On this day, the visibility underwater was poor, and the dolphins didn't come close at all.

I could only see them from a distance, and no matter how much I swam, they just kept swimming away.

In the end, the guide made some excuses...

I understand it's nature and animals we're dealing with, but I felt a bit disappointed.

At least we got to ride the slide and kayak at the end, so my son's mood improved a little.

この日は水中の透明度も悪く、イルカも全然近くに寄ってきませんでした。

別のツアーの方や遠くに見えた程度で、
泳いでも、泳いでも逃げていくばかり、

最後にはガイドさんの言い訳が・・・

自然・動物相手なので仕方がないと思いますが少しがっかりな感じでした。

最後に滑り台とカヤックに乗せて頂いたので、息子の機嫌もすこしましになったかな。

The crew was low key and so very friendly. This was one of the highlights of our trip. My 8 year old surprisingly did great snorkeling and we al had a super time! Thank you so much!

Thanks to the energetic guide and photographer, I had a great time. I was really glad to see dolphins and sea turtles up close. The sea is really cold at this time of year, so the wetsuit rental costs $10 per person, but it's definitely worth it. In fact, almost everyone rented one. Even with the wetsuit on, I felt cold when I got out of the water.

I gave up on marine sports because it was too cold to feel like going into the water.

It seems the grill for cooking the hamburger patties was broken, so I couldn't eat the hamburgers cooked by the captain, but I was able to enjoy delicious hamburgers from a hamburger shop on the bus ride back.

Honestly, I felt that the final hula dance was unnecessary.

イルカとウミガメを目の前で見ることができてよかったと思います。
この時期の海は本当に寒いのでウェットスーツは1人10ドルかかりますが、絶対借りた方が良いです。
実際にほぼ全員がレンタルしていました。
ウェットスーツを着ていても海から上がると寒かったくらいです。

マリンスポーツは、寒くて海に入る気がおきず、諦めました。

ハンバーガーの肉を焼くグリルが故障してしまったらしく、船長が焼くハンバーガーを食べることはできませんでしたが、帰りのバスでハンバーガーショップの美味しいハンバーガーをいただくことができました。

ただ正直最期のフラダンスはいらなかったかなぁという感じです。

The weather was nice and the waves were calm, so I attempted three dives and was able to see dolphins twice! The crew's desire for all participants to see the dolphins was wonderful! I want to go again!

We had an amazing time on our sunset cruise!! The crew was very accommodating and we appreciated the thoughtfulness to take care of our family as we are traveling with our 91 year old father. He had a wonderful time as well!!! Definitely will do it again! Loved the sunset!!

I participated with half expectations, thinking that I might not definitely see dolphins, but I was moved to encounter so many dolphins. I was able to see both dolphins and turtles, and I thoroughly enjoyed the clear sea. I highly recommend this tour.

必ずイルカに会えるというものではないと期待半分で参加しましたが、たくさんのイルカたちに出会えて感動しました。イルカもカメも見られ、透明な海を満喫できました。このツアーはおすすめです。

I had heard from the guide that it might take some time to see wildlife, but we spotted dolphins right after departing from the port. We got ready for snorkeling and entered the water, where we were able to see dolphins swimming quite close to us. Additionally, at the snorkeling point, we also saw sea turtles swimming relatively nearby. It was a lucky tour, and I was very satisfied.

野生のものを見に行くので、すぐに見れるか分からないをガイドさんから聞いていたが、港から出港してすぐイルカを発見。シュノーケルの準備して海へ入って、結構近くをイルカが泳ぐのを見ることが出来た。
また、シュノーケリングポイントでは、ウミガメが割と近くで泳いでる姿も見れた。
ラッキーなツアーで満足。

We participated as a couple.
While I thought we would see wild dolphins right away, they are wild dolphins after all!
It wasn't that easy (laughs).
We didn't see any on the first or second attempts, but on the third try, we finally saw them!
By the third time, I was able to put on my mask and fins quickly, and I jumped in without hesitation, thanks to the perfect training from the sports club☆
We also got really close to a sea turtle, and time flew by as we challenged ourselves with SPU.
The photographer was quite lively from early in the morning, but he took a lot of great photos!
I would like to participate again. Thank you!

夫婦で参加しました。
野生のイルカとは思いながらも、すぐに会えると思っていました。
ですが、相手は野生のイルカ先生！
そう簡単ではありませんでした（笑）
1回目、2回目は会えず、3度目の正直で会えました！
3度目は、マスクもフィンもすぐに付けれて、飛込みも躊躇なくでき、体育会系の教えで完璧でした☆
ウミガメにもとっても近くで会えて、SPUにも挑戦できあっという間に時間が過ぎました。
カメラマンの方は、朝早くからかなり賑やかでしたが、たくさん良い写真を撮ってくれました！
また参加したいと思います。ありがとうございました！

There is no better way to experience Hawaii, than out on its beautiful, indescribable blue waters. After doing a bit of research, I knew I wanted to go snorkeling on the west side of the island. I also snorkeled at Hanauma Bay, but there is zero comparison. Two completely different experiences. Sailing out of the harbor, on the beautiful catamaran, with the wind in your hair, onto the sparkling water, a stunning, panoramic view of the majestic mountains behind you, with three fabulous hours of yet unknown adventures ahead of you---well, what more can you ask for? Our time on this tour was great. It went by entirely too fast. But every minute was wonderful. We saw more dolphins than we could count. Had great visibility while snorkeling. Saw many different types of fish and marine life. All under the skillful supervision of the awesome crew. Also, the boat was not overly crowded, which was terrific. Plenty of room to move about and to have a good seat. The food and drinks were perfect. I just wish it was twice as long. And honestly, next time we go back, I will probably go more than once. It's simply the best way to experience the magic of Hawaii. PS. I booked through Hawaii Activities.com and I believe the company name is also Hawaii Nautical. No matter which you book it, it's completely worth it!

First encounter with wild dolphins with my 5-year-old son.
I was worried since it was also his first experience with snorkeling, but he quickly got used to it and had a lot of fun.
The staff were very friendly and enjoyable, and by the end, he was completely a fan of the staff member (laughs).
Even after returning to Japan, he was super excited while sharing his impressions with his grandmother.

シュノーケルも初体験だったので心配しましたが、すぐに慣れてとても楽しめました。
スタッフの方もとても気さくで楽しい方達で、終盤にはすっかりスタッフのお姉さんのファンに(笑)
日本に帰ってからも祖母へ感想を話しながら大興奮でした。

Shortly after departure, while everyone was offering prayers to the blue sea, dolphins began to swim nearby. When we hurriedly entered the water together, we could see the dolphins swimming!

During snorkeling, we were also able to see sea turtles and many fish.

Communication was perfectly fine in Japanese. There was even a morning call on the day, which was really kind. Above all, the crew members were truly friendly and cheerful. They ensured safety while we were in the water.

I'm in my mid-50s, but I can't swim, I'm scared of the ocean, and I was worried about seasickness. However, with the wetsuit rental and life jacket, I wasn't cold and didn't sink! I took motion sickness medication in advance, so I was fine on both the bus and the boat.

The sparkling blue sea, hula dancing, ukulele performances, and the burgers we ate on the boat were all delicious, packed with fun.

I no longer fear the sea or the boat! Thank you so much to all the staff. I would love to participate again when I go to Hawaii. This is a tour I want many people to join! Dolphin & You, which is gentle to the sea, marine life, and people, is the best!

出航間もなく、青い海にみんなでお祈りを捧げているうちに、イルカたちが近くを泳ぎはじめました。
みんなでちょっと急いで海に入ると、イルカたちが泳いでいるのが見えましたー(^^)

シュノーケリングではウミガメやたくさんの魚たちも見ることができました。

連絡はすべて日本語で大丈夫。
当日はモーニングコールもあり、本当に親切です。
なんといってもクルーの皆さんが本当にフレンドリーで、ニコニコ。そして海ではしっかり安全を確認してくれています。

私は50代半ばですが、泳げないし、海はこわいし、船酔いも心配でしたが、ウェットスーツレンタルにライフジャケットなので、寒くないし沈みません！ 酔い止めをあらかじめ飲んでおいたらバスも船も大丈夫でした。

キラキラの青い海、フラダンス、ウクレレ演奏、船の上で食べるバーガーも美味しくて、ぎゅぎゅっと楽しさが詰まっていました。

海も船もこわくなくなりました！
スタッフの皆様本当にありがとうございました。
またハワイに行ったら参加したいです。

I had never seen dolphins in Hawaii, so I decided to participate in this tour. We set off early in the morning, heading to the west coast of Oahu, a place I had never been before. The weather was cloudy, but the sea was beautiful.

During the three snorkeling sessions, we tried to find a pod of dolphins in the first and second sessions, and we encountered dolphins in the first session. I was moved to see a pod of dolphins with a baby. In the second session, my husband and I missed the chance to see dolphins because we were late to jump into the water from the boat.

The third session was a visit to a sea turtle habitat. Because we knew the right spots, we quickly encountered three sea turtles. I had seen turtles before in Hanauma Bay and on sandbar tours, but I had never met such large turtles as these. It was fun to swim while being rocked by the waves.

Due to certain circumstances, there was no lunch on the boat, but since the boat was quite rocky, it was a good decision to eat after returning to the port. I think it's better for those who are worried about seasickness to bring motion sickness medication.

Although it was a short time, it was a fun tour where we also challenged ourselves to stand-up paddleboarding on the sea. Additionally, having a Japanese guide accompany us from the shuttle bus to the sea provided a sense of security. If I have the opportunity, I would like to enroll in the manta ray university on the Big Island.

ハワイでイルカを見た事が無かったので参加しました。
早朝から出発し、向かったのは今まで行ったことが無かったオワフ島の西海岸。
天気は曇りでしたが、海は綺麗でした。

計３回のシュノーケリングのうち１回目と２回目はイルカの群れを探してトライしますが、１回目でイルカに遭遇。
赤ちゃん連れのイルカの群れを見れて感動しました。
２回目は船から海に飛び込む順番が遅かったので、私たち夫婦はイルカを見る事が出来ませんでした。

３回目はウミガメの家を見学です。
ポイントを把握されてるせいで直ぐに３匹のウミガメに遭遇。
今までハナウマ湾やサンドバー・ツアーでカメを見た事はありましたが、ここほど大きなカメに出会った事はありませんでした。
一緒に波に揺られながら泳げて楽しかったです。

諸事情で船上ランチはありませんでしたが、船の揺れが多かったので、港に戻ってから食べて正解でした。
船酔いが心配な方は酔い止め薬を持参した方が良いと思います。

短い時間でしたが、海上でのＳＵＰにもチャレンジしたり楽しいツアーでした。
また、日本人のガイドさんが送迎バスから海まで同行してるので安心感もありました。
機会があれば、ハワイ島のマンタ大学にも入学してみたいと思います。

It was a very memorable day. I was moved to swim in the large, beautiful ocean of Hawaii and encounter many dolphins and sea turtles. I would love to participate again if I come back to Hawaii.

とても記念になる1日になりました。ハワイの大きくて綺麗な海で泳げたこと、そして、たくさんのイルカやウミガメと出会えて感動しました。またハワイに来たら参加さしたいです。

I wanted to swim with wild dolphins, so I participated. On the day of the event, there was a bit of a typhoon influence, and the sea was murky, but I got to see many dolphins and a mother turtle with her baby, which was incredibly fun! The staff were also enjoyable and kind! Thank you very much!

野生のイルカと一緒に泳ぎたいと思い、参加しました。
当日は少し台風の影響もあり、海が濁っていましたが、沢山のイルカと亀の親子にも会えて最高に楽しいかったです！

After boarding, we quickly found dolphins and were able to swim with them. The dolphins swam around us several times without fear of humans, which was amazing. I was very satisfied to capture videos with an underwater camera.

After enjoying the dolphins, we went to another spot for snorkeling. The water there was murky, and we couldn't see many fish. There were a few fish around the coral, but they were few in number.

In addition to snorkeling, we could also play with inflatables, paddles, and kayaks, but for us, who were mainly focused on the dolphins, these were unnecessary. In fact, I wished we could have spent more time with the dolphins we found.

In conclusion, I thought that since Dolphin University is so active, perhaps activities other than dolphins are unnecessary. However, I was satisfied as we achieved our goal!

乗船後、イルカを探してすぐに見つかり、イルカと一緒に泳ぐことができました。イルカも人間を恐れて逃げるということ無く、私たちの周りを何度も泳いでました。水中カメラで動画も撮れてとても満足です。
イルカを堪能した後に別のポイントへ行きシュノーケルをしました。そちらは海水が濁っておりあまり魚もよく見えませんでした。珊瑚の周りにいくらか魚がいましたが少数でした。
シュノーケル以外にも、浮き輪やパドル、カヤックなどでも遊べましたが、イルカがメインの私たちには不要でした。むしろ、せっかく見つけたイルカともっと一緒にいられる時間が欲しかったです。
結論として、イルカ大学というアクティブなので、イルカ以外は不要なのでは？と思いましたが、目的は果たせたので満足です！

In the early morning, we headed to the port for pickup. The staff talked continuously on the bus, providing various announcements along the way.

At the port, we took care of our restroom needs, but there were few toilets, resulting in a long line for women. However, there are restrooms on the boat, so no worries there.

As soon as we boarded, we sang something like a Hawaiian song and offered plumeria to the sea. We were able to see quite a few dolphins close to the port, and we could even hear their voices, which was very satisfying.

I was also pleased to see many large turtles.

After coming back from the sea, snacks were provided, but it seemed a bit different from what was described. On the way back, many people were tired and sleeping, but we were woken up for a dance that was labeled as hula... it was just regular dancing, not hula at all. I was also surprised that due to a stove malfunction, a chain restaurant's burgers were served. I was like, "Huh? This?"

While I was very satisfied with the many encounters with turtles and dolphins, the rest was a bit lacking, so I rated it as average.

港でお手洗いを済ませますが、トイレが少ないので女性は長蛇の列です。
船の中にもあるのでご安心を。

ハワイ語の歌みたいなものを乗船してすぐに歌い、プルメリアを海にささげます。
イルカは港から近いところにいて、かなりの数を見ることができました。
話し声も聞こえたり大満足。

亀も大型のものが沢山観られて満足でした。

海から上がったらスナックが提供されますが、
ちょっと書いてあるものと違うような・・・。
帰りに結構が数の人が疲れて寝ていますが、途中起こされてフラと書かれていたダンスが・・・
普通に踊りです。フラではないですねぇ。
あとコンロの故障でチェーン店のバーガーが提供されたのには驚きました。
え？これ？という感じで・・・。

亀とイルカに沢山出会えたのは大満足ですが、
そのほかはちょっと・・・ということで平均的な感じにいたしました。

This was my fifth time on Oahu. I had previously avoided the typical Japanese-oriented optional tours because I dislike being forced to do things (laughs). However, I wanted to see dolphins in their natural habitat, so I decided to sign up.

The pickup was early in the morning, around 5 AM. I thought there were surprisingly few pickup locations, but I believe adding more stops would only waste time.

I was greeted by energetic staff and we headed to West Oahu, taking about an hour to reach the port of Nanakuli, which is the hometown of former sumo wrestler Konishiki. During the bus ride, the staff kept the energy up with lively conversation, and they also explained some important points along the way.

Once we arrived, we boarded the boat and headed to the dolphin viewing point, which was surprisingly close to the port. Before we got there, we chanted the Hawaiian song "E HO MAI" while offering plumeria flowers to the sea. The lyrics were provided, so it was no problem.

After that, we entered the water at the dolphin point, and it wasn't long before the dolphins appeared. The staff mentioned that it was rare to see so many dolphins swimming beneath us, jumping nearby, and communicating with their squeaks. We were able to see them multiple times!

After the dolphins, we moved to Makaha to observe the honu (sea turtles). That day, we were lucky enough to see seven large honu! After getting back on the boat, we headed home, and finally, snacks and drinks were provided. It’s better to eat breakfast before going, as the drinks offered were just bottled water and small juices, so if you need to stay hydrated, you might want to bring your own.

There was supposed to be hula as mentioned in the itinerary, but it was just a regular dance (laughs). I felt a bit surprised to be woken up for that while many people were tired and sleeping.

Normally, they serve burgers grilled on the boat, but due to a grill malfunction, we were given burgers from a well-known chain on the bus ride back. Honestly, I was a bit taken aback (laughs).

I was very satisfied with the number of dolphins and honu we saw, but I still dislike tours that force everyone to enjoy together, and even though there were unavoidable reasons for the food situation, it felt a bit lacking, so I rated it four stars. There were no issues with communication, as Japanese was spoken fluently.

Additionally, we received an eco bag for participating. It was quite useful in Hawaii, where you have to buy shopping bags, but I thought it was inconvenient that you have to go to the Dolphin University office in Waikiki to pick it up after the tour.

５回目のオアフ島。
今まで避けていたガッチリ日本人向けのオプショナルツアー。
理由は強制的に何かをさせられるから（笑）
苦手なんです。そういうのが。
でも自然のイルカを見てみたい。と思い立ち申し込みました。

ピックアップは早朝。５時台。
ピックアップ場所は案外少ないなと思いましたが、停車場を増やせば無駄に時間がかかるだけなので良いと思います。

元気なスタッフの方に出迎えられ、一時間程かけて西オアフ。
小錦の出身地ナナクリの港へ移動します。
バスの中では到着まで元気トーク。途中で注意事項の説明も行われます。

到着後船に乗り込みポイントまで行きますが、案外港から近いです。
到着前にハワイ語のオリ『E HO MAI』を唱えながらプルメリアの花を海に供えます。
歌詞は配られるので大丈夫です。

その後、イルカのポイントで海に入り、そんなにしないうちにイルカが登場。
スタッフの方も珍しいという程の沢山のイルカが私たちが浮いている下を泳いだり、近くで跳ねたり、ピーピーと会話をしています。
何度も見ることができました！

イルカの後はマカハ沖に移動してホヌ観察。
大型のホヌがその日は７頭も！これもラッキーだったみたいです。
船から上がったら帰路へ。その間にやっとバーとスナックとジュースが提供されますので、朝ごはんは食べて行くのがベターです。
ちなみに提供されるドリンクはペットボトルのお水と小さなジュースだけなので、水分を沢山取られる方が持参が必要かも。
途中、旅程表で書かれていたフラがありましたが・・・
普通にダンスです（笑）
疲れて寝ている人が多い中で起こされてこれ？という感じを受けました。

通常は船上で焼いたバーガーが提供されるようですが今回はコンロの故障のため、帰りのバスの中で某有名チェーンバーガーが提供されました。
正直、え？と思いました・・・（笑）

イルカとホヌは沢山観れたので大変満足ですが、
日本人向けのみんなで楽しみましょう！を強制するツアーがやはり苦手なのと
食の部分がやむ負えない理由があったにせよちょっと貧弱だったので違和感を感じ、星４つにしました。
日本語がバリバリ使えるので困ることはありません。

あと、参加したら頂けるエコバック。
買い物袋を購入しなくてはいけないハワイでは結構活用して便利でしたが、
ツアー参加後にワイキキのイルカ大学事務所へ行かないと頂けないのが不便だと思いました。

Seven years ago, I wanted to participate in the Dolphin University, but I gave up on joining the tour because I thought there was no guarantee of seeing them in the wild. However, I’m glad I took the plunge and signed up this time.

Saki-chan, Nana-chan, and all the staff worked very hard to ensure that everyone could encounter dolphins. Thank you very much. Thanks to them, I was able to see both dolphins and turtles. The dolphins were adorable, and I had a long time with the turtles, which was very healing.

The staff's constant energy also lifted my spirits and made it fun. Thank you so much. It became a wonderful memory.

7年前にイルカ大学に参加したいと思ったけど、相手は自然なので見れる保証が無いと思いツアー参加は諦めていました。
しかし、この度思い切って申し込みして良かったです。
参加した全員がイルカと遭遇出来る様に、さきちゃん、ななちゃん、スタッフの皆様はとても一生懸命でした。ありがとうございました。
お陰様でイルカも亀も見れました。
イルカも可愛かったし、亀との時間は長くとれてとても癒されました。
スタッフの皆様がずっと元気なのが、こちらもテンションがあがって楽しかったです。

The day after arriving in Hawaii, we participated in a tour. It was my 4-year-old daughter, my 6-year-old son, my mother in her 60s, my husband, and me, a group of five. We were picked up at 5:30 AM, but thanks to the time difference, we had no trouble joining.

Our tour consisted only of Japanese participants. I wondered if only Japanese people make reservations for this tour. On the bus ride there, the guide provided fun explanations about the tour and information about Waikiki, and before we knew it, we had arrived. My son and daughter caught up on some much-needed sleep on the bus before boarding the boat.

This was my first time in Hawaii in September, and I didn't expect it to be so hot, but the temperature was just right for swimming. However, if you're feeling uncertain, it might be a good idea to rent a wetsuit. By the way, my mother and my son and daughter rented one. You must wear a life jacket, which also increases buoyancy, so I recommend it for those who are not confident swimmers.

I was disappointed not to meet the dolphin teacher this time, but I was very satisfied to see many turtles and fish. The chance of not meeting the dolphin teacher is only about 10%, so it seems rare. However, since we didn't get to meet, the tour company offered us a nice perk: half off the photo fee or a free participation in the next dolphin school.

It was a conscientious tour, and I would love to participate again.

Thank you so much to all the tour guides. I thought it was a wonderful tour because they genuinely tried to entertain everyone, including couples, older guests, and small children. Thanks to them, the kids had a fantastic time. My son, who was initially reluctant, got used to the ocean and enjoyed himself. He especially loved paddle boarding with my husband.

ハワイ到着の次の日に参加しました。４才の娘、６才の息子、60代の母、旦那と私の５人で参加しました。早朝、５時半にピックアップでしたが時差ボケのため難なく参加出来ました。
私達は、日本人しかいないツアーでした。こちらは日本人しか予約しないのかな？と思います。行きのバスでは、ガイドの方がツアーの説明やワイキキの情報など楽しくお話しして頂きあっという間に到着しました。息子や娘は足りない睡眠をバスで少し補充して、船に乗りました。
９月のハワイは初めてでこんなに暑いとは思ってなかったのですが、海に入るのにちょうど良い温度でした。でも、もし不安な場合はウェットスーツを借りた方がいいかもしれないです。ちなみに母と息子や娘は借りました。ライフジャケットを必ず着けますが、浮力も増すので泳ぎに自信がない方にお勧めです。
今回は、イルカ先生に会えず残念でしたが亀先輩や魚たちにたくさん会えて大満足です。
イルカ先生に会えない確率はわずか10%で珍しいようです。でも会えなかったのでツアー側から、写真代半額や次回イルカ中学に参加無料など嬉しい特典をつけてくれました。
良心的なツアーでまた参加したいです。

ツアーガイドの皆さん本当にありがとうございました。
カップルでも年輩の方も連れてこられた旦那や小さい子でも本気で楽しませようとしてくれて素晴らしいツアーだなと思いました。
おかげで子供たちはすごく楽しめました。最初は嫌がっていた息子も海に慣れて楽しんでいました。特にパドルボードは旦那と二人でずっと乗って楽しんでいました。

The sea was rough from the morning... and there was a possibility of being sent back right after departure.

On the way, we encountered a sea turtle!!
It was actually a couple of sea turtles having their time (laughs).
Then we went for the second round of dolphin searching...

And we found them again!!

Moreover, they were in a group, which was an amazing sight ( •̀ᴗ•́ )/

I really felt incredibly lucky, and it was so moving ( •̀ᴗ•́ )/

If you go to Hawaii, you definitely have to participate!!

Honestly, I thought I was being tricked when I joined, but... it was amazing (laughs).

I was truly moved because I never expected to meet so many dolphins! Of course, I was also very satisfied to encounter sea turtles. I had a great experience, especially with a cheerful photographer accompanying us, which was worth more than the price. I felt the same excitement as when I touched a whale shark in Okinawa. I will definitely go back to meet the dolphins in Hawaii in a few years!

I will share my experience from the perspective of an intermediate to advanced level diver who has participated in dolphin swim tours in various locations, holding a dive master certification.

- Good points:
A Japanese guide accompanies the tour. The day is packed with activities such as dolphin swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, hula experiences, a departure ceremony, and group photos, allowing for a lot of fun in just one day.

- Bad points:
The number of participants is too high (around 40 people), which creates a disparity between those who enter the water first and those who enter last, affecting the chances of seeing dolphins. It would likely be more satisfying with a maximum of about 15 people. I couldn't determine how close I could get to the dolphins, and while I was waiting near the pod, I was scolded harshly by the local staff for blocking their path. It seems that the only thing allowed is to float and observe from above, so those wanting to take photos should be cautious.

After coming out of the water, things get quite hectic, and you have to change in the restroom without being able to take a shower. (On diving shop boats in places like Okinawa, it's normal to have showers on board.) The lunch provided is not a bento but rather snacks and a drive-thru from Burger King, which is insufficient. Moreover, since you eat on the bus on the way back, the smell in the vehicle can make it difficult for those prone to motion sickness to eat. There is no dry area on the boat, so bags brought along can get wet. (At the very least, they could have put up a net on the ceiling to address this.) Given that there are many beginners, I think this is quite a significant downside. There were quite a few people who arrived with regular bags that ended up soaking wet.

・良い点
日本語ガイドが同伴
ドルフィンスイム、SUPなどのマリンアクティビティ、フラ体験、出航セレモニー、集合写真など内容てんこ盛りで１日で楽しめる点

・悪い点
一回の人数が多すぎる（40人程度）ので、最初に入水した人と最後に入水した人で、イルカに会える人とそう出ない人が差が出る。（せいぜい15人くらいにした方が満足度が高いはず）
イルカにどこまで近づいていいのかが判断できず、ほかのドルフィンスイムのツアーのつもりで群れの近くまで潜って待機していたら現地スタッフに水上でこっぴどく怒られた。（進路を塞いだと判断された模様）上からぷかぷか眺めるくらいしか許されなそうなので、写真を撮りたい方は要注意。

海から上がった後がかなり慌ただしく、シャワーも浴びられないままトイレで着替えてバスになる必要がある。（沖縄などのダイビングショップの船は船内でシャワー浴びれるのが普通）
ランチがお弁当などではなく、スナックと、バーガーキングのドライブスルーなので少ない。しかも帰りのバスの中で食べるので車内の匂いもあり酔いやすい人は食べていなかった。
船上にドライエリアが用意されていないので、持ってきたバックなどが濡れる。（せめて天井にネットを張って対処するくらいはできるはず）初心者が多いにも関わらず、これはかなりのマイナスポイントと思います。普通のバックできてしまい、バックがびしょびしょになっている方が結構いました。

This was my first time participating, and I had a great time. I would definitely like to do it again if I have the chance. The participation fee might feel a bit high at times, but it was really worth it, and I didn't feel like I wasted any money. If I have the opportunity to go to Honolulu again, I would like to participate.

今回、初めての参加でしたが凄く楽しかったです。また機会があれば是非やりたいです。参加費が少し高く感じれる事もあるかもしれませんが、本当にコストが結構良くて全然お金がもったいなくなりませんでした。またホノルルに行く機会があれば参加したいです。

It was a stroke of luck to see wild dolphins, and not only that, they swam below us. I felt that luck played a big role since it depended on anticipating the direction the dolphins would swim and their speed. I’m glad I participated because they made sure everyone could see them as much as possible.

野生のイルカのため運になりますが、イルカを見れただけでなく下を泳いで行きました。イルカが泳ぐ方向に先回りをし来てくれるのを待つことと、イルカの泳ぐ速度にも依存するため、運も大きいと感じました。できる限りみんなが見れるように考えてくれているので、参加してよかったです。

I was so excited to see dolphins right after departing from the harbor! The dolphins came back several times, which was amazing! I also got to see sea turtles, and I was able to see everything properly! It was a shame that it wasn't a boat burger, though... haha. Next, I want to see winter whales! The staff welcomed us with such great energy, so it was fantastic!

ハーバーから出港して直ぐにイルカに会え、物凄く興奮しました！
イルカも何回も戻ってきてくれたので、最高でした！
ウミガメにも会え、全てちゃんと見れました！
船上バーガーじゃなかったのが残念でしたが・・笑
次は冬クジラが見てみたいです！

Despite my doubts, I thought I wouldn't be able to see dolphins. Honestly, I kept thinking that way until I actually experienced the tour.

On the day of the tour, I managed to wake up my sleepy body at 5 AM and headed to the meeting point, then boarded the bus to our destination. It took about an hour to reach the port where we would board the boat, but before I knew it, we arrived while the guide from Dolphin University was energetically sharing stories about how to enjoy the ocean.

After preparing to board the boat, we set off. The boat, carrying about 40 participants and around 8 staff members (two of whom were Japanese), quickly made its way out to sea. After singing a song dedicated to the ocean during the journey, we put on our goggles and fins, and soon spotted dolphins in the distance. We maneuvered the boat as close as possible, and everyone jumped into the water to start swimming.

Since it was my first time using fins and goggles, I was exhausted after just a little swimming, but I motivated myself by thinking, "There are dolphins nearby!" As I pushed forward, the staff member swimming ahead suddenly stopped. I wondered what was happening when I heard, "Look down!!" I quickly looked through my goggles into the water, and there were 7 or 8 dolphins swimming slowly just a few meters away.

I was so excited that I momentarily struggled to breathe, but I was too captivated to care, my eyes wide open as I watched the dolphins. It was just a few seconds, but that scene is etched in my memory so clearly that I can't imagine forgetting it.

After that, we tried again, but unfortunately, we couldn't have the same experience... While I was feeling down on the boat, the dolphins from earlier approached us and swam alongside the moving boat. There were even smaller dolphins jumping, which was incredibly exciting.

After enjoying our time with the dolphins, we went snorkeling at a spot where sea turtles were said to be, and we hit the jackpot, seeing three sea turtles right in front of us.

Finally, we all shyly danced the Hawaiian dance on the boat, and when we arrived back at the port, it was bittersweet to head home. They dropped me off near my hotel around noon, and I spent the afternoon enjoying Hawaii in that joyful mood.

At first, I was really anxious about whether I would enjoy it, but I had a much more valuable experience than I imagined, and above all, I would love to participate in this tour again the next time I go to Hawaii. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves the ocean, dolphins, and sea turtles.

Definitely experience something you can only do in Hawaii!

なんだかんだ言いつつ、どうせイルカは見れないんだろう。正直、自分は実際にツアーを体験するまで、ずっとそうやって考えていました。
当日、早朝の5時になんとか眠気いっぱいの体を起こして集合場所に向かい、目的地へ向かうバスに乗り込みました。
乗り込む船がある港までは大体1時間ほどですが、ツアーをガイドしてくれるイルカ大学の方が、体験談を交えてどうやって海を楽しむべきかを元気いっぱいに話してくれるうちにいつの間にか着いていました。
港についた後は船に乗り込む準備を終えたら、出港。約40人の参加者と8名ほどのスタッフさん（内二名は日本人の方）を乗せた船はあっという間に港から遠くの沖へ到着します。
移動中に海へ捧げる歌を歌った後、ゴーグルやフィンを装着していると、早速遠くの方にイルカを発見。なるべく近くまで船で行ってから全員が海へ飛び込み、泳いで移動を開始しました。
私はフィンやゴーグルの扱いが初だったため、少し泳いだだけでバテバテでしたが、近くにイルカがいる！と自分を奮い立たせなんとか進んでいると、前を泳いでいたスタッフさんが急停止。何かと思っていたら、「下見て！！」という声が聞こえたので急いで海の中をゴーグルで見ると、そこには7～8匹のイルカがほんの数メートル先をゆっくりと泳いでました。
興奮で息が一瞬少し苦しくなってしまいましたが、そんなことは気にならないくらい目を見開いてイルカを見ていました。
ほんの数秒でしたが、あの光景が脳みそから消えてしまうことなんて考えられないくらい、はっきりと焼き付きました。
その後は再度アタックしましたが残念ながら同じ体験はできず……と船で落ち込んでいたら、先ほどのイルカが移動中の船に近づいてきてくれて一緒に並走。小さめにジャンプするイルカもいて大興奮でした。
イルカとの触れあいを楽しんだ後はウミガメがいるというポイントでシュノーケリングをして、これも大当たりで3匹のウミガメを目の前で見ることができました。
最後は、船の上で恥ずかしがりながらもみんなで楽しくハワイの踊りを踊って、港に着いたら名残惜しくもそのまま帰路へ。12時頃にホテル周辺へ送ってくれたので、午後も私はその楽しい気分のままハワイを満喫しました。
初めは本当に楽しめるのか不安ばかりでしたが、想像以上に貴重な体験ができましたし、何より次回ハワイへ行くとなったらまた参加したいと思えるツアーでした。海が好きで、しかもイルカやウミガメも好きな方ならとてもおススメします。
是非、ハワイでしかできない体験を。

I was worried because it was early in the morning and the weather wasn't great, but it turned out to be a wonderful memory thanks to our energetic guide. However, the departure of the boat was significantly delayed, and we had to make an unexpected stop at a nearby tourist spot, so I wondered if we could have had more time to enjoy the sea if the boarding time had been longer. Overall, I was satisfied.

早朝から、しかも天気も良くなくて心配でしたが、元気なガイドさんのもといい思い出となりました。ただ、船の出船が大幅に遅れて、急遽港近くの観光地に立ち寄るなどがあったので、もっと乗船時間が長ければもっと海で遊べる時間があったのでは？ということもありましたが、全体的には満足です。

This tour is more of a picnic on a boat off the coast of Oahu rather than a dolphin-watching tour, so in that sense, it offers entertainment and could be enjoyable for those who are not used to being on the water. If you go in with the mindset that seeing dolphins would be a lucky bonus, you won't be disappointed. It was completely different from the dolphin tours on the Big Island. The staff followed the company's concept of providing entertainment, but at times their individuality came through, which I found a bit immature.

イルカを見るツアーというよりはオアフ島沖を船でピクニックするツアーで、そういう意味ではエンターテイメントもあり海に慣れていない人にとっては楽しいのではないでしょうか。
イルカは見れたらラッキーくらいのつもりでないとがっかりします。
ハワイ島のイルカツアーとは全く別物でした。
スタッフは楽しませようという会社のコンセプトにのっとってそれなりに業務されていましたが所々に個が出ていて幼稚だなぁと思いました。

The number of participants exceeded 40, which caused delays in various activities. With so many people in front, even if dolphins are nearby, only those at the front can see them. Getting on and off the boat also takes time. The staff are cheerful and entertaining, but... I have participated in marine activities in various countries, and this is the first time I've encountered such a large number of participants. I believe that unless the number of participants is reduced to less than half, I won't be satisfied.

参加人数が40名を超えていて、色々な事に時間がかかります。
人が前に沢山居るので、イルカが近くにいても前の方を泳いでいる人にしかイルカが見えないことも。
船の乗り降りにも時間がかかります。
スタッフの皆さんは明るくて楽しませてくれますが、、、
色々な国で海のアクティビティに参加していますが、こんなに参加人数が多いのは初めて。
参加人数を半数以下にしなければ満足出来ないと思います。
