Before it started, I was quite nervous. The instructor was friendly and cheerful, chatting to help ease my anxiety.
We took off in a Cessna, but it was quite cold up in the air.
When I jumped, I was so caught up in the moment that I couldn't think of anything, but I wasn't scared.
While flying, it was hard to breathe, but once the parachute opened, I felt so good that I could sense the vastness of the Earth. The ocean and islands of Hawaii were incredibly beautiful. I was deeply moved.
I highly recommend that everyone experience this at least once!!!

始まる前は、かなり緊張していました。インストラクターのかたは、気さくで明るく、不安を取り除くようにいろいろおしゃべりしてくれていました。
セスナで空へ向かいましたが、上空はかなり寒かったです。
飛び降りるときは、何も考えられないままで、夢中でしたが、怖さはなかったです。
飛んでいるときは、息が苦しかったけれど、パラシュートが開いてからは、地球の大きさを感じられるほど、気持ちがよく、ハワイの海、島は、とってもとってもきれいでした。大感激です。

Last year, I had a wonderful experience riding in the North Shore canyon, so I ended up doing canyon riding again this time. My 10-year-old grandson also wants to do it again next year. This was the first time he rode alone, and he seemed to really enjoy it, even wanting to go again on the same day. Riding in the canyon must have been the best feeling for him. Next year, I plan to have him ride in the canyon plus by the seaside.

One of the highlights of this tour is that you can enjoy sightseeing along the highway on the way to North Shore, which was a lot of fun. At the end of the ride, the staff from Happy Trails take family photos, so it's definitely a good idea to bring a camera.

In any case, I can't miss this riding plan next year. It's a shame I can't convey how I feel about this experience.

　昨年、ノースショワーの渓谷乗馬を楽しく体験できたので、今回もまた渓谷乗馬をしてしまいました。
　１０歳になる孫も、来年もやりたいとのこと、何せ今回初めて一人で乗馬をさせたのですが、とても気に入ったのか当日もう一回やりたいというほど、渓谷を乗馬することは孫にとって最高の気分だったのかもしれません。
　来年は、渓谷プラス海辺の乗馬をさせたいと思っています。
　このツアーの特徴は、ノースショアーに行くまでの間、街道沿いの観光もできるのでとっても楽しかったです。
　乗馬の最後にハッピートレイのスタッフが家族写真をとってくれるので必ずカメラは持っていったほうがいいですね。
　ともかく来年もこの乗馬プランははずせません。
　この気持ち状況を伝えられないのが残念です。

The place was about an hour away from Honolulu but that wasn't problem. The website said to be there 30 min early and we were but the horse handlers said that wasn't neccessary. They were short handed and we ended up waiting more than an hour to ride but the place was majestic so we weren't bothered by the wait. The guides prepared us and were concerned about everyones safety. The ride was perfect. They guides were professional and took time to take our pictures while we were on the beach. I would do it again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii.. It was a great family experience.

I made a reservation.
However, I was unsure about canceling until the day before.
The night before, various thoughts crossed my mind, and I couldn't sleep well.

My family and I enjoy horseback riding but this one was not up to par. I booked a private lesson and was told we would be able to do more with the horses beside just walking them and also would not be a nose to tail ride but that's exactly what it was. We were told many things but none were true. A couple of the horses did not like having another horse so close to it's tail so they would constantly kick backwards. You're only on the beach for a short time to cross to the dusty path were you spend most of the time until you cross back over the beach to go back to the club. Our guide was also an unpleasant women who never spoke unless it was to tell us what we were doing wrong. It was definetely not worth the money we spent and would not go back.

I didn't have a friend to fly with, so I participated alone this time! I'm not good with roller coasters, but to be honest, this was way less scary than a roller coaster. It was exhilarating! However, I did feel quite nauseous after the parachute opened. I ordered the DVD, and when I had a screening with my friends at the hotel, it was a lot of fun!

Horseback riding has always been a really fun pastime for me, and I especially thought after seeing the ad on your site that this particular ride seemed different and unique. And it was!

The horses themselves are polo horses....and wow...are they beautiful. Very different from most ranch horses i have seen...and the ride itself...all I have ever been on have been on ranches along dusty trails or in the woods...THIS WAS ON THE BEACH...RIGHT BY THE WATER...IN HAWAII!! I honestly think I don't need to say anymore! On the beach...in Hawaii!

I choose this horsebackriding venue because of the website which stated they are not your typical trail ride. According to the ad we would not be riding nose to tail - that's exactly what we had to do--- also the ad stated we would be free to ride the horses to our ability-absolutely not, we were not allowed out of the line or to go faster than a walk or to go ahead of the guide-who was a most unpleasant woman. Also the beach part of the ride was very limited. The only high marks I give are to the horses!! They were not your typical trail horses. Overall I was disappointed, especially considering the high cost.

It was my first experience and I was very nervous, but as the instructor said, I was able to fly like a bird without feeling weightless. Falling from 4,200 meters at a speed of 200 km/h was thrilling. If you pay an additional fee (USD 188), a personal photographer will capture the entire experience from takeoff to landing on DVD and in about 100 photos. If you request something like "Please take a photo that captures the curvature of the Earth," they will likely accommodate that. Before flying, there is a few minutes of an image video and a brief lesson, but you will sign a contract stating that they are not responsible for any accidents, so the decision to participate is at your own risk. If you have any health concerns, it is recommended to see a doctor beforehand.

June 25, 2011: My first and probably last skydiving! I want to praise myself for doing well... Anyway, 1. Fear of heights doesn't really matter 2. There’s no G-force like on a roller coaster, and you don’t feel that floating sensation 3. The instructor is reliable, and you can experience it without any anxiety 4. The rapid descent changes the air pressure quickly, so your ears might hurt a bit 5. I think those who participated should definitely order the DVD 6. For those who haven't experienced it yet, those who are hesitating, and those who are unsure, I highly recommend participating (please consider the risks carefully). In December, I'm going to Hawaii with my husband, and he has also expressed his intention to participate, lol. It was so much fun!! Thank you to all the instructors!!

Though when I went in the cage, I wasn't scared at all, but fascinated by the beautiful creatures that sorrounded us. Just a tip; bring motion sickness pills. P.s. I'm not scared of sharks anymore.

I had a great time on this snorkel trip. The North Shore has always been my favorite part of Oahu, so when I saw a tour that was located here I had to take it. Haleiwa is so cute and I just ended up making a day of it enjoying the surrounding area too.

and the snorkeling was so cool. so many things to see, I didn't know where to look half the time! loved it.

We participated as a couple. My wife was initially anxious about joining, but once we got into the enclosure, she found the sharks to be beautiful and realized they were a safe species that doesn't attack humans, so she enjoyed the unique experience.

Even though small fish were swimming nearby, the sharks showed no signs of wanting to eat them, which might have been a bit disappointing in terms of excitement. We both talked about wanting to see more dangerous sharks like great white sharks next time.

We brought a disposable underwater camera, but it was difficult to take pictures because of the waves. I wish we had bought a waterproof case for a digital camera so we could take a lot of pictures while looking at the screen.

We participated as a couple. It was my husband's wish to join, and we had a really great time! I definitely recommend the course that has the longest airtime and goes the highest!

It gets cold up there. Also, the belts are quite tight, so I recommend wearing clothing that has some length around the shoulders and thighs. I wore a short-sleeve T-shirt and a long-sleeve shirt, but I ended up with light marks on my arms. If you have long hair, make sure to bring a hair tie! My hair is about shoulder length, and since I forgot a hair tie, it got really tangled after the flight.

You can land on both feet on the grass. I noticed that a few men landed on their bottoms (including my husband), so it might depend on the weight distribution with the instructor.

The mention of "long wait times" seems to refer to the editing time for those who requested DVDs. Still, during our time, there were 10 participants and 5 DVDs, and we were able to return to Waikiki around 12:30.

私は半袖Ｔ＆長袖シャツでしたが、腕の付け根に軽く跡がつきました。
髪の長い方はヘアゴムを！私は肩ぐらいの長さですがヘアゴムを忘れたため、飛び終わった後は髪が絡まりまくって大変でした。。

芝生地に両足で立って着地させてもらえます。
見ていると男性はお尻からのかたが数人いたので（うちの夫も）、インストラクターさんへの加重にもよるのかもしれません。

「待ち時間が長い」とあるのは、ＤＶＤを申し込んだ方々の編集時間待ちのようです。
それでも私たちのときは参加者10人、ＤＶＤ5人で、12時半ごろにはワイキキに戻れました。

The worst thing about the trip was I had to go home. I did the 7 am tour and the staff was great. The boat was nice and clean everything was way above board. I bought the video and I watched as soon as I got back home on the mainland and I still cant believe the beautiful sharks and how many of them were in the waters it was not what I expected but thankful. If you are reading my post you better do this.. One of the best tours I went on while I was in Hawaii...My last comment I cant wait to do it again someday..

We participated as a family of two.
There were a total of five participants, which made it feel very homey, and we had a great time in the wagon.
The guide was also entertaining.
This tree, Dole, Haleiwa, canyon horseback riding, garlic shrimp lunch, turtle watching, and arriving at the hotel around 3 PM.
It was my first time horseback riding, and I was a bit anxious, but I was able to ride for an hour and a half, and by the end, I got used to the horse and had a lot of fun.
I had always wanted to try the garlic shrimp from the North Shore, and my wish came true. It was very delicious and impressive.
They adjusted the sightseeing times here and there, allowing us to have a meaningful day. We were also able to do some shopping!
It was truly more enjoyable than I expected. Thank you very much.

My new husband and I booked a private ride with the Hawaii Polo Club while on our honeymoon. I've been on several other guided horseback trail rides in the past, but this was a little different. For one thing, the horses are actually polo-horses, not the standard "follow-the-leader" horses of a typical ranch. We thought we could hike to the waterfall and then go snorkeling. From what I had read that would be a possibility. Both were morning options. He parked centrally then we walked to meet him. For the price I should not have expected to be taken to each destination I suppose, but I did. Still we had a good time and swimming in the waterfall was GREAT

The usual choice for horseback riding was Kualoa Ranch, but since the reviews for their horseback riding weren't very good, I searched online and found this ranch that offers a tour with transportation included. I had been using Alan for optional activities in Hawaii, so I made a reservation.
The horses here are very smart, and even beginners can enjoy horseback riding with peace of mind. They walk at a very leisurely pace, which might be a bit unsatisfying for experienced riders, but I was able to take photos with one hand while enjoying the scenery in the mountains.
The trail goes through some very enchanting trees, and the view of the North Shore from the top of the mountain was absolutely beautiful.
I think it's definitely an experience worth having when you visit Hawaii.

It was fun coming down with a parachute while looking at the beautiful sea.

However, there is a lot of waiting time afterward, so if you're short on time, it might be better to go by rental car. I think I waited for about an hour and a half.

We gathered locally and took the bus. We went from the hotel to Ala Moana Center, transferred to bus number 52, and I made sure to tell the driver "Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor" to confirm where to get off, arriving just in time for our meeting. We waited quite a while for the bus at Ala Moana Center. There was only one other group of Japanese people besides us, and everyone else on the boat was foreign, making it quite international. As I saw on Alan Net, we were handed a file with notes written in Japanese, but all the explanations were in English. However, they demonstrated how to enter the water with gestures, so if you watch, you can manage. We moved out to sea for about 10 to 15 minutes, and the waves were quite rough. I get motion sickness easily, and even though I took motion sickness medicine, I still felt quite nauseous. We entered the cage four at a time. I was really looking forward to it, so even though I felt unwell, I stayed underwater longer than others, hoping to finally see a shark. Unfortunately, while there were a few small fish nearby, I only caught a glimpse of a small baby shark passing by far below, and I hardly saw any sharks at all, so I ended up getting a sticker and a refund... But the staff were very nice, so I definitely plan to try again next time. On the way back, we strolled around Haleiwa before heading home.

私達以外の日本人は1組だけで、他は皆船は外国人で国際豊かでした。
アランネットで見たとおり、注意事項など日本語で書かれたファイルを渡されるくらいで説明は全部英語でしたが、ジェスチャーで海への入り方を説明されるので、見てればなんとかなります。
沖まで10分~15分位まで移動し、波も中々の揺れで、乗り物に弱い私は酔い止め飲んでも結構酔いました。
檻の中には4人づつ入りました。
楽しみにしていたので、具合悪い中でも念願のサメに会えると張り切って人より長く海にもぐってましたが、何匹か小魚は近くにいたものの、残念ながらサメはかなり深く遠くの下の方に小さく子サメ？が通り過ぎただけでほとんど見れず、ステッカーをもらって返金になりました・・・
でもスタッフの方々はとてもいい人たちだったので、また次回、絶対挑戦しようと思ってます。
帰りはハレイワを散策してから帰りました。

This was an awesome ride on the beach. And YES you DO ride on the beach. The area is beautiful and could see the whales playing in the ocean as we rode. The white sands of the beaches against the turquoise water was breathtaking.

I took the private ride and it is definitely not a standard trail ride. The polo horses were very well behaved and easy to ride. I recommend this to anyone who loves horses and has always wanted to ride on the beach in Hawaii.

Would definitely book this again when back on the island.

We have never been whale watching before - we loved this first time experience! Captain Ryan and crew were great! They not only managed to help us see several whales (one baby just kept breaching - we have great pictures!) but we also were treated to turtles and spinner dolphins! When they lowered their microphone into the water and we heard the whales talking - it was just a huge bonus to a wonderful trip! We will definitely look them up if we get back to Oahu!!
