We had booked an afternoon session, but on the day of, we received a call in our hotel room from a Japanese person with disappointing news: the session was canceled due to bad weather. They informed us that we would receive a full refund and encouraged us to rebook via email if we had other dates available, so I quickly made a reservation for two days later. I hesitated about the timing since it was early, but I wanted to see the sunrise, so I changed to the first morning session.

On the day, we were picked up at 4:40 AM and headed to a location about a 10-minute walk away, where two small buses were waiting. The driver who greeted us was a foreign woman. I was a bit nervous about meeting the famous "local uncle" mentioned in reviews, but then I was taken to another bus where the driver was a male foreigner. After giving my name, I was handed a waiver and received a brief explanation in English before entering.

The waiver was written in somewhat unclear Japanese. The inside of the vehicle had a sweet smell that made me feel nauseous, so I quickly took motion sickness medication. We had some time before others arrived, so I filled out the waiver, but it was confusing and took a while, plus it contained many scary warnings. I didn't read everything. We picked up a few more participants, and while waiting, we watched a video and received explanations similar to the waiver content. It felt like we were heading to a scary place. We arrived at our destination in about an hour at a surprising clear sky!

Once there, we received instructions from a middle-aged man who spoke Japanese. He said that copies of our passport and voucher were fine. There was a need for coins for the lockers, and there was a change machine, so I made sure to have some quarters or a dollar bill for tips and photo payments, which I put on my card. We waited until our names were called, and while taking photos and exchanging money, we were quickly called up.

I met the instructor and the camerawoman, who was a veteran. They didn't speak Japanese. After receiving a very simple explanation again, we put on our gear and filmed an interview video with my husband, then waited for the Cessna!

Once we boarded, we headed straight up into the sky. I had heard it would be cold, but I wanted to embrace the Hawaiian vibe, so I wore a short-sleeved shirt, and it turned out to be fine! However, while waiting, a long-sleeved shirt would have been necessary. It took about 10 minutes to reach altitude, and I was so mesmerized by the scenery that I didn't feel scared.

We all made our final preparations, and one by one, the people sitting in the front started to jump. I was one of the last, so I watched them go. When it was my turn, I jumped with two others. It was so intense that I couldn't focus on the scenery. The camerawoman had us do various poses, and I tried my best to mimic them. Before I knew it, the free fall was over, and once the parachute opened, I could enjoy the view. It was a surreal feeling, and I even got to steer the parachute.

The parachute made me feel quite nauseous, so motion sickness medication is definitely necessary. Once we landed, we filmed another interview video, received an explanation about tips, and checked the videos and photos taken. They were expensive, but we decided to purchase both. そして、当日朝の4:40ピックアップで徒歩10分くらいのところへ向かうと小型バスが2台。
声をかけたドライバーさんは外国人女性でした。
口コミを見ていて名物おじさんと言う方にドキドキしていたのでホッとしていたらもう一つのバスに連れて行かれました。ドライバーさんは男性外国人でした。
名前を伝えると誓約書を渡され、適当に英語で説明され、中へ入ります。
誓約書は少しわかりにくい日本語です。
車の中は絶対酔う！って感じの甘い匂いでゾッとしました。酔い止めすぐ飲みました。他の方が来るまで時間があったので止まってる間に記入しましたがわかりにくいので時間かかりますし、怖いことがたくさん書いてます。全部読んでません。何箇所か参加者を拾っていき、車内では誓約書の内容のようなビデオと説明を見ます。今から怖いとこへ向かうようなビデオです。。猛スピードで1時間ほどでつきます。びっくりするほどの快晴！着いたら日本人なのかな？日本語話せる男性から説明を受けます。
中年の男性でした。パスポート、バウチャーはコピーでokです。写真の説明、記入漏れのチェック、わからなければ何でも教えてくださいます。ジョークも交えて楽しい方でした。ロッカーで小銭が必要で両替機もありますので25セント4枚か1ドル札、チップ代、写真支払いはカードにしたのでカード、あと少し多めに待ち時間が多いことを考え、現金があれば大丈夫でした。名前が呼ばれるまで待ちます。写真を撮ったり両替していたらすぐに呼ばれました。
インストラクター、カメラマンと対面です。ベテランな感じのおじさん、カメラマンは女性でした。日本語通じません。
簡単すぎる説明を改めて受け、装備を付けて旦那と一緒にインタビュー動画を撮り、あとはセスナ待ち！
着いたら乗り込みます。すぐに上空へ向かいます。寒いと聞いてましたがハワイらしさを少しでも出したく半袖で行きましたが寒さなんかないです！ただ、待ってる間は長袖必要です。
10分程で着きます。景色に夢中で恐怖感はありませんでした。
みんなで最終準備をして、一番前に座ってる人からポンポン落ちていきます。私は最後の方でしたので見送ってました。そして自分の番が来て、３人で落ちます。
苦しすぎて景色どころではありませんでした。
カメラマンがいろんなポーズをしてくるので頑張って真似して撮ってもらいます。あっという間にフリーフォールが終わり、パラシュートを開くと景色が楽しめます。不思議な感覚でした。操縦もさせてもらいました。
パラシュートがかなり酔うので絶対酔い止めいります。
地上に着いたらインタビュー動画を撮り、チップの説明を受け、撮ってもらった動画、写真をチェックして、欲しい方を購入します。高いですが私たちは両方にしました。USBかAirDropどちらかでもらえます。朝日が綺麗で、地球が丸いって感じられる写真、動画で感動しました。顔の写りは置いといて。。
トータル8万くらいはかかりましたが満足です。
そして少しすると名前が呼ばれてバスへ乗り込み、ホテルへは9:30頃には着いていましたのでよかったです。
帰りに行きと同じドライバーさんへチップを渡します。若い女の子2人組がチップを渡さず帰っていくと
呆れた顔でその子達を見つめていましたので、渡した方がいいかと思います。
普段は高所恐怖症ですがこれは別物でした。
命がけですが、私達夫婦はやってよかった！って感じでした。見たことのない、経験したことのないものです。運が良かったのか優しい日本語話せる男性でしたし、気にかけて声もたくさんかけてくださり、最初から色んな話をしてくださり、また来てね、と言うような感じでしたのでトータルで満足です。

It was the most fun activity I've experienced in Hawaii so far! (Personally) There was one staff member who spoke Japanese and was very friendly. The rest of the staff primarily spoke English, and all explanations were in English, but they communicated well with gestures, so it was not a problem at all! There were lockers and transportation available, which was great! There is a set pickup time, but there was a slight delay (typical overseas timing), but they do come to pick you up, so it's all good! If you're worried, it might be a good idea to call.

When I inquired during the application process, I was told there would be no Japanese staff on-site, which made me anxious. However, there were Japanese versions of the consent forms available. The driver for the transfer was kind, and although the local staff explained things in English, I managed to get by (laughs). I thought I could just mimic the other participants for how to ride, and I ended up skiing last every time. It became a wonderful memory.

The moment I jumped out of the Cessna was thrilling. It felt amazing while falling, it was the best! However, since I get motion sickness, I felt nauseous after the parachute opened, so I couldn't enjoy the scenery much and missed the ground.

We visited with four adults, all over 20 years old. Although it was a morning course, horseback riding while overlooking the beautiful coastline of North Shore was absolutely fantastic. Our group consisted only of our family of four, but there were two support staff members, and it was no problem even for those who were mostly beginners. The riding time and course distance were just right, without any excess or deficiency. However, the restrooms are basic, so it's advisable to take care of that beforehand.

What an experience! This tour is definitely worth it. The boat only takes out a max of 6 people which allows for more cage time and less crowds. The cage was plenty big for everyone to see and not feel cramped. We had sharks around us the entire time we were in the water and the water was so clear it was quite the experience. The crew was awesome and very knowledgeable about not only sharks but whales as well. We were able to stop on our way back into harbor and watch the whales for a little bit. Overall such a great experience, highly recommend!

Skydiving itself was very enjoyable, and it provided a sense of freedom and accomplishment beyond my expectations.

I believe it was a partner company of Veltra, but the driver who picked us up at the Hyatt in the morning was Japanese and spoke English. He was very arrogant and had a commanding tone that didn't quite match the vibe of Hawaii.

When we arrived at the airport, I realized he was the only one at that company who could speak Japanese. It seemed like he was relied upon by many people, and since Japanese people tend to be quite reserved overseas, he seemed to be getting a bit carried away. I have studied abroad in America, so I can speak English, but others were in a situation where they could understand but not speak, so they seemed to listen to him unconditionally. He kept insisting that a tip was necessary for the return ride, which felt somewhat unpleasant.

Other than that, I had a lot of fun and think it was an interesting experience in my life. Thank you.

The atmosphere on the tour bus was not very good... The guy who picked us up was nice, but I couldn't hear any of his explanations at all; it was really hard to hear him. Yet, his attitude was quite big.

As a result, my first skydiving experience was nerve-wracking, but it was really amazing! The staff who jumped with us were so encouraging that I felt completely at ease! This feeling is something only those who have experienced skydiving can understand, so I hope everyone gets to see that view and try skydiving at least once! By the way, I already want to do it again!

I was excited to go on this event. My excitement was well rewarded. On the way out we got a bonus of seeing a whole group of humpback whales breaching high in the air!!! At this point I felt my money was already a good investment!
The sharks did not disappoint either!! At least 20 of them circled our boat and cage while we got great views! Captain Caleo is a super guy and excellent at steering this tour perfectly
I would recommend this tour to all my friends!
Oh and we saw dolphins on the way back!!

I experienced it in February. It was said that long sleeves and long pants are best for winter, but it seemed fine even in short sleeves and shorts at the moment of jumping, as it was just cold at that moment.

Also, it was raining at the meeting point on the day, so I thought it might be canceled, but it was sunny at the location, so I think it's best to head to the meeting point anyway.

One of the activities I wanted to try at least once in my lifetime, and it was my first attempt on my third trip to Hawaii.

On the day of the activity, there were clouds, and we had to wait about an hour longer than scheduled, but after that, it cleared up and we were able to fly.

We started with a brief lecture, then split into several teams to board a small airplane, ascend to the designated altitude, and then dive with our paired instructors.

As we ascended in the small airplane, my heart raced with excitement as the altitude increased, but I was captivated by the beautiful scenery outside.

When the airplane door opened, we jumped out in an instant, experiencing about one minute of free fall, followed by a five-minute sky journey with the parachute.

The first feeling I experienced was an exhilarating sensation I had never felt before.

I heard that we were falling at a speed of about 200 km/h, but experiencing that speed with my own body was an incredibly stimulating experience that I don't usually have.

Once the parachute opened, I was able to slowly enjoy the magnificent views of Hawaii.

It was a brief time, but it was the best activity filled with various emotions!

There are joys that words cannot express, but I definitely think you should experience it at least once!

一生に一度はやってみたいアクティビティの1つで、3回目のハワイ旅行にして初挑戦でした。
当日は、雲が広がっており予定の時間より1時間程待ち時間がありましたが、その後何とか晴れて飛ぶことが出来ました。
最初に簡単なレクチャーがあり、数チームに別れて小型飛行機に乗り込み所定の高度まで上昇、ペアのインストラクターとダイビングという流れです。
小型飛行機で上昇中は高度が上がっていくにつれてドキドキしますが、外の景色を見ることができ、景色の綺麗さに夢中になりました。
飛行機のドアが開くとあっという間に飛び出しフリーフォールが約1分、パラシュートで約5分の空の旅でした。
まず感じたのは味わったことのない爽快感でした。
約200km程の速度で落下してるそうなのですが、生身の体で200kmの速度を体感する事は普段ない経験でしたのでとても刺激的でした。
パラシュートが開くとそこからはハワイの優大な景色をゆっくりと楽しむ事が出来ます。
あっという間の時間でしたがその中で色々な感動が湧いてくる最高のアクティビティです!!
他にも言葉では表しきれない楽しさがありますが、是非一度体験して味わって見て欲しいと思います。

I jumped for my birthday celebration! The instructor was cheerful and full of energy as we boarded the Cessna. There was just a curtain-like door. As we ascended, I heard some rustling behind me, and before I knew it, one or two people jumped out in no time. When we reached the exit, it was 3, 2, 1, and without any hesitation, we took off... I had the best time! By the way, you absolutely should record a video. It became a birthday celebration like no other. I will definitely jump again!

One of my biggest fears is a shark. The idea of this excursion terrified me but When in Rome, right? Hawaii is the perfect place to face your fears and do something you’d never normally do. The guys on the boat helped ease my fears and made the experience so incredible. I would recommend this excursion to anyone. We saw 6 sharks at one time and being that close to a shark was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. We spent about 40 min in the water and it was the perfect amount of time. The fact that only a small number of people can go on the excursion means more time in the water. This is a must do on the North Shore! Bring your GoPro!

I felt nervous during the ascent in the Cessna, but the instructors helped me relax and made it fun, so I was able to prepare myself. From the moment we took off, it was just an incredibly enjoyable time! The photographer who flew with us gave various pose instructions, and I mimicked them, even holding hands with the photographer and spinning around. I looked out at the endless sky and even pretended to eat the clouds. There were so many things to do in just one minute. Once we were under the parachute, I was allowed to steer and enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace. I thought it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but after doing it once, I wanted to fly again and again.

セスナ機で上昇している時間は緊張しましたが、インストラクターさん達がリラックスして盛り上げてくれるの、あーもう大丈夫だ、と覚悟ができます。
飛んだ瞬間からは、ただただ楽しい時間でした！
一緒に飛んだカメラマンが色んなポーズを指示してくるので、それをマネしたり、カメラマンと手をつないでクルクル回ったり。
果てしなく続く空を見渡してみたり、雲を食べてみたり。と１分間でいろんなことができます。
パラシュートになってからは操縦もさせてくれて、ゆっくりと景色を楽しめます。
一生に一度と思ってましたが、一度やってしまうと何度でも飛びたくなります。

All Around Great Time

This shark cage tour was awesome. Started off the morning with a nice north shore cruise to the cage drop spot. The crew is very laid back and give you all the information you need along the way. Very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all and any questions we had. Spent a good chunk of time in the cage and saw a few different sharks able to collect some pretty sweet GoPro footage. Even saw some whales along the way and you are able to hear them singing underwater which is pretty cool. The boat is spacious and comfortable and they provide bottled water. They also have a fresh water hose so you can rinse off when you are done in the cage. This tour was 100% safe and professionally ran. I would recommend it for anyone looking to have a good time for a few hours on the island.

To secure time for horseback riding, the sightseeing time in places like Haleiwa felt quite speedy. It gave the impression of sticking to a strict schedule and moving briskly, so for those with children or who want to take it easy, it might be better to focus on one of the plans when booking the tour. Horseback riding was very enjoyable! It seems that horses have their own personalities, as some didn't always listen. (There were horses that kept stopping to look at the grass for food… haha)

乗馬の時間を確保する為、ハレイワなどの観光時間は割とスピーディな印象でした。
時間厳守でキビキビ行動していく…という印象でしたので、お子さん連れやのんびりまったりしたい方は、どちらかのプランに絞ってツアー予約される方がいいかもしれません。
乗馬はとても楽しかったです！
馬も性格があるらしく、なかなか言うことを聞いてくれない馬もいるようでした。(餌の草ばかりに目がいってしまい、何度も足を止める馬がいました…笑)

On February 5, 2020, I experienced this with two juniors. Honestly, it was the most fun and memorable activity of my trip to Hawaii!

At first, I was scared... haha.

Once you jump, your life changes! I highly recommend it to everyone!
