We had the BEST time on our Ko Olina Ocean Adventures Dolphin & Snorkel Private Charter on October 10th!! We did the 3-hour private charter. We had a group of 25, all family, visiting Oahu for our wedding celebration and had booked this cruise for a little pre-wedding fun. Well, the cruise was beyond our expectations. We had the best time cruising around and snorkeling. We snorkeled and saw dolphins, sea turtles, and got to feed the fish. We had several kids under age 5 and they were able to accommodate us all. The crew was absolutely amazing. They took care of everyone’s needs, made us feel special, and created a super fun environment, all the while making sure we were safe. The food and drinks were also amazing!! Mine and my husband’s families cannot stop raving about the cruise and how amazing it was. It was also suitable for all ages, which was great, as we had six kids under 5. Also, booking this cruise through VELTRA was a breeze. They were so helpful and answered all my questions. Stop your searching and book this cruise, you will not regret it. I could not recommend this enough!! Thank you to the team for making this day so special for us and our family!!

The instructor guided us from behind, which made the zipline experience feel safe! The scenery was beautiful and refreshing! Although they didn't seem to speak much Japanese, they made an effort to communicate, which was fun. I think it's better to avoid wearing white T-shirts or pants, as they can get quite dirty when putting on the harness.

Luau was amazing
Food was amazing
It’s just a shame that you guys didn’t pick us up.
Had to get a taxi to the show which was lucky we found one that could take my husbands mobility scooter.
Made some phone calls to complain and sent an email to complain
We were promised a ride back to hotel on bus.
The hostess on the bus on the way was very rude to us
We did receive a small refund which we will grateful for.
Just a suggestion (which I did mention in my emails) for future tours. That maybe your host on the buses actually go and check with all persons that may be waiting by the pickup point or little further away from pickup point. You are dealing with tourists and not everyone will know where the exact pickup points are. Also in our case have the actual name of the tour in front window of bus. Our bus did not have this. Otherwise we would like have know. The host for our tour actually started walking down towards where we were standing but turned back around half way down. She would have seen my husband was in a mobility scooter and would i assume have this information written on your paperwork.

We participated with three adults and one child.
**[Transportation to the Hotel]**
We were picked up in a clean, large van. We were able to relax for nearly an hour on the way there and back, just the four of us.
**[Arrival]**
I was a bit anxious about communicating in English, but upon arrival, a female guide welcomed us and took care of every detail, making our experience very comfortable instead of stressful.
**[Water Athletics]**
The children enjoyed themselves, swimming around effortlessly and seemed to be having so much fun that they could have played forever. The adults also enjoyed it according to their own fitness levels. It felt great to move my body so much after a long time.
**[Wave Surfing]**
Unfortunately, the wave pool was out of order that day, so it was abruptly canceled, which was disappointing. However, the communication regarding the activity change from Waikiki to VELTRA was smooth, and they refunded us on the same day.
**[Lunch]**
Out of the four sets, I chose three with fried food as the main dish, so I thought it would have been better to order a more balanced selection. It felt like a lunch eaten by the pool. The menu seems to differ from the restaurant's, so there are likely various options available at the restaurant (snacks and drinks can also be purchased).
**[Lagoon]**
Due to the wind, the activities were limited, but we enjoyed riding a two-person canoe to a table and sofa floating in the lagoon, where we relaxed. This was also a lot of fun.
**[Showers and Changing Rooms]**
The free showers and changing rooms were simple, but I thought they were sufficient. Since we couldn't use the wave pool, we were able to use NoloKai as a service (which seems to normally cost $20). It was a very clean room, equipped with warm showers, towels, and a hairdryer. If you have plans right after, you can change here comfortably and head to your next appointment.
**[What to Bring]**
We wore our swimsuits, so we brought towels, a change of clothes for the return trip, a little cash, and drinks. We didn't bring any valuables, so we didn't use the lockers, but there are lockers available for $5 that allow free access.

It seemed that we were the only Japanese tourists in our group. Since it was the weekend, there were local families and students enjoying themselves, creating a lively atmosphere that was quite enjoyable without many Japanese people around.

【水中アスレチック】
子どもたちは、身軽にスイスイと楽しんでいて、いつまでも遊んでいるようなくらい楽しんでいました。大人もそれぞれの体力に合わせて、楽しんできました。ひさしぶりに思いきり身体を動かして、気持ちよかったです。
【ウェーブサーフィン】
この日は、ウェーブプールの不調ということで、急遽、中止となってしまいましたが残念でした。ですが、アクティビティ変更がワイカイ→VELTRAからの連絡もスムーズで即日返金してくださいました。
【ランチ】
４セットのうち、３セットを揚げ物メインを選んでしまったので、バランスよくオーダーしたらよかったなと思いました。プールで食べるランチという感じです。レストラン内の食事とはメニューが違うようなので、レストランメニューはいろいろありそうです。（軽食・飲み物も購入できます）
【ラグーン】
風があったため、限られたアクティビティとなりましたが、2人乗りカヌーに乗って、ラグーンに浮かぶテーブル、ソファーまで行って、のんびりしたり。と
こちらもとても楽しかったです。
【シャワー、更衣室】
無料のシャワーと更衣室はかんたんなものでしたが、これでも十分かなと思いました。ウェーブプールが使えなかったため、サービスでNoloKaiを利用させていただきました（通常20＄のようです）とてもきれいなお部屋で、あたたかいシャワーやタオル、ドライヤーも完備されていました。このあと、すぐに予定がある場合は、こちらでゆっくり着替えたら、すぐに次の予定に向かえそうです。
【持ち物】
わたしたちは水着を着て、向かいましたので、
タオル、帰りの着替え、少しの現金、飲み物を持っていきまた。
貴重品を持っていかなかったので、ロッカーは使いませんでしたが、
出し入れ自由のロッカー（5＄）もあります。

日本人観光客は、おそらくわたしたちグループだけのようでした。
週末だったこともあって、地元のファミリーや学生さんも遊びにきていたようで、なかなか味わうことのできない日本人がいない雰囲気もにぎやかとてもたのしい雰囲気でした。

I participated with my fifth-grade son and family. Since we attended on a Saturday, it was busier than expected with local children and young people, so going on a weekday might allow for a more enjoyable experience with fewer crowds. My son had a great time climbing and jumping around. For younger kids, some areas might still be a bit challenging.

I recommend taking lots of videos, as you can enjoy them again after returning home. The facility is new, so the restrooms and chairs are all very clean, and the Japanese staff were very attentive, which made us feel comfortable.

Unfortunately, the web pool was not available due to a mechanical issue, which was disappointing. At that time, we had to wait without any explanation beyond the scheduled time, which led to an awkward wait during lunchtime. I wish they had communicated the situation as soon as they realized there was a problem.

The lunch included with the tour was quite substantial, but since we chose different menu items, there were a lot of fried options. It would have been nice to have a bit more variety.

Since we participated in a monitor tour, all activities were included, but I believe the water-based obstacle course alone could provide a full day of fun.

土曜日に参加したので、地元？の子供&若者達で、思ったより混んでいたので、平日に行けば、もっと空いてる中で楽しめるのかもしれません。
息子は、軽やかに登ったりジャンプしたり楽しんでいました。低学年だと、まだ難しい所もありそうです。
動画をたくさん撮る事をオススメします。帰って来てからも、また楽しめます。
新しい施設なので、トイレやチェアなど色んな所がキレイで、日本人スタッフの方が丁寧に対応して頂き、安心して過ごせました。
日本ではなかなか機会がない、ウェブプールが機械の故障？で出来ず、残念でした。
その時に、予定時間を過ぎても状況の説明なく待つ事になったため、お昼時間との関係で半端な時間を過ごす事になってしまったので、故障と分かったタイミングで対応して欲しかったです。
ツアーについているランチは、ボリュームたっぷりですが、バラバラのメニューにしたのですが揚げ物が多かったので、もう少し他にもメニューがあれば良かったと思います。

モニターツアーでの参加だったため、すべてのアクティビティがついていましたが、水上アスレチックだけでも一日中楽しめる施設だと思います。

Experience:
We went with a pickup service, but there was a delay of about 10 minutes for the pickup and we arrived about 30 minutes late due to traffic. However, they extended our stay time accordingly, which made for a highly satisfying tour. The changing area and waiting room were not only very clean, but on the day we participated, there was a Japanese staff member who kindly and thoroughly explained how to do the activities and important points to note. We were able to spend our time without stress or worry. In all marine activities, including the water obstacle course, SUP, kayaking, and surfing, safety was ensured, and all the staff were friendly, making it a fun tour.

Note:
If you are using the pickup service, please be aware that you may not recognize the appearance of the shuttle bus, as it is not a bus wrapped with the tour name or anything similar.

There were no Japanese staff, but the foreign staff explained everything while translating into Japanese using their smartphones. The locker room can be used by VIPs without additional charges, and it is equipped with showers, with towels available for free. The VIP room's restroom has a washlet, providing a comfortable environment. In terms of security, there is always staff at the entrance of the VIP room to ensure that only VIPs can enter. For the aqua activities, there were many lifeguards monitoring to ensure safety, checking for anyone diving dangerously or in distress. There were no participants in canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding. In the surfing area, the instructor was kind and taught us carefully, which left a very good impression. Additionally, the VIP plan includes transportation and lunch, so the only things to bring are valuables and swimwear. By the way, I had chicken katsu for lunch. Each serving included three pieces of chicken katsu, about the size of an adult male's palm, making it very filling. A soft drink was also included for free. As a side note, there were hardly any Japanese tourists, so if you're looking to experience an international atmosphere, this is a great option. 日本人のスタッフはいませんでしたが、外国人スタッフの方がスマホを使って日本語に翻訳してくれながら説明して下さいました。ロッカールームもVIPは追加料金を払わずに使用できるし、シャワーも完備されてて、タオルも無料で使用できました。VIPルームのトイレはウォシュレットが付いてて安心して使用出来る環境でした。セキュリティー面は、VIPルームの入り口に常にスタッフの方がいてくれるのでVIP以外が入れないようになっていました。アクアアクティビティは危険な飛び込みをしている人や溺れている人がいないかなど、たくさんの監視員を配置して安全を配慮されていました。カヌーやサップなどをしている人はいなかったです。サーフィンが出来るエリアではインストラクターの方が親切、丁寧に教えてくれてとても印象が良かったと思います。また、VIPのプランでは送迎と昼食まで付いているので持って行くものは貴重品以外に水着くらいです。ちなみに、昼食はチキンカツを食べました。成人男性の手のひらサイズのチキンカツが一人あたり3枚も入っててとてもボリューミーでした。飲み物も1杯ソフトドリンクが無料で付いてました。あと、補足情報として日本人観光客はほとんどいませんでした。海外感を感じたい方はとてもいいと思います。綺麗なところで安全にアクティビティをするなら文句なしのところだと思います。
デメリットを強いてあげるなら、フロントの場所がわかりづらいこととワイキキエリアから車で40分くらいかかることです。

It's a bit far from Waikiki, but the shuttle service makes it comfortable. Upon arrival, the Japanese staff provided a detailed explanation of how to use the facilities and the timetable, which made me feel very secure and comfortable. After enjoying stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing in the spacious park, I experienced surfing for the first time in my life at over 60 years old. On my first attempt, I was quickly taken by the wave and bumped my helmet on the bottom of the pool. After a few tries, I was able to balance, but I couldn't move forward well against the waves and ended up retreating in less than 20 seconds, so turning was out of the question. Seeing my daughter, who started at the same time, endure for over a minute made me feel quite frustrated. However, we had a very enjoyable family holiday. I might start surfing in the future! The facilities were great, and the staff were friendly. Thank you for your help!

Our hotel was called Ilikai, and it was a bit far from the meeting place at the Sheraton, but we appreciated the adjustment to gather at the Hilton Hotel five minutes earlier. Since it was late August, there were only two other families besides us participating, so we were able to enjoy the tour bus comfortably. Wai Kai, located about 40 minutes by car from Waikiki in Ewa Beach, is a marine activity spot. The surfing experience with artificial waves was thoroughly enjoyable, as the instructor provided careful guidance throughout the session.

The white water cottages accessible by kayak in the lagoon allow you to sit with your legs in the water, which can be ticklish when little fish nibble at your feet. This area is an estuary, so there were various types of fish present.

The water obstacle course can be quite slippery when wet (which adds to the fun), so please be careful while playing! In contrast to the heat outside, the club lounge is refreshingly cool and can be added on the day of your visit. It offers spacious private lockers and shower rooms, and there's a 10% discount at the shop, which I thought was a great service.

Since I was staying in Ko Olina, I went by rental car instead of using the shuttle plan. I paid the parking fee in cash at the entrance, and when I headed back to the entrance after parking, a Japanese staff member greeted me. They provided a thorough explanation of the park and how to use the lockers, which was very helpful. I was able to ride the slides without much waiting, but it was disappointing that some attractions were not operating. On weekdays, the park closed at 3 PM, so it felt like it closed in no time.

Some of the thrilling slides were closed at times, possibly due to a lack of staff. I was disappointed that the lazy river, which I was looking forward to, was closed all day. The closing time was a bit early, so I couldn't fully enjoy my time there. However, the fact that we could play without waiting too much made the kids very happy.

While it wasn't a day filled with endless fun, I enjoyed the relatively quick access to slides similar to those at Yomiuri Land's pool in a relaxed atmosphere.

I was thrilled just to encounter a pod of dolphins up close, and then a dolphin jumped right in front of me, not once but twice! *^O^* Then a flying fish leaped out of the water and glided by! The three crew members were all friendly, kind, and delightful, making it the best two-hour sunset sailing experience! I want to participate every time I visit Oahu.
