On the day of the cruise, the wind was strong, and I was wondering if we would set sail, but we departed safely. There was a photo opportunity before boarding, which cost $20. I purchased it as a keepsake. We went quite far out, and with the wind and strong waves, seawater was coming into the boat, but it was the best cruising experience. The view of Waikiki from the ocean and the sunset were amazing, and it turned into a photo-taking event. However, I had gone to the restroom before boarding, and after disembarking, I had to dash to the restroom (laughs).

I have also participated in a dinner cruise, but I didn't really need the meal; I joined to see the sunset! There are similar boats, so I ended up lining up at a different location. This one departs from in front of the Sheraton Hotel beach. Feeling the breeze and enjoying drinks, I was able to make friends with the people around me and see the most beautiful sunset. I highly recommend it!

I had visited Hawaii several times, but I had never tried a cruise. This time, I participated in this cruise for the first time at the request of my family.

We cruised east off the coast of Waikiki, and it was unexpectedly fun. There were hardly any Japanese groups; most of the participants were family groups from the mainland United States, and they were lively and excited from the start. However, it wasn't uncomfortable; it was heartwarming to see the children having a great time splashing in the waves at the front of the boat. By the time we turned back for the second half, the kids had calmed down, and we were able to enjoy the sunset leisurely.

First of all, if you absolutely don't want to get wet, this cruise is not for you. You will definitely get wet up to your knees when boarding. Depending on the waves, you might even get wet up to your lower body. It's better to be prepared for that. On the other hand, as long as you are sitting normally on the boat, you won't get wet.

Also, as others have mentioned, the meeting point is indeed hard to find. I was staying on the east side, so I walked along the coast, but it was quite a walk. I recommend checking the meeting point thoroughly in advance.

I was with my 4-year-old child, and they were very satisfied, so I believe people of all ages can enjoy this. The evening tour is also a plus. As for drinks, as the tour name suggests, we started with "Mai Tai" (Mai Tai is served from the Mai Tai server), but some people were gulping down champagne. However, since the boat was rocking, it was hard to tell what we were getting tipsy from. The selection of soft drinks was not very extensive.

Overall, it was a satisfying tour in terms of cost.

日本人グループはほとんどいなくて、大半がアメリカ本土からの家族グループだったのですが、最初からテンションマックスで大騒ぎ。かといって不快なわけでなく、船の前方で飛び散る波に大はしゃぎしている様は微笑ましいものでした。その子供たちも、折返してからの後半からはおとなしくなり、今度はサンセットをまったり楽しむことができました。

まず、絶対に濡れたくない人は参加できません。
乗船時には確実に膝あたりまでは濡れます。波の具合によっては、下半身まで濡れてしまいます。ある程度は覚悟して参加するほうがいいでしょう。
逆に船上では、普通に座っている限り、濡れることはありません。

あと、皆さんも言っていますが、集合場所が確かにわかりにくいです。
私は宿泊が東サイドだったので、海岸沿いを進んだのですが、結構歩かされます。
事前に集合ポイントを十分にチェックされることをお勧めします。

4歳の子供と一緒だったのですが、子供も大満足でしたので、間違いなく老若男女楽しめると思います。夕刻からのツアーというのもgood。
ドリンクはツアー名通り、最初は「マイタイ」（マイタイサーバーからマイタイが出てきます）ですが、何人かはシャンパンをガブガブやっていました。ただ、揺れるので、何に酔っているのかわからなくなります。ソフトドリンクはあまり充実していませんでした。

コスト的に満足したツアーでした。

I have traveled to Hawaii many times, but this time, due to my retirement and our 35th wedding anniversary, I signed up for a sunset dinner cruise through VELTRA for the first time and participated.

It might just be me, but when I boarded the ship, other participants were already having dinner, and when I was shown to my seat, there was no explanation at all. I had no idea what to do, and my dissatisfaction started piling up from the beginning of dinner. Even on the yacht, there's a chance of getting wet. A cool guy on the yacht serves drinks, including Mai Tais and soft drinks. Everyone sits together and enjoys the cruise.

I think it depends on the day, but it was quite rocky that day. Those prone to seasickness should be cautious; my friend got seasick. The kids were with us, but they didn't get sick and had a great time.

I participated in a sunset cruise for the first time. The waves were quite high and it was rocky, but I was fine since I took motion sickness medication. There was only one other group of Japanese people besides us. We had soft drinks, but everyone else was drinking Mai Tais. It gets a bit chilly, so a jacket is a must. This year, I went to Hawaii to participate in the Hapalua Marathon. Since I had a busy schedule of 3 nights and 5 days, I arrived without a plan. When the schedule is set from the beginning, I tend to get greedy and end up moving around too much, which prevents me from enjoying the relaxed pace that Hawaii offers. It was great that I could make arrangements on-site the day before! On the day of the event, we were the only Japanese passengers, which made it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I cannot recommend this sunset cruise enough! My friends and I had an amazing time. The crew and captain were so friendly and welcoming and created such a fun atmosphere on the boat. The views were unbelievably beautiful, we had perfect weather and a gorgeous sunset. The price is more than fair considering the length of time on the water (1.5 hours) and the fact that the drinks are included. I would absolutely do it again!

We loved our time on the snorkeling and dinner cruise excursion. Well worth the price. Our captain gave great instruction and safety procedures. He also took us up snd close to a whale which gave us quite a show within 25 yards or so. The time by the shore snorkeling was impressive. Lots of fish.
The dinner was delicious with plenty of variety of drinks both spirited and not. I enjoyed the time to enjoy the sunset. Beautiful. There are two restrooms where you can change. Two shower hoses to rinse off after you snorkel. Staff was great. Underwater photographer was along for optional photo package you can purchase.

The sunset cruise on the yacht was absolutely beautiful!

However, the yacht does sway quite a bit, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are prone to seasickness. I saw reviews saying it wasn't too rocky, so I thought, "Maybe I'll be okay?" and took some motion sickness medication before participating, but for me, the swaying was significant, and I ended up feeling very seasick. However, I was the only one who got seasick, so I think those who don't worry too much about it can enjoy themselves thoroughly!!!

ただ、わりとヨットが揺れるので船酔いしがちな方にはおすすめしません。あまり揺れないというレビューを見て「これなら大丈夫かな？」と思い酔い止めを飲んで参加したんですが、私にとっては揺れが大きく結局ひどい船酔いになってしましました。でも、船酔いになっていたのは私だけだったので、そんなに心配のない方は十分楽しめると思います!!!

About 80% of the guests were from English-speaking countries (there were 6 Japanese people), and the captain and bartender on board were also American. All announcements were in English, but since the explanations for drinks and life jackets were simple, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Personally, I preferred this place over one filled with only Asians. I made friends with other American passengers and had a great time. By the way, drinks were all-you-can-drink, and there was sparkling wine available. My recommendation is the Mai Tai!

I know it's just the luck of the draw and bad timing but 5 or 6 people got sick on our trip due to high waves. Maybe cancelling the trip would have been best because after all that, the provided meal was not at all appetizing. Yes we saw a couple green sea turtles, but it would have been much, much better without the fear of human projectile.

The space was spacious and very comfortable. We were guided to a designated table on the first floor for a buffet dinner before departure. After the meal, we relaxed in the lounge on the second floor while enjoying a leisurely sunset cruise. Off the coast of Waikiki, we enjoyed taking photos on the deck. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was delicious. The fireworks were beautiful, but what left the biggest impression on me was when a whale jumped right next to the boat. I enjoyed both the dinner cruise and whale watching.

I was a bit worried about taking my 83-year-old sister-in-law on the cruise, but it was really enjoyable. The night view of Waikiki, the fireworks, and the sailing were all very pleasant. While some other catamarans weren't sailing, the captain was great, and I was truly satisfied. When boarding, your feet can get wet, so it might be helpful to bring a towel and find a way to warm your feet. My sister-in-law put her feet in a plastic bag.

ワイキキの夜景、花火、セーリングとても気持ちよかったです。他のカタマランはセーリングをしていない船もありましたがキャプテンが良い方で本当に大満足です。乗るときに足がぬれますので、タオル、足を温める工夫が必要かも。義姉はビニール袋に足を入れておりました。
