I apologize for the delay in my post. In March, my husband, my daughter (who is 8 years old), and I participated in the snorkeling activity. It was our first time snorkeling, so we were a bit scared until we got used to it. The staff kindly pushed us from behind to help us swim and took us to great spots. They were also very kind to my daughter on the boat, and I was really touched by the staff's thoughtful care. When dolphins swam very close, I got distracted by my daughter and hurriedly dove in, and we were able to see a group of dolphins. My husband was thrilled to see them up close. We also got to see small fish and turtle eggs. Since it was whale season, we were excited to see whales swimming gracefully and even witnessed a whale jump. I definitely want to participate again when we visit Hawaii. Thank you very much!

We had an absolutely gorgeous clear day. The ocean floor was visible to more than 30 feet. We were entertained by dolphins, monitored by turtles, and even visited by some whales! I'm sure we were very lucky, but it sure seemed like it was all arranged just for us. The views of Oahu were breathtaking, and though my wife and UII did not snorkle we enjoyed the stories from the knowledgeable staff. Patrick makes bodacious Mai Tais!!

I participated in a deluxe cruise on April 20, 2008.

There were about 40 passengers in total, and we were the only three Japanese people. The explanations were primarily in English, but there was a staff member who was fluent in Japanese, so I didn't feel any particular inconvenience.

The cabin has about 30 seats, but many people were enjoying the view from the deck. There are two restrooms available.

The boat swayed quite a bit, and two of my companions got seasick. It seems that standing and looking at the distant scenery is less likely to cause nausea than sitting down. I was completely fine, though.

We mostly saw dolphins swimming in the distance, but some dolphins came close to the boat, which was very exciting when we saw them up close. However, it seemed to be a sleepy time for them, so it was disappointing that we didn't get to see any jumps or spins. For dolphin watching, an early morning cruise might be better.

Regarding snorkeling, I have experienced clearer waters before, so I wasn't particularly impressed, but I did see a turtle, and I enjoyed it to some extent. Depending on the season, it might feel a bit cold, so I recommend wearing a rash guard. It also helps prevent sunburn.

The lunch was delicious, but the boat was rocking, so I was focused on eating without dropping anything from my plate.

I think the encounter rate with dolphins and turtles and the degree of the boat's sway depend on timing. All the staff were kind, fun, and very good. However, since it's an activity with many foreigners, I wouldn't recommend it for those who are not comfortable in that kind of atmosphere.

総勢40名程度の乗客で、日本人は我々三名のみ。基本的に説明は英語ですが、日本語の堪能なスタッフがケアしてくださるので、特に不都合は感じませんでした。

キャビンは30席程度の座席がありますが、デッキで外を眺めている人が多かったです。トイレは2箇所あります。

ボートはかなり揺れるので、同行者二名は船酔いになってしまいました。座っているよりも、立って遠くの景色を眺めている方が酔いにくいようです。私は全く平気でしたが。

お目当てのイルカは遠方を泳ぐ姿を見るという感じだったのですが、中には船の近くまで寄って来るイルカもいて、間近で見たときはとても興奮しました。しかしながら、眠い時間帯だったようで、ジャンプやスピンが見られなかったのは残念です。イルカウォッチングに関しては早起きクルーズの方が良いかもしれません。

シュノーケリングに関しては、もっと透明度の高い海での経験があるので、さほどの感激はありませんでしたが、ウミガメも一匹見られましたし、それなりに楽しめました。季節によっては若干寒く感じることもあるかと思いますので、ラッシュガードの着用をおすすめします。日焼け防止にもなりますし。

ランチは美味しかったのですが、なにせ船が揺れるので、皿から落ちないように食べることに必死でした。

イルカやウミガメとの遭遇率や船の揺れ具合はタイミングによると思います。スタッフは全員親切で楽しくて非常に良かったです。ただし外国人の多いアクティビティなので、そういう雰囲気が苦手な人にはおすすめしません。

You can see a pod of dolphins within a meter, and afterwards, encounter giant sea turtles and tropical fish! The cheeseburgers made by the captain on the boat are exquisite, and you can even enjoy kayak surfing. Finally, you can experience hula at a park near the harbor. It's a parade of activities that can only be done in Hawaii! Additionally, there is a photographer accompanying the tour, and if you request, they will edit the photos taken during the tour into a DVD and deliver it the next day! This way, the wonderful experiences of the day can be kept as souvenirs! Not only is the tour itself interesting, but the magnificent views of Hawaii's emerald green sea from the catamaran yacht are also remarkable! I absolutely recommend this tour! It may seem a bit pricey, but given the content, it's worth it! I truly had a great time! Thank you, staff!!!

This is my fifth time in Hawaii, and it's a family tradition to come here. Since handling money can be a hassle, we choose the full package course. After experiencing bodyboarding here, my kids have become huge fans of it. This time, we revisited the sensations here before later having the real experience at Kailua Beach, where we usually go. Both adults and kids can have a lot of fun here. You might not be able to laugh and have such a good time at a pool in Japan? The international vibe really helps to open up the spirit. The barbecue lunch this time was well-received by the kids. To be honest, it wasn't good in the past, but it was delicious this time. If the budget allows, I think the full package course is really convenient. This pool is definitely an activity we can't miss next summer.

The thrilling slides and the excitement of the wave pool had the kids overjoyed. There are also pools that smaller children can enjoy. The bead ice was incredibly delicious. When the sun went down, it got a bit chilly, and while you could warm up in the jacuzzi, it was for ages 21 and over, so the kids were shivering.

It was an early morning departure from a still chilly start, but when we reached the point, we were able to see an unexpected pod of dolphins even from the boat. There were mother and baby dolphins, and dolphins jumping out of the water.

Due to the sea conditions that day, we ended up sitting on the ladder of the boat and peering into the water for dolphin watching, but we were able to see the dolphins swimming alongside the boat up close, which was truly moving.

After moving to a calm spot, we enjoyed plenty of snorkeling and encountered colorful fish and sea turtles. We also had fun playing with the kayak we brought on board, and the hamburgers and pineapples we ate on the boat were delicious!

The staff were all fun and considerate, keeping the participants engaged! I entrusted the camera to a local staff member for underwater dolphin photos, and we got a lot of great shots (laughs).

Finally, we even had a hula lesson, making it a wonderful experience. Despite being such a packed tour, it ended in half a day, allowing us to spend a meaningful day.

まだ肌寒い早朝からのの出航でしたが、ポイントに着くと、思いがけないほどのイルカの群れが船の上からでも確認できました。親子イルカや、海上にジャンプするイルカ・・。
この日は海のコンディションにより、船にかけたハシゴに腰掛け、水のなかに顔をつっこんでのドルフィンウォッチングとなりましたが、船と併走して泳ぐイルカ達の様子を、本当に間近で見ることができ、感動です。　
また、穏やかな場所に移動してから、たっぷりシュノーケリングもして、色とりどりの魚や海がめにも出会えました。他にも、船に積んできたカヤックで遊んだり、船上で食べたハンバーガーやパイナップルも美味しかったです☆　
スタッフが全員楽しく、気遣いのある方ばかりで、参加者を飽きさせません！
イルカの水中写真は、現地のスタッフの人にカメラを託して撮ってもらったら、いい写真が沢山撮れました（笑）。
最後にフラレッスンまでついて、いい経験になりましたよ。
こんな盛り沢山のツアーなのに半日で終わるので、１日有意義に過ごせました。

My family booked a trip to Big Splash. We were looking forward to this tour even before we went, and it was incredibly fun, living up to our expectations, and our whole family was very satisfied. The park was not as large as we thought, so we were able to see everything within the time we had, and there were thrilling attractions that you wouldn't find in Japan, making it an exciting day. However, it was a bit cold since it was March, which was a bit disappointing.

I participated with three women on February 27.

The weather was nice, warm, and perfect for the beach.

The guides, Kayoko, Papa, Peter, Olli, Bobby, and Justin, were all unique and wonderful people! I especially appreciated Kayoko's help.

Fortunately, we were able to see whales and turtles. We also got a great view of dolphins, and even for someone like me who is scared of the ocean, it was so cute that I forgot all about my fears!

It was early in the morning, so I was a bit sleepy, but our local guide, YURIKO, greeted us with such brightness and energy. On the bus, she explained the activities in a fun and easy-to-understand way while playing a DVD, and before we knew it, we arrived at the port! On the boat, there were crew members and coincidentally, a reporter and photographer from a Japanese Hawaii magazine, so we boarded with a large group and set sail! We explored the beautiful sea at dawn while searching for dolphins. Just when we were feeling a bit disappointed because we couldn't find any dolphins, we spotted a whale spouting! After that, dolphins were still elusive, so we temporarily stopped the boat to experience snorkeling in a spot known for its abundant tropical fish! It was my first time snorkeling, and I was amazed by the beautiful, colorful tropical fish, starfish, and sea urchins. Just then, a large group of dolphins swam right by us!!! Everyone's excitement skyrocketed, and we made a U-turn towards the direction the dolphins were swimming. I struggled a bit with snorkeling since it was my first time and fell behind. However, the staff quickly noticed and kindly supported me. Just as I was catching my breath and getting ready to go, the dolphins came over, and I was able to swim alongside them up close. When I dove into the water, I could hear the adorable sounds of the dolphins, which was truly moving! I also saw a sea turtle, and at the end, there was a beautiful rainbow! On top of that, there was a double rainbow, which is said to bring good luck☆ The crew and the photographer were all smiles, saying that such a thing is rare. I definitely want to see everyone again! Thank you, YURIKO and all the crew members!

朝早かったので少し眠かったのですが、現地ガイドのＹＵＲＩＫＯさんがとっても明るく元気に出迎えてくれました。バスの中ではアクティビティの内容を分り易く楽しくＤＶＤを流しながら説明してくださりあっという間に港に到着！船にはクルーとたまたま日本のハワイ雑誌の取材の記者とカメラマンが来ており大所帯で乗り込みいざ出航！まだ朝焼けが綺麗な海をイルカを探しながらあちこち回りました。なかなかイルカが見つからず少し落胆してきたら偶然鯨の潮吹きが！その後もイルカはなかなか現れず、一旦船を止めて熱帯魚がたくさんいるという場所でシュノーケリングを体験！初体験でしたがすごく綺麗で色とりどりの熱帯魚や、ひとで、うになどを見れて感動してると・・・イルカの大群が真横を横切りました！！！みんな一気にテンションが上がりイルカの泳ぐ方向へＵターン。私は始めてのシュノーケリングでうまく進めず疲れて遅れをとってしまいました。でもすぐにスタッフの方が気づいてくれて優しくサポートしてくださり、息が整っていざ向かおうとしたらイルカがこっちへ来てくれてすぐ近くで一緒に泳ぐことができました。海に潜るとイルカの「きゅーきゅー」と言う可愛い鳴き声が聞けて本当に大感動でした！ウミガメも見れて最後には綺麗な虹が！その上に更に虹がかかり幸運を招くというダブルレインボウに☆こんなことは珍しいよと、クルーとカメラマンもニコニコ笑顔でした。またみんなに絶対会いたいです！ありがとうＹＵＲＩＫＯさん＆クルーの皆様！

Diving down with a shaka! シャカで急降下！

I participated in a tour that didn't include lunch, but there was a good variety of food available at the shop, which was great. Being able to eat what I like at my own pace makes this tour more recommendable.

The most fun part was the Shaka. I ended up trying it three times. I heard the instructions from the staff: "Keep your chin down, don't let go of your hands, and lift your hips," and then I was kicked off with the float tube saying, "Let's go." I don't know the exact slope, but it felt like a steep drop while riding the tube. The first time, I forgot to keep my chin down and my neck hurt; the second time, I forgot to lift my hips and almost lost my bikini; but by the third time, I finally managed to do it as instructed.

The FlowRider was also fun, but challenging. You can only do it one at a time, so it felt a bit embarrassing with everyone watching. The wave pool was awesome too! The waves were huge and there were so many of them! Those waves felt like a storm. It was so much fun.

I was a bit scared of my swimsuit coming off, so I only tried the tube rides, but I was very satisfied. There was hardly any waiting time. If it got a little cold, I could warm up at the spa.

I think it's a place that people of all ages can enjoy. I'm glad I went.

　ランチは含まれていないツアーに参加しましたが、売店でけっこう種類豊富に食べ物があるので、すごくよかったです。好きなものを好きな時間に食べられるのでこちらのツアーのほうがお勧めかも。
　すっごい楽しかったのはシャカ。3回も挑戦してしまいました。係員の人に「アゴをひいて、手を離さないで、お尻を浮かして」という注意事項を聞き、「Let's go」と浮き輪チューブを蹴り出されます。何度くらいの斜面かわからないけれど、チューブに乗っていると落ちるっていう感じで急降下。1度目はアゴをひくのを忘れ首がいたくなり、2度目は腰を浮かすのを忘れてビキニが脱げそうになり、3度目にやっと落ち着いて言われたとおりにできました。
　ダ・フローライダーも楽しい。でも難しい。一人ずつでしかできないので、みんなが見てるからなんか恥ずかしい。あと波のプールもサイコー！波が大きくて、そして多すぎ！あの波は嵐です。楽しすぎる。
　水着が切れちゃったりするのが怖いのでチューブを使用するものしか挑戦しなかったけれど大満足でした。待ち時間も全然なかったし。ちょっと寒くなったらスパで温まれるし。
　どの年代の方も楽しめるところだと思います。行ってよかったです。

This is a nice little park, with a wonderful kids play area, a lazy water float under a water fall and a couple of deep drops. Perfect for people with access problems (I am round with bad knees). Many of the slower "rides" have ramped access to them. The staff quality is misleading. Some of the staff were excellent and fun, seemed to really enjoy working at the park and playing with the toys, showing guests how to have a good time. However; some of them looked bored and like they would rather be eating liver. Every year I like to get an airbrush tatoo which lasts the length of my vacation, to I pick a special one. This time, it didn't even last the afternoon. The guy did not clean my skin, or dust it afterwards and it came off before we left the park. This is a nice way to spend a few hours at a slower pace. Thrill seekers or action junkies will find this way too tame; recommended fore everyone else!

I went with a 9-year old and the waterpark was a blast. They don't have a ton of slides, but the ones they do have are amazing. I wouldn't recommend it for much younger children because most of the rides not only have a height requirement, but are pretty intense as well.

I participated in the Big Splash Package.

The wave pool and thrilling slides offer an intensity that you can't experience in Japan. My top recommendation is the wave pool and the white V-shaped slide called "Shaka." The tube slide that you go down in complete darkness is also a lot of fun.

It might have been the off-season, but the park was not crowded, allowing us to enjoy the attractions without long wait times. Even when there was a line, it was only about 5 to 6 people.

The staff who took care of us on-site were energetic and very friendly. The travel time from the hotel is quite long, but on the way back, you’re so tired from playing that you can fall asleep in no time.

You can experience everything in a day, so it may not be a place you want to visit again soon, but I definitely recommend it for first-timers.

波の出るプール、スリル満点の滑り台など、そのスケールは日本では味わえない容赦無さ。
私のイチオシは波の出るプールと、白いV字型の滑り台『シャカ』。真っ暗の中を滑るチューブスライドも楽しいです。

シーズンオフだったこともあるかもしれませんが、園内は空いていて、アトラクションに並んで待つ時間を取られず、目一杯遊べます。並んでも5~6人程度のものでした。

現地でお世話してくれたスタッフの方は元気良くとても感じのいい方でした。
ホテルとの移動時間が結構長いのですが、帰りは遊び疲れているのでぐっすり眠ればあっという間です。

一日いれば一通り遊び切れる内容なので、もう一回行きたくなる程のものではないですが、初めての方には絶対お勧めです。

This was what I was looking forward to the most on my trip to Hawaii, so my expectations were high, but it was even more fun than I anticipated, and my friends and I were thrilled. The brightness and attentiveness of the staff made the experience even more enjoyable.

The clarity of the ocean was amazing, and we were able to see many dolphins and fish. We even happened to encounter a sea turtle while we were kayaking! It was truly lucky.

The hamburgers we ate on the boat were delicious, and the hula lesson was fun, so I’m really glad I participated in this tour. I will definitely be a repeat visitor.

I took a lot of photos, but unfortunately, they didn’t turn out very well, which was a bit disappointing.

This time, I participated in Dolphin & You for the first time. The weather was decent, and after setting sail, I was able to see turtles and flying fish, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see any dolphins. Since they are wild dolphins, I understand that this can happen. However, the staff's bright smiles and their efforts to create a lively atmosphere made the experience enjoyable, even though it was disappointing not to see dolphins. I left the boat vowing to try again next time. Next year, I will definitely see dolphins! I’m looking forward to my next trip to Hawaii even more.

My spouse and I participated in this tour. When I asked my wife, "What do you want to do in Hawaii?" she replied, "I want to see dolphins!! I want to see sea turtles (honu)!!" So, we signed up for this tour.

My wife, who gets seasick easily, seemed a bit anxious, but we brought motion sickness medication from Japan, and once she took it, she was totally fine. (Even if you forget, no worries! Motion sickness medication is sold at the shop in Ko Olina Marina.) Within 30 minutes of leaving the marina, we encountered dolphins! It was so healing. The dolphins, curious about everything, quickly approached us, jumping around and showing various expressions.

Next, we snorkeled and met honu and various colorful tropical fish... Four honu swam gracefully by. The fish came so close that we could almost touch them. I recommend bringing a waterproof camera.

After that, it was snack time. Everyone enjoyed their meals on the deck or wherever they liked. The kalua pig was delicious.

The boat had a cabin, making it very comfortable! It also had a restroom, which was very reassuring. I had previously gone on another tour to see dolphins, and I remembered feeling cold when coming out of the water due to the sea breeze. However, I didn't feel too cold inside the cabin, but I recommend bringing a long-sleeve shirt just in case.

It was a blissful time for my wife and me that flew by. I want to see dolphins again...

夫婦で参加させていただきました。家内に「ハワイで何したい？」と聞いたところ、「イルカに会いたい！！ウミガメ（ホヌ）に会いたい！！」との返事で、このツアーに申し込みました。
船酔いのひどい家内は多少不安だったみたいですが、日本から酔い止め薬を持参し、薬を飲めば、全然大丈夫でした。（忘れても大丈夫！！コオリナマリーナの売店で酔い止め薬を売ってますよ）マリーナを出て、30分もしないうちにイルカとご対面！！いや~、癒されます。いろんなものに興味津々のイルカたちはすぐに近寄って来てくれて、飛び跳ねたり、いろんな表情を見せてくれました。
イルカの次はシュノーケルでホヌやいろんな色の熱帯魚とご対面。。。優雅に4匹のホヌが泳いでました。手に取れるくらい魚たちが近寄ってきてくれました。防水カメラを持って行かれることをおすすめします。
その後、軽食の時間。船の甲板や思い思いの場所でみなさん、食事されてました。カルアピックがうまかったです。
船はキャビン付きの船なので、すごく快適！！トイレも付いてるのですごく安心。以前、別のツアーでイルカを見に行ったことがあったのですが、その時は海から上がると海風が冷たく感じ、寒い思いをしたことがあったのですが、キャビン内にいるとあまり寒さを感じませんでしたが、長袖一枚もって行かれることをおすすめします。
あっという間のうちら夫婦にとって至福の時間でした。
また、イルカに会いたいなぁ~。。。

We participated as a family of two adults and two children. We were very happy and completely satisfied to see the kids so excited and having a great time. However, it was a bit disappointing that the return meeting time was early when transportation was included. With lunch included, the time flew by.

This was my second time participating. I highly recommend the Big Splash Package! This time, we took advantage of the summer vacation family special rate (with transportation included), which was quite a deal.
*For 2 adults and 1 child, it was $136 (normally $184, with the Splash rate at $134, so for just $2 more, we got meals and a bodyboarding experience).

As a dad planning a family of surfers, the ability to safely bodyboard was a deciding factor for me.

The meals were all-you-can-eat, and the beef and chicken were delicious.

The bodyboarding experience was as fun as I expected.

My little one was riding just like this.

Local bodyboarders were also riding standing up!

The kids' pool has plenty of slides, so I don't think they'll get bored.

The time was a bit short, but it surprisingly used up a lot of energy, so it was just right.

I also received one more experience ticket, so I tried the FlowRider.

It was quite fun!
