I signed up for a 2-hour horseback riding course. Since I am not Japanese, the explanations were primarily in English, but they provided important parts in simple Japanese. Contrary to what I thought, the actual riding time was not short; after a brief video explanation, we set off immediately and were able to ride for almost the full 2 hours, enjoying the stunning views of both the sea and the mountains.

There was an explanation on how to use the reins, but the horse was well-trained and did not act up or stray from the course. Only a waist pouch type for carrying belongings is allowed (there are rentals available), so I recommend participants who are just experiencing horseback riding to come almost empty-handed. (Bags cannot be brought along and need to be placed in a $5 locker.)

Items like GoPro cameras cannot be hung around the neck. However, if you can attach them to your helmet or wear them on your arm, it might be possible to record videos. Photography was allowed at any time during the ride, as long as you did not stare at the screen.

日本人ではありませんので基本的には英語での説明でしたが，重要な部分は簡単な日本語で説明してくれました．
実際に乗っている時間は短いのかとおもいきや，簡単なビデオでの説明後すぐに出発，ほぼ2時間乗りっぱなしで海・山ともに最高の景色をみることができました．
手綱の使い方の説明がありますが馬のほうが慣れており，暴れたりコースを外れることはありませんでした．
荷物の持ち込みが腰に巻くタイプのポシェットのみ可（貸し出しもあります）ので乗馬のみ体験の方はほぼ手ぶらでの参加をおすすめします．（バックなどは持ち込めず5ドルのロッカーにいれる必要あり）
goproなども首に下げるかたちでは不可です．ヘルメットに装着したり腕につけられたら動画も可能かと思います．
写真撮影は画面を凝視しないという条件で乗馬中いつでも可能でした．

I was anxious since I had no experience with horseback riding, but I enjoyed it very much. After watching a simple video explanation, I got on the horse right away, and the horse was so smart that I didn't really have to give any commands. Since almost everything is in English on-site, I couldn't understand the tour conductor's speech, but there was a Japanese video for the initial explanation, so it was fine. It's an experience that you can't have in Japan, so I definitely recommend it! We were a family of four (with preschool children), and we had a great time! The locals were very unique and kind, making it easy to enjoy ourselves!

Walking on the vast green areas like in the photo is rare, and you mostly proceed along mountain paths. I only saw one good movie filming location (which wasn't particularly striking), so if you're expecting movie-related attractions, a bus tour of the filming locations might be a good option.

Our family enjoyed the UTV tour of Kualoa Ranch. Our guides, Raymond and Tony were great. Raymond with his lame jokes and Tony was great with the kids. The scenery at Kualoa Ranch is amazing, the ocean, the mountains and a filming location of many movies. Driving the UTV was fun for the adults and the kids enjoyed the bumpy ride on the off road tracks. Plenty of other activity options at Kualoa Ranch if UTV is not your thing.

I was quite satisfied as the tour lasted about two hours. I got to see stunning views and enjoyed visiting movie filming locations. The only downside was that the person at the reception didn't come to pick us up at the hotel, so it took a while to board the bus.

Words or pictures cannot describe the beauty from this trip. The guide was also very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and the checking in process was smooth.

My only disappointment was the transportation to the hotel. The driver was rude and unhappy. He also made numerous phone calls and was talking on what appeared to be personal matters for over an hour of our drive which felt very unprofessional and even unsafe. I contacted the company to share my experience and I appreciate they responded immediately. A bus of many tourists on vacation should not have to listen to their driver complaining about work. On top of that he never even greeted any of the passengers onboard - definitely not reflective of the drivers of any of my other excursions . Overall, experience at the valley was unbelievable. The UTVs are the way to go.

The buggy activity was thrilling, and the course was filled with breathtaking spots in both the mountains and the sea, making it absolutely fantastic. With a solid two hours of riding, I felt very satisfied.

When I checked in on-site, I found that it was fine to arrive at the buggy check-in location 15 minutes before. Since there was some time before we started, I was able to play on the beach across the road, dipping my feet in the water and building sandcastles.

The return bus also arrived about 10 minutes early, and it felt like the roll call was starting.

This is my second time visiting Kualoa Ranch. Last time, I participated in a 4WD tour. While it might be fun for the driver, I felt that the passengers didn't have as much excitement. This time, I joined a tour on an E-Mountain Bike, which involved riding electric bicycles. It was a self-guided tour where we explored various locations, including movie filming sites, and the exhilaration of riding through nature was fantastic.
