I participated in the Ishigaki Island Starry Sky & Jungle Night Tour. A friendly and knowledgeable guide picked me up at my hotel just before 8 PM. Fortunately, it was still before the moon rose, so we changed our plans to do stargazing first and headed near Banna Park. During the drive, we encountered a Ryukyu Scops Owl, and I was impressed by its small and cute appearance. During the stargazing, in addition to the classic Winter Triangle, we were able to see the "Great Hexagon." The guide provided detailed information about the positions and names of the stars and constellations using a light, making it easy to spot them (there are so many more stars than I imagined compared to urban areas!). I appreciate the guide's flexible approach.

On the Jungle Night Tour, each of us was lent a light, and we explored around Ohama Beach. In the jungle leading to the beach, we were introduced to a variety of tropical plants such as banyan trees, akou, hibiscus, and taro, along with explanations about their names and origins. When we reached the beach, we were greeted by small hermit crabs on the sandy shore. It was cute and impressive to see them hiding in their shells when illuminated by the light. Later, near the beach, the guide found our target for the night, the coconut crab. It was about the size of one and a half adult fists, and its slow walking was both charming and amusing. It seems that there are days when you might not encounter them, so I felt incredibly lucky.

The approximately two-hour tour was very fulfilling and went by in a flash. I would love to participate again if given the chance. Next time, I want to visit in the summer to enjoy the summer night sky and observe the flora and fauna, experiencing a different side of Ishigaki Island's nature. I look forward to it!

石垣島 星空&ジャングルナイトツアー に参加しました。
感じの良くとても石垣島に詳しいガイドさんに、20時前にホテルまで迎えに来ていただきました。幸い月がまだ出ていない時間帯だったので、”月が出てしまう前に”と、先に星空観察に変更し、バンナ公園近くまでいきました。移動中にリュウキュウコノハズクと出会い、小柄な可愛さに感動しました。星空観察では、定番の冬の大三角に加えて「大六角」まで見ることができました。観察中は、ガイドさんが細かく星の位置や名称、星座に至るまでライトで示しながら教えていただいたので、すぐに見つけることができます（都市部と比較して、想像を超すほど星が多い！）。ガイドさんの柔軟な対応に感謝します。
ジャングルナイトツアーでは、一人一人にライトを貸していただき、大浜海岸付近を散策しました。海岸までのジャングルでは、ガジュマル、アコウ、ハイビスカス、クワズイモなど南国特有の多様な植物を、名前の由来など様々な解説とともに紹介していただきました。海岸に着いたら、まず砂浜に小柄なヤドカリがお出迎え。ライトで照らすと貝殻の中に隠れる姿が可愛く印象的でした。その後、海岸近くの洞窟では、ガイドさんが今回のお目当てであった「ヤシガニ」を見つけてくれました。大人の拳1.5個ぐらいの大きさで、ノソノソと歩く姿は、微笑ましく面白いですね。日によっては遭遇できない時もあるようなので、ものすごくラッキーでした。
約2時間のツアーは、とても充実しておりあっという間で、また機会があればぜひ参加したいと思いました。次回は、夏に行って夏の星空や動植物を見るなど、冬とは違った石垣島の自然を満喫したいと思いました。その時はまたよろしくお願いします！

I went to Ishigaki Island and suddenly the tour I was supposed to join got canceled, so I was looking for another tour and decided to join this one because I wanted to see the coconut crab!
First, I was shown a really beautiful night view, and I was impressed by how bright Ishigaki Island is!
Since it was winter, we had the night safari all to ourselves, which allowed us to explore freely! The guide's explanations were thorough and easy to understand, so we had a great time exploring!
We discovered a somewhat goofy coconut crab, and it was cute to see the guide so happy about it, haha.
There were a few little mishaps, but it turned out to be a very memorable tour! Thank you very much! I will definitely come back! Looking forward to it again!

石垣島に行って突然行くはずだったツアーがなくなり、他のツアーを探していてヤシガニが見たくてこのツアーに参加させていただきました!!
最初にすごくきれいな夜景を見せてもらい、こんなに石垣島って明るいんだなーって感動しました!!
ナイトサファリは冬と言うこともあり、私達だけのグループですごく自由に散策することができました!!お兄さんの説明も丁寧でわかりやすかったので、楽しく楽探検することができよかったです♪
ちょっとマヌケなヤシガニを発見し、お兄さんが嬉しそうなのが可愛かったです笑

This is a day trip tour departing from Ishigaki Island, visiting Iriomote, Yufu, and Taketomi Islands in that order. The day before, the Yaeyama Islands were cold, but the day of the tour was sunny and a bit warm. Upon arriving at Iriomote Island, we cruised along the Nakama River at low tide, and the mangroves looked beautiful. Since it had warmed up, we spotted a large number of southern fiddler crabs on the tidal flats. According to our cruise guide, they couldn't be seen the day before due to the cold, so we were lucky. We then took a water buffalo cart from Iriomote Island to Yufu Island. While riding the cart, we learned that the buffalo are raised gently without training. The entire island is a subtropical plant paradise, and after lunch, we enjoyed a pleasant stroll through the island's nature and sandy beaches. Upon arriving at Taketomi Island, we visited Hoshizuna Beach, known for its star sand. After that, we rode the famous water buffalo cart in the center of the island, touring the main points and enjoying Okinawan songs played on the sanshin. A friendly assistant accompanied us from Ishigaki Island, but different guides were responsible for each sightseeing spot. The time management was well organized, and it felt like a very well-coordinated tour.

朝、石垣島を出発して１日で西表・由布・竹富島の順番で回る日帰りツアーです。前日まで八重山列島地方は寒かったですが、ツアーに参加した日は晴れて少し暖かかったです。最初に西表島に到着すると、干潮になったときのタイミングで仲間川をクルージングしますが、マングローブはきれいに見えました。暖かくなったので干潟で大量のミナミコメツキガニを見かけました。クルーズのガイドさんによると、前日は寒くて見れなかったそうですがラッキーでした。西表島から水牛車に乗り、由布島に到着します。水牛車に乗っているときに牛は調教せずに優しく育てていることを教えてくれました。島全体が亜熱帯植物楽園で昼食後、小さい島の自然や砂浜を楽しく散策しました。竹富島に到着すると星の砂が取れる星砂の浜を訪れます。その後、島の中心部で名物である水牛車に乗車して主要なポイントを巡り、三線を使った沖縄の歌を聞いて楽しむことができました。石垣島からフレンドリーアシスタントが同行しますが、各観光地で担当するガイドさんが異なります。時間管理がされていて、非常に良く連携されているいいツアーに感じました。

Originally scheduled for December 30, it was changed to December 31 due to bad sea conditions. The terminal check-in is smooth but a bit crowded. Stickers are applied, and passengers are sorted. The ferry was stable and didn't sway much. The weather was cloudy with occasional rain, but even on New Year's Eve, it was over 15°C, so a coat is essential, but it was manageable. However, the water buffalo cart to Yubujima crossed in strong winds, which was a bit chilly.

This is actually my second time, but unlike before, the boat ride on the river in Iriomote Island is now just a round trip without landing, which is a bit boring. Other than that, the water buffalo carts on Yubujima and Taketomi Island have a different atmosphere and are quite nice.

If I had to say something, I think it would be nice to have Okinawa soba for lunch, and the free time on Taketomi Island feels a bit short. Overall, I think the meeting place, the way we moved around, and the time allocation were fairly good.

もともとは12月30日の予定でしたが、海況が悪く、12月31日に変更となりました。
ターミナルの受付はスムーズですが、やや混みます。
シールを貼って、振り分けされます。
フェリーは安定していてあまり揺れませんでした。
天気は曇り時々雨でしたが、大晦日でも15℃以上はあるので、コートは必須ですが、大丈夫でした。
ただ、由布島へ行く水牛車は暴風の中渡りました。ちょっと寒かったです。

実は2回目ですが、以前と違って西表島の川を船で行くのは、上陸なしで、行って帰ってくるだけとなっておりちょっと退屈です。
その他は由布島と竹富島も水牛車に乗りますが、雰囲気は変わって、いい感じです。

敢えて言うなら、昼食は沖縄そばがあってもいいと思うのと、竹富島での自由時間がちょっと短いなと言うのが感想です。
全体的には集合場所、周り方、時間配分とまあまあ良かったと思います。

It seems that due to the temporary suspension of GoTo Travel, there were only two participants. We toured Ishigaki Island in a clockwise direction, getting off at various points of interest. At Kabira Park, we decided not to add the glass boat option, as it would have taken up all our time on the boat, and it turned out to be the right choice for us to explore freely. Although it was said that the winter scenery isn't that beautiful, I personally enjoyed the chance to leisurely admire the beautiful ocean views of Ishigaki Island. The guide provided thorough explanations and directions during our journey to each sightseeing spot and after arriving at the attractions. I was moved by the beautiful Okinawan songs played on the sanshin, and for the first time in my life, I was able to touch the snake skin part of the sanshin.

GoToトラベルの一時停止扱いになったせいか２人の参加でした。石垣島をぐるっと時計回りに見どころのポイントで下車して回りました。川平公園ではグラスボートのオプションを付けるとボートだけの時間になってしまうということで、オプションを付けず自由散策にしましたが正解でした。冬場はそれほどきれいではないとのことでしたが、私的にはきれいな石垣島の海の景色をゆっくりと眺めることができました。ガイドさんに各観光地までの道中や観光地到着後、丁寧に案内・説明していただきました。三線を使った沖縄の歌が上手くて感動し、生まれて初めて三線の蛇皮の部分を触らせていただきました。

I participated in the night safari and stargazing this time. From the beginning of the trip, it was very cold, and I hardly got to see any animals during the night safari. However, thanks to our guide, I was able to hear valuable stories about Okinawan culture and the island's nature, and I learned a lot about the plants we saw during the tour, making the time fly by.

Although the weather was cloudy during the stargazing, we were able to move by car through the gaps in the clouds and enjoy the Milky Way and winter constellations. I was amazed by the many beautiful stars that are hard to see in the city. I would love to visit Ishigaki again and would like to challenge the night safari once more.

今回ナイトサファリ、星空観測を目的に参加させていただきました。旅行の始まりからとても寒く、ナイトサファリは動物に会うことはほとんどできませんでした。しかしガイドさんの案内で沖縄の文化や島の自然について貴重なお話を聞かせていただいたほか、ツアー中に見える植物について詳しく教えていただきあっという間に時間が過ぎていました。
星空観測では天気も曇り空でしたが、雲の合間をぬって車で移動してくださり、天の川や冬の星座を堪能することができました。なかなか都会では見ることのできないたくさんの綺麗な星に驚きままた。また石垣へ遊びに行きたいと思います。もう一度ナイトサファリにチャレンジしたいと思います。

During the day, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the starry sky. The guide was very friendly, and it was a lot of fun to talk with them! Although we couldn't see the stars, we were taken to a night view spot that wasn't in the guidebook, and we were able to enjoy a panoramic view of Ishigaki Island's night scenery. As for the night safari, since it was winter, we hardly saw any animals. However, we were lucky enough to see an owl, which is something rare. Thank you very much.

この日は、日中曇っていたので、星空を見ることはできませんでした。ガイドさんは、とても気さくな方で、お話がとても楽しかったです！星空は見れませんでしたが、ガイドブックに載っていない夜景スポットに案内していただき、石垣島の夜景を一望することができました。その後のナイトサファリですが、冬ということもあり、生き物はほとんど見れませんでした。しかし、滅多に見ることができないフクロウを見ることができたので、よかったです。

I participated in stargazing and a night safari.

From Ishigaki Port Terminal, we drove around to various points. During the stargazing, we were able to see the night sky while the guide illuminated the stars with a light and explained the stars and constellations, so I could clearly understand which stars were being pointed out. It was very interesting. By chance, we were also able to see a shooting star! It seems that sometimes you can see satellites as well.

During the night safari, perhaps due to the season, we couldn't find any coconut crabs, but we had a great time exploring while listening to stories about plants and creatures. I was really impressed when the guide found a stick insect camouflaged on a branch.

星空鑑賞とナイトサファリに参加しました。

石垣港ターミナルから、車で各ポイントをまわってくださいました。
星空鑑賞では、夜空を見ながらライトで星を照らし、星や星座の説明をしていただけたので、どの星のことをさしているかちゃんと分かりました。とても興味深かったです。そして偶然、流れ星も見ることができました！人工衛星が見られるときもあるようです。
ナイトサファリでは、時期的なこともあってかヤシガニは見つかりませんでしたが、植物や生き物の話を聞きながら、楽しく探検できました。ガイドさんが枝に擬態しているナナフシを見つけた時はさすがだと思いました。

Although the weather was bad during the rainy season, it was a very satisfying tour! The guides were all very kind and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

The schedule was well-organized, allowing us to make effective use of our time. The weather wasn't great, but we enjoyed each island. Cycling on Taketomi Island was also nice. Each of the guides was very kind.

スケジュールがしっかりしており、時間を有効に使えました。天気はイマイチでしたが、それぞれの島ごとに、満喫できました。竹富島のサイクリングも良かったです。それぞれのガイドの方もとても親切でした。

I participated hoping to create memories for my child, but in the end, I enjoyed it even more. Every time I encountered unfamiliar plants and insects, I was reminded of the excitement I felt as a child when I desperately caught crayfish and pond snails. I had a very satisfying experience that I wouldn't normally feel in my daily life. Additionally, seeing the insects living their lives so earnestly made me feel that it was a good experience for my child as well. The purpose of this trip was to "see the most beautiful starry sky in Japan!" but the night safari seems to have become a more memorable experience. Of course, the starry sky was beautiful too! Thank you to our sunny guide. I truly made wonderful memories with my son!

子供の思い出作りになればと参加しましたが終わってみれば私のほうが楽しんでしまいました。見慣れない植物や虫たちに出会うたび子供の頃ザリガニとかタニシとか必死でとってた時のワクワクを思い出しました。
普段の生活では感じる事のないリアルな体験が出来て大変満足しています。
また、一生懸命に生きている虫たちの姿をみて子供にも良い経験になったと感じています。今回の旅行の目的は「日本一キレイな星空を見る事！」でしたが
ナイトサファリのほうが思い出深くなりそうです。もちろん星空もキレイでしたよ！　晴れ男のガイドさんありがとうございました。本当に息子との良い思い出が出来ました！！

If you take a glass-bottom boat in the main Kawahira Bay, you will have very little time to enjoy the scenery, which was the only downside. Everything else was almost satisfactory.

メインの川平湾でグラスボートに乗ってしまうと、じっくり風景を楽しむ時間が非常に少なくなってしまい、その点だけがマイナスポイントでした。
その他はほぼ満足でした。

I was expecting a perfect starry sky, but it was cloudy and I couldn't see the stars, which was disappointing. You can't win against nature. However, I am very grateful for the guide's thoughtfulness. I want to try again.

曇り空で星空見れず残念でした。　自然には勝てない。
ただ、ガイドさんの気遣いに感謝感謝。

I was able to see rare mangroves up close, cross the sea while being gently rocked by cute water buffalo, and learn about the unseen history and circumstances of the island through the guide's interesting and captivating stories. I was satisfied with everything.

珍しいマングローブを間近に見て、かわいい水牛に揺られて海を渡り、ガイドさんの面白く興味惹かれる話で目には映らない島の歴史や事情、今や思いをしりました。全てにおいて満足でした。

I think this is a great tour that allows you to efficiently visit the highlights of Ishigaki Island. Fortunately, the weather was favorable, and I was able to fully enjoy Kabira Bay, which I had been looking forward to. If I had to be picky, it felt a bit rushed, and the return ended at the bus center, so I had to take a taxi back to my hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. (I wish they had made that clear in advance.)

石垣島の見どころを効率的に回れる良いツアーだと思います。幸い天候に恵まれ、楽しみにしていた川平湾も存分に楽しむことができました。欲を言うと、ちょっと慌ただしいのと、帰りがバスセンター着で、ホテルにはタクシーで帰らなければならないのが今一つでした。（その旨を明示しておいて欲しい。）

It was a night tour with a light drizzle, but the tour guide was kind and attentive. I was able to spot bats and coconut crabs, making it a satisfying tour.

雨がぱらつくナイトツアーでしたが、ツアーガイドさんも優しく気が利いていて。コウモリやヤシガニも探すことができ満足するツアーでした。

I was glad to be dropped off at the airport in the end. I think it would be good to include that on the last day. However, the only place I really enjoyed was Kabira Bay, so I have doubts about the significance of participating.

最後に空港で降ろしてもらえたのがよかった。最終日に組み込むとよいと思います。
ただ行ってよかったのは川平湾くらいなので参加する意義があるのかというと疑問でした。

The round trip shuttle bus took just under 2 hours and was quite crowded... I was able to see a lot of wildlife.

生き物はたくさん見られました。

First, we took a bus to the coast. I was half-expecting to see nocturnal animals, and it started with a welcome from a habu snake, followed by hermit crabs, crabs, and fireflies. This was just the beginning, as we also encountered giant bats and even coconut crabs. The guide discovered a particularly impressive giant coconut crab, which delighted everyone, especially the kids. Before we set off, they provided strong flashlights and insect repellent, and since the guide led the way, we felt safe even with the habu around.

Next, we went up to a hill overlooking Ishigaki Town. We were supposed to observe the starry sky here, but unfortunately, it was cloudy. Although we only got an introduction to the constellations in our imagination, we learned that Ishigaki makes efforts to reduce streetlights to enhance the visibility of the night sky, which made me want to visit again. From this spot, we could see the night view of Ishigaki City, making it easy to identify supermarkets and shopping districts.

On the way back to the city, we observed an owl that we heard calling from the hilltop sitting on a power line. During the bus ride, the guide shared various stories about Ishigaki, including their experiences living there, making the two hours enjoyable without a dull moment.

Even with a rental car, it takes courage to go out with kids at 8 PM, but with a tour, it's reassuring. Especially recommended for those with small children.

まずバスに乗って海岸へ。夜行動物がそんなに見れるかなと期待半ばでしたが、ハブのお迎えに始まり、ヤドカリ、カニ、ホタル、このあたりは序の口で、巨大なコウモリ、さらにヤシガニも登場しました。特にヤシガニは小さなのにつづき、迫力ある巨大サイズをガイドさんが発見し、一同大喜び。子どもにはたまらんでしょう。出発前に光の強い懐中電灯や虫除けスプレーを用意してくれていますし、ガイドさんが先導してくれるのでハブがいても安心です。
次に石垣の町を見下ろす丘の上へ。ここで星空観察のはずでしたが、残念ながら曇天。イメージだけの星座紹介ですが、石垣は夜空がきれいに見えるよう、街灯を極力減らす努力をしているなど、環境面の説明を受けると、もう一度来てみたいとの気持ちに。石垣市街地の夜景を一望できるので、スーパーや繁華街がよくわかります。
市街地へ戻ると途中は、丘の上で鳴き声を聞いたフクロウが、電線にいるのを観察。バス車内では、ガイドさんが在住経験含め、石垣のあれこれを語ってくれるので、飽きることのない2時間です。
レンタカーがあっても、夜8時から子連れで野外に出かけるのは勇気が必要ですが、ツアーなら安心です。ハブも出ますしね…。小さな子どもを連れた方々には特におすすめです。

It turned out to be a very enjoyable day. I was anxious about how things would go with the bad weather, but I was welcomed by the cute water buffaloes, creating wonderful memories. Since I could choose my own return boat time, after touring the village with the water buffaloes, I was able to rent a bicycle from the neighboring building and go to the beach and some nearby places. I recommend bringing a raincoat as it seems to rain a lot during this season. Even when it rained along the way, I had no problem riding the bicycle thanks to the raincoat. I would like to visit again on a sunny day.

とても楽しい一日になりました。
天候が悪い中どうなるかと不安でしたが、、
可愛い水牛さん達にに迎えられステキな思い出となりました。帰りの船の時間が自分で選べるため、水牛さんとの村観光の後、隣の建物て自転車を借りてビーチや少しはなれた場所まで行くことも出来ました。
いまの時期は雨が多いそうですので雨ガッパをお持ちになることをお勧めします。途中雨が降っても雨カッパのおかげで問題なく自転車に乗れました。
今度は晴れた日に又訪れたいです。

I researched various options to make the most of our last day. We found a half-day tour around Ishigaki Island. Our flight was at 14:50. The tour included a guide, lunch, and transportation to the airport. The guide's entertaining conversations and Okinawan folk songs made the experience enjoyable. We arrived at the airport by 13:30. It turned out to be the best final day.

最終日無駄なく過ごす為色々調べました。有りました。私達は14:50発のフライトでした。石垣島一周半日ツアー。ガイド、ランチ、空港まで・・ガイドのおじさんの楽しい会話、沖縄民謡、空港には13:30到着。
最高の最終日になりました。

You can take a tour around Ishigaki Island. It was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, and I was able to enjoy it in a short amount of time. The guide was a local, and their stories were interesting, so I never got bored. Lunch was included, and it featured small dishes that allowed us to taste a bit of the local cuisine, which was also tailored for tourists.

It was unfortunate that the weather was bad, but even with that, I had a great time. I recommend it for beginners.

石垣島を一周出来ます。初めての石垣島旅行でしたので、短い時間で楽しめました。ガイドさんは地元出身の方で、話も面白く、退屈しませんでした。昼食付きでしたが、昼食は、地元のものが少しずつ味わえる小鉢付きで、そちらも観光客向けでした。
天気が悪くて残念でしたが、それを差し引いても、楽しめました。ビギナーにはオススメです。

We participated as a three-generation family. Thanks to the GO TO Travel program, it was quite a bargain. The only downside was the weather, which was mostly cloudy with light rain, but we had a satisfying five hours thanks to the male guide's clear and enjoyable talk. With live performances of the sanshin and singing, we really felt like we were in Ishigaki, and we were able to efficiently tour around Ishigaki.

親子３代で参加しました。GO TOトラベルのおかげで、だいぶお得でした。
お天気だけが残念で曇りと小雨がほとんどでしたが、男性ガイドさんのわかりやすく楽しいトークで満足な５時間でした。
三線の生演奏に生歌付きで、「石垣に来てる～」という実感もわき、効率よく石垣周遊ができました。

Unfortunately, due to the rain and wind, and the cold wave clouds that hit Honshu, we were unable to see many stars in Ishigaki Island.

However, it was enjoyable to listen to the staff talk about Ishigaki Island, its wildlife, and history while exploring the seaside. Although there weren't many creatures around, the staff worked hard to find various things for us. We did manage to see a coconut crab as well.

雨風あり、本州を襲った寒波の雲も石垣島に沢山流れているコンディションだったので残念ながら星はほとんど観られませんでした。

ですがスタッフさんの石垣島の事や生物や歴史のお話を聞きながら海辺を観て周り楽しかったです。
生き物がなかなかいなかったのですがスタッフさんが懸命に探してくれたので色々見つかりました。一応ヤシガニも観れました。

You can efficiently visit the tourist spots on Ishigaki Island. It's especially recommended for beginners to Ishigaki Island. The weather on the day of participation wasn't very good, but you can enjoy it regardless of the weather. The meals were delicious and served in a place with a great view.

石垣島の観光地を効率よく廻れる。特に石垣島ビギナーの方にはおすすめ。参加当日の天気はあまり良くなかったが。天候に関係なく楽しめる。食事も眺めの良い場所で美味しかった。

I visited Kohama Island separately, so I went on a tour of three islands. The hotel provided transportation, and the tour was well-organized and fulfilling. I enjoyed my free time on both Yubu Island and Taketomi Island.

小浜島は別でいったので、3島巡りにしました。
ホテルからの送迎付きで、内容も充実していて良かったです。
由布島も、竹富島も、自由時間があり満喫できました。

I participated because I wanted to see the stars from Ishigaki Island! Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, and we couldn't observe the stars, but I was really glad to see the wildlife and the night view of Ishigaki Island! The guide was very considerate, which made me feel at ease during the experience! If I have the chance to go to Ishigaki Island again, I would love to participate!

I participated in a paid glass-bottom boat tour at Kabira Bay, and it seems that there is a nearby Ōmotō Sake Brewery, which would also be enjoyable to visit. Depending on the weather, the clarity of the water's surface may change, so it might be a good idea to skip the glass-bottom boat and visit the black pearl store or the Ōmotō Sake Brewery instead. Given the season, the weather wasn't great, and I honestly felt that the clarity wasn't very high. However, I was satisfied because I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle.

On the way back, I didn't get off at the airport since I was on the evening Peach flight, but I had no explanation about the mangrove forest at Miyara River, so I had no idea where it was. Mangroves themselves are not particularly rare in Yaeyama, so there might not be much to explain. I might not use this service again, but if it's your first time in Ishigaki Island, I think it's a tour you can't go wrong with.

川平湾でわたしは有料のグラスボートに参加したのですが、近くに於茂登酒造があるようでそこを見学しても楽しめたようです。天気によっては水面の透明度など変わってくると思うので、天気の状況によってグラスボートに参加せず黒真珠の店舗をみたり於茂登酒造を見学してもいいのかもしれません。時節柄もあって天候がよくなく透明度は正直それほど高くなかったように感じました。ウミガメは運よく？みられたので満足はしましたが。
帰りは夕方のピーチ便利用だったので空港では下車しませんでしたが、宮良川のヒルギ林については説明もなくどこだかまったくわかりませんでした。マングローブ自体は八重山では珍しいものでもないので特に説明することもないのかもしれませんが…
二度は利用しないかもしれないけど、石垣島が初めてであれば利用してみて間違いのないツアーだと思います。

I was looking for a tour that would allow us to take our one-year-old and enjoy sightseeing at a leisurely pace. Perhaps due to the impact of COVID-19, the bus and water buffalo cart were private, allowing just our family to enjoy the experience. This was my second visit to Kaiji Beach, but I remember it being more beautiful with more star sand when I visited over a decade ago. We were able to leisurely admire the houses and scenery of Taketomi Island, spend our time slowly, and create wonderful memories as a family.

1歳児連れての観光なので、なるべくゆっくり観光できるツアーを探していました。コロナの影響もあってかバス、水牛車は貸切で、私たち家族だけで楽しむことができました。カイジ浜は2度目でしたが、十数年前に訪れた時の方がもっと星の砂があって綺麗な印象でした。竹富島の家や風景をのんびり見られて、ゆっくり過ごせて、家族のいい思い出ができました。

The starry sky was very beautiful, and I was able to see the Milky Way, Orihime, and Hikoboshi. I also saw shooting stars! From the car, I think I saw a Japanese scops owl? I was able to see a small owl three times, and there were fireflies flying around, and we even found firefly larvae. Additionally, the staff caught a habu snake and a coconut crab, making for a truly rare experience!

星空はとても綺麗で天の川や織姫、彦星も見れました。流れ星も見れましたよ！
車の中からはコノハズクでしたか？小さいフクロウが3度も見れましたし、蛍が飛んでいたり蛍の幼虫も見つけてくれました。
他にはスタッフがハブを捕まえたり、ヤシガニも捕まえてくれて本当に珍しい体験が出来ました！
