Dole Plantation, lunch in the town of North Shore, and horseback riding were all very enjoyable. Fortunately, we were also able to see sea turtles, so I think it was a good tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable and recommended a garlic shrimp place (Camarón) for lunch, but the dining area behind the restaurant was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The portion sizes seemed a bit small for Hawaii. I slightly regret that Macky's might have been a better choice than Camarón to feel the essence of Hawaii. Other than that, I was completely satisfied.

運よくウミガメをみることもできましたので、良いツアーだったと思います。

ガイドの方の知識も豊富で、昼食にお勧めのガーリックシュリンプの店（カマロン）を
教えていただいたのですが、店裏の食事場所が非常に暑く不快、ハワイにしては量も少な目？
ハワイらしさを感じるには、カマロンではなくマッキーズの方が良かったのでは、と
少し後悔しました。
これ以外はすべて満足です。

The pickup for the Island Makana Tours' canyon horseback riding plan was at the Hyatt Regency's Core Street entrance, which was as crowded as Hachiko Square. Around 9:40, we arrived at Dole Plantation. Since we only had 30 minutes, I gave up on riding the Pineapple Express train that runs through the park, but just strolling through the pineapple fields felt great. Around 10:40, we reached Turtle Beach. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles. We dropped off the free time plan participants in Haleiwa, and around 11:15, we arrived at Waimea Canyon. It rained heavily on and off, but we started horseback riding. At one point, I slipped to the right along with the saddle, but I managed to keep holding the reins and stood up on the ground. After the horseback riding, everyone was soaking wet, and I was surprised that we couldn't borrow even one towel. Around 13:15, we arrived in Haleiwa Town. I had garlic shrimp at the Camaron Shrimp Wagon ($13.60). The line at Matsumoto Shave Ice was too long for me to consider waiting, but there was another shop nearby with a shave ice sign that had only staff inside.

アイランドマカナツアーズの渓谷乗馬プランのピックアップはアクティビティ集合場所になっているハイアットリージェンシーのコア通り側入り口で、ハチ公前みたいにごった返していた。9:40頃にドールプランテーション。滞在時間30分だったので、パイナップルエクスプレスという園内をはしる汽車への乗車は諦めたが、パイナップル畑などを散策するだけでも良い気分だった。10:40頃に海亀ビーチ。海亀は見られなかった。フリータイムプランの方々をハレイワで降ろし、11:15頃ワイメア渓谷。雨が強く降ったり止んだりだったが、乗馬開始。途中、鞍と一緒に体が右へずり落ちたが、手綱を握ったまま地面に立てた。乗馬後、全員ずぶ濡れになっていたが、タオル1枚借りられなかったのには驚いた。13:15頃、ハレイワタウン。カマロンシュリンプワゴンでガーリックシュリンプ（13.6ドル）。マツモトシェーブアイスは並ぶ気になれない行列だったが、近くにシェーブアイスの看板を掲げる別の店は店員しかいなかった。

I had about two and a half hours of free time in Haleiwa. Thanks to that, I was able to leisurely walk from one end of the town to the other. I also got to take photos of Haleiwa Wings, which made me happy.

However, I only passed by new places like Haleiwa Store Lot, so if I could wish for anything, I would have liked an additional 30 minutes.

ハレイワでのフリータイムは、2時間半ほどありました。おかげで、ハレイワの町を端から端までゆっくりと見て歩く事が出来ました。『Haleiwa Wings』の写真も撮る事が出来て、満足です。

ただ、ハレイワ・ストア・ロットなど新しい場所は通り過ぎるだけだったので、欲をいえば、あと30分くらい時間があると、嬉しいと思いました。

I highly recommended the round the island day tour. Justin was our tour guide, and his encyclopedic knowledge and commentary made the day very memorable.

Fun day off activities. Good driver and guide, well organised, good options of activities. Saw a variety of different beaches including sea turtles.

Covered a lot of ground in one day. Too bad we didn't get more time at the cultural center. We didn't get there until 1:30.

It's been a while since I visited North Shore. In the town of Wailea, the garlic shrimp at Camaron was very delicious. Horseback riding was a one-hour experience that flew by, even while being tossed around by "Buster" (the horse's name) who wouldn't listen to anything I said, all while enjoying the beautiful ocean view.

久しぶりのノ－スショア。ワイレアの町ではカマロンでのガーリックシュリンプがとてもおいしかったです。乗馬は、美しい海を見ながら、何も言うこと聞かない「バスタ－君」（馬の名前）に翻弄されながらもアッという間の１時間乗馬でした。

I have been to Hawaii several times, but I participated in this activity because I could experience horseback riding. While enjoying the North Shore, including the Dole Plantation and the town of Haleiwa, I took a 45-minute horseback ride along the coast. The scenery was beautiful, the horses were adorable, and I was able to enjoy nature.

ドールプランテーションやハレイワの街など、ノースショアを満喫しながら、海岸を乗馬で45分間散策しました。
景色は綺麗だし、馬は可愛いし、自然の中で楽しむことができました。

This tour focuses on horseback riding, but you can also stop by the Dole Plantation (for about an hour) and do some sea turtle watching (for about 10 minutes) along the way. However, since these are just side stops, you might not want to expect too much from them. The main horseback riding experience was great for beginners, as they teach you from scratch. The terrain was surprising, as I didn't know there were such forested areas in Hawaii. However, the driver, who was with us the longest, could speak Japanese but didn't talk much, so the hospitality was a bit lacking... Everyone seemed to be sleeping during the ride.

*Note: The horseback riding can get quite muddy, so make sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.*

乗馬をメインとしたツアーですが移動途中にDoleプランテーション（滞在1時間）やウミガメ（滞在10分）ウォッチングなどもできます。でも飽くまでついでに寄るくらいなのであまり期待しない方がいいかも。メインの乗馬は一から教えてくれるので初心者向けで面白かったです。地形もハワイにこんなところがあったのかと思うような森の中を進みます。ただ一番長い間一緒にいるドライバーのお兄さんが日本語は話せるけどあまりしゃべらない人でホスピタリティについてはビミョー。。みんな移動中は寝てましたね。

※乗馬では足元が結構ドロドロなので汚れても良い格好で行きましょう。

Riding on the back of a slowly walking horse while gazing at the beautiful sea was truly enjoyable. It was my first time riding a horse, but I was able to get on easily without feeling scared. I think the horse was quite old, so I felt grateful for the ride and hoped it would do its best to walk, but I was just so happy to have my first horseback riding experience. My husband said that a shorter time would have been fine, but I wanted to go riding for the same amount of time every day. As for clothing, I thought that as long as I wore sturdy footwear (like sneakers), it would be fine, just like when sightseeing.

ゆっくりと歩く馬の背中に乗り、とってもキレイな海を眺めながらの時間は本当に楽しかったです。馬に乗るのは初めてだったのですが、怖い思いもせず、簡単に馬の背中に乗れました。たぶん、かなり高齢の馬だと思ので、乗せてくれてありがとうございます、頑張って歩いてくださいねって感じもありましたが、私は初乗馬が嬉しいばかりでした。主人は、もっと短い時間でも良いと言いましたが、私は同じ時間ぐらいを毎日でも乗りに行きたかったです。服装は足元さえしっかりしたもの(スニーカー等)を履いていれば、他の観光するときと同じで大丈夫だなと思いました。

Driver only spoke of food! Then it was not very clear on what was included so we missed the food trucks and NO lunch (after all talk and no food).

I participated alone. In the morning, I had a doll pineapple, and for lunch, I enjoyed a recommended shrimp plate lunch from the guide in Haleiwa. It was very delicious. The horseback riding was a lot of fun, enhanced by the beauty of Turtle Bay. The horses were well-trained, and it felt more like being carried by the horse rather than riding it. Even for first-timers, as long as you hold the reins properly, you'll be fine. The horses follow the guide's instructions, and the scenery was so beautiful that time flew by. On the way back, I observed sea turtles at the beach, which was very soothing.

一人で参加　午前中はドールパイナップル、お昼は　ハレイワで　ガイドさんお勧めのエビのプレートランチを食べました。とてもおいしかったです。乗馬はタートルベイの美しさと重なりとても楽しかったです。馬もちゃんと訓練されており馬に乗っているというよりも乗せてもらっているみたいな感じでした。初めての方でも　たずな　をしつかり持っていれば大丈夫　コースガイドさんの指示で馬は動きますので　何より景色がきれいなので　テンションが上がりあっという間でした。帰りはビーチでウミガメ見学　癒されました。

The tour was awesome. Our guide was fantastic. The luau was wonderful. We got to participate as part of celebrating our 34th anniversary. The Breath of life show was awesome.

Henry was an awesome tour guide. The circle island tour was fantastic. All the activities at the Polynesian Cultural Cdnter were fantastic including the luau and night show.

I wanted to spend some relaxing time on the North Shore, so I joined this tour with a longer stay. The other two families besides us were planning to go horseback riding.

During the trip, they provided us with information on how to enjoy the North Shore and details about the shops, which was very helpful since we joined without any plans.

Since I was traveling alone, I participated with safety in mind. The timing was also very organized, so I could join without any worries. Along the way, I learned various interesting facts and even got to see turtles, which made me very satisfied! Haleiwa was amazing. If I had to say something negative, it would be that there wasn't enough time. Next time, I want to go to Kailua.

一人旅だったので、安全を考えて参加させていただきました。
時間もきちんとしていて、不安なく参加できました。道中、いろんな豆知識もきけたし、亀にも会えて大満足！
ハレイワ最高でした
難を言えば、時間が足りなかったかなぁ。

In the town of North Shore, I didn't have much time for sightseeing, but I was able to enjoy delicious garlic shrimp and Matsumoto Shave Ice, recommended by our guide. As a beginner in horseback riding, I had some anxiety, but it was fun to appreciate the beautiful seaside scenery from the unique perspective of being on a horse's back. The horse seemed to be hungry and didn't always listen to me, which made it a bit challenging, but aside from nibbling on grass, it walked along the course without me needing to pull on the reins, making horseback riding surprisingly easy. I was disappointed that I couldn't see any sea turtles from the beach, but since I had some extra time, our guide took us to a popular coffee stand where I enjoyed a tasting, which made me feel like I got a little bonus.

ノースショアの町では観光というほど時間はありませんでしたが、ガイドさんおすすめの美味しいガーリックシュリンプとマツモトシェイブアイスを食べることが出来ました。乗馬は初心者なので、不安はありましたが、海辺のきれいな景色をお馬さんの背中という普段とは違った視点から堪能できて楽しかったです。馬がおなかを空かせていたようで、言うことをなかなか聞いてくれずに苦戦しましたが、草をつまみ食いしているとき以外は、手綱を切らずともコースを外れずに歩いてくれて、意外と簡単に乗馬が出来ました。ビーチからウミガメが見れなかったのが残念でしたが、時間に余裕があったため、ガイドさんが人気のコーヒーの直売所に連れて行って下さり、試飲を楽しめたため、少し得をした気分になれました。

This was my third time in Hawaii, and my first horseback riding experience! Initially, I was considering horseback riding at Kualoa, but I chose this place because I wanted to try the authentic garlic shrimp! As a result, I was thrilled to ride in the best location! The horses got distracted along the way and literally stopped to graze (~_~;), which was quite an amusing experience! Thank you to the friendly guide as well!

ハワイ3回目にして初めての乗馬❗️最初はクアロアで乗馬を考えていましたが、本場のガーリックシュリンプが食べたくてこっちにしました！結果最高のロケーションでの乗馬が出来て感激‼️お馬さん達は、途中食欲に負けて文字どうりの道草(~_~;)これも中々の面白い体験でした‼️親切なガイドさんもありがとう〜〜‼️

I was with the horseback riding group.
I also spent about 30 minutes at the Dole Plantation. It was nice that it was not crowded since it was right after opening.
After that, I had free time on the North Shore. I think the timing was just right for enjoying the garlic chicken, visiting the original Kua 'Aina, and shopping.
Later, after visiting a few beaches to see sea turtles, I rejoined the horseback riding group and headed to Waikiki.
I felt that being able to sleep in the car on the way back was something you can only do on a tour.
The guide/driver had a very calm tone, which was nice.
Since it was hard to hear the name, I thought it would have been even better if there were name tags in the car.
I would like to participate again.

ドールにも30分ほどよりました。開店直後なので空いていてよかったです。
その後はノースショアのフリータイム。
フリフリチキンに、クアアイナの本店、買い物など、ちょうどいい時間だったと思います。
その後、ウミガメを見にいくつかビーチをまわったあと、乗馬の方と合流で、ワイキキへ。でした。
帰りの車で眠れたのはツアーじゃないとできないと思いました。
ガイドの運転手の方もとても穏やかな口調で良かったです。
名前が聞き取りにくかったので車に名札でもあると尚良かったと思います。
また参加したいです。

I signed up for the "Free Time Plan" with my colleagues at work. I had already visited Haleiwa several times, but the tours usually only offered about an hour of free time, which didn't allow for much freedom. However, this "Free Time Plan" provides about three and a half hours of free time, allowing you to go wherever you like at your leisure.

I strolled from Macky's Shrimp Truck to Haleiwa Beach Park, taking breaks at a café, having lunch, and shopping along the way. I truly enjoyed exploring Haleiwa from one end to the other! This is a convenient and excellent plan for those who want to go wherever they please without being tied to a tour schedule.

会社の同僚と「フリータイムプラン」に申込みました。
ハレイワは既に何度か訪れている街だったのですが、フリー時間が1時間程度のツアーばかりでなかなか自由が利きません。
しかし、この「フリータイムプラン」はフリー時間が3時間半程度あり、気ままに好きな場所へ行くことが出来ます。
マッキーズのシュリンプトラックからハレイワビーチパークまで散策しましたが、途中カフェで休憩をしたり、昼食をとったり、買い物をしたりと、まさにハレイワの端から端まで堪能できました！
ツアースケジュールに縛られず、好きなところへ行きたい方には手軽で最高のプランです。

Shopping and lunch in the North were great, and afterwards, I went horseback riding by the beach, which was incredibly relaxing. The horses were smart and cute, and the scenery was amazing—I was very satisfied! ♡

ノースでの買い物やランチも出来てその後は海辺の乗馬ですごく癒されました。馬もお利口で可愛いし、景色は最高で大満足でした♡

Our guide, Kai, was absolutely amazing! While we weren't able to make it to the swimming hole due to massive amounts of rain making it unsafe at the water crossings, he took us on an additional hiking section where we got to see various parts of the trail. The lunch provided was hand-made and was delicious... wish I knew how to make those rolls! I would more than recommend this excursion with Kai... he gets more than 5 stars!

It was great, i got picked up and he drove out to the northshore, showed us around the town and then the activities started. He was very available to pickup after each activity and drop you off where you wanted to go. Waterfall, snorkeling, shrimp truck, beach time & stand up paddle board, it was great. There are other activities to pick from. He even stopped because he saw a sea turtle was sitting on the beach, so we could see it and take pics, it was great!

I slowly rode while looking at Turtle Bay. It felt so nice. The horses were calm and very gentle. I'm sorry for being a heavy lady. It was a very enjoyable and delightful horseback riding experience in Hawaii. They guided us to the shrimp lunch early, so we could eat right away without waiting. It was delicious!

This tour is a great way to see and experience the North Shore from the land and in the water. Our tour guide (HC) knew his way around the island like nobody's business. He went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. Plenty of time for snorkeling, bike riding, checking out waterfalls, SUP or kayaking AND SHOPPING! I highly recommend!

I had a very enjoyable day. The bus guide, who claimed to be from Yoshimoto, kept the atmosphere lively with laughter throughout the ride. The guide at the Polynesian Cultural Center was also a very cheerful and kind young man. He efficiently guided us to the showtimes, allowing us to explore the vast grounds with satisfaction. For dinner, we enjoyed a Hawaiian show while wearing beautiful flower leis.

The highlight was definitely the evening show. We had front-row seats! The two main performers were stunningly attractive. You could feel the intensity of the actors' sweat and breathing, making it very powerful. The fire show was particularly impressive; it felt like they were putting their lives on the line.

After the performance, the actors came over to shake hands, which was truly moving. After that, we returned to the bus with plenty of time to spare before departure. However, it seemed like the return bus was going quite fast, as I don't think anyone was sleeping.

とても楽しい1日でした。
バスのガイドさんは、自称吉本の⚪️⚪️さんというだけあって笑いの絶えない車内でした。
ボリネシア文化センターのガイドの方もとても明るく親切な青年でした。的確にショーの時間に案内してくれて効率よく広大な園内を回れて満足しました。ディナーは、生花の素敵なレイをかけていただきハワイアンショーを見ながら楽しめました。
特に圧巻は、夜のショー。なんと席は最前列。主役の2人は、美男美女。役者さんの汗や息づかいまで感じられて迫力満点。特に火のショーは、もうそこまでしなくてもと思うほど命張ってました。
そして、なんと終演後役者さんの方から握手してきてくれて感動物でした。それからバスに戻っても時間的には余裕で出発でした。しかし、帰りのバスは、かなりスピードが出てるようで眠ってる人は、いなかったように思いました。

This was probably one of our more strenuous/lengthier hikes (water and proper footwear are highly recommended- it can get slippery on the trail). It was a lot of fun. We did cross some streams which were a bit difficult for some. You will get sweaty, wet, and dirty. No bathrooms, of course, so be prepared.
Great views. Tour guide was excellent, very passionate, helpful, and knowledgeable! Lunch was pretty good- everyone seemed to like it. Private mountain pool swim was enjoyed by most.

Waikiki Beach, hotel pickup departure, next stop Hanauma Bay "The view of the bay from above is amazing!" Then to Moanalua Gardens "It was a breathtaking experience in nature, famous for the tree from the song 'What Tree is This?'" We visited Waimanalo Shopping Center and Dole Plantation "The pineapple soft serve was delicious." We went in the order of Haleiwa and arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center around 1 PM "It was a fantastic bus drive around half of Oahu Island, enjoying the stunning views for about three hours, the best way to learn about Oahu!"

After arriving, we had lunch, and there were various cultural experiences available in the park, all fresh and enjoyable. Canoe show "We watched many Hawaiian dances." Dinner "Steak, fruits, and dessert were delicious." The night show, “‘Ha’ Breath of Life,” which boasts the largest scale in Hawaii, featured over 100 staff performing passionately for nearly two hours. It showcased the growth of a life born on the island into a fine young man who would govern the island and protect its people, presented through songs and dances! The fire dance show in the second half was a powerful light show that you absolutely cannot see anywhere else. It was the best!

Spending time in the park until 9:30 PM, I felt like I truly experienced Hawaii and became one with the locals! It was a fulfilling tour. Thank you to all the cast members; I was moved to tears and deeply grateful.

Since I had already heard the story in Japanese from our guide during the bus drive, even though I didn't understand the language, I was able to enjoy the show smoothly and with even more intensity. Thank you to our wonderful guide; I will come back again!

ワイキキビ-チ、ホテルお迎え出発、次がハナウマ湾「上空から見る湾の景色最高！」、モアナルアガ-デン「この木なんの木♪でおなじみの大自然を満喫圧巻でした」ワイマナロショッピングセンター、ド-ルプランテ-ション「パイナップルソフトが美味しかったです」ハレイワの順番で回って、午後1時頃にポリネシアカルチャーセンターに到着「約３時間からの絶景を見ながらのオハフ島約半周,ワイキキの反対側までバスドライブでしたオアフ島を知るには最高です！」
到着後は、ランチ、園内では様々な民族の体験ができどれもが新鮮で楽しむことができました。カヌーショー「沢山のハワイの踊りを観覧」 デイナー「ステーキ,果物,デザート,美味しかったです」ハワイ最大規模を誇る“‘ハァ’ブレス・オブ・ライフ”ナイトショー「100人以上のスタッフが２時間近くに渡り熱演、島で生れた一つの命が格闘の渦中立派な青年へと成長、軈て島を治め島民を守って行く姿を舞台で、歌や踊りで披露！特に後半のファイヤーダンスショーは他では絶対に見られない迫力のライトショー」最高でした！。
夜9時半まで園内で過ごした自分は、これこそ誇れるハワイなり！と島民に成りきった思いでの大満喫出来たツアーでした♡キャストの皆さん有難う、涙と感激有難う御座いました♡。
夜のショーは、あらかじめガイドさんから日本語でバスドライブ中ストーリーを一通り聞いていた為、言語はわからずともスムーズに一層迫力を受け楽しむことができました。素敵なガイドさん有難う、又お邪魔しまーす♡。

I participated in a company trip with my senior. I was nervous about my first horseback riding experience, but the horse was well-trained, so I was able to enjoy the ride. I was lucky to see sea turtles as well.

会社の旅行で先輩と一緒に参加しました。
初乗馬で緊張しましたが馬もしっかり調教されていたので、楽しんで乗れました。
ウミガメも見れてラッキーでした。

We stopped by the beach to see the sea turtles, and there was over an hour of free time for hiking in Haleiwa. It was packed with activities, but our guide managed the time very well, allowing us to enjoy everything without wasting any time. We also had a lot of conversations in the car, learning various things about Hawaii, which was very educational! Since I love plants, the guide taught us the names of mango trees and many Hawaiian flowers.

In Haleiwa, to make the most of our time, the guide recommended ordering garlic shrimp, which was incredibly delicious compared to what I had the day before in Waikiki.

We had plenty of time for the hiking course while waiting for those participating in the horseback riding tour. After hiking, we could relax and have tea, so rather than feeling like we were waiting, we could stroll at our own pace and enjoy shaved ice, which was a good balance.

I would love to join the same plan again and see the sea turtles that I missed this time!

ドールによって、海がめみにビーチに立ち寄り、ハレイワで1時間以上のフリー
ハイキングでは2時間以上のフリー時間でした。盛りだくさんですが
すごく時間をしっかり仕切ってくださるガイドの方でしたので無駄なく楽しめました。また車中もすごく沢山話をして色々ハワイのお話が聞けて勉強になりました!
植物が好きなのでマンゴーの木やハワイのお花の名前も沢山教えてくれました。
またハレイワでは効率よく過ごすためにガイドさんおすすめのガーリックシュリンプを注文してくれました。前日ワイキキで食べたものとは比べ物にならないくらいおいしかったです。

乗馬のツアー参加の方を待つのでハイキングコースは時間がすごくたっぷりあるようですが
ハイキング終わってお茶したりもできるので待ったというよりは自分のペースでゆっくり散策・カキ氷を食べたりでき配分も良かったです。

また同じプラン参加して、今回見れなかった海がめを見たいです！
