I participated on the last night of our stay. As mentioned in the comments, there were no other Japanese participants besides our family, and many older couples from Europe and America attended! However, the crew was very attentive, and we were able to enjoy the sunset comfortably! They shared stories about the history of Hawaii, but since we are not good at English, we didn't understand much. However, I think Japanese guests can participate with peace of mind! The food was buffet style and quite delicious. The main sunset was breathtaking! We were able to relax on the boat on our last night! One thing to note... the meeting point is at the local pier, and you cannot park your car at the pier, so be careful. I recommend parking at a nearby pay parking area around Kailua-Kona!

でもクルーの皆さんも気にかけて頂きとても快適にサンセンセットを堪能できます！
ハワイの歴史のお話など教えて下さいますが、英語が苦手な私達はサッパリ意味は分からずでしたが日本の方も安心して参加できると思います！
食事はビュッフェスタイルですが、中々美味しかったです。

最後の夜に船上でゆっくりと過ごす事が出来ました！
一点…集合が現地桟橋集合で、桟橋に車を止められませんので注意が必要です。
近くのカイルアコナ周辺のペイパーキングに駐車する事を勧めます！

Our first family trip with my spouse and our parents, a total of six people! There wasn't a specific dress code, but many people wore dresses or collared shirts.

Just before the reception, there was a shell lei gift. If you want a lei that looks like a black stone, there is an additional charge. Further ahead, there was a photographer who took pictures and came around to sell them during the show. We declined the photo session and proceeded to the reception.

Unless you pay a special additional fee, you will be guided to seats in front of the stage in the order of reception. Since we arrived just before 5:30 PM, the front seats were already taken, and we ended up in the back. When going to get food, they also guide people to the front seats first. The only soft drink available was fruit punch, and the only other option was lemon water. Since I can't drink alcohol, I would have preferred a more varied drink menu. Our parents enjoyed buying various beers and had a great time drinking.

The food was delicious, and we were all full. The show took place at the beginning and end of the meal. It was a dinner show that was longer and more substantial than we expected, and the whole family was very satisfied.

私たち夫婦と両家の親の6人での初家族旅行！特にドレスコードはありませんがワンピースの方や襟付きシャツの方が多かったです。
受付をする手前でシェルレイのプレゼントが。黒い石？みたいなレイが欲しい場合は追加料金がかかります。更に前に進むと今度はカメラマンが立っていて撮った写真を現像してショーの合間に売りに来ます。
私たちは写真撮影をお断りしてそのまま受付へ。
特別追加料金を払わない限り受付順にステージ前側の席へ案内されます。
私たちは17:30直前に着いたため、案の定ステージ前側の席はもう埋まっていて一番後ろの席に。食事を取りに行くのも前側の席の方から順番に案内されます。ソフトドリンクはフルーツポンチしかなくあとはレモン水を飲むしかなかった。お酒が飲めないのでもっと充実したドリンクメニューが良かったです。親たちは色んなビールを買って楽しく飲んでいました。
食事はどれも美味しく満腹になりました。
ショーは食事の最初と最後にありました。思っていた以上に長く中身の詰まったディナーショーで家族みんな大満足でした。

I participated in a manta snorkeling tour for the first time. I'm not a strong swimmer and it was my first time snorkeling, but it was fine since I just held onto something like a kickboard and floated. The guide was very kind and supportive.

You can rent a bodysuit on-site for $10, and when I participated, everyone rented one. The boat ride to the manta viewing spot had quite a bit of waves, so I recommend motion sickness medication for those who are prone to seasickness. I took some beforehand as well. We were able to see a beautiful sunset from the boat on the way there.

As for the mantas, many of them gathered, and we were able to see them flipping in the water. The guide mentioned that sometimes you might not see any, so I felt lucky to see so many!

On the way back, the boat's lights were dimmed, and we returned while looking at the starry sky. They served us hot chocolate, but it gets cold, so I think it's a good idea to remember to bring a towel.

It was challenging, but I had a very valuable and wonderful experience, and I was extremely satisfied!

初めてマンタのシュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。私は泳ぎも苦手でシュノーケリング自体初めてだったのですが、ビート板のようなものにつかまって浮いているだけなので、問題ありませんでした。ガイドのお姉さんも優しくサポートしてくださいます。
現地でボディスーツ（＄10）を借りることもでき、私が参加した時は全員借りていました。
マンタを見れるスポットまでの船は波がかなりあり、酔いやすい人は酔い止めをおすすめします。私も事前に酔い止めを飲んでいきました。行きの船内からはサンセットがきれいに見ることができました。
肝心なマンタですが、たくさんのマンタが集まってきて、宙返りもたくさんみることができました。ガイドさんも見れないこともあるとおっしゃっていたので、たくさん見ることができてラッキーでした！
帰りは船内の照明を落として、星空を見ながら帰りました。ホットチョコレートを出していただきましたが、冷えるので、タオルの準備を忘れないほうが良いと思います。
ハードでしたが、とても貴重で素敵な経験ができ大満足でした！

I encountered over 30 wild dolphins while snorkeling. I had plenty of time for snorkeling, which allowed for a valuable experience, and swimming among the pod of dolphins was amazing.

野生のイルカシュノーケリング、30頭以上のイルカと遭遇しました。
シュノーケリングの時間もたくさんとって頂いて貴重な体験ができ、イルカの群れの中で泳ぐ事もできて最高でした。

We headed to a beautiful spot by boat. Since we departed in the afternoon, I was worried about the rain, but by the time we arrived at the spot, the rain had stopped and we were able to see many beautiful fish. There were also plenty of sea urchins. There was a slide, and everyone was having a great time. The snacks, juice, and fruit were very delicious, and my grandchild was very satisfied. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

船で美しいポイントまで向かいます。午後出発だったので雨が降り心配でしたが、ポイントについたころには雨もやみ美しい魚をたくさん見ることができました。ウニもたくさん。滑り台もあり、皆さん楽しんでいました。軽食のスナック、ジュース、フルーツがとても美味しくて、孫も大満足。またチャンスがあれば参加したいです。

Since I saw a comedian riding a Segway happily in Honolulu on TV, I’ve always wanted to try it someday. I’m so glad I was able to do it this time!

To sum it up, it was fun!! It felt great!!

This time, it was just my husband and me participating, along with our guide, Armin, and the photographer, Alan, who rode with us. First, we chose our favorite patterned helmets inside the shop (which was already fun), and then we received a brief explanation about how the Segway works and practiced a bit. After that, we set off into the town of Kona.

After getting used to riding in a nearby field, we rode on the roads and sidewalks to explore the tourist spots. While we were riding, Armin provided explanations about the surroundings and driving tips through our earphones. He was always attentive, and whenever there were parts that made me nervous, he offered support, which made me feel safe.

We had the freedom to ride at high speeds around an old airfield and went to the beach to watch the sunset... Before I knew it, two hours had flown by while I was completely absorbed in the experience. I felt a great sense of satisfaction from the ride.

They also edited and sent us photos and videos from our ride to our email later, which became wonderful memories. It was so much fun~(^^)v Thank you very much!

テレビで、お笑い芸人さんがホノルルで楽しそうにセグウェイを乗り回している映像を見た時から、いつかトライしてみたいと思っていました。
今回実現できて嬉しい！

結論からいうと、楽しい！！　気持ちいい！！　です。

今回の参加者は私達夫婦のみで、ガイドのアルミンさんとカメラマンとしてアランさんが一緒に走ってくれました。
まずは店内で、好きな柄のヘルメットを選び（ここからもう楽しい（笑））、セグウェイの仕組みや運転方法について簡単に説明を受け練習。
そして、さっそくコナの街へ出発です。
近くの野原で運転に慣れたあと、街中の道路や歩道を普通に走って観光スポットを散策して周ります。
走っているあいだも、イヤホンにアルミンさんからの周辺の説明や運転上の注意が飛んできます。常に注意を払ってくれていて、運転が不安な箇所ではサポートしてくれたので安心でした。
昔の飛行場で自由にハイスピードで走りまわったり、ビーチへサンセットを見に行ったり・・・夢中なうちにあっという間に2時間たってしまいました。
しっかり走った満足感があります。
走っている間の写真や動画も、編集して後からメールアドレスに送ってくれたので、良い思い出になりました。
楽しかった～(^^)v

The luau show seems to be quite popular, and when I arrived 30 minutes early, there was already a line. Before it started, a beautiful rainbow appeared, which was lucky. Unfortunately, there was some rain during the show, but it was just a passing shower, so I managed. I wore the poncho they handed out to enjoy the performance. The food was buffet-style, and drinks were all-you-can-drink. The dishes had a distinctly Hawaiian flavor. Before the show, we could see the whole pig being brought out and learn some simple hula dance moves. Since we were seated with people from various countries, I made friends with a Canadian next to me and had a great time.

ルアウショーは人気のようで受付30分前に行ったのですが、すでに列が出来ていました。
始まる前には虹も綺麗に出ていてラッキー。
途中あいにくの雨でしたが、通り雨なので我慢。配られたカッパを着て鑑賞しました。
料理はブッフェスタイル、ドリンクは飲み放題でした。料理はハワイらしい味です。
ショーの前には、豚の丸焼きを取り出すところや、簡単なフラの踊り方なども見ることが出来ます。
色々な国な人との相席なので、となりのカナダ人と仲良くなり楽しい時間を過ごせました。

Due to time constraints, we reached our destination before sunset, and since I was sitting on the right side of the boat, the instructor took some photos for me, but I was unable to see it directly, which was disappointing. The boat ride felt like a roller coaster, both fun and a bit uncomfortable. Finally, while trying to contain my excitement, we went into the water, but despite waiting, the manta rays did not appear. Instead, there were people stirring up the plankton with their feet. However, at the very end, I was able to see a manta ray doing a somersault. It was truly moving. But now, I realized that I didn't get a commemorative photo. Thank you to all the instructors for your help. Mahalo!

時間的に、船で目的地に着く前にサンセットになったのですが右舷側に座っていたので、インストラクターさんが写真を撮ってくれましたが、直接見ることができず、残念でした。
そして、船の旅はジェットコースターの様で、楽しくもあり、苦しくも有りといったところでした。
いよいよ、ワクワクするキモチを抑えつつ海の中へと、ところが待てど暮らせどマンタは現れません。
それどころか、集まってきたプランクトンを足で掻き回してくれる人も有り。
でも、最後の最後にマンタの宙返りを見ることが出来ました。
これは、感動物でした。ところが今度は、記念の写真が撮れて無いでは有りませんか。インストラクターの皆様、お世話になりました。マハロ！

The weather on the day was mostly cloudy with some sunny intervals, which I think was just perfect for kayaking on the sea. It was my first time kayaking, but the boarding instructions were explained carefully in Japanese, and although the main guide was a foreigner, there was a Japanese support staff present, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy the experience. The kayak was a two-person one, and the person sitting in the back becomes the leader, so they might have to paddle more often. It felt great to glide over the sea while feeling the wind. The snorkeling was also delightful, as I found the fish swimming around to be quite cute.

当日は晴れ間の多い曇りっぽいお天気で、海の上でのカヤックにはちょうど良いお天気だったように思います。はじめてのカヤックでしたが乗車の説明など日本語で丁寧に説明していただき、メインガイドの方は外国人の方でしたが、サポートに日本人の方がいらして下さったので安心して楽しむことができました。カヤックは二人乗りのもので後ろに乗る方がリーダーになるので漕ぐ回数が多いのかも？しれません。海の上をすべるようにカヤックが進む感じは風を感じながら気持ちよかったです。シュノーケリングもお魚が泳ぐ姿がかわいかったです。

This was a great tour. We enjoyed historic areas as well as a honey farm, and coffee plantation. The painted church, St. Benedict's, was awesome and our guide, V.... was knowledgeable about all we visited as well as the culture of the island.

I was a bit anxious about having a guide in English, but they demonstrated everything from how to paddle the kayak to how to get in and out. They communicated with gestures, so I hardly had to use English at all.

From the meeting point at the port, we paddled the kayak for about an hour until we reached the snorkeling point, where we had a light snack (like crackers). After enjoying snorkeling for about 40 minutes, we paddled back to the port. It was a lot of fun.

One challenge was finding the meeting place, but in the end, it was at the port in front of the public restroom (the place to launch the kayak).

英語でのガイドとのことで少し不安に思っていましたが、
カヤックの漕ぎ方から乗り降りの仕方まで、実践して見せてくれましたし、
身振り手振りでコミュニケーションを図ってもらいましたので、
特に、英語を使う場面はほとんどありませんでした。
集合場所の港から、そのままカヤックを１時間ぐらい漕いで、
シュノーケルポイントについたら軽食（クラッカーなど）後、
シュノーケルを40分程楽しんだのち、またカヤックを漕いで
港まで帰るというコースでしたが、十分、楽しめました。
その他としては集合場所がわからずに苦労しましたが、結局は、
公衆トイレの前の港（カヤックを下ろすところ）でした。

I arrived early, but along the road, there were locals fishing, and I could only park one car at a distance. When we gathered near the sign at 6:40 AM, we were asked to sign the usual disclaimer stating that they do not guarantee anything and that we are responsible for ourselves.

After that, there was a brief explanation of kayaking, some stretching exercises, and the distribution of life jackets before we quickly entered the sea. There were five of us in total, but without any options, two-person kayaks were provided. Some participants were paired with a guide.

As someone in my 40s and this being my second kayaking experience, I found it challenging to make progress once we were out in the open sea due to the waves, and I kept getting left behind. If you're going on a tour that takes you into a cave, I think you need to be quite prepared for a significant distance to kayak.

In the morning, Mount Farahrai was clearly visible, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. After kayaking, we returned and were lent snorkeling sets, but it felt like we were just told to explore the bay on our own, which isn't suitable for beginners. There weren't many fish, and the water depth was about 5 meters, which was disappointing.

At night, manta rays come to the same spot. The explanation was given by a Japanese woman, but her condescending attitude left a less than favorable impression. The tour was short, ending by 8:30.

早めに到着しましたが、道路沿いは釣りをしている地元の方か、車が止められず離れた場所に一台ギリギリ駐車できました。
早朝6:40に看板の下付近に集合すると、おきまりの保証しません、自己責任ですのサインをさせられます。
その後簡単なカヤックの説明、体操、ライフジャケットの貸し出しがありすぐに海に入ります。全員で5名でしたが、希望もなく二人乗りのカヤックが用意されていました。ガイドとの同乗の方もいました。
40代でカヤック二回目ですが、海の沖にでると波もありなかなか進まないためどんどん置いていかれてしまいます。
洞窟の中まで行くツアーの場合はかなりの距離をカヤックで移動するので相当の覚悟が必要だと思います。
朝はファラライ山がくっきりとキレイに見えて景色は最高に良かったです。
カヤックが終わると一度もどりシュノーケルセットを貸し出してもらい勝手に湾内へどうぞという感じのため初心者には向きません。
魚もあまりおらず、水深も5mくらいはあるためがっかりでした。
夜は同じ場所にマンタが来ます。
日本人女性の説明でしたが、上から目線で印象今ひとつでした。8:30には終了の短いツアーでした。

If you come to the Big Island, you definitely want to go on the dolphin snorkeling tour.

I had heard that it's not easy to see them up close these days, but they searched until we found them, and I was able to go snorkeling three times!

I couldn't see many fish while snorkeling, but the boat service was excellent. The boat's restroom was clean, and of course, drinks were included, along with unlimited food from breakfast to lunch, which was a great value.

スノーケルで魚はあまり見えなかったですが、船のサービスは最高でした。船のトイレも綺麗だったし、飲み物は勿論、朝ご飯から昼ごはんまで全て放題でコスパ最高でした。

I was able to swim with many dolphins. According to the guide, there are days when you can only see a few, so I think I was lucky. However, I believe it was thanks to the guide's efforts in finding the right spots to see the dolphins. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

沢山のイルカと泳ぐ事ができました。
ガイドさん曰く、数頭しか会えない日もあるとの事で、運が良かったのだと思います。
でも、イルカに会えるポイントをしっかり探して下さったお陰だと思います。

I had no experience with snorkeling, but I was taught how to swim. Additionally, the instructor pulled me along to where the dolphins were swimming. I'm really grateful for that.

シュノーケリングの経験も無かったのですが、泳ぎ方から教えてもらいました。また、インストラクターの方がイルカが泳いでいるところまで、引っ張って連れて泳いでくれました。本当に感謝です。

In the past, when I participated in a tour to swim with wild dolphins in Japan, they didn't come very close to me, but this time, dolphins came right in front of me!! Within about three minutes of departure, dolphins were swimming next to the boat. We quickly arrived at the pod and were able to swim with many dolphins. I was truly moved to see so many dolphins swimming right in front of me!! The guide also mentioned that we were lucky today, and we were able to enjoy snorkeling without moving around too much in the boat! At one point, Daisuke was swimming with the dolphins too, and he dove in so quickly, it was like he was a dolphin! I made sure to engrave the experience in my memory, but I later thought it would have been great to rent a GoPro to look back on it. The weather was also favorable, making it a wonderful memory. This tour allows you to arrive at the spot before other tour boats, so you can be the first to swim with the dolphins! Since it finishes in the morning, I was able to join the Mauna Kea tour in the afternoon, making for a fulfilling day. Next time, I want to participate again with a GoPro rental!

過去に一度日本で野生のイルカと泳ぐツアーに参加した時は、
あまり近づいてくれませんでしたが、今回は目の前にイルカがきてくれました！！
出発してから3分も経たないくらいで、ボート横にイルカが泳いでいました。
すぐに群れのところに到着し、たくさんのイルカと一緒に泳ぐことができました。目の前でたくさんのイルカが泳いでいるのを見れて、本当に感動しました！！
ガイドさんも今日はラッキーと仰っていましたが、あまりボートで移動することなく、シュノーケリングを楽しむことができました！
途中だいすけさんも一緒にイルカと泳いでいましたが、あっという間に潜っていてまるでイルカのようでした！
しっかり目に焼き付けましたが、後から見返せるようにGoProレンタルをすればよかったなと思いました。
天候にも恵まれ、良い思い出になりました。
このツアーでは、他のツアーの船が来る前に、ポイントに到着できるので、一番乗りでイルカと泳ぐことができるそうです！
午前中で終わるので、午後からはマウナケアツアーに参加でき、充実した1日になりました。
次回はGoProレンタルでまた参加したいです！

There were few Japanese people, and many locals... The show that starts with the entrance of Kamehameha was quite good. It wasn't very large, but it was compactly organized, and we could see well. The food was Hawaiian, and it was delicious. The show featured hula dances that told the story of humans being born from taro, hula dedicated to Kamehameha, and hula from various islands like Tahiti and New Zealand... all were skillful and full of highlights. I highly recommend this luau when visiting the Big Island.

日本人が少なくて、地元の方多し。。。カメハメハの入場から始まるショーはなかなかよいです。そんなに広くありませんでしたが、コンパクトにまとまっており、よく見れました。食事もハワイアンフードでしたが、おいしかったです。ショーもタロイモから人間が生まれ、カメハメハに捧げるフラ、そしてタヒチ、ニュージー等々の各諸島のフラ、、どれも上手で見どころ満点でした。ハワイ島の際はぜひおすすめしたいルアウです。

Since it was introduced on TV, I had been looking forward to meeting the manta rays. I had some concerns about whether I could participate on the day of the tour because I heard from other tour guides that the boat was broken, but the boat they arranged for us was a hand-me-down from the navy? It was cool! (The boat, that is!). It's a shame I didn't take any pictures.

The weather was decent on the day, and we were able to enjoy the sunset over the sea. Since it gets cold at night, I rented a wetsuit for $10. That was the right choice. I was able to enjoy myself without feeling cold. The guide adjusted the snorkeling gear to fit each individual and provided a proper explanation on how to wear it.

I felt great floating in the sea while watching the fantastic manta rays and fish. The guide kept encouraging the other participants to raise their legs to attract the manta rays, and he quickly noticed when my husband started feeling unwell and took care of him.

Because we were scattering bait in the water, in the end, two manta rays took turns opening their mouths and spinning around. They performed a somersault right in front of the kids, which was very exciting. It was just like what we saw on TV! On the way back, I definitely felt the cold. I'm glad I brought a bath towel. The warm cocoa after getting off the boat was very delicious. Thank you very much. Mahalo♪

テレビで紹介されて以来、マンタに会えることを楽しみにしていました。
他のツアーガイドさんからボートが故障していると聞いていたので当日まで参加できるのかという思いがありましたが、代わりに手配してくれたボートは海軍のお下がり？でした。かっこよかったです。（ボートが！）。写真を撮ってこなかったのが残念。

当日は天気もまずまず海からのサンセットも鑑賞できました。夜になると冷えるからということでウェットスーツ（10ドル）を借りました。正解でした。寒さを感じずに楽しめました。
シュノーケルセットは個人に合うようにガイドさんが調節してくれます。つけ方もきちんとレクチャーしてくれました。
私は海にプカプカ浮きながら幻想的なマンタや魚を見れてとても気持ちよかったです。

ガイドさんが、マンタが来やすいように足を上げてね～、と終始他の参加者に声をかけてくれたし、
途中夫が気分が悪くなったのもいち早く気づいていただき、対処をしてくれました。
海に撒き餌（？！）をする形となったせいか、最後はマンタ２枚がかわるがわる口を開けて回転してくれました。
子供の目の前で宙返りを見せてくれたので大興奮でした。ほんとにテレビで見た通りだったね！と。
帰りのボートはさすがに寒さを感じました。バスタオルを持って行って良かったです。
ボートを降りてからの暖かいココアがとても美味しかったです。

This was my first trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, and I participated in the much-talked-about night manta ray tour. I chose this particular tour among several options because the price included a wetsuit and was relatively reasonable, the boat ride to the snorkeling point was short, and there was a 7-day guarantee in case we didn't encounter any manta rays.

On the day of the tour, I went to the office to check in and then traveled to the boarding point, which was about a 5-minute drive away. There, I was able to rent a wetsuit and snorkeling gear. My husband borrowed prescription goggles. We set sail during sunset and quickly arrived at the snorkeling point. Aside from us, everyone else on the tour was from abroad, with about 30 participants in total. The instructions were given only in English, but it wasn't a problem at all. The staff members were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

The night ocean was incredibly mystical. Holding onto the floatation device and looking down, manta rays soon appeared. Over the course of about 50 minutes, 5 to 6 manta rays came by, showcasing their graceful movements. They were so adorable that I lost track of time, and everyone was super excited! My husband seemed ready to get out, but I wanted to keep watching forever. We returned to the dock in about 5 minutes, and I didn't feel the cold I had worried about at all. It was a thoroughly satisfying night.

今回初めてのハワイ島旅行、話題の夜のマンタツアーに参加しました。いくつかある同企画の中からこちらのツアーを選んだ理由は、ウェットスーツ込みの価格が比較的リーズナブルなこと、岸からポイントまでの乗船時間が短いこと、非遭遇時の7日間保証があることです。
当日、自分で事務所へ行き受付を済ませ、かなり離れた乗船ポイントまで行きます(車で5分)。そこでウェットスーツやシュノーケルセットを借りられます。主人は度付きのゴーグルを貸してもらいました。夕焼けの中、出航。すぐにポイントに到着。私達夫婦以外は全て外国の方。全部で30人位参加していました。説明は英語オンリーでしたが、特に困ることもありません。スタッフの方達はとてもフレンドリーで、楽しませてくれました。
夜の海はとても神秘的です。浮き具につかまり下を覗くと、すぐにマンタがやってきてくれました。50分程の間に5〜6頭やってきては、華麗な舞を披露してくれました。可愛くて、時間の経つのも忘れ、みんな大興奮‼︎ 主人はそろそろ上がりたかったみたいですが、私はいつまでもいつまでも見ていたかったです。帰りも5分程で船着場に到着。心配していた寒さも感じず、大満足の夜でした。

This time, I planned to go snorkeling on the Big Island, so I prepared my gear and came. Kayaking allowed me to feel the sensation of being surrounded by the blue sea and blue sky even more than last year. It was really enjoyable.

I was also able to enjoy snorkeling with more ease than last year.

This year, I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing vacation on the Big Island with the beach, pool, naps, and reading (with a beer occasionally).

昨年、初体験してとても楽しかったので、今年もお世話になりました。

今回はハワイ島でのシュノーケリングも予定していたので、装備も揃えて伺いました。カヤックは、青い海と青い空に包まれるような感覚を、今年は昨年以上に体感できました。ほんとに楽しかったです。

シュノーケリングでも昨年より、余裕を持って楽しむことができました。

昨年に引き続き、ガイドのノニさんにはほんとにお世話になりました。

連日でビーチに通いました。

今年はビーチ、プール、昼寝、読書（たまにビール）と、
のんびりしたハワイ島の休暇を満喫しました。

On the day of the tour, it seemed that the previous group had a hard time finding the dolphins and returned late. This meant that the tour was dedicated to ensuring we would meet the dolphins. In fact, our captain was determined to find them for us. About an hour after leaving the port, we spotted the dolphins! I could only do a flutter kick, but our guide, Aki, held my hand and encouraged me, saying, "Look down! Relax!" while we snorkeled. I was able to see a pod of dolphins up close! Of course, it’s different from seeing them in an aquarium! We continued to dive three more times while chasing the pod of dolphins. The captain made sure that all participants got to see and enjoy the dolphins. His dedication to ensuring everyone was satisfied was incredible! The only regret I have is that I participated without cash, so I couldn’t give a tip. I truly regret that. Thank you to Captain Noda and Aki, who guided me to see the dolphins! Aki is very knowledgeable about coffee. On the way back to the port, we stopped by a coffee shop, and the Kona coffee was truly delicious and not sour at all! This was also a wonderful experience from participating in the tour.

当日、前の時間帯のグループがイルカになかなか会えず戻ってくるのが遅れているようでした。…ということは、イルカに会えるまでがんばってくれるツアーということ。実際、私たちのグループにも船長が執念でイルカを探してくれました。港を出て一時間ほどで目指すイルカたちが！私はバタ足しか出来ません。が、ガイドのアキさんが手を引いてくれて、「下を見て！力を抜いて！」と激励されながら、シュノーケリング。しっかりとイルカの群れを見ました！当然ですが、水族館で見るのとは違います！その後もイルカの群れを追いかけながらさらに三回ほど潜水。参加者全員がしっかりとイルカに会い満喫するまで船を走らせてくれました。全員が満足を感じるようにという執念？がハンパじゃありません！心残りは、現金を持たずに参加したのでチップをお渡しできなかったこと。ほんとうにそれがめちゃくちゃ心残りです。船長の縄田さん、手を引いてイルカに会わせてくれたアキさん、ありがとうございました！アキさんは、コーヒーにめちゃくちゃ詳しいです。港に向かう途中でコーヒー屋さんに寄ってもらいましたが、ほんとうに美味しいコナのコーヒーは酸っぱくない！これもこのツアー参加の素敵な体験です。

This trip to Hawaii was a long-awaited three-generation family vacation. To fulfill my 9-year-old niece's wish to swim with dolphins, we decided to participate as a family. Our family tends to be more indoorsy, and with many of us not being able to swim, we were able to enjoy ourselves safely thanks to the kind and friendly Nao and the handsome and fun Rei, who provided us with constant support. The sea conditions were terrible, and participants from other tour companies likely wouldn’t have seen any dolphins, but thanks to Nao, Rei, and the captain's persistence, we encountered a large pod of dolphins! They made our dream of swimming with dolphins come true, creating a lifelong memory. My niece was also very satisfied.

The driver, Mr. Nawata, was from Fukuoka like us, and we had a great time chatting about our hometown, making it enjoyable from start to finish! Mr. Nawata and Rei were just as handsome as they were described (laughs).

Thank you so much for the best dolphin tour! I definitely want to ask Aloha Kona Tours for help again next time!

今回のハワイ旅行は、念願の3世代旅行でした。イルカと泳ぎたい！という9歳の姪の希望を叶えるために、家族で参加を決めました。インドア派な我が家...泳げない人も多数いる中、優しくて気さくななおさんとイケメンで楽しいレイさんが付きっきりでサポートしてくださり、安心して楽しむことができました。他のツアー会社の参加者は、きっとイルカに会えなかっただろうという最悪な海のコンディションでしたが、なおさん、レイさん、船長さんが粘ってくれたおかげで、イルカの大群と遭遇！イルカたちと一緒に泳ぐ夢を叶えていただき、一生の思い出となりました(^^)姪も大満足でした。

今回送迎してくださった縄田さんは、同じ福岡出身で、地元話でとても盛り上がり最初から最後まで楽しかったです！

Today, there were six Japanese participants, one of whom was an 11-year-old girl. After listening to various explanations, everyone put on wetsuits, and I, being a bit nervous, also wore a life jacket. We set off to our destination on the cruiser!

"The waves are high today," they said, and we experienced quite a bit of rocking and splashes. "It looks like it's raining around the point," I thought we might be unlucky, but then I saw a rainbow in the left front. As I was delighted by that rainbow, I noticed another one behind us. And behind us was a beautiful sunset.

Thanks to that situation, we saw a large semi-circular rainbow. On top of that, it was a double rainbow! I was very satisfied with this cruising experience, which allowed us to enjoy a 360-degree view while getting splashed, even more than a regular sunset cruise.

When we arrived at the point, we put on our snorkels. Following my husband, I jumped in, but my snorkel came off due to an accident. However, the staff calmed me down, saying, "There's no need to panic. I'll help you put it back on."

As we reached the point, we were amazed to see a manta ray almost immediately. "Wow, that's amazing!" I exclaimed, and then two manta rays rolled up towards us from the seabed, circling just inches away with their mouths wide open—I could even see inside their mouths.

For someone like me, who gets nervous easily, it was quite a shock. But each time, they reassured me with, "A manta is coming!" "You're okay!" "Just relax and float!" This guidance helped me stay calm and enjoy the experience.

The plankton, larval crustaceans, and swimming fish were sparkling beautifully thanks to the lighting. It was truly a precious experience.

With attentive service throughout, the cruiser driver offered me sparkling water since I was feeling a bit seasick. Even though I was in a wetsuit, I still felt quite cold. The hot chocolate made by the staff after we returned warmed both my heart and body. It became a wonderful memory of Hawaii! ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

本日の日本人参加者は6人。うち1人は11歳の女の子。
諸説明を聞き、全員ウエットスーツを着用し、ビビリの私は、ライフジャケットもつけました。
クルーザーで目的地へ発進❗️
「今日は波が高いですね」ということで大きく揺れつつ、波しぶきもしっかり浴びました。
「ポイント辺り、雨降っていそうですね」ということで、あー私たちついてないのかなーーーと思っっていると、左前方に虹が。その虹に大喜びしてると、左後方にも虹が。そして、背後には美しいサンセットが。
そんなシチュエーションのおかげで、半円の大きな虹が見えました。その上、二重に！ダブルレインボーになりました。
普通のサンセットクルーズより、波しぶきを浴びながら360度見渡せるこのクルージングだけでも、大満足❣️でした。

ポイントに着き、シュノーケル装着。主人に続いてドボンと飛び込むとーシュノーケルが外れるアクシデント。でも、スタッフさんが「焦らなくて大丈夫。つけてあげるから」と落ち着かせてくれました。
ポイントに行くと、驚くほど直ぐにマンタが(´⊙ω⊙`)。あー凄い！と喜んでいると、2匹のマンタが、海底より私たちに向かってローリングアップ。大きな口を開けてーーースレスレを旋回。口の中まで見えました。
ビビリの私には、強すぎる衝撃でした。でも、その都度、「マンタ来ますよー」「大丈夫ですよー」「力を抜いて浮いていてくださいねー」と的確に声をかけていただいて、落ち着いて、楽しむことができました。
海中のプランクトンー甲殻類の幼生等や、泳ぎ回るサカナ等、照明のお陰でキラキラしてよく見えました。本当に貴重な体験でした。

すべてに丁寧な対応で、船酔い気味の私に、クルーザーの運転手さんは炭酸水をくださいました。ウエットスーツ着てたけど、それでもとっても冷えました。帰着後に頂いた、スタッフさん手作りのホットチョコレートは、心も身体も温まりました。ハワイのとっても良い思いでになりました

I was led by guides who never forgot their respect for dolphins on a small group tour, and even though I can't swim, I was able to encounter a pod of dolphins twice! My daughter seemed truly moved by the pod and managed to dive during all six of her attempts, seeing not only dolphins but also a large school of mackerel. My son, who usually doesn't get seasick, ended up feeling nauseous on the boat. It might have been because he wasn't used to the wetsuit. Additionally, wearing a rash guard might have been constricting for him. Even the experienced guides mentioned that they feel seasick when wearing a wetsuit, so for those who can swim, it might be better to keep things light.

少人数のツアーでイルカに対するリスペクトを忘れない姿勢のガイドさん達にリードしてもらい、泳げない私でも2度ほどイルカの群れに出会えました！
娘はイルカの群れに本当に感動したようで、6回ほどのチャレンジ全て潜り、イルカの他アジの大群なども見たようです。
息子は普段酔うタイプではないのですが、船酔いしてしまいました。ウエットスーツが慣れなかったせいもあるかもしれません。更にラッシュガードも着ていたのが体を締め付けていたのかも。
慣れてるガイドの方でもウエットスーツを着ると酔うとおっしゃってたので、泳げる方は、身軽にした方がいいかもです。

The fire dance was the only good part.

However, there were very few drink options for the all-you-can-drink, and it took an astonishing amount of time to reach the buffet. Everyone entered early, so it felt like we wasted hours. (Originally, the meal was supposed to start an hour after the drinks, but there were delays and waiting in line.) This was surprising to the point that it couldn't just be brushed off as "because it's overseas."

The crowd was mostly Americans, and everyone seemed to be waiting reluctantly. An American lady next to me shouted, "I'm hungry!"

I went with my husband at the end of July, and since it was a venue that could hold hundreds of people, we left with a wry smile, thinking they must be making quite a profit. The seats I bought were $100 per person. The reviews were quite good, so it was baffling.

ファイヤーダンスのみ良かったです。

ただ、飲み放題の種類も少なく、ビュッフェにたどり着くまで、恐ろしく時間がかかりました。皆さん前もって早めに入るので、何時間も無駄にした感じでした。(もともと食事は飲み物のあと、一時間後開始ですが、遅れや順番待ちもあり)
こればかりは、「海外だから、、」ですまされないレベルで驚きました。
満席の客層はほぼアメリカ人でしたが、皆仕方なく待っているといった感じでした。横のアメリカ人のおばさまは、「アイムハングリー！」と叫んでいました。

7月末に主人と行きましたが、何百人も入る開場なので、相当の儲けだね～と苦笑いしながら帰ってきました。私が買った席は1人100ドルでした。口コミはなかなか良かったので、意味不明でした。

Since there was no shuttle service, we took an Uber to the dock for $20. When we signed up for the trip, it turned out that we were the only ones on the boat. It seems that the other participants, all from English-speaking countries, were on separate boats with their families. After visiting the blowhole, we went snorkeling at Captain Cook's Cove, where we saw a lot of tropical fish. After that, we went looking for dolphins and encountered a large pod of dolphins called Captain Whale, which were about 5 meters long! We observed the dolphins from the boat.

Since we went on a small boat, here are some points to consider:

Pros: The small boat can anchor close to the coral reef, allowing us to get near the fish areas without swimming too much. With fewer people, it feels more private.
Cons: There are only two seats with backrests. The other two seats are like benches on the side, so it feels scary unless you hold onto something to avoid being thrown around. There was only one staff member who acted as both the driver and the guide. The boat goes quite fast, so motion sickness medication is a must.

送迎なしのため、船着き場まではuberで$20で行きました。4人で申し込んだところ、船に乗るのは私達だけでした。他の参加者【全員英語圏】も家族ごとに別の船だったようです。ブロウホールを見学したあと、キャプテンクック岬でシュノーケリングしました。たくさんの熱帯魚が見られます。そのあとイルカを探しに行き、キャプテンホエールという体長5mの大きなイルカの群れに遭遇できました！イルカは船上からの観察です。

小さいボートで行くので以下をご参考に。

メリット：船が小さいので珊瑚礁の近くに停泊できる。したがってあまり泳がなくても魚エリアに近づける。少人数なのでプライベート感がある。
デメリット：背もたれのある座席は2席のみ。あとの2席は側面のベンチのような椅子に座るので、何かにつかまっていないと飛ばされそうで怖い。船のスタッフは運転手兼ガイドの1名のみ。かなりスピードを出すので酔い止めは必須。

The new moon was clear, and the starry sky was amazing. I was moved. The staff were friendly, and I was able to enjoy the tour without feeling awkward. The explanations of the night sky using a laser pointer were also easy to understand. However, being on a mountain over 4,000 meters high was indeed tiring.
