We had to U-turn few mins late since GPS couldn’t find the Wailua Marina location - Waze app had “Wailua River State Park” but it took us down a tiny steep road... luckily we arrived on time for the 11am tour. Had great photos along the way! Enjoyed the boat ride; aside from the humidity and brown muddy water due to the rain night before...bring a fan or baby wipes. We saw 2 kayakers and 2 paddle boarders. Nice boat attendees and Hawaiian musicians. A lovely, less than 2 hr tour with lots of time to explore rest of the island! Mahalo!

It was definitely worth the time to visit the Fern Grotto. It was enjoyable and we even got a bit of Hawaiian history!

We enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious! Everyone was so nice. My 3yr old enjoyed watching the show, it's very entertaining. Definitely worth going!!!

Beautiful location, great food and fantastic performances of Hawaiian culture! The entire evening was very well organized and the people so gracious and accommodating. We Loved it and recommend it highly!

We had a great day at Luau. It was loud in area while we eat maybe they don't need to

play and sing all the dinner time. Great food and drink.

This was our first flight in a small plane my wife and I found it was a fantastic experience there was only the two of us plus Harry our pilot who was brilliant with his knowledge the views over Kauai were brilliant we really came off the flight buzzing. The whole Process was Very well organised from start to finish

Very good for what it was billed as. Good food, great dancing, maybe a bit Disneyesque. The fire knife dancer was a bit into himself, milking the audience for extra applause for his displays of skill. Dinner and show were well run, smooth and essentially seamless. Dinner seating was very good. Seats at the show venue, while padded, became a bit hard and narrow after awhile. I suppose it's the tradeoff required to get that many people within a good viewing distance of the show. Worth seeing again.

Great night. The hosts were warm and welcoming. I loved walking around the gardens.

Attended with my wife on our honeymoon. My first Luau, and I loved it! Mr. Smith is a super chill dude, the food was great, and the show was awesome too!

It was very busy. Good food but my gluten free meal was brought 20 minutes after I was full from the salads provided. However I ate the pork , chicken from the buffet style feast and food was well labelled so I had no reaction to the food I ate considering I am allergic to wheat. Very nice staff. Show was good. I wished there was more history and traditional dance wear. The high pitched whale noises the one lady made hurt my ears for every song. I wished the warrior dance was longer as I enjoyed the drums and seeing less women dancers hehe. The fire show was the best part. Thanks so much smith family!!

We attended the Smith Family Garden Luau for our 13th Wedding Anniversary. This experience was outstanding and would do it again and again. The food was amazing, the people were friendly, and the show was educational.

We had a good time, but if there was one thing I would change would be the ending. It felt like the beginning it had a lot of excitement but the end it all went down. Great customer service by the way except from one of the venders selling in graved rocks.

Dinner was good, hot no breeze because of how patios is positioned, show was good but because it being under a metal building kind of took the authentic in Hawaii feel away. I think having one out doors with a pretty back drop is the way to go

The food was alright, but the show was amazing! A very nice facility and staff. The train ride was fun and informative. The show was the best part of the night though.

Cave of the Cedars sightseeing boat tour <half-day / English guide>
During the 20-minute boat ride, there are hula dances and interactive dance activities, which are enjoyable. You will stay at the site for about 30-40 minutes. The spiritual atmosphere was nice.
I participated in the 9:30 AM tour, and the timing was just right for lunch afterward.

片道20分の船中で、フラダンスや参加型のダンスがあり、楽しめます。現地も滞在30-40分でしょうか。スピリチュアルな雰囲気で良かったです。
午前9:30のツアーに参加し、終わったらランチでちょうどいい時間配分でした。

I thought opportunities to ride in a Cessna are rare, so even though I don't understand much English, I signed up considering the time constraints. The office is a short walk from the airport. When I went to the reception, they confirmed my reservation and explained the course. I weighed in while carrying my luggage, and when it was time, we boarded the plane. Everyone on board wore headsets and checked their microphones. You can see the entire island and enjoy the beautiful scenery, but it shakes in the cloudy parts, so motion sickness medication is a must! Even my friend, who usually doesn't get motion sick, was feeling quite groggy by the time we landed. Still, I felt it was a great experience that I would only have once in a lifetime. It was fun!

セスナに乗る機会なんてそうそうないと思い、英語はあまり分かりませんが時間との兼ね合いも有り申し込みしました。空港から少し歩いた所にオフィスがあります。受付に行くと予約者の確認とコースの説明をされ、荷物を持ったまま体重測定をし、時間になったら乗り込みます。機内では全員ヘッドセット？を装着しマイクの確認をします。島の全貌が良くわかり、美しい景色を堪能出来ますが、雲の部分で揺れるので酔い止めは必須です！！普段酔わない友達も降りる頃にはかなりグロッキーになってしまっていました。
それでも一生に一回の良い体験をしたと思いました。楽しかったです。

My wife and I attended the Smith Family Luau after the cruise to the fern grotto. The entire experience was amazing. The Smith family themselves were welcoming and gracious, the staff was easy to talk to and helpful. The food was out of this world good, especially for a large buffet. Even a downpour couldn't stop us from having a fantastic time. I recommend the luau to everyone and anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

Enjoyed this luau so much, we came back to see it again! Must see while visiting Kauai!

Great food, amazing fire juggling, and HUGE grounds - perfect for families with kids who need to run around. Lots of animals (peacocks, goats, etc.) for the kids to see too.

This was a very throw back to the past type of experience. Simple fun, nice people, old fashioned hospitality. The river is in full sun, would not recommend kayak option..not enough interesting flora along the way. Hula and Hawaiian music on the boat ride fun. Fern Grotto was devastated in 1992 and a shadow of it's former glory. Guide gave good local information in an entertaining sort of presentation. I'd take grandma and grandpa or very young kids on this tour.

My wife and I both enjoyed the luau at Smiths. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are well maintained. The friendly family service provided by the Smiths was first rate. The food at the luau was incredible and plentiful. Open bar lasted about 1 1/2 hours featuring "mai tais" and beer. The luau show had a very real feel to, not like a "Hollywood" production and was fantastic. They accepted the Veltra voucher without any question. Loved the experience. Thanks to the Smith family and Veltra.

Didn't expect the tropical garden setting. Didn't expect dinner with live music and then the show.
Pleasantly surprised at the subtle differences to others I've been too. Made me sit up and actually really take notice.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything and would recommend this Luau by far.

It was great to do hula dancing together on the return boat; everyone was friendly. The cost performance is outstanding.

帰りの船の中で、みんなでフラダンスなど、フレンドリーでよかったです。コストパフォーマンス抜群ですね。
