It felt like I was watching an old Hawaiian tale, and I understood it very well. I thought it was just Hawaiian dance, but it actually had a proper story, and I really enjoyed it! (^o^)／

ハワイの昔ばなしを見ているかのようにとてもよくわかりました
ハワイアンダンスだけかと思ってたんですがちゃんとストーリーになっていてとても楽しめました(^o^)／

It took quite a while to get there by bus, but the authentic dance was powerful and satisfying. It was a dance with a musical-style story, and it never got boring.

行くまではバスに乗って結構時間がかかりましたけど本場の
ダンスは迫力があり満足でした、ミュージカル調のストーリのある
ダンスですが空きませんでした。

I participated with two friends.
At the bus stop, there were many buses in the same place, and while I was looking for my bus on the road, I almost missed it.
The Japanese guide was very straightforward and funny.
Once we arrived, we had free time until the return trip.
First, we had a buffet, and since we had a little time, we looked at photos and souvenirs in the park and watched a show.
The buffet for regular guests was Western food that was a bit bland for Japanese people.
Foreign children seemed to enjoy it.

友達2人で参加しました。
バスの乗り場には、同じ場所にバスが沢山いて、車道でバスを探していたらバスに乗りそびれそうになってしまいました。
ガイドの日本人の方はとてもズバズバ話される方で面白かったです。
着いたら帰りまでは、自由行動です。
まずビュッフェを食べてから、少し時間があったので園内の写真やお土産をみて、ショーを観ました。
普通の方のビュッフェは、日本人には大味な洋食です。
外国の子供は喜んでいる様子でした。

This is a place you definitely should visit when you come to Hawaii. You can experience the lifestyle of the Polynesian islands' people, such as weaving crowns from palm leaves by hand! There’s also a performance by a funny Hawaiian guy who climbs tall palm trees like a monkey to get coconuts, which is very entertaining and fulfilling. Booking through Veltra is the cheapest option, and I really had a great time!

I was able to eat a lot of my favorite foods, and they were delicious, leaving me completely full. The post-meal show, with the dance while spinning fire, had me on the edge of my seat and my heart racing.

食事も好きなものをたくさん食べれて美味しくてお腹一いっぱい。

The 90-minute Polynesian show featured Tahitian dance, hula, and fire knife performances woven into an emotional story, and it went by in a flash. The intensity of the fire knife performance was truly moving. If I come to Oahu again, I definitely want to see it once more.

90分のポリネシアンショーは感動的なストーリーの中にタヒチアンダンスやフラ、そしてファヤーナイフと次々に繰り出され、あっという間でした。ファヤーナイフの迫力は本当に感動ものです。
オアフ島に来たら、またぜひ観たいと思います。

We traveled from downtown Honolulu via hotel shuttle, which took about an hour and a half, so it's quite far from Honolulu. We arrived at the venue around the evening, where there was a buffet-style dinner in the cultural center. The design of this venue was quite elaborate, reminiscent of restaurants at Universal Studios Japan or Disney. There were a few waiters who spoke Japanese.

Inside the cultural center, there are also souvenir shops, snack stands, and juice shops. However, after dinner, there wasn't much time before the dance show, so we couldn't explore thoroughly.

The traditional dance show featured modern elements, creating a lively experience that was quite impressive. The audience seemed to be almost full. The proportion of Japanese attendees was lower than I expected. Photography with smartphones was prohibited during the dance show.

On the return bus, it felt like there were many Europeans and locals. It's important to note that we had to take a different bus on the way back, so we needed to pay close attention to what the tour guide said on the way there to avoid being left behind. The bus gathering time was right after the show, so we headed straight to the bus stop. I was exhausted and fell into a deep sleep on the way back, but it became a wonderful memory with my girlfriend.

ホノルル市内からホテルバス送迎にて移動、１時間半くらいの移動なのでホノルルからはだいぶ離れたところにあります。現地に着いたのは夕方頃、カルチャーセンター内の夕食会場でバイキング形式の物でした。この会場の造りがなかなか凝ったものでした。ＵＳＪやディズニーのレストランみたいな感じです。ウェイターさんで日本語が通じる人が数人います。
他にカルチャーセンター内にはお土産屋さんや軽食、ジュース屋さんなどが立ち並んでいます。
ですが夕食後、ダンスショーまであまり時間がなかったためじっくりは観れませんでした。

伝統的なダンスショーに近代的な仕掛けが融合しライブのような感じで見応えのあるものでした。客席もほぼ埋まっていたように思います。
日本人の割り合いは思っていたよりも少なかったです。
ダンスショー中はスマホなどで撮影は禁止とのことです。

帰りのバスは欧州系の人や現地の人が多いような気がしました。
この帰りのバスなのですが行きとは違うバスに乗るので行きの添乗員さんに言われたことをよく聞いておかないと現地に取り残されてしまいますので注意が必要です。ショーが終わってからバスの集合時間はすぐなので直でバス乗り場へ。帰りのバスは疲れて爆睡でしたが彼女との良い思い出になりました。

I was able to enjoy the indigenous people's show. It seems that even my elementary school-aged child had a good time. The food was just okay, but I enjoyed the fruit.

先住民のショーを楽しむことができました。小学生の子供にも楽しめたようです。
食事は、まあまあでした。フルーツを美味しく頂きました。

You can experience Polynesian culture!

I participated in the evening tour. After arriving at the venue, there was a buffet time, and from there until the show, we had free time. Although there was a little time during the free period, it was too large to explore completely. The buffet food was average. The show was spectacular. I was captivated. I wanted to take photos of the show, but it was prohibited, which was disappointing. I think anyone who wants to feel the culture should definitely participate.

ポリネシアンの文化に触れることができます！

私は夕方以降のツアーに参加しました。現地に到着し、ビュッフェの時間があり、そこからはショーまでの時間は自由行動でした。自由行動の間は少しだけありますが、広すぎるため回りきることはできませんでした。ビュッフェの味は普通です。
ショーは圧巻でした。釘付けになりました。
ショーの写真を撮りたかったのですが、禁止されており残念でした。
文化を感じたい方は是非参加されるといいと思います。

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the evening show. The show HA: Breath of Life was entertaining and told a nice story while demonstrating the cultural talent and beauty of Polynesian cultures. We loved seeing all the different styles of dances from different Polynesian islands (Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Hawaii, etc.) The set and backdrop were awesome! We greatly enjoyed the fire dancers! They were awesome!

We only pay for the General Admission and the Night Show Package (meal and villages activities not included), but we would suggest you to plan more time at this place! There are shops and eateries as well as a group of villages representing the cultures. Excellent opportunity to see a dance! The venue is clean and comfortable! Glad we took the trip up there!

On site, we learned there were other performances available during the day that showed the various island cultures, dances and dress. We were glad we saw HA because the dance included all those styles. We would have liked to had dinner at a food truck had we known the performance didn’t start until 7:30 PM. But we were able to still enjoy a good poke bowl at Tita’s Grill and delicious crepes from Delice Crepes (very good value for the price too). The timing allowed us to spend the day at North Shore and snorkel, then transition back to the Polynesian Cultural Center. This was a great way end a very enjoyable day.

The meal was fairly good. And the stage performance "HA" Breath of Life was amazing. I didn't understand the words at all, but it was a very, very moving performance. I want to see it again. The tour itself was very rushed, and I could only enjoy the meal and the performance, so I wished I had time to stroll around the large garden leisurely.

食事はまあまあおいしかったです。そして舞台の「HA」Breath of Lifeが最高でした。言葉は全くわからないけれど、とてもとても感動する舞台でした。また見に行きたいです。ツアー自体がとてもあわただしく食事と舞台しか楽しめなかったので広い園のなかをゆっくりと見て回る時間がほしかったです。

I visited the Polynesian Cultural Center for the first time in about 40 years. I don't remember much from back then, but I had the impression that it had changed in some way. The dancing was rough and not very synchronized, but I could feel the strength in it. The storytelling and expressiveness felt a bit lacking as well. However, the finale with the fire dance was great.

約40年ぶりにポリネシア文化センターに行きました。昔のことは良く覚えてませんが、何となく変わったなと言う印象でした。踊りは荒削りで、あまり揃ってなかったですが、力強さは感じました。
ストーリー、表現力もイマイチの感じでした。
フィナーレの炎のダンスは良かったです。

I gave a present to my mother as a way to show my appreciation. Although it took some time to get there, I was able to enjoy the show right in front of me. Since photography and video recording are not allowed during the show, let's make sure to remember it vividly.

母に親孝行でプレゼントしました。
移動時間はかかるもののショーは目の前で楽しめました。
ショー自体は写真や動画の撮影ができないので目に焼き付けましょう。

I didn't have high expectations for the meal, so I enjoyed it to some extent.
The show moved me to tears with the students' dedication!
Our guide (Maki-chan) shared a lot of knowledge with us, and despite many people sleeping on the bus, she kept the energy high and led us through the experience. I was very impressed and learned a lot! Thank you ❤

It was an atmospheric and powerful show! My parents were so moved that they took photos even though it was prohibited and got scolded! Haha. I've decided that I will definitely go when I visit Hawaii!

I have watched shows in Hawaii multiple times, but the show at the Polynesian Cultural Center was the best. It's not just a dance show; it has a story and is very moving. It's inconvenient because it's far from Waikiki, but I think it's worth visiting at least once.

ハワイで何回もショーを観ましたが、ポリネシア　カルチャーセンターのショーが一番でした。単なるダンスショーではなくストーリーがあり、感動的です。ワイキキから離れているため、不便ですが一度は訪れるべきだと思います。

Even though it was the rainy season, it was pouring when we arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
The buffet dinner in the hall featured thick slices of roast beef that were so juicy and delicious they almost overflowed from the plate! I was very satisfied with the other dishes as well.
As for the evening show, it couldn't quite compare to the Hilton Luau.

イブニングショーは、ヒルトン　ルアウには敵わないか。

After enjoying a delicious dinner with crab and a buffet, we were thrilled by the dance show. The story was well-developed, and the quality was surprisingly high, making it a show definitely worth watching.

料理もカニとビュッフェで美味しいディナーを満喫したのち、大興奮のダンスショー。
ストーリーもしっかりしていて、クオリティーが予想以上に高く見る価値ありまくりのショーでした。

I had imagined just watching the dance, but the show had a grand story that moved me.

The seats were also very good and it was the best.

I thought it would be nice if the start time was a bit earlier since we returned to the hotel a little late.

想像していたのは、ただダンスを見るだけだったのですが、
ショーには壮大なストリーがあり感動しました。

席もとても良くて最高でした。

ホテル戻りの時間が少々遅くなる為、開始時間がもう少し早いとうれしいな

The Polynesian Cultural Center is about a 1-hour bus ride from the Sheraton. During the bus ride, the guide who spoke Japanese kept the atmosphere lively, so we arrived without getting bored.
First, we had a meal at the restaurant. It was a buffet style, with crab available only once, and everything else was all-you-can-eat and drink. There was no alcohol. Many of the dishes were quite rich. Most of the staff did not speak Japanese, but it wasn't too much of a problem.
Next, we headed to the dance show venue. We had seats in the central front area, which allowed us to feel the excitement even more. The show had a storyline, so even if you don't understand English, you can follow along just by watching. The content was very moving. The show ended with a standing ovation!
Photography was completely prohibited during the show. However, at the end of the show, you can take photos with the dancers.
It became a wonderful memory.

シェラトンからバスで1時間弱のポリネシア文化センター。バスの中では日本語を話せるガイドさんが盛り上げてくれ、退屈することなく到着。
まず、レストランで食事をとります。ビュッフェ形式なっていて、蟹は1回のみで、あとは食べ飲み放題。アルコールはありません。こってりしていた料理が多かったです。店員さんは日本語が通じない方がほとんどですが、さほど困ることはありませんでした。
そして、ダンスショー会場へ。中央前方席だったので、より熱気を感じられました。ショーの内容がストーリー仕立てになっていて、英語がわからなくても観ていれば理解することができます。内容はとても感動するものでした。ショーの最後はスタンディングオベーション！
ショーの最中は一切の写真撮影が禁止です。しかし、ショーの最後にダンサーの方と写真を撮ることができます。
とてもいい思い出になりました。

The buffet was as expected, neither good nor bad. The show, despite being an hour and a half long, progressed at a good pace without dragging. It was enjoyable.

ビュッフェは想像通り可もなく不可もなく。
ショーは、1時間半あるにもかかわらず、ダラダラせずテンポ良く進みます。
楽しめます。

I arrived in the early afternoon and toured the area with a Japanese-speaking guide. Basically, it's a dance show, but when the locals explain things, the guide translates into Japanese, making it easy to understand. The evening Polynesian dance show is a must-see! The food was not great. There are also souvenir shops, but it would have been nice to have a bit more time to explore.

お昼過ぎに到着して日本語ガイドさんと一緒に見て回りました。基本的にはダンスショーなんですが、現地の人が説明してくれる時はガイドさんが日本語に通訳してくれるのでわかりやすいです。夜のポリネシアンダンスショーは必見です！食事はイマイチでした。お土産屋さんもあるんですが、もう少し見て回る時間があるとよかったです。

It felt a bit cooler than Waikiki, possibly because it's slightly further north, but it was an exciting show. The English explanation of the story was easy to understand, but there were some words mixed in that I couldn't quite catch, possibly from the indigenous language, so I think it would have been nice to have a simple guide. The buffet meal was relatively good quality and delicious, but since the venue was large, it was hard to know where everything was without asking the waitstaff. Photography during the show was prohibited, so even though there was a time for photos with the performers afterward, I couldn't take any because I wouldn't make it back to the bus on time. I wish there had been a bit more time to spare.

少し北にあるせいかワイキキより風も冷たく感じましたが,熱気のあるショーでした。ストーリーの英語の説明はわかりやすいのですが、原住民の言語が入っているのか所々分からない言葉が混じっているので、簡単な解説書みたいなものがあったら良かったと思います。ビュッフェの食事も比較的素材もよく美味しく食べられましたが、会場が広いのでどこに何があるかウェイトレスさん達に聞かないと分かりにくかったです。ショーの写真を撮るのを禁止しているので、あとで出演者さん達との撮影時間があっても、帰りのバスの時間に間に合わないので、結局撮影できずに終わりました。もう少し時間に余裕があれば良かったと思います。

I participated in a course that included only the buffet and the show. Since it was a special occasion, I chose the more expensive option. The buffet allowed me to enjoy luxurious dishes that I usually wouldn't have the chance to taste. The staff were all very kind and patiently helped me, even though I didn't speak English, and I was filled with gratitude.

The show was in the front row center seats, which allowed me to feel the heat of the flames and the energy of the performers up close. Above all, the show was incredibly moving; I got to see Kahiko (traditional hula), which I absolutely love, and shaking hands with the performers afterward became a memorable highlight.

Although I chose the more expensive option for the course, I was able to participate at a good price thanks to the online reservation. I believe that this combination of a luxurious and delicious dinner with an exciting and emotional show is very valuable and worth it.

I was a bit anxious about making my first reservation online, but I would like to try again next time.

ビュッフェとショーだけのコースに参加しました。せっかくなので値段設定が高い方を選択。ビュッフェは普段、味わうことの出来ない贅沢な料理を堪能することができました。お店の方達は皆、英語が分からない私に優しく丁寧に教えて下さり感謝の気持ちでいっぱいでした。
ショーも前列中央席で、この席だからこそ人の熱気や息づかい、炎の熱を間近で感じ取ることができました。何よりもショーは感動しっぱなしで、私が愛してやまないカヒコ(古典フラ)を見れましたし、終了後の出演者達との握手は感激してしまい最高の思い出となりました。
コース的には高い方を選択しましたが、ネットでの予約ということもありお得に参加することができました。この値段で贅沢な美味しいディナーと、躍動溢れる感動のショーのセットは
大変お得で価値のあるものだと思います。
ネットからの始めての予約は不安でしたが、次回もチャレンジしてみたいと思います。

A bus marked with "Polynesian Show" came to pick us up right in front of the nearest hotel. When I got on the bus, a Japanese person greeted me. After showing my voucher and stating my name, I was able to board immediately. During the one-hour ride, we had a lot of fun conversations, which was great! Just before we arrived, they carefully explained the schedule for the rest of the evening (including the return bus information and dinner details), so I had no worries after we got there. The dinner was good, and the show was really amazing! On the way back, I had no trouble finding my way, as the guide from the outbound trip was standing near the bus to assist us. You can go with peace of mind, so I highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you!

最寄りのホテル前までポリネシアンショーと書いてあるバスが迎えに来てくれて、
私の時はバスから日本人の方が出て来てくれて、
近寄って行ったら、バウチャーを見せて、名前をいったら、すぐに乗れて、1時間の移動の間楽しい話をたくさんしてくれて、とても良かったです！
着く寸前にこの後のスケジュール(帰りのバス案内や、ディナーの説明など)を丁寧に説明してくれて、着いてから不安なこともなく、ディナーも良かったですし、ショーもすごく良かったです！
帰りも迷う事なく、行きの案内の方もバス付近に立っていてくれて教えてくれました。

I originally had low expectations, but the food was disappointing even for a deluxe option. The crab was extremely salty, and there were few varieties, with nothing particularly delicious. The show, however, was impressive. It was wonderful.

もともと期待してなかったのですが、デラックスでもイマイチな料理でした。
カニはとにかく塩辛く、その他も種類が少ないし、これといって、美味しいものもありませんでした。
ショーは、見ごたえがありました。素晴らしかったです。

On the way there, we had a Japanese guide. She was quite elderly, and while I want to commend her spirit of service, the content of her conversation was all over the place—talking about cancer treatment, her grandchild, how tough the meat is at the culture center, children dying on the farm, Alzheimer's prevention, young people, and life in general... it was like a grandma's gossip session. It seemed she hit it off with some guests in the front row of her generation, and she chatted with them through the microphone for a continuous 90 minutes, making it hard for me to sleep and quite exhausting.

We arrived at the center around 5:30 PM, hoping to catch some events in the village, but the grandma guide took her time explaining the souvenirs, which wasted unnecessary time, and by the time we got to the events, they were all over, which was disappointing. I recommend picking up your tickets and then ignoring the guide to head into the park.

Good points:
- The show was well done. However, I was satisfied after seeing it once.
- The prime rib and crab were delicious.
- After the show, several performers came outside and were happy to take photos.

Bad points:
- The guide on the way there.
- The number of dishes for dinner wasn't that many.
- The ice cream location was hard to find; it's next to the entrance.
- Since I upgraded to deluxe, I expected good seats, but they were at quite an angle from the front.
- The return bus was hot.

Points to note:
- Upon arrival at the center, the guide will collect everyone's tickets. The tickets have names on them, and seats are assigned. They also indicate the dinner time and menu, show time, and details about the crab gift during dinner. Once you receive your tickets, you won't need the guide anymore. You can explore the park or head to the dinner venue.
- The return bus is different from the one we took to get there. After the show, many buses will be lined up where we parked the bus on the way there. The guide will tell you which bus number to take back, so make sure to take notes. Also, the driver does not speak Japanese, and there won't be a guide on the way back. You won't hear someone say, "We've arrived, Mr./Ms. ○○," so be careful not to miss your stop (this applies to other tours as well).

行きの車には日本人ガイドがついていました。かなりご高齢の女性で、彼女のサービス精神は評価したいのですが、話の内容は、癌の治療が～、うちの孫が～、カルチャーセンターの肉は硬くて～、そこの農場では子供が死んで～、アルツハイマーの予防が～、若い人は～、人生は～...と完全におばあちゃんの井戸端会議。最前列の同世代のお客さんとは気が合ったようで、お客さんとのおしゃべりを車内全員にマイクを通して延々90分。眠ろうにも眠れず疲れました。
17:30頃センターについたので村内でのイベントを見れるかと思いましたが、おばあちゃんガイドがのろのろとお土産屋の珊瑚の解説をするなど余計な時間がかかり、結局イベントは全て終わってしまい残念でした。チケットを受け取ったら、ガイドは無視して園内へ行くのをおすすめします。

良かった点
・ショーはよくできていました。でも1度観れば満足です。
・プライムリブ、カニは美味しかったです
・ショーのあとに演者数名が外に出ていて、写真撮影に快く応じてくれます

悪かった点
・行きの車のガイド
・夕飯の品数はそんなに多くない
・アイスの場所は分かりにくい。入口の脇にあります。
・デラックスにしたので良い席を期待しましたが、結構正面から角度がありました
・帰りの車が暑かった

注意点
・センターに到着すると、ガイドが全員のチケットを受け取りに行きます。チケットには名前が書いてあり、座席も指定されています。チケットには夕食の時間と内容、ショーの時間、夕食でのカニプレゼントについても書いてあります。受け取ったらもうガイドに用はありません。園内を回るなり、夕食会場へ行きましょう
・帰りの車は行きの車とは別です。ショーが終わると、行きの車を止めたところにたくさんのバスが並びます。帰りに何番の車に乗ればよいか、行きのガイドが教えてくれますのでしっかりメモしましょう。尚、運転手は日本語話しません。帰りはガイドもいません。○○さん着きましたよーなんて言われないので、ぼやぼやしてると降りそびれます、気をつけましょう(他のツアーもそうですが)。

I brought my friends, a couple visiting Hawaii for the first time, to this show, which I thought would be a great choice among many options. I've seen it several times, and every time I am moved by the dynamic performances. My friends were also very pleased. As a side note, on the shuttle bus back, we were the only Japanese people, but the driver kept talking in English non-stop and was quite cheerful, making jokes. It would have been fun if we could understand the content.

初めてハワイを訪れた友達夫婦を伴い、数あるショーの中でもまずここが良いと思いお連れしました。私は何度か見ていますが、何度見てもダイナミックな演出で感動します。
お友達にもとても喜ばれました。余談ですが、帰りのシャトルバスは日本人は私達だけだったのですが、運転手の方が英語でず～としゃべりっぱなし、ジョークをとばして陽気な方でしたが
内容が解ると楽しかったでしょうね。

I rarely see shows like this, so it was really great. The seats were in the second row right in front of the stage! I was so excited to be so close! The fire show was absolutely amazing! Dinner was a bit disappointing.

こんなショーは滅多に見ないのでとても良かったです。席もステージ前で2列目！とても近くで興奮しましたね！ファイヤーショーがとてつもなく凄かったです！
