I was a bit anxious because there were few Japanese people on the tour, but the cute Ali-chan kindly explained everything! I was excited to see a manta ray, and we encountered one fairly quickly after starting snorkeling! It was impressive, yet I felt it was really cute! At first, I was so excited to see the manta ray that I forgot about the cold, but since it was late January, it gradually got colder towards the end, and I couldn't stop shivering after getting back on the boat. However, it was a valuable experience to see a manta ray for the first time!

ツアーは日本人が少なく不安になりましたが、かわいいアリちゃんが優しく説明してくれました！
マンタに会えるかドキドキでしたが、シュノーケリング開始から割とすぐにマンタに会えました！迫力があって、でもすごくかわいく感じました！
最初はマンタに会えて興奮して忘れていましたが、1月下旬ということもあり、終わりのほうはだんだん寒くなりボートに上がってから震えが止まりませんでした。でも初めてマンタに会えて貴重な体験になりました！

On the day of the tour, while heading to Mauna Kea with 13 participants, a female participant requested a stop at a lava cave along the route. Our tour guide, Mr. Konno, made a stop at a beautiful beach as well, which was a lucky start. The sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea (4,200m) was magnificent. On the way back, we enjoyed stargazing around 3,000m, where we could see beautiful stars with the naked eye. Additionally, Mr. Konno provided clear explanations about the stars, making it a fun tour.

当日、１３名の参加者とマウナケアに行く途中、参加者の女性から経路途中の溶岩洞窟への立ち寄りを依頼され、ツアー担当の今野さんが綺麗なビーチとセットで立ち寄り、ラッキーで始まり、本題のマウナケア山頂（4,200M）からのサンセットは、素晴らしかった。帰路、3,000M付近で星空観賞をしたが肉眼でも綺麗な星が見られ、更に、今野さんから分かりやすい星の説明を受け、楽しいツアーでした。

Totally awesome experience, did the moonlight snorkel with the manta rays. The crew was awesome it was a nice small size of 6 people and such a great experience. They swim so close to you and are so incredibly cool

The summit was closed for a week due to bad weather, but it finally opened on the afternoon of the tour, which was lucky. The beautiful sunset from the summit and the starry sky, along with the guide's enjoyable explanations of the stars and constellations, made for a very satisfying tour.

悪天候で山頂が一週間クローズしていて、ツアー当日の午後にやっと山頂がオープン、ラッキーでした。
山頂からの綺麗なサンセット、満天の星空にガイドさんの楽しい星空と星座の説明で大満足のツアーでした。

Driving to the summit of Mauna Kea, which is over 4,000 meters high and taller than Mount Fuji, is truly convenient and helpful for those without climbing experience. The foothills were cloudy, but near the summit, it turned into a sea of clouds, and the sunset sinking into it along with the sky changing colors was incredibly beautiful.

Stargazing in complete darkness before the moon rose was a first-time experience for me, where I could see the Milky Way, shooting stars, the International Space Station moving more slowly than shooting stars, and even the rare sight of the red flames from a volcanic crater.

The guide's explanation of the constellations using a laser pointer was also enjoyable.

富士山より高い4000メートル級のマウナケア山山頂に自動車で行くことができるのは、登山未経験者には本当に楽で助かります。山麓は曇っていましたが、山頂付近は雲海となって、そこへ沈んでいく夕日と刻々と色を変える空は最高に美しかったです。
真っ暗な中での星空観測は、月が上がる前の時間帯で天の川、流れ星、流れ星よりゆっくり動く国際宇宙ステーション、めったに見られないらしい火山の噴火口の赤い炎も観ることができ、人生初の体験ばかりでした。
ガイドさんのレーザーポイントを使った星座の説明も楽しかったです。

Fantastic experience!! I loved the shorty wetsuits as it was cool at night. Water was quite choppy, but still happy the event was not cancelled. A few people did get motion sickness. 5 manta rays gave wonderful viewing.

Loved the trip. Our driver Chris was very knowledgable and funny. Food was great and time allotted for each site was perfect. I would highly recommend this tour.

I had a great time, over the clouds and under the stars. This is a must see in Hawaii.

The food was a big surprise. Fantastic! Way above what we expected. In addition to that, the glorious scenery, and the perfect sunset, we saw dolphins and whales. The staff was excellent, including our local Hawaiian musician Bula, and our very knowledgeable Hawaiian historian Mikaila. Highly recommended!

I am always Leary of organized tours but this one was an exception. Our guide Nick was exceptional. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, and well taken care of. He has done his homework and knows the history and the island well, showing us a lot of extra things along the way such as plants, historical notes etc. it was a long day but we enjoyed every minute and would recommend to anyone.

Best guided tour by far. Very professional-able to anticipate your needs and provided things you didn't even know you needed. Chris- the owner, and our guide for the night- was fantastic. His enthusiasm was contagious. Great company, great tour. Do it!

On the day, it was really windy and extremely cold...
But I got to see the snow in Hawaii, and the sunset was absolutely magical.
There were a few clouds, so I couldn't see all the stars, but our guide, Jin, kept trying until the end, and he was very considerate from start to finish. I was really satisfied!
However, you shouldn't underestimate the mountains in Hawaii during winter.

当日は風も強くてめっちゃくちゃ寒かった…
でも、ハワイの雪が見れたし、夕日はめちゃめちゃ幻想的でした。
ちょっと雲があったので星空は全部は見れなかったけど、ガイドの仁さんも最後までトライしてくださったし、最初から最後まで色々お気遣い頂いて、本当に満足でした♪
しかし、冬のハワイの山は舐めたらあかんσ(^◇^;)

When I checked the meeting place on Google Maps, it ended up being along H1, so I confirmed it at the hotel front desk and headed there cautiously. First, we drove to check the parking and location, and in the end, we walked from the Sheraton where we were staying to Keauhou Bay. It was about the size of a private beach, and we could easily reach it from the opposite side.

It was our first time kayaking, and as expected, we didn't make much progress at first, but the weather was really nice that day, and we were able to reach the cave safely! As mentioned in other comments, it's better to have sandals that won't come off or trekking shoes. Depending on the weather, there may be times when you can't reach the land, so it's best to bring them just in case. We only had beach sandals, but the guide said, "They float in water, so if you drop them, you can just pick them up, so it's not a problem."

I recommend getting a waterproof disposable camera sold on-site, as it allows you to take photos without worry. Also, my husband only got sunburned on the inside of his feet. It's best to be fully prepared for sun protection.

集合場所をGoogleMapで確認すると、H1沿いになってしまうのでホテルのフロントで確かめて慎重に向かいました。まずは車で行き駐車場や場所を確認し、結局は今回宿泊していたシェラトンから歩いてケアウホウ湾に行きました。プライベートビーチぐらいの大きさで反対側にいても問題なくたどり着ける距離でした。
カヤックは主人も私も初めてで、思った通りになかなか進まなかったりしましたが、この日は本当に天気が良く無事に洞窟までたどり着くことができました！
他の人のコメントにあったとおり、脱げないサンダルやトレッキング用シューズがあったほうが良いです。天候によっては陸地にいけないこともありますが、念のため持って行ったほうがよいです。私たちはビーチサンダルしかなかったのですが、ガイドのお兄さんが「水に浮くから落としても拾えるから問題ない」と言ってました。
現地で売ってる防水の使い捨てカメラがあると気兼ねなく写真を撮ることができるのでお勧めです。
あと、主人は足の内側だけ焼けてました。日焼け対策は万全にしておいたほうが良いです。

We had a great time on the morning whale watching cruise. The catamaran was large and comfortable. The crew was extremely knowledgeable. We saw a few whales and happened upon one bottle nose dolphin.

From the top of Mauna Kea you truly see forever. However, be prepared! At these heights it is also breath taking... that is, there is less air up there!! The guides were great and prepared you for the trip in every way. The dinner was good and the star gazing after coming half way back down was amazing.

I absolutely recommend this tour!! First of all, the tour guide was a wonderful Japanese person. I was amazed by their explanations of the sightseeing spots and their thoughtful interactions. They also gave various poses and advice for photos, allowing us to take many memorable pictures. The stargazing was a world I had never seen before, and it was so moving that I was brought to tears! If I have the chance to go again, I will definitely participate! Everyone, please join the stargazing tour and experience this wonderful world for yourselves!!

When it comes to tours on the Big Island, Mauna Kea is a must-see. My friend and I participated in the summit sunset tour and were very satisfied. It included warm clothing, a bento box, water, hot drinks, and cookies, which was very thoughtful. Our guide, Kon, was very calm and kind, and Macchan was truly a mood maker and reliable. Both of them were wonderfully attentive. The age group of participants was mostly in their 20s and 30s, creating a friendly atmosphere. The view from the summit of Mauna Kea was, of course, breathtaking, and I received a lot of energy from it. In January, there was still snow and it was cold, but since they had prepared proper cold weather gear, I had no worries and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was also convenient to stop by a supermarket on the way there and back. I highly recommend this tour for friends, families, and couples alike.

ハワイ島のツアーといえばマウナケア山は外せないと思います。私と友人は山頂サンセットツアーに参加してとても満足しました。防寒装備やお弁当、お水、暖かい飲み物とクッキーが付いていて、至れり尽くせりでした。ガイドのコンさんはとても穏やかで優しく、まっちゃんさんは本当にムードメーカーで頼もしい。二人とも気配りが素晴らしかったと思います。参加されてた年齢層は20〜30代が多く、和やかな雰囲気でした。マウナケア山頂の景色はもちろん圧巻で、パワーをたくさんもらいました。1月はまだ雪があり寒いですが、防寒対策がしっかり用意されていたので、心配なことは無く、しっかりとツアーを楽しみました。行きと帰りにスーパーに寄れたのも重宝しました。友人同士、家族、カップル、全てにオススメなツアーです。

I participated with my husband’s father and another person. Although it was far away, I was very moved to see the whales jumping. I hope to observe them from a closer distance next time.

遠くでしたがクジラのジャンプも見れとても感動しました。

The show was very nice and had a great atmosphere by the sea.

Watch the sunset at the summit of Mauna Kea! With excitement in my heart, the tour began.
The guide took various poses for photos against the sunset. During the stargazing, I was able to see stars that were even more beautiful than I expected, and lucky for me, I also saw shooting stars, which was incredibly thrilling.

マウナケア山頂でサンセットを！期待に胸を膨らませながら、ツアーが始まりました。
サンセットをバックにガイドさんがいろいろなポーズを写真撮影してくださいました。また、星空観測では、期待以上に綺麗な星が観ることができ、ラッキーなことに、流れ星も観られたし大興奮でした。

Fun filled 3 hour cruise. Great food, music, and tour. The crew were all exceptional. Within 3 minutes of leaving the dock the crew had already located 2 whales we could watch. Right before dinner, they located a manta ray as well. The crew also found another whale on the ride home. Great time and very family friendly.

I was able to catch a glimpse of it three times from a distance. However, it was too far away to capture in a photo, and it was just for a moment. Still, I enjoyed the cruise. The staff couldn't speak any Japanese, but they were very friendly. Later, during the dolphin watching in Oahu, I was lucky enough to see whales up close several times, which was great.

遠くにチラッと3回ほど確認できました。
ただ写真には収まらない程の遠くで一瞬でした。
ただ、クルーズとして楽しめました。
スタッフの皆さんは一切日本語が喋れませんがとてもフレンドリーでした。
この後のオアフ島で参加したイルカウォッチングで偶然に何度もクジラを近くで見れたので良かったです。

This was a great time and we can't wait to do it again! We were all able to stand up on our surf boards because of their great teaching, and we loved being in the water with the instructors. Very kind staff! The lesson on the land was a little long and repetitive, but very worth it for the water time. Jake and Tiffany were the best instructor!

I have experienced various luau shows, but this one felt a bit lacking. The structure was stretched out, with a lot of band performances in between the hula. The meal was a 60 out of 100. I left early, so perhaps it got more exciting in the second half.

いろいろなルアウショーを体験しましたが、ここのルアウショーはちょっと寂しかったです。間延びした構成で、フラの合間のバンド演奏が多かった。食事は６０点。途中で帰ったので、もしかしたら後半で盛り上がったのかもしれないですね。

I prepared myself for the cold, but on the day of the tour, the borrowed winter clothing was sufficient. There was no wind, so I was very lucky. The guide was attentive and responsive, and they skillfully used my DSLR camera (which I had just purchased and wasn't quite sure how to use), capturing the wonderful starry sky for me. I am grateful for the great photos they took. Not only was the guide knowledgeable, but I was also impressed by their ability to handle any camera, even in unrelated situations. The taste and portion of the bento were decent as well. I believe this is a tour I can confidently recommend.

寒さを覚悟で参加しましたが、当日は貸していただいた防寒着で充分。風もなく、とてもラッキーでした。ガイドさんの気配りや対応も良く、また私が持参した１眼レフカメラを器用に使いこなしていただき（購入したばかりで使い方がもう一つわからなかったので）、素晴らしい星空を撮影してもらえました。良い写真を撮っていただき、感謝しております。ガイドの知識だけではなく、どんなカメラでも使いこなせるんだなぁと、ツアーと関係のないところでも感激しました。お弁当の味やボリュームもまあまあです。自信を持ってお勧めできるツアーだと思います。

I surprised my wife with a Lei greeting on our arrival in Kona. The greeter was very engaging and friendly. Her pleasant manner was a delight after a long day of travel.

I was able to swim right next to dolphins and manta rays! I even got to see a whale, which was an incredible joy. The Japanese staff were amazing too! I'm really glad I participated.

イルカやマンタのすぐそばで泳げました！クジラまで見る事が出来てこの上ない幸せでした。日本人スタッフも最高〜〜！本当に参加して良かったです。

I was overwhelmed by the overly energetic staff and spent 7 to 8 hours laughing!

For the January trip, we gathered around 1 PM to match the sunset time, so I felt it was a bit of a waste to lose the entire afternoon, but that was absolutely not the case, and it turned out to be a very satisfying day.

During the ascent to the summit, they kept talking to us the whole time, and we were able to enjoy sightseeing until we reached Mauna Kea. The miso soup we had along the way was incredibly delicious.

The view from Mauna Kea is a must-see. Although the snowy scenery doesn't feel very Hawaiian, I was so happy to see such a beautiful sunset, starry sky, and moon!!!

Depending on the weather that day, it seems there might be times when you can't see the sunset or stars, but I believe the journey and the scenery along the way are enjoyable enough, and with the staff's attentiveness, you're sure to have a great time.

テンションが高すぎるスタッフに圧倒されつつ、

1月の参加は、サンセットの時間に合わせ
13時頃の集合だったので、
午後が丸々つぶれてしまうのが
もったいない気もしていましたが、
全くそんなことはなく、
大満足の１日になりました。

山頂までの間、
ずーーーっとお話してくれて
マウナケアに着くまでも観光が出来ました。
途中頂いたお味噌汁がすごく美味しかったです。

マウナケアの景色は必見。
雪景色でハワイっぽさはないけれど、
あんなにきれいな夕日、星空、月をみれて
幸せでした！！！

その日の天候により、
夕日や星が見えないこともあるみたいですが
そこまでの道のりや景色も十分楽しめるし、なによりスタッフの気配りで楽しめること間違いなしだと思います。

This service was fantastic, our captain was really knowledgeable and friendly. We saw whales and dolphins and our captain was really accommodating and nice. It was a beautiful boat and wonderful that it was just a few people.

What a great day! Pros: The crew was friendly and helpful, the lunch was tasty and we saw a ton of fish. Our 5 year old had an amazing first snorkeling tour. The slide was a hit!
Cons : we didn't see any Dolphins or turtles but body glove can't control that.
