The PCC, dinner, luau, and show were fantastic. The Island Tour itself was the sad part. Our driver was late and then we had to rush through all the sites, having barely time for a picture or look before having to reload.

I wanted to take my time sightseeing in the North, but I ended up getting garlic shrimp as a souvenir and eating it by the sea. I was looking forward to things like Matsumoto Shave Ice, and I had made a list to enjoy... but I was disappointed. Horseback riding was fun!

乗馬は楽しかったです！

I have hiked many of the popular attractions here on Oahu like Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, and Koko Head, but they have nothing as elegant as what the Huakai Iki hike has. We booked our tour, and was informed that the check in location is at the Aloha General Store. We were greeted by our wonderful guides Keola and Holly. We started venturing off on the private roads owned by Kamehameha Schools, Bishop Estate. We had excellent views of the agricultural land, the coastline of Haleiwa, the mountain ranges of both the Ko'olaus and Waianae! We had learned so much Hawaiian historical facts, such as endemic versus native species of plants and animals, special trees and plants such as the Koa tree, ohia lehua, and the strawberry guava tree. Keola and Holly are excellent guides! The one thing that I highly valued is that you can ask them anything! They will tell you if they know about it, and if they don't they will either call you or email me and give you the answer! Many other tour guides on other hikes, tend to come up with excuses, or falsified facts. But not Keola or Holly. We had great views of the swimming pools (water ponds), nice high clouds, and wonderful native plants. This is the best hiking tour that I have been on by far. I will definitely go out with north Shore Eco Tours again, for their Huakai Nui Hike! Mahalo Keola & Holly!

I learned a lot about the history of the North Shore on this tour and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our guides Keola and Holly were knowledgeable in Hawaiian history and culture. They have exclusive access to this trail and I highly recommend going on this tour as you will not get the chance to see the North Shore like this with anyone else. It was a real treat for me. I appreciated that Keola asked for permission to enter the hiking trail in a traditional way.The hike itself was wonderful. We saw a lovely lehua blossom on the trail! The area is home to a number of rare native trees that I will leave to you to figure the name of. This hike is not for people who are out of shape. You will get a workout on the hike! If you appreciate learning about Hawaiian culture with legitimate information shared, the natural beauty of the North Shore, and to spend a day of your vacation in nature, this hike is for you. Way better than a luau!

Since experiencing horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, I haven't been able to forget the joy of riding, so I participated in this horseback riding session. Although I was a bit anxious about this being my second time and a long ride, the result was... it was incredibly fun!!!

The horses are very well-trained and respond well. However, I think it has to be in English... (or is that just my imagination?). With just a few commands like "stop," "slowly," and "go," along with some control of the reins, they respond remarkably well. I felt that just controlling the reins alone wasn't very effective, but when I added verbal cues, they responded perfectly.

The horseback riding was so enjoyable that time flew by. I definitely want to participate again.

For North Shore tours, since there isn't much time available for riding, I highly recommend this for those who want to focus on horseback riding! That's why I give it a perfect score!!

クアロア牧場で乗馬を経験して以降、乗馬の楽しさが忘れられず、こちらの
乗馬に参加しました。2度目の乗馬で長時間の乗馬なので不安はありましたが、
結果としては・・・最高に楽しかった！！！
馬が非常に優秀で言うことを聞いてくれます。ただし英語でないとダメと
思いますが・・・。（気のせい？）
ストップ、スロウリー、ゴー、こんな単語と手綱の少しのコントロールで
非常に言うことをきいてくれます。
手綱のコントロールだけだとあまり効果が無い気がしたのですが、一緒に
声を掛けてあげるとピタッと言うことを聞きます。
乗馬は楽し過ぎてあっという間に時間は過ぎてしまいました。
また参加したいと思います。

ノース観光は乗馬する場合は、あまり時間が取れないので、乗馬中心に
考える方は非常にお勧めです！だから私は満点！！

Although we got caught in traffic along the way, thanks to our guide's quick thinking, we took a detour and avoided a bad situation. On top of that, we were able to enjoy some great sightseeing on an unexpected route.

途中、渋滞に巻き込まれたが、ガイドさんの機転で回り道をしてひどいことは回避された。その上、予定外のコースを通っていい観光ができた。

The concept is great. Transport is reliable, clean and on time. The tour guide, Harry, was entertaining and very friendly. The only thing we would suggest is that surfing be offered as one of the activities - it is after all what the area is best known for!
I would recommend this for anyone who wants an active day.

Our family of 6 adults from Brisbane Australia loved this whole day tour. Our driver / tour guide Sam picked us up from our hotel on time, & drove safely. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Oahu, and explained all the sights on the way to the North Shore - he make the entire trip an awesome experience. He gave us a drive by & quick stop at each of the available activities before we chose them, then dropped us all to our chosen areas. 3 of us chose bike riding along the famous surfing beaches where we could stop and have beach time as we liked; the other 3 the walk through the beautiful gardens to the waterfall. Though a lovely walk, it is quite a long one, for anyone older. If you want a swim at the Falls, take cash for a compulsory life jacket hire! From there we walked back to Waimea Bay beach for a swim until our bus pick up. Our next activity for 4 of us was SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and 2 did kayaking. We LOVED this time on the water and would have liked to have a bit less time on the morning activities and more time for the afternoon ones! After, we walked through the town and sampled the Shaved Ice and some delicious lunch before boarding the bus completely satisfied with our day. We did several different tours while in Waikiki, and this was BY FAR the very best for the sightseeing, and activities on offer, plus the freedom to have our own time was fantastic. We were REALLY impressed with Sam the driver & happy to tip him well for his outstanding service - he contributed in a big way to making it the best tour during our time in Hawaii. Thank you Sam! I would highly recommend this tour, well worth it and we have great memories of our day.

I think it's rare to have a horseback riding experience in such a natural setting. The paths are not overly maintained, which adds a casual and enjoyable feel. The guide provides attentive service in Japanese as you travel from the hotel to each point. There may be variations depending on traffic conditions and whether you encounter sea turtles, but it's best to participate with a relaxed mindset, keeping those factors in mind.

こんな自然の中で乗馬体験はなかなかできないと思います。整備されすぎていない道に日常的な感じがあって楽しいです。
ホテルから各ポイントまでは、ガイドさんが日本語で丁寧に対応してくれます。
交通状態よる時間的余裕の有無、海亀と遭遇できるかなど日によって左右される部分もあると思いますが、それらを了承した上で気持ちにゆとりをもって参加されるのがベストです。

This Circle Island tour was terrific. Our guide, Dai Mar, was very knowledgeable about Oahu, the islands in general, and the places we visited. We saw the North Shore and spent time at the Banzai Pipeline, we visited Waimea Falls after a nice stroll/hike with lots of info about the area and the flora/fauna, we ate at Fumi's Shrimp Truck, and we stopped at a Macadamia farm/shop. It was fun, relaxed, and I learned a lot, plus the views were fantastic!

I've always dreamed of horseback riding, and I'm so glad I got to experience it for the first time! Since the duration was long, I was a bit anxious at first, but the person who took us was very knowledgeable about Hawaii, and I had such a fun time that it flew by! I want to go again!

ずっと乗馬に憧れていて、初体験できてよかったです！！所要時間が長かったので、最初は少し不安でしたが、連れてってくださった方がすごくハワイに詳しく楽しい時間を過ごせてあっという間でした！またいきたいです！！

I was able to fully enjoy places other than Waikiki. The horseback riding in the canyon is something that is hard to experience in Japan, so the kids were very satisfied. It was great that even my 9-year-old son, who is small for his age, could participate.

ワイキキ以外を、満喫できました。渓谷の乗馬は、日本でわなかなか体験することが出来ないので、子供たちが満足していました。9歳の小さな体型の息子でも参加出来て、良かったです。

We used this for our honeymoon trip!
In the morning, we were picked up at the hotel and first went to the "What Tree Is That?"! We took some photos and spent about 15 minutes there, which was just right!
After that, we headed to the Dole Plantation! Since it’s a souvenir shop, we had a nice break for the restroom!
After leaving Dole, we had some free time in the town of Haleiwa! We bought coffee, ate some garlic chicken, and also had Matsumoto Shave Ice!
Just when we were satisfied, we headed for horseback riding! It was my first experience, but the horses were cute, and we could ride leisurely through the valley! I was glad to take photos with my own camera!
After that, we went to Iri Beach and encountered a honu basking in the sun!
It was a very good tour! Next time, I want to try horseback riding in the ocean too (≧∇≦)!

P.S. Our guide, Mr. Sakai, was also a nice person!

朝、
ホテルでピックアップしてもらい、まずはこの木なんの木へ！写真を撮ってこの木なんの木を見学して滞在時間は15分くらいでしたが、ちょうどよかったです！
その後、
ドールプランテーションへ！お土産もの屋さんなのでトイレ休憩がゆっくり出来ました！
ドールを出て、ハレイワの街でしばしの自由時間！
珈琲を買ったりフリフリチキンを食べたり、
松本シェーブアイスも食べました！
ちょうど満足した時間帯に、乗馬に向かいました！初体験でしたが、馬もかわいいしゆったりと渓谷の中を乗馬出来ました！しっかり自分のカメラで写真も撮ってもらえて良かったです！
その後は、アイリービーチに行き、甲羅干ししているホヌに遭遇！
とても良いツアーでした！次回は海の乗馬にもチャレンジしたいです（≧∇≦）

追伸 ガイドのさかいさんも良い方でした！

It was my first time, but I enjoyed it! The garlic shrimp I had on the North Shore was delicious! The guide's driving was a bit too fast and it was a little scary.

I chose this tour because I wanted to go horseback riding by the beach and explore the town of North Shore, but based on my experiences with various other tours in Hawaii, I felt that the content for this price was frankly too high. The day started with anxiety as the tour bus did not arrive at the pickup time. It eventually showed up 10 minutes late, but the vehicle was old and dirty, and the guide spoke very quickly, making it hard to understand.

In Haleiwa, we weren't allowed to explore the town; instead, we could only take pictures in front of the food stalls while the guide bought garlic shrimp for everyone. It felt rushed throughout, and we ended up arriving back in Waikiki around 3 PM, which was a short time for a high price.

I had a coupon for garlic shrimp, and when I asked the guide to use it, he didn't cut it out or show it to the shop staff, but instead just refunded me $5. They charged the tour guests the regular price, but the guide bought it at a lower price, so he must be pocketing the difference.

For that reason, while I was satisfied with the views of the North Shore and the horseback riding by the beach, I cannot recommend this tour company.

海辺乗馬とノースの街を観光したかったため、このツアーを選んだが、ハワイで様々な他会社のツアーに参加した経験から考えると、この内容でこの値段ははっきり言って高すぎると感じた。この日は、ピックアップ時間になってもツアーのバスが来ず、不安になる朝から始まった。結局10分遅れで到着されたが、車は古くて汚いし、ガイドさんのトークは、とても早口で非常に聞き取りづらい。また、ハレイワの街では、街散策もさせてもらえず、ガーリックシュリンプをガイドさんがまとめて買う間に屋台の前で写真を撮るのみ。終始せわしなくて、結局ワイキキには15時ごろには着いていて、時間は短いのに高い。
私はガーリックシュリンプのクーポンを持っていたので、ガイドさんにこれを使って買ってくれと頼むと、そのクーポンを切り取ることもなく、お店の人にみせることもなく、5ドル返金してくれました。ツアー客からは正規の値段を取り、しかし、ガイドさんは安く買っていて、その差額はガイドさんが得ているのでしょうね。
そういうわけで、ノースの海を見たり、海辺での乗馬は景色もよくて満足だったが、このツアー会社はおすすめできません。

Enjoyed the bus tour, but it gets you there 2 hours after it opens.
The center itself focuses too much on entertainment and not enough on education. It is run by the Morman education system, so one would think if we are supporting the students we in turn would be educated about the various Polynesian cultures around the pacific.

I'm glad I chose this tour where I could experience horseback riding by the seaside! The beach was very beautiful!

Horseback riding by the seaside was very relaxing. Although the horse stopped to eat grass a few times, the guide helped us along and we had a great time. There was also a couple in their 60s, so I think it's an activity that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people.

海辺の乗馬は癒されました。
途中馬が草を食べてしまったり止まったりもしたけど、ガイドさんが誘導してくれて楽しめました。
60代のご夫婦もいたので、幅広く楽しめるアクティビティーだと思います。

For those visiting the North Shore for the first time, I think this tour, "Introduction to the North Shore by a Local Japanese Guide," is perfect. It made me want to explore the North Shore on my own in the future, perhaps by renting a car. The tree and Dole Plantation tours are geared towards children, but I believe they are great for first-time visitors.

The guide was wonderful and resourceful, taking us to two delicious garlic shrimp spots for lunch. Since the morning assembly went smoothly and we had some extra time, we stopped by a coffee shop favored by Noritake Kinashi, even though it wasn't on the tour route. Because it was a time when the waves were high and we couldn't see any turtles at the beach, the guide arranged for shopping at a shop popular with North Shore surfers and a restroom break.

We selected hiking. I heard that the hike to Waimea Valley (waterfall) takes about 20 minutes along the main road, but since we had time, we took a detour on a side path and rested in the shade on a bench along the way, enjoying a leisurely walk until it was time to be picked up.

With that, the tour concluded, and we returned to Waikiki without any traffic, feeling pleasantly tired. We were dropped off at our desired location, making for a fulfilling day even after the tour. Thank you very much!

ノースショアが初めての方には、「現地日本人ガイドによるはじめてのノースショア紹介ツアー」としてぴったりのツアーだと思います。将来レンタカーなどで自力でノースショアへ行こうと思いたくなるツアーでした。この木なんの木観光とドール農園観光は、子供さん向けではありますが、初めて訪れるには良いかと思います。
ガイドさんが素晴らしく機転の利く方で、ノースショアで美味しいガーリックシュリンプ店2か所を廻ってお昼ご飯を調達してくれたり、朝の集合がスムーズで少し時間に余裕ができたためツアーコースではないが木梨ノリタケさんお気に入りのコーヒーshopに寄ってくれたり、波が高い時期だったためビーチにカメが不在で見学する時間が取れなかった分、ノースショアサーファー御用達のショップでのお買い物＆トイレ休憩時間を作ってくれました。

私たちはハイキングをセレクトしました。ワイメアバレー（滝）まではメインロードのハイキングで片道20分くらいと聞いていたのですが、時間もあったので小道を入って遠回りをしてみたり、途中のベンチの日陰で休憩したりと、お迎えの時間までゆっくり歩きました。

これでツアー行程は終了となり、軽い疲労感でウトウトしながら渋滞もなくワイキキまで戻ってきて、希望の場所でドロップダウンしていただき、ツアーの後も充実した一日となりました。
本当にありがとうございました。

Coastal horseback riding plan
On the way to the horseback riding location, we got to see the Dole Pineapple Plantation and some interesting trees, and we enjoyed garlic shrimp for lunch, which was a lot of fun.
The guide provided a wealth of information that was very impressive.
For the horseback riding, they selected a horse that suited each person, and the guide interpreted how to operate it, making it easy to understand.
As it was my first time riding, I was a bit scared at first, but we moved very slowly, so I gradually got used to it, and by the second half, I was able to take photos with my camera using one hand.
On the way back, we also enjoyed coconut juice, making it a very fulfilling plan that I highly recommend.
The only disappointment was that we couldn't see any sea turtles on the coast.

You can be picked up near the hotel early in the morning and enjoy sightseeing.

You arrive at the Polynesian Cultural Center in the early afternoon and have a not-so-tasty lunch.

After that, you can enjoy various attractions on the island with the guide.

After dinner (I wasn't expecting much since lunch wasn't good, but the dinner was delicious, possibly because it was deluxe), we watched a magnificent show.

It was impressive with a large number of participants, and we had a great time.

Since the ending time is late, if you sleep on the bus ride back, you'll quickly arrive at your hotel in Honolulu.

I recommend it.

お昼過ぎにポリネシア文化センターに着きあまり美味しくないランチをいただきます。
その後担当のお兄さんと共に島内で色々なアトラクションを楽しみ
夕食後(昼食が美味しくなかったので期待してませんでしたがデラックスだったせいか夕食は美味しくいただきました)壮大なショーを見ました。
大人数で迫力があり楽しめました。
終了時間が遅いので帰りのバスの中で寝ているとあっという間にホノルルのホテルに到着します。
おすすめです。

We had a great time exploring Haleiwa and experiencing horseback riding. It was our first visit to Haleiwa, and we were able to enjoy some leisurely shopping and dining, making for a fulfilling experience. The horseback riding course took us along the beach and through some gentle hills. The sea breeze we felt from atop the horse was very pleasant. On our way back, we stopped by a beach and encountered a sea turtle. We had heard from our guide that it was rare to see one, so we were both thrilled.

ハレイワ観光と乗馬体験をしました。
夫婦ともにハレイワは初訪問でしたが、のんびりショッピングや食事をする時間もあり、充実した時間を過ごせました。
乗馬は、海辺や小高い山を散策するコースでした。
馬上から受ける海風はとても心地よかったです。
帰りに立ち寄ったビーチで、ウミガメと遭遇できました。
運が良くないと会えないとガイドさんから聞いていたので、夫婦ともに感激しました。

I was able to visit places that are difficult to reach alone without a rental car, and I could leisurely explore the shops on the North Shore. It was great that we also stopped by a soap factory on the way back, allowing me to buy some souvenirs.

レンタカーがないとなかなか一人で行くことができない所に行けて、ゆっくりノースショアのショップを見て回ることができました。
帰りにソープ工場にも寄ってもらえてお土産を購入することができで良かったです。

I had a great time!

The driver was a nice person, and it felt wonderful to ride horses along the beautiful beach and connect with nature!

The only downside was that someone who wasn't picked up confronted the driver, insisting it wasn't their fault, and complained to the company, which created a negative atmosphere. It was unfortunate to encounter a complainer while in Hawaii, especially since there were others from the same hotel being picked up.

However, the driver continued to lighten the mood and was truly a good person! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate again!

ドライバーさんも良い人だったし、綺麗なビーチ沿いを馬に乗って散歩して自然を感じる事が出来て気持ち良かったです！

☆一つ少ないのは、ピックアップされなかった人が、自分は悪くないってドライバーさんに、食ってかかったり、会社に文句の電話してたり、降りる時に文句言い逃げしたりして、空気が悪くなったからです。
同じホテルからピックアップされてる人がいるって事は……って感じでしたが、ハワイに来てまでクレーマーに遭遇とは。不運でした。

けど、その後もドライバーさんは和ませてくれて、本当に良い人でした！
またハワイに行く機会があれば是非参加したいです！

I applied for the deluxe course on behalf of my parents, who are over 60.

As for the meals, while they were considered deluxe from a Japanese palate perspective, they were a bit lacking. However, they had a lot of fun riding canoes, and the bus guide shared various stories along the way. They were very active during the day, so they thought they might be too tired to stay awake for the show, but the fire dance was so impressive that it woke them up! They mentioned it with a laugh.

還暦過ぎの両親の代わりにデラックスコースを申し込みました。

食事は、日本人の味覚からするとデラックスでも、うーん？…だったそうですが、カヌーに乗ったり、バスのガイドさん？も行き掛けに色々な話をしてくれたそうで、とても楽しかったようです。
日中、目一杯活動するのでショーの時間にはもう疲れて眠っちゃうかも、と思ったそうですが、ファイヤーダンスなどがあまりにも迫力があったそうで、目が覚めた！と話しておりました。笑

This was a truly awesome experience. We had Sam as a driver and he was totally great. He navigated traffic well and all of his narrating was necessary, funny and enjoyable.
We had a slight problem in that we missed our pick up (oops!) but the company was helpful and told us where to go to get another pick up.
We did some bike riding in the morning, saw Pipeline and had a great time. In the afternoon we tried SUP and saw turtles! It was a fully awesome experience. So good getting out and SEEING the North Shore, not just taking pictures of it.

There are many optional tours to Dole, but this tour had a sufficient time of 75 minutes at Dole, which made me hopeful since I have a 3-year-old child and thought we could take our time on the train. However, we were put on the same tour as the horseback riding group, which shortened our time at Dole to 50 minutes. By the time we got on the train, we only had 10 minutes left. After buying ice cream, we barely made it back to the car, leaving no time for a stroll or to look at souvenirs. To make matters worse, we had to wait for the horseback riders to return, resulting in only 3 hours at Haleiwa. The guide kindly took us for a 20-minute drive, but isn't this terrible considering we paid for it? I feel like I would have preferred another optional tour instead. Also, even though we were charged for one child's fare, the bus seat was on my lap. I felt like I lost out.

On the positive side, the guide, Mr. S, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about plants and incorporated current events while explaining the scenery and buildings visible from the bus. He quickly found and spoke to participants and waited in an easy-to-find spot, showcasing his wonderful personality. When I inquired about a forgotten item on the bus, he promptly delivered it to me. Given how fantastic the guide was, it was very disappointing regarding the time management.

　ドールに行くオプショナルツアーはたくさんあるけれど、こちらのツアーはドールの時間が７５分と十分な時間が設定されており、３才の子供がいたので列車にも乗れてゆっくりできるかな・・・と期待して申し込みました。しかし乗馬プランの人と同じツアーにされたため、ドールの時間は５０分に短縮。列車に乗ると、残り１０分。アイスを買ったら車に戻るのがやっとで、散策したりお土産を見たりする時間はありませんでした。おまけに乗馬の人が帰ってくるのを待つため、ハレイワの滞在時間が３時間。ガイドさんが気を遣って、２０分ほどドライブに連れて行ってくれましたが、料金を払ったのに、これってひどくないですか？　これだったら他のオプショナルツアーにしたのにな・・・という気分です。また、子供も１人分の料金を取ってるのに、バスの席は膝の上。損した気分でした。
　良かったと言えば、ガイドのＳさんです。植物に詳しく、時事ネタも取り入れながら、バスから見える景色や建物についてよく説明して下さいました。また、ツアーに参加した人を素早く見つけて声をかけたり、わかりやすい位置で待っていてくれたり、人柄も素晴らしくとても良かったです。バスに忘れ物をして問い合わせすると、すぐに届けてくれました。ガイドさんが素晴らしかっただけに、時間配分の件は非常に残念でした。

I booked a hotel transfer in Waikiki. When I arrived on-site, there were instructions for horseback riding posted in Japanese. Everything else was in English, but the guide at the front provided basic directions like "right" and "left" in broken English. They use horses that have retired from polo, and they were very well-trained and beautiful. The course included muddy areas, steep slopes, and scenery that could only be accessed on horseback, which was quite magical. In the latter part of the ride, I was able to have my picture taken on the horse against a beautiful backdrop of the ocean with my own camera. (There was no pressure to buy photos!!)

ワイキキホテル送迎込を探して申し込みました。現地に到着すると、日本語での乗馬の注意が貼ってありました。その部分以外はすべて英語ですが、基本的な右へ、左へ、は先頭の誘導してくださる方が片言で教えてくれます。POLO競技から引退した馬を使用されているとのことで、とてもしつけの行き届いたキレイな馬でした。ぬかるみや、急勾配、馬でしか立ち入れないようなコースで周りの景色も幻想的でした。後半には海の見える美しい景観の場所で馬に乗った姿を自分のカメラで撮ってもらえました。(写真売りつけたりとかは無いです！！)

It was my first time in Hawaii, so I signed up for the Haleiwa sightseeing and Dole Plantation tour. The guide was very friendly, making the tour enjoyable. For lunch, the guide took us to eat the recommended shrimp, which was incredibly delicious and had no unpleasant smell at all! It was truly tasty. At the Dole Plantation, the scenery while riding the pineapple train was fantastic. The ice cream was also delicious. The weather was great, making it a perfect day. Thank you very much.

はじめてのハワイでしたので、ハレイワ観光＆ドールプランを申込みしました。
ガイドさんが気さくな方でしたので、楽しい観光となりました。
ランチではガイドさんオススのメエビを食べに連れていってもらいましたが、これがまたとても美味しく臭みもなし！！本当に美味しかったです。ドールプランテーションではパイナップル列車に揺られながら見る景色は最高でしたよ。アイスも美味しかった。また天気もよく最高の1日でした。ありがとうございました。
