようというのが伝わってきたのでとても良かったです。

I enjoyed turtle watching, beach volleyball, and other activities that I don't usually get to do. The weather was a bit disappointing, but I had a great time playing and felt like a child again. The sound of the experienced old man's guitar was also fantastic!

I was able to see wild dolphins swimming in a pod for the first time. I also got to see sea turtles up close in the water... it was moving. The hamburger for lunch was delicious too!

The group I joined consisted entirely of Japanese customers. Perhaps because of that, a Japanese female crew member was there from the pickup, which made me feel at ease. I participated at the end of June, and since it was quite windy, I followed the advice of the Japanese female crew member and borrowed a wetsuit over my rash guard. As a result, the water temperature was comfortable, and I didn't feel too cold while on the boat.

By the way, it might be good to have a chamois towel (which you can use to wipe off most of the moisture and can be reused if you wring it out towards the sea) and a dry beach towel (to use as much as possible without getting wet, draping it over your back) with you. The air conditioning on the return bus is strong too...

ランチのハンバーガーも美味しかったです！

私が参加したグループは日本人のお客さんばかりでした。それもあってか？日本人女性のクルーがピックアップの時点からいてくださっていて、安心でした。
参加したのは6月末ですが、風が強かったこともあり、日本人女性クルーのアドバイスに従ってラッシュガードの上からさらにウェットスーツを借りて着ました。結果、海の水温もそれで心地よく、船上に上がっている時もあまり寒くありませんでした。
ちなみに、セームタオル一本（これで主な水分を拭き取る。海に向かって絞れればまた使えるので便利）と、乾いたビーチタオル（なるべく最後まで濡らさず背中にかけたりして使う）があると良いかもしれません。
帰りのバスも、冷房が強いですので・・・。

We did See Turtles!

As in the title we definitely saw turtles on the trip. I was however disappointed with an $89 each cost associated. We were picked up and driven to the marina which is at Waikiki and could have walked there quicker. We took the early 8 am tour which departed around 8:30 and minutes later we were in the water and swimming with the turtles which was great. Outside of the turtles there wasn't much more to see. After less than an hour of snorkeling I was told to get back on the boat to depart. Ten minutes later we were exiting the boat. There was no time to enjoy the "open bar" really at all, and it was only 9 am. For the money we should have at least got some extra time on the boat cruising around, maybe a loop back toward Pearl or something. I'm not saying don't do it but we saw just as many turtles off a rented stand up board on Waikiki for $25/hr. That said, the crew was great and really did try to get people going and excited.

In the sea with the best transparency, I was able to encounter a pod of nearly 150 dolphins. The dolphins didn't just swim past us quickly; they circled around us multiple times.

They swam so close that I could clearly see their eyes, rather than just appearing small in the distance. On the contrary, I was filled with surprise and emotion, wondering if it was really okay for them to come so close.

The staff also provided strict instructions for safety, but at the same time, they kept the atmosphere lively on the boat, allowing us to have a truly enjoyable time.

Lets you get up close with the fishes and turtles

Some were apprehensive about diving under the helmet to get into it but after that it's amazing as you get to see fishes and even turtles up close. You also get a fish food sponge to lure scads of fishes to you - just be careful to keep your fingers out of the way, or you may get a nibble! The safety divers guide your scooter and show you where to go (and some take video for sale later). The only possible discomfort may be if you don't equalize the pressure as you dive or ascend - this can be done several ways (such as swallowing or yawning - I couldn't get the "pinch nose and blow" method to work). Otherwise it's a blast. You also get to hang around a bit - on the boat or swimming or snorkeling - while the other groups are on the scooters.

I had a great time playing volleyball at the sandbar and seeing sea turtles! The snorkeling was a bit different from what I imagined, maybe because it rained the day before?! The staff member was very energetic and friendly, and she took a lot of wonderful photos for us, which was great! The hamburger we had on the boat was very delicious! There are various tours available, but I'm glad I chose this one!!

Absolutely wonderful experience!
We were picked up right on time, and it was a short drive to the harbour from our hotel in Waikiki. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional and the sail boat was spacious and clean. The snorkeling gear was good quality and generally fit well, although my mask leaked a little.
We saw our first turtle not long after getting in the water, and saw quite a few more thereafter. They came very close to us as they surfaced to breath, making for incredible photo opportunities.
This was an amazing experience and anyone visiting the island and considering this activity will not be disappointed!

I tried snorkeling for the first time at a sandbar known as the "Angel Sea." I'm not a great swimmer, and I felt nervous when the staff said, "Just think of it as training!" But I put on the snorkel and set off. The corals and fish I saw for the first time were so beautiful... and just as I was getting used to it, it was over. I had a bit of anxiety, but wearing a life jacket helped me float, and the staff was watching over us, so I'm glad I participated.

So, I have never been sea sick before in my entire life, but snorkeling in the swell did me in. The crew were SO FANTASTIC. They helped me out of the water, checked in over and over, and were a delight. No their fault I yakked, and the did everything they reasonably could to make the trip good in spite of it. The sailing part was awesome-- it was windy and a little rough and so we really raced along and got bounced around in the waves. Very exciting. I love boats!
