Overall, it was cloudy, but it was great that it was sunny during the dolphin watching by boat and at the water play area.

The weather had not been good for about a week, and there was a possibility that we might not see any dolphins, but we were able to see a pod of about 20 dolphins and a sea turtle, which was amazing.
*Some people were feeling nauseous, so I think it would be a good idea to take motion sickness medication with you or bring some along.

I was really helped out.
First, the power of the slide!!! For a moment, I thought my mind went blank, and then the high-speed spin exploded. It reminded me of my childhood. There are still so many more!
I thought the food at places like this wouldn't be good, but the cheeseburger was surprisingly high quality! With thick meat and refreshing tomatoes, it was unbeatable with a beer...
I really enjoyed the pool to the point where I wondered if it was really February!

Enjoyed the luau! Tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. We had some confusion on pickup spot and after contacting the Customer Service, they had the bus wait for us to get to the right spot. Was very much appreciated!! Dinner was plentiful and delicious. The different productions of entertainment was delightful to watch and participate in. Paradise Cove(Ko Olina Resort) was a beautiful and relaxing place to spend an evening. Mahalo!

Note: The VIP Royal Box seating not worth the money but was a special treat.

When paying for the locker rental, please note that JCB cards cannot be used. There weren't many people, so I was able to experience all the attractions and enjoyed going on my favorites two or three times. Staff do not provide any instructions on how to ride the attractions, so I recommend checking the bulletin board properly before getting on. There are many thrilling drop attractions, so it's full of excitement! However, you need to have the stamina to carry a float up the stairs. It's a bit pricey, but it includes transportation, and I thought I would like to go again next time. Sunscreen is a must! I brought a beach towel from the hotel, so I didn't have any particular issues.

I thought it would be all thrill rides, but my second daughter, who isn't good with scary things, enjoyed riding the three and four-person slides multiple times. My eldest daughter loves thrills, so she enjoyed everything. I thought it would be nice to have a pool with slides that aren't available in Japan while in Hawaii. Since it was January, which is winter in Hawaii, it seemed like the locals weren't coming to play, and the wait time for the round four-person slide was about 3 to 6 minutes. The slides that can accommodate two or three people had no wait, so we kept riding them. If you want to ride a lot, I recommend going during this time. A rash guard is good to have when it's a bit chilly.

Also, the driver for the shuttle was polite, which made me feel at ease. The Japanese woman who explained things after we arrived at W&W was kind and nice!

The bodyboarding lesson was taught in English, but it didn't feel like a proper lesson; it was more like, "When the wave comes, ride from around this line!" and I ended up not being able to ride. I think I can skip the BBQ lunch next time. It was different from what I expected. It might be better to buy a lunch box inside the facility and eat while playing. Overall, I'm glad I went!!

1月だったので、ハワイは冬という事もあり現地の方も遊びに来ていない様でスライダーの待ち時間は丸い4人乗りが3分～6分位だったかなと。
3人～2乗りも出来るスライダーは待ちなしでどんどん乗りました。
とにかく乗りたい方はこの時期おすすめです。
ラッシュガードがあると肌寒い時にはいいです。
-あと、送迎のドライバーの方が丁寧で安心しました。
W&Wについてから説明して下さる日本人の女性が優しくて良かったです！
-ボディボード・レッスンは英語で教えてくれますが、教えてくれている感じではなく「波が来たらこのラインのあたりから乗って！」くらいの説明で乗れずに終わりました。
次回はBBQランチはしなくていいかなと。思っていたBBQとは違いました。
施設内でランチBOXを買って食べ遊んだ方がいいかな。
総合的に、行ってよかったです！！

Since I stayed in Ko Olina, I drove to the venue. With the deluxe package, you receive a lei upon entry, and your seats are very close to the stage. Although it was a holiday, it was relatively empty compared to large pool facilities in Japan, so we were able to enjoy all the attractions!! 祝日だったのですが、日本の大きなプール施設に比べるとかなり空いている方で全部のアトラクションを楽しむことが出来ました！！
特にマットで滑る滑り台がかなり迫力があって楽しかったのと、日本じゃ危なくてこんなの作らないだろうなーという感じでした！絶叫マシーンが苦手な人は覚悟した方がいいと思います笑

今回ドリンク付きのプランにしたのですが、選べる飲み物は主に炭酸系で、後はかき氷のシロップみたいな飲み物とかでした。ペットボトルの水は持ち込みOKだったので、ドリンク付きじゃなくても良かったのかなっていうのが正直なところです。

なんにせよ、とっても楽しかったのでハワイに行ったらまたツアーに参加させていただきたいと思いました！

At first, I considered going on my own, but I found this plan and decided to go with the shuttle service. Climbing the stairs for the water slide consumed more energy than I expected, so choosing the shuttle plan was the right decision!

For the coin lockers, you can't choose your preferred location; instead, you first use the machine to make a payment and set a PIN, which then reveals the locker number you can use. Also, the display on the machine is quite hard to read, making it difficult to operate. Since there were many Japanese participants on the tour, it was easy to ask questions with Japanese staff nearby.

Thanks to the off-season, there were no wait times for the attractions, and I had a great time. However, it was a bit disappointing that the lazy river was only open for two hours. Personally, I recommend the Tornado. You never know where you're going, so it keeps you on edge until you stop.

I think it's important to be cautious about injuries from friction on exposed skin areas like your ankles, knees, and elbows while wearing a swimsuit on all attractions. Especially for the Island Racer, I recommend being mindful to keep your feet and arms as much as possible inside the bodyboard. アトラクションはシーズンオフのおかげで待ち時間もなく、楽しめました。ただ、流れるプールが2時間限定の解放で少し残念でした。個人的にオススメはトルネードです。どこに行くかわからないので止まるまでドキドキし続けます。
すべてのアトラクションで、くるぶしや膝、肘など水着で肌が出ている箇所が摩擦によってケガをしないように注意したほうが良いと思います。特にアイランドレーサーは出来るだけボディボードから足や腕が出ないように意識することをオススメします。怖くてそれどころではないかもしれませんが、怪我をしてしまうとプールに入れないのは残念なので…。
10時半開園の15時集合でしたが、時間が足りないかと不安でしたが、充分楽しむことが出来ました。

However, it turned out to be the day of an annual parade, and the roads were heavily congested. After waiting for the bus for an hour... (I wondered if this could have been anticipated since it happens every year, but all the other tours and buses heading to the airport were also delayed, so I thought it might just be something you have to accept in Hawaii with a big heart, haha). It seemed that the street where we were supposed to be picked up was particularly congested, so the bus stopped on a larger road, and two staff members (one of whom was Japanese) ran to greet us. A large, beautiful bus came to pick us up. Once on the bus, they began with an apology for the delay, introduced the staff, and explained the schedule and important notes in English followed by Japanese. There was also information about purchasing a USB for photos and videos taken on the trip, as well as renting wetsuits. 予約をしていた日の朝、ＶＥＬＴＲＡさんのスタッフの方から「本日は波が高く催行不可能となりました…」と連絡があり、返金・振り替えなどの説明があり、翌日へ振り替えてもらいました。もちろんきちんとした対応で、何の心配もありませんでした。次の日も心配でしたが、電話が来なかったので大丈夫なんだなと思いピックアップ場所へ。しかしその日は年に一度のパレードの日だったらしく道路は大渋滞。バスを待つこと1時間…。（毎年の事なので事前に予測できないのかな？とは思いましたが、他のツアーも、空港へ向かう予約のバスもどれもこれも全てが遅れていたのでハワイでは仕方がないのかな？と思う大きな心が必要です（笑））我が家のピックアップ場所の通りが特に渋滞していたようなので大きい道路にバスを停めスタッフの方が2人（1人は日本人）で走って迎えに来てくれました。大きい素敵なバスがお迎えに来てくれていました。バスに乗るとまず、遅れたお詫びから始まりスタッフの紹介、今日のスケジュールや注意事項などを英語に続き日本語で説明してくれます。バスの中で写真や動画を収めたＵＳＢの購入、ウエットスーツのレンタルなどについても説明があります。行きのバスで写真・動画のセットを購入した人はリストバンドのプレゼント（参加人数分）、5㌦の割引がありました。カメラマンの方の近くにいると多めに撮ってもらえるような気がします。ハーバーに着くと、トイレを済ませフィン・ゴーグルを借ります。（バスの中でレンタルしたウエットスーツもここで試着してみます）サイズを合わせて、ＯＫであれば船に乗り込みます。乗船後、イルカを探しに行きますがその間、再度説明があり、海や生き物に敬意を表すためのハワイの歌を歌って花を捧げます。陽気なハワイアンのスタッフ、イルカのポイントに着いたらすぐに海へ飛び込みイルカの場所まで泳いでいきます。残念ながらかめ、くじらには会えませんでしたが、イルカに出会え自然を感じられ感動でした。そのあとは別の場所へ移動し、シュノーケリングやカヤックなどで遊ぶ自由時間があります。ハーバーまで帰港する際にタロイモのチーズバーガー、パイナップル1口サイズを1つ小袋のチップスを一人一袋食べながら帰っていきます。スタッフがフラダンスも踊ってくれ、参加者皆で踊ったりもします。終始楽しい時間で家族みんな大満足です。我が家はUSBを購入したので、その日の夕方ワイキキのDFS近くにあるオフィスへ取りに行きオフィスにいた日本人の男性もとても気さくで感じのいいかたでした。エコバックはこのオフィスでもらえます。次回ハワイへ行った際には是非また参加したいです。お子さんがいらっしゃる場合は、11時出航プランにした方が子供の負担にならないと思います。普段酔わなくても酔い止めは予防として飲むべきだと思います。

I visited at the end of the year. It was easy to get around since there was a bus from the hotel with a shuttle service.

The park isn't very large, but it's a treasure trove of water slides. You can enjoy thrilling slides that you can't experience in Japan without waiting in long lines.

The pool water was quite cold, which surprised me at first. However, the kids seemed to get used to it quickly.

One downside was that I had to wait quite a while to order lunch. There were various menu options, but I was told that only set menus were available when I tried to order. The bus pickup was at 3:15 PM, so I wanted to play a bit longer, but lunch took quite a bit of time. However, since outside food isn't allowed (they check bags at the entrance), we had no choice but to eat there.

I think if you buy lunch early or adjust your timing, you can enjoy your time there more effectively.

ちょっと残念だったのが、お昼を注文するのにかなり並んだことです。そして色々なメニューがあったのですが、注文するときにセットメニューしか扱ってないと言われました。バスのお迎えが15：15だったので、もう少し遊びたかったのですがお昼に結構時間がかかってしまいました。ただ、持ち込みができないため(入園時にカバンチェックがあります。)、そこで食べるしかないのですが。
お昼は早めに買うなど、時間をずらすと上手に遊べると思います。

With preschoolers, there are height restrictions that can be disappointing.

We went as a couple. There were many families there. The slides were of a type that you don't find in Japan, and they were a lot of fun. All the slides were easy to ride on. The summer beds were available in the morning, but by around noon, they were all taken. Since we went during New Year's, it was cold. After getting out of the pool, it was chilly, so I think it's better to bring a rash guard. They sell them at the shop at the entrance, but the selection is limited. This was my 20th trip to Hawaii, but I had hardly experienced West Oahu. The farthest I had visited in Hawaii before was Ko Olina, so I was really looking forward to this West Oahu tour.

My husband and I participated, and since we were the only two participants that day, it felt like a private tour. Our guide, Akima, was a charming and wonderful Japanese person who handled four roles: driver, guide, instructor, and photographer, all with a smile.

The tour was packed with activities, including listening to myths related to the sightseeing spots and enjoying beautiful scenery. However, the most memorable part was snorkeling and encountering three sea turtles and a manta ray. According to Akima, seeing a manta ray happens about once a year, so we were very lucky.

We also opted for the photo shoot, and since Akima is an underwater photographer, he took many wonderful pictures of us swimming with the sea turtles, which made us very satisfied.

I heard that fewer people book this West Oahu tour in winter compared to summer, so I think winter is recommended for those who want to enjoy West Oahu in a smaller group and at a leisurely pace.

冬場はこの西Oahuのツアーを申し込む人は夏場に比べて少ないとのことでしたので、少人数でゆったりと西Oahuを楽しみたい人には冬場がお勧めだと思います。

I was unsure about going to the pool in Hawaii, but since the kids seemed excited, I decided to sign up. In the end, it was a great success! The adults had fun all day too.
