This time, I participated in the VELTRA tour program "Mangrove SUP or Canoe Plan" with my family. Unlike the recent heat, it was pleasantly cool due to the typhoon's influence. We took photos together in the Yaeyama mangrove forest. Before getting on the kayak, we were lucky enough to spot a crab. It looked delicious, but I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't take it home, so we let it go. ^_^

Since it was my first time kayaking, I initially struggled and spun around in the river. However, with the guidance of our instructor, Aoi, I gradually got the hang of it. I heard that there are over 100 different types of plants in the Yaeyama mangrove. The water there is a mix of river and seawater, which has a high salt content, making it toxic to regular plants. I learned for the first time that these plants have survived for hundreds of years by collecting the toxins in specific leaves and dropping them. We spotted various animals living there. On the way back, it was wonderful to see the surrounding plants and hear the birds while progressing through the river, enjoying the scenery.

今度は家族を連れてVELTRAのツアープログラム「マングローブSUPorカヌー付きプラン」を参加しました。先日の暑さと違って台風の影響で涼しくなり気持ち良かったです。ヤエヤマヒルギの林にで家族と一緒に写真を取りました。カヤックに乗る前に運よくガニを見つけました。おいしそうに見えるけど持ち帰れないので逃がしたのは少し残念でした。^_^
カヤックを漕ぐのがはじめてなので最初はコンビーならず川の中でぐるぐる回りましたが。ガイドのAOIさんの指導があって段々なれるようになりました。ヤエヤマヒルギにいろんな植物があり100種以上と聞きました。そこの水は川と海水を混じった物で塩分が高いため、通常の植物に毒になり生存することができないが。そこの植物がその毒を特定の葉に集めて落すことで何百年も行き続けたのをはじめて聞きました。そこに生息する色んな動物を見つかりました。帰りには周囲の植物を見たり、鳥の声を聞いたりしながら川の中に進んでいく周りの風景を見るのが最高です。
　

The glass-bottom boat at Kawahira Bay, which I was looking forward to the most, was canceled due to the impact of Typhoon No. 4, so I couldn't ride it. However, the guide provided easy-to-understand explanations, and the meeting time was reasonable, so overall, it was enjoyable. The guide also sang folk songs using a sanshin, and they were a great singer. I'm glad I participated.

1番楽しみにしていた川平湾のグラスボートは台風4号の影響で船が欠航してしまい、乗れなかったのですが、ガイドさんが分かり易い説明をしてくれて、集合時間も無理のない時間だったので総合的には楽しかったです。
ガイドさんが三線を使って民謡などを歌ってくださり、歌が上手でした。
参加してよかったと思いました。

You can visit the tourist spots in Ishigaki Island in a short time, and the guide provides explanations. The lunch was also delicious, featuring many local ingredients from Ishigaki Island.

短時間で石垣島の観光スポットを回れ、ガイドさんが説明してくれます。ランチも石垣島素材が沢山あって美味しかった。

I used this service during my stay in Naha on a cruise trip.
Departing from Naha Port at 8:00 AM, we visited Shurijo Castle Park, Sefa Utaki, and Peace Memorial Park, making sure to arrive at the reservation for the Valley of Gangala by 12:40 PM.
I was impressed by how much we were able to see in such a short time. Thank you very much.

クルーズ旅行の那覇滞在中に利用しました。
那覇港8時発→首里城公園→斎場御嶽→平和祈念公園→ガンガラーの谷予約12時40分に合わせて、回っていただきました。
短時間でよくこれだけまわれたなと思っています。ありがとうございました。

The guide's talk was interesting, but the lunch was just okay. Everything else was great! The guide was really good, though.

I was able to experience both the SUP tour and the snorkeling tour in one day! They pick you up by car, so it was fun to hear stories about Ishigaki Island during the ride. Even if you're a beginner, they teach you how to ride and paddle on the SUP. During snorkeling, they told us the names of the fish, and it was really enjoyable in the beautiful sea. Thank you very much!

I signed up for the stargazing night photo tour on short notice, and it became the best memory! I was able to see many beautiful stars, the Milky Way, and shooting stars that I can't see from where I usually live. Even now, after returning from the trip, I find myself reminiscing and feeling healed by those memories. The guide who assisted us was very kind and not only explained the flow of the shooting, points, and poses but also shared recommended spots in Miyako Island. I highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to Miyako Island! Thank you for the wonderful experience!＾＾

急遽申し込ませていただいた星空ナイトフォトツアーでしたが、最高の思い出になりました！
普段住んでいるところからは見ることのできないたくさんの綺麗な星、天の川、流れ星を見ることができ、旅行から帰ってきた今でも思い返しては癒されています。
担当してくださったガイドさんがとても親切で、撮影の流れやポイント、ポーズ等はもちろん、宮古島でのおすすめスポットも教えてくださいました。

When visiting Miyako Island, I can confidently say, "You absolutely should participate!" It was the best tour! The filming location was Kurima Island, and I was able to take the best photos under a sky full of stars like I've never seen before.

宮古島を訪れるときは、「絶対に参加したほうがいい！」と太鼓判を捺せるくらいの最高のツアーでした！
撮影場所は、来間島でしたが、見たことのない満天の星空での下で最高の写真を撮ってもらえました。

I participated in the rising canoe and Blue Cave snorkeling tour from the morning. The mangrove canoe experience was honestly mediocre. We were asked to help load the canoes onto a truck and transport them to the river, which felt off since we were paying for the tour. I think the operators need to make some improvements. The person in charge was doing their best and was likable, but the course to see the mangroves was short and lacked any explanations, leaving me completely unsatisfied. Additionally, although it was a sunrise tour, there were hotels built in the spot where the sun rises, so we couldn't see it.

Overall, I cannot recommend the mangrove canoe tour.

Now for my thoughts on the Blue Cave snorkeling tour. The weather was great, making it an amazing experience. On the day of the tour, the water was very clear, and I could see quite deep. I encountered a clownfish and even two sea turtles! I was able to see many beautiful fish as well. I've done snorkeling and diving in various places, but this level of snorkeling is incredible! The guide, Ryotaro, was very pleasant and entertaining. He engaged with all the participants in the car, sharing recommendations for restaurants and interesting facts about Ishigaki Island, which left a good impression. I absolutely recommend this tour! It can be affected by the weather, but if it's sunny, it's the best!

朝からのライジングカヌーと青の洞窟シュノーケルツアーに参加しました。
マングローブカヌーは、正直微妙でした。
川にエントリーするためのカヌーを参加者男性でトラックに乗せて、降ろして川まで運ぶ作業を手伝わされます。
お金を払ってツアー参加してるのに、、
なんだかな、、という感じでした。
運営側の工夫が必要だと思いました。
担当の方は頑張っていて好感を持てました。ただ、マングローブを見るコースは短く解説なども無いため全く物足りないです。またサンライズツアーですが、日が昇る場所にホテルが建っていて上がるところは見られません。
総合的にマングローブカヌーツアーは、私はおススメ出来ません。

ここから青の洞窟シュノーケルツアーの感想です。
天気にも恵まれ最高の体験となりました。
当日は、海の透明度も高くかなり深くまで目視できました。
隠れクマノミにも海亀にも遭遇できました。しかも、海亀は2匹！！
その他にも沢山のお魚が綺麗に見る事ができました。
色々な場所でシュノーケルやダイビングをしてきましたが、シュノーケルでこのレベルは凄いです！
ガイドのリョウタロウさんも大変感じ良く楽しませてくれました。
車中でも参加者皆んなに話しかけ、オススメのお店の紹介や石垣島豆知識を話してくれるなど、楽しませようとする姿勢が好印象でした。
こちらのツアーは、絶対オススメです！
天候にも左右されますが晴れたら最高です。

The stars were incredibly beautiful and overwhelming! The person who took the photos also chatted with us to help us relax, making for a pleasant photo session.

I was worried about the mangrove canoe tour in the light rain, but it was actually the best!
Even though it was July, it wasn't too hot or too cold, and the river flow was gentle, allowing us to enjoy canoeing very comfortably.
During the bus ride and throughout the tour, our guides Yume and Yumi taught us a lot about Iriomote Island, mangroves, and the creatures that inhabit the area, which was very educational!
Both adults and elementary school children were extremely satisfied.

小雨の中でのマングローブカヌーツアーで心配していましたが、むしろ最高でした！
７月なのに暑くなく寒くなく、川の流れも穏やかで、とても快適にカヌーを楽しむことができました。
バスの中やツアー中は、ガイドのゆめさんとゆみさんが西表島のこと、マングローブのこと、生息している生き物のこと等色々教えてくれて非常に勉強になりました！
大人はもちろん、小学生の子どもも大満足です。

After visiting Ontake, we headed to the local area via the Niraikanai Bridge. In the valley, each group of about 20 people is accompanied by a facility guide who gives a lecture before we explore.

First, we received a lecture at a café that also serves as the meeting point, located in a large cave with numerous stalactites hanging down, which heightened our anticipation.

In the native forest of Okinawa, we were guided through caves, and on that day, excavation work was being conducted for the discovery of a prehistoric human, allowing us to hear a bit from the professor.

We took the same bus to Okinawa World, which had more visitors heading there. Both places were very interesting, and I wanted to visit both. However, since it was the day of my return home, I had limited time and got off at the airport.

御嶽に行った後、ニライカナイの橋を通って、現地に向かいます。
谷では２０名位ごとのグループに一人の施設のガイドがついて、レクチャー後に回って行きます。
まず、入口のレクチャーを受けるカフェ兼の集合場所が、いくつもの鍾乳石が垂れ下がる大きな洞窟で、期待感MAX。
沖縄の原生林の中、洞窟なども案内しれくれ、当日は、ここで見つかった原人の発掘作業もされており、教授のお話も少し聞くことができました。
隣接したおきなわワールドと同じバスで行きますので、ワールドに行く人数の方が多かったです。あちらも大変興味深く、両方とも行きたかったです。
帰宅日だったので、時間がなく、空港で下車しました。

The staff's warm and attentive hospitality was truly remarkable! They were considerate in every detail, yet it felt so natural. While this may be a daily occurrence for the staff, for me, it might only happen once in a lifetime… and I really enjoyed it! Of course, the snorkeling with the coral, sea turtles, and Nemo, etc., was explained thoroughly, and I received valuable information that created precious memories. I am sincerely grateful. I highly recommend this experience.

I rode a water buffalo for the first time. It was a unique experience that I will remember for a lifetime. The bus driver also shared stories about the island's attractions, which was enjoyable. I got caught in a downpour, but it was still a good memory.

初めて水牛にのりました。
なかなかできない体験で一生の思い出です。バスの運転手さんが、島の観光話もしてくれて楽しかったです。
スコールに当たりましたがいい思い出です。

The weather was nice, and I was able to forget about my everyday life and enjoy myself. Everything was new for the children, making it a wonderful experience for them as well. The tour staff from pipi were very kind and cheerful, and I had a great time. Thank you to our guide Shogo and Kenken, who took care of us during the night tour the day before, for the wonderful time!

I chose this tour because I wanted to experience the water buffalo on Yubu Island. It would have been difficult to visit Iriomote Island and Yubu Island on my own, so I think choosing the tour was the right decision. The lunch, although included in the tour, was also very delicious.

由布島への水牛体験がしたくて、このツアーを選びました。西表島、由布島と、個人で行くには大変だったので、ツアーにして正解だったと思います。ランチも、ツアーについているとはいえとても美味しく頂きました。

Even someone at the edge of the age limit like me was able to swim with the sea turtles comfortably.

Yama-chan's thorough explanations, consideration for our well-being, and the importance of enjoying the experience were all wonderful. Hikaru-kun took many photos and introduced us to recommended spots in Miyako Island.

I am truly grateful to both of them. For those who have concerns about age or physical fitness, rest assured that there are careful explanations and supervision, so you will be fine.

Definitely give it a try!

This is my second time using Beltora, following Ishigaki. Just like last time, the staff took safety into consideration, allowing me to enjoy the activities with peace of mind. Although I didn't see any sea turtles, it was a fulfilling experience. The photos sent in the evening became great memories.

石垣に続き2度目のベルトラさんの利用です。
前回同様にスタッフの方々に安全を配慮してもらい、安心してアクティビティを楽しむ事が出来ました。ウミガメ見れませんでしたが充実した内容でした。当時夕方に送られて来た写真いい思い出になります。

I was able to efficiently tour the remote islands for the first time. As soon as we got off the boat, a bus was waiting for us, so there was no wasted time. The sightseeing time on the island was just right.

初めての離島巡りで効率よく観光できました。
船を降りれば移動のバスが待機しており、無駄な時間がなかったです。
島での観光時間も丁度良かったです。

I participated with three friends for our first snorkeling experience. I was filled with anxiety, but thanks to our guide Yamachan's personality and attentive support, I was able to swim with peace of mind! And the sea turtles were incredibly cute and moving! It was completely different from seeing them in an aquarium!

シュノーケル初体験の３人で参加しました。不安だらけだったのですが、ガイドのやまちゃんのお人柄と丁寧な対応で、安心して泳ぐ事ができました！
そして、ウミガメ、めちゃくちゃ可愛くて感動！
水族館で見るのとは全く違う！って思いました。

We were considering traveling to Iriomote Island as a family, but since my elderly mother was with us, we decided to join a tour. The staff member who came to pick us up at the hotel had a wonderful smile that left a lasting impression, and I was moved to see that they also handled the boat operations. I'm sure all the staff are well-rounded individuals. They worked efficiently and responsibly. The explanations from the tour guide on the Nakama River were very easy to understand, and the time spent riding the water buffalo to Yubu Island calmed my usually restless heart. On the return boat, the splashes of water felt refreshing, making it a unique experience especially during the hot season. Thanks to participating in this tour, we were able to spend a happy time. Thank you very much. I would like to go to Ishigaki Island, Iriomote Island, and Yubu Island again on this tour.

西表島へは家族で行動しようと考えていたのですが、高齢の母が一緒だったこともありツアーに参加することにしました。ホテルまでお迎えに来てくださったスタッフの方の素敵な笑顔が印象的で、その方が船の業務もこなしているのを見て感動しました。きっとどのスタッフの方もオールラウンダーなのでしょう。テキパキと責任を持って働いていらっしゃいました。仲間川ではツアーガイドをされている方の説明も非常にわかりやすく、水牛に乗って由布島へ行く時間は日頃の荒ぶった心を穏やかにしてくれました。帰りのボートでは水飛沫がとても気持ちよく暑い時期だからこその体験が出来ました。このツアーに参加できたおかげで幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。またこのツアーで石垣島、西表島、由布島へ行きたいと思います。

In the morning, I enjoyed a relaxing stand-up paddleboarding session, and in the afternoon, I had a great time snorkeling in the cove. Both activities lasted about one to one and a half hours.

Although I had experience with both, I felt a bit anxious since it had been a while, but I received thorough instructions and was able to enjoy the experience. It was fine not to stand up on the paddleboard (I mostly sat), and if I felt uneasy while snorkeling, I could hold onto a float, so I think even beginners can enjoy it with confidence. The guides were very friendly and engaged in conversation, making the experience even more enjoyable.

午前中はのんびりSUP、午後は入江でシュノーケリングと1日ちょうどよく楽しめました。どちらも1時間〜1時間半ぐらいです。
どちらも経験はありましたが久しぶりだったので少し不安でしたが、丁寧にレクチャーを受け楽しく体験することができました。
SUPは無理に立たなくても大丈夫でしたし（私はほぼ座っていました）、シュノーケリングも不安ならフロートに捕まっていても問題なかったので、初めてでも安心して楽しめると思います。ガイドのみなさんもたくさん話しかけてくれるので楽しく会話しながら体験することができました。

This is my second time participating! I was very satisfied both times! I would like to request it again next year! Thank you for taking so many different shots!

I have visited Okinawa several times, but for some reason, I haven't been able to go to the Churaumi Aquarium. I decided to take a tour this time. I also enjoyed the meal at Sam's.

何度か沖縄に来ていますが、美ら海水族館に、なぜかいけず。思い切ってツアーにしてみました。サムズのお食事も、楽しませていただきました。

The early morning sea was beautiful and refreshing! I even got to meet a sea turtle! Thank you, Yamachan!

I participated with my 7-year-old grandchild. The hotel provided transportation, and I chose this tour because we could see the whale sharks, which I wanted to show my grandchild. Since we were joining from Naha, I thought we could leave by 19:10 after getting on at 8:20, so I made a reservation at the hotel restaurant for 19:30. However, we still hadn't arrived by 20:00, and I had to cancel the restaurant. I also struggled to decide where to have lunch, and since lunch was scheduled for 15:00 at Churaumi, I thought it would have been better to bring something to eat on the bus.

I think it was great to see a lot of things, but I felt that extra caution is needed when participating with small children. I also think that the fact that some people did not return by the departure time contributed to our late return. I believe that keeping to the schedule is an important part of tour etiquette.

7歳孫と参加しました。
ホテルに送迎があり、孫に見せたいジンベイザメが見られるというのでこのツアーにしました。
那覇からの参加だったので、8:20乗車で19:10には帰れるかと思い、ホテルのレストランを19:30に予約していましたが、20時になっても着かず、レストランはキャンセルしました。
昼食もどこで食べたらいいのか判断がつかず、美ら海で15時に昼食となったので、バス内で食べられるように持って行った方がよかったかと思いました。
盛りだくさんで、色々見られてよかったとは思いますが、小さい子を連れての参加には注意が必要だと思いました。
出発時刻までに戻って来ない人がいたことも帰りが遅くなった原因の一つかなと思いました。ツアーでは時刻を守ることも大事なマナーだと思います。

On our first trip to Miyako Island, we participated in a snorkeling tour as a couple. The sea at Shiraga Beach was incredibly clear, and we saw sea turtles and clownfish right in front of us! The guide was also very attentive, making us feel safe and allowing us to enjoy the experience. After the tour, we received beautiful photos as a gift, creating the best memories. I highly recommend it for beginners too!

初めての宮古島旅行でカップルでシュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。シラガビーチの海は驚くほど透明で、ウミガメやクマノミがすぐ目の前に！ガイドさんも丁寧で安心して楽しめました。ツアー後には素敵な写真もプレゼントしてもらえて、最高の思い出になりました。初心者にもおすすめです！

Until now, I had been renting a car and driving myself. This time, I used a sightseeing taxi for the first time, and even though I had driven the same roads myself, I was able to enjoy the scenery around me since I wasn't driving. Also, the driver, Mr. Nakamura, was a wonderful person who efficiently took me to my desired spots within the time limit. I was able to make the most of my limited time. Mr. Nakamura, I hope to see you again! 🎵

The aquarium was amazing, but the rest of the trip was a lot less interesting eg the pineapple farm
